Educational blogs are becoming more and more common in the field of education. They provide students and teachers a process to interact and keep up to date with ideas, concepts, and dates. Finding informational and fun blogs for your classroom and students can be hard but here are ten that I found very interesting.

1. Ideas and Thoughts

This blog is run and used by technology educators, they share heart warming stories, thoughts, ideas, and fun facts about their occupation and things they experience throughout there teachings. Many conferences are also reviewed. Great blog with many users and experiences shared.

2. Bionic Teaching
A very informative blog dating back many years with frequent updates and data. Mainly about technology and media for education but contains many education techniques, ideas from teachers and students and many meaningful posts that can help the teachers and the students realize their dreams.

3. Libraries Interact
This is an Australian blog containing information about libraries, education, good books to read, and overall quality posts. Excellent layout that makes the blog seem interactive with viewers of the blog. Gives a great number of good books to read and activities to venture.

4. Stephen's Web

Stephen's Web greatly related to our class with Professor Kyser and I found it extremely interesting. Really deals with advancements in technology inside and outside of the classroom. Contains information on Cloud Computing, advancing technologies, and technologies that could change the face of humanity. A great source of information and a very informed blog.

5. History is Elementary
A blog run by an elementary History teacher and very informative and helpful to elementary History teachers and young students interested in History. Has a lot of fun posts about History, recent to far past. Contains neat pictures and facts that can help teachers gain ideas for their classes or help the young students gain knowledge. Really fun blog for anyone interested in History.

6. Random Walk in Learning
Random walk in learning is a wonderful site about the way things work. There are postings about how a set of gears work to how cooperation can move humanity and persons forward in life. It's got very interesting concepts and ideas and would be very good for any teacher and any young adult interested in the way things work.

7. Funny Monkey

Funny Monkey is an interesting blog as it details education, especially in the field of technology, and seems to be a motivational site as it has entries that involve being a good person and making good choices. A very good and fun blog.

8. Practical Theory
This is a site detailing one teacher's teaching theory and her experiences and things that she has done. She details all of her speakings that she does and gives motivational poems and tidbits that make it feel more personal. A very talented teacher's blog indeed.

9. Speed of Creativity
Another blog detailing technologies and the use of those technologies in the education system. Show's detailed instructions on how to do educational tasks and methods for using technology in teaching. A great, very detailed, instructional website that is well designed and well composed.

10. Dissertation Research
Dissertation Research is a blog designed to help high school and college students who are preparing to write large and important papers, such as, a dissertation. The blog gives instructions and hints on how to research more effectively, where to look, and good writing methods. A very informative site for a person looking for hints for an overwhelming paper.

Hopefully you all will check out these wonderful blogs as they contain a wealth of individual knowledge and ideas that can be used by us as teachers or by students as an instructional backup.
