Traffic pattern change at Big Ditch Creek bridge

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The state Department of Transportation has changed the traffic pattern on Route 322 (Black Horse Pike) as bridge reconstruction operations enter the next stage over the Big Ditch Creek in Hamilton Township.

DOT’s contractor, Agate Construction, set up the new construction zone on the westbound side of the bridge on Thursday, May 24. To accommodate that work, DOT will shift two-way traffic onto the newly rebuilt eastbound portion of the bridge and restore a second westbound lane.

HOLMDEL – Specialist 4th Class Steven A. Carrozzo of Mays Landing will be honored by the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Foundation 11 a.m. Monday, May 28 in a Memorial Day Ceremony here.
At the event, Carrozzo will be one of five veterans inducted into the In Memory program.

Cove beach badges are available

Beach badges are now available for Cove Beach, which opens Friday, June 15. The Cove will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays through Mondays. The tags are $12 for residents and $24 for non-residents. Day tags are $6 for residents and $9 for non-residents.
