NEW "buttoned" cushions

I made 6 patchwork cushions which have been stuffed and quilted. I tried using my prettiest, most floral fabrics alongside some of the fabrics I designed. I seem to be drawn towards fabrics with neon pink and yellow at the moment, they really sing in this sunny weather!

New Products - Little and Large

I have 2 new products in my Etsy shop.

First are my "micro postcards", they're tiny versions of my postcard designs made into a set of 8 magnets which includes 2 of each of the 4 patterns. I also designed and made a little matchbox to keep them in!

Secondly, a pack of 8 (normal sized!) postcards with 4 fun, bright retro patterns.

Memory Game - Available to buy now!

My print and make memory game is available here! It only costs $2.99 (£1.95) and is so easy to make. Here are some simple instructions;

YOU WILL NEED

cutting board
craft knife
2 x sheets of A4 size (or letter size for US customers)1000 micron greyboard (try a craft/model shop or eBay)
glue or double sided tape
your memory game PDF

Once you have purchased and received your PDF, print both sheets twice onto paper or card of your choice (I used a thick glossy paper for durability)
Apply the glue or double sided tape to one of the sides of the greyboard and adhere the memory game sheet. Turn the greyboard over and stick on the backing paper sheet in the same way.
Repeat step 2 so you have matching pairs.
With your freshly bladed craft knife and cutting mat, use the outlines of each card as guides for cutting them out.
Turn all the finished cards face down and shuffle them around. You're now ready to play, but be warned...your children are likely to be better at this than you are!

You could also use these to make gift tags or mini framed wall art for your doll house!

Its always a bit of a challenge to get much designing done during the school holidays, so its taken the 2 weeks to complete my new Kitschy Digitals kit (not yet available, but I'll let you know when it's up).
Its is a memory game I designed for you to print and make! It includes 24 different designs and a backing paper design (obviously they need to be printed out twice!). I stuck my printed sheets onto 1mm thick grey board which works really well and my 3 children haven't stopped playing with them since! There's definitely something to be said about the classic simple games...

...I've also added some more "70s Supermarket" magnet sets to my Etsy shop.

New Magnet Set

I turned my "70s supermarket Kit" into these magnet sets to sell on my Etsy shop. I had them professionally printed onto 350gsm card stock so they're really sturdy and difficult for little fingers to fold. They also have a high gloss finish so any spills or sticky finger marks can be easily wiped off.

I'm playing with new ideas to redesign my website and I came up with this monogram. I can't decide if I'm going to use it yet, I just had to get the idea down after doodling it on the back of an old receipt!
(If its not obvious, its a small "a" inside a larger "a" which is supposed to look like an apple!)

These are my bright, fun floral felt garlands which I designed and made for my Etsy Shop.

I intended to list them a few of weeks ago in time for people to buy for Mother's Day decorations, but with a high demand for my Mini Dachshunds I didn't get round to it. However, with Easter round the corner they're enough to brighten up your home, even if it is pouring down outside!

Dream Kitchen DIY Kit

I designed a new kit for my Kitschy Digitals shop. I was inspired by vintage dollhouse interiors and the tin toy kitchens which originated from Germany in the 1960s. I especially love this one by Fuchs;

Below is a tutorial for my "Dream Kitchen" printable kit. It shows how to create a neat box and includes some handy tips and ideas!

Print your box templates onto thick card (my printer can just about manage 300gsm).

I used a textured card for a nice finish.

For a crisp straight edge use a craft knife and metal ruler. It's always good to start with a fresh blade.

Use scissors to cut any fiddly round corners (although these don't show once finished).


When creating fold lines, place the ruler along the edges of the template as a guide to where your score lines need to be. I prefer to score the back of the card for a smoother finished crease. For a crisp sharp edge score the printed side.

For neat folds on the tabs, make sure the inside corners are cut right up to the crease.

Fold along each score line and smooth down the crease with a smooth blunt edge.

Apply adhesive to the right hand tab. I like to use double sided tape cut to size; it's less messy and prevents any gluey residue left on the card.

Apply a piece of tape over your glued tab on the inside for extra security. Tuck in the remaining tabs.


Your box is now complete and ready to play with!

10 pretty papers are included in the kit for you to print and decorate your play kitchen! For the best colour results I recommend printing onto premium coated paper on a fine setting.

...and some lino style flooring and brick wallpaper. All these papers are ideal for decorating any dollhouse!

I used an A4 size cardboard box for my kitchen

and applied the brick wallpaper to the outside


I cut a small square from one of the floor papers to create a "formica" top. You could print extra cupboards to make a longer kitchen counter.

I barely finished taking photos before my 2 girls wanted to investigate and fill it with dolls...

...poor Mrs Wooden Top with all her children!
