These wild style polymer clay hearts are great for beginners and polymer clay enthusiasts alike. We simply rolled out the clay and hand cut different shaped hearts. Then we used tiny balls for the marbled effect and small strips for the zebra effect.

As you can see the variations are endless and highly addictive. Our only advice is to remember to add a string hole with a bbq skewer before you bake!

Burlap and Ric Rac

Simplicity is key when crafting for a dude, so it’s no wonder that a little burlap and green ric rac goes a long way. Burlap is forgiving so you just top stich it and you are done. Don’t forget to stitch on the ric rac first!

No Sew Felt Stocking with Appliques

Felt is normally the most forgiving of fabrics and this no sew felt stocking is so simple to create with just a little strong fusible interfacing (Stich Witchery) around the seams. Finish it off with some iron on appliques and you have a cute no fuss stocking.

A Little Monogram Felt Stocking

Top stich two red felt pieces (along with white piece and loop) and then personalize your little stocking with little felt iron on t-shirt letters. Simple, fun and perfect as a little gift and Christmas ornament.

Mini Hot Chocolate Stocking

This mini stocking fits a packet of Swiss Miss and marshmallows perfectly! If your sewing machine can handel a little plastic (never use the same needle on plastic and fabric) then simply trace the mini stocking onto a plastic bag then sew a tight straight stich along the template starting just under the zipper.

Naughty Cocoa Crispy Coal Treats in a Parchment Paper Stocking

Sew some Cocoa Crispy Coal Treats ( recipe found here) into a parchment paper stocking and you have the perfect gift for those naughty people on your  Santa’s list. It’s gluten free too!

Trace large stocking on parchment paper. Sew together leaving the top open. Stuff with treats and close with a folded piece of stamped “naughty” paper sewn across the top.

As you can see this template has many crafty variations. Click the pay now button and we’ll send you a printable pdf document which includes a large and small stocking with nifty christmas patterns on them!

Don’t forget to trace the large stocking at least 1 inch larger than the template. I recommend taking a piece of 12×12 scrap paper and creating your large stocking template on that.

Ok, so they don’t look like black coal but when you put them inside a parchment paper christmas stocking anything can look like lumps of coal! Check out the parchment paper stocking DIY and other fun stocking crafts here.

Cocoa Crispy Coal Treats Recipe

• Box of Cocoa Crispy cereal
• Package of marshmallows
• Half cup agave syrup
• One cup of peanut butter (We use Skippy natural)
• Greased pan

Directions

Bring agave syrup to a simmer then quickly stir in peanut butter, marshmallows and cereal. The trick is to stir fast to keep them from burning. Once it’s all mixed nicely pour into greased pan and wait for it to cool.

The end result is gooey yummy peanut butter chocolate marshmallow goodness! Take that glutenoids!

My crafty lady used empty wine bottles, corks, burlap and  OrAngie, Yallow and Gaareen for this wine country themed Thanksgiving table scape.

She even threw in a sweet crafty tip on how to turn your wine bottles into votive candle holders with a jar lid!

The Modern Succulent Centerpiece

Succulents are are great addition to modern centerpieces. Keep it simple by using colors from Gaareen and OrAngie! Plus succulents give you a plethora of options for future holidays!

The Squash Mason Jar Centerpiece

Squash and skinny orange tapers are a great alternative for your thanksgiving lighting needs. Add a simple floral arrangement with a mason jar wrapped in twine and filled with orange daisies.

The Simple Glittery Centerpiece

Instead of spending a fortune on flowers we recommend adding a touch of glitter and the vibrant color combo of OrAngie and Gaareen. It’s simple, sweet and best of all cheap!

Many of you know we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get the Paint Chip Pals Kickstarter campaign launched. As of this moment we have everything turned into Kickstarter and we’re just waiting (on pins and needles) for their thumbs up before we release it into the wild. I figured since we have some time (and tons of anxiety) I would let you all get to know the Paint Chip Pals a little better!

Now just imagine how much happiness hugging a Paint Chip Pal Plush doll would bring you! It looks a lot like this :)

For those newer to crowd funding I explain it as an exciting way to support independent designers, creatives and inventors while getting something neat in return!

In our case we want to make a bunch of Paint Chip Pal plush dolls but we don’t have the money to fill a large minimum quantity order. By using Kickstarter we can raise the money needed to manufacture the Paint Chip Pals and send them to the people who backed the Kickstarter project! The fail safe is that nobody will be charged a cent if for some freakish reason we don’t reach our funding goal. If we do meet our funding goal (yippee) then you will be charged at the pledge level you chose and then  we send you all of the great things that you pledged for. On top of all that, our backers will also get to follow our journey and help shape where we go in the future!

Sure it’s not as sophisticated as your Hollywood professionals but it sure is crafty! Now if for some reason one of my readers is in fact working on the Walking Dead I would like to put in my plea for a tour of the Walking Dead special  FX department. I’d simply die for a chance to do that ;)
