The Samsung SGH-D600 is the successor to the Samsung SGH-D500, and differs from it with a slightly revised design, a higher resolution camera which is located outside the sliding area instead of inside, TV output, and support for microSD external flash memory cards. It also includes a Picsel Viewer for Microsoft Office documents. It is available in black/grey and Chrome colour variants, and has a rubberised finish to some areas of its body.

Samsung SGH-D600 features GSM (quad Band) making it have the availability for seamless data varying many standard formats and suitable for business features such as e-mail. It also features 2.0 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom and coupled with PictBridge function that allow direct access to any printer for printing your images.

Sony Ericsson k700

The K700 features Bluetooth, IrDA, GPRS (4+2), J2ME support, and a 640x480 (VGA resolution) digital camera which is capable of taking still photographs and videos. The digital camera has 4x digital zoom and a LED light which is bright enough to use as both a flash for the camera and a torch. The digital camera can extrapolate photographs to higher resolutions - up to 1280x960 in extended mode, about 1.2 megapixel resolution, however, due to poor VGA quality, pictures often appear to be pixelated when uploaded onto a PC. The K700 also has a built-in email client, WAP and HTML browser which supports the SVG Tiny specification, a media player which is capable of playing MIDI, WAV, MP3 and AAC audio files and 3GP, MPEG-4 video files, and an FM radio (which is only operable when the supplied headphones are inserted). MP3 files can be used as ringtones except the Vodafone edition due to copyright infringements.

Its J2ME virtual machine supports JSR-184, which is an API that allows the creation of mobile applications which produce 3D computer graphics. It is advertised as having 41 megabytes of built-in memory, which is not expandable.

One unusual feature of the device was its support of the HID Bluetooth profile, under the name of "Remote Control". This is the first instance of HID profile support in a mainstream device. This poorly documented feature allows the device to function as a computer keyboard/mouse. This feature has been included in most subsequent Sony Ericsson models, such as the Sony Ericsson S700 and K750.

A feature which allows access to system information which isn't accessible through the interface menu can be accessed by pressing: right, *, left, left, *, left, *. This feature allows checking of the phone functions such as the screen (can be used as SOS), camera, flash (can be used as SOS), speaker, microphone. There is also another way to light up the backlight go on and off simultaneously:

1. Turn backlight off. 2. Make a new appointment with a reminder about a few minutes after the present time to see the backlight (eg. Present time: 10:44AM, change to 10:51AM). 3. Wait till the time for the Appointment to alert you, when it does; the phone should be lighting on and off including the keyboard's backlight, this can then be used as a SOS signal. The volume button can also be used as a colour picker when editing pictures, this feature has been removed after the T630i but can be accessed when editing certain types of pictures.

The N95 stays true to its tagline of what computers have become. With a worthy list of features, Nokia has designed it ina a way that offers great pocketable package. The battery life were enhanced and the user interface also gets an uplifted touch by the designer. It is a worthy opponent of the iphone as it can stands out on its own niche of either a smartphone, cellphone or a multimedia device.

Integrated GPS system
The N95 contains an integrated GPS receiver which is located below the 0 key on the keypad. The phone ships with navigation software. Maps are free and can be downloaded either over the air (via a carrier's data packet network) or through the phone's built-in Wifi. Maps can also be downloaded via a PC using the Nokia MapLoader application. Individual city guides and voice navigation are also available, but require a fee. A-GPS was added later, which greatly improved the performance of the GPS. Whilst TomTom Navigator 6 does not support use of the N95s internal GPS, Route66 Version 7 works fully with the Integrated GPS.

Multimedia abilities
The N95 is a full fledged music player. It supports MP3, WMA, RealAudio, SP-MIDI, AAC+, eAAC+, MIDI, AMR, M4A, True Tones. Its two-way slider, when slid towards the keypad, allows access to its media playback buttons. A standard 3.5mm jack is located on the left side of the phone and allows the user to connect any standard headphones to the unit; a user can also use Bluetooth for audio output using A2DP. Capable built-in stereo speakers allow the user to forgo any headphones. The N95 is also capable of playing videos through the included RealPlayer application. Videos can also be played through the TV-out feature. TV-out is a special graphics chip and companion utility that allows users to connect the smartphone using the supplied composite cable to any TV or audiovisual device. Its aim is to let you demo your photos and videos on a large screen, but internet, video games, and music can also be used.

Internet
The N95 has built-in Wi-Fi, with which it can access the Internet (through a 802.11b/g wireless network). The N95 can also connect to the Internet through a carrier packet data network such as UMTS, HSDPA, or EDGE. The web browser displays full web pages as opposed to simplified pages as on most other phones. Web pages may be viewed in portrait or landscape mode and automatic zooming is supported. The N95 also has Bluetooth built in and works with wireless earpieces that use Bluetooth 2.0 technology and for file transfer.

It should be noted that the original N95 does not support US based versions of UMTS/HSDPA; UMTS features in this version of this phone are disabled by default as sold in the US (but can be reactivated if needed). Likewise, the forthcoming N95 U.S. will only support AT&T's 850/1900 MHz UMTS/HSDPA bands, not the 1700 MHz T-Mobile USA band or the 2100 MHz band used internationally.

The phone can also act as a WAN access point allowing a tethered PC access to a carrier's packet data network. VoIP software and functionality is also included with the phone (though some carriers have opted to remove this feature).

The Nokia N90 has a rotational upper part which makes it an interesting function when in a camera working mode. Nokia also adds in the rotational part for the camera so it can capture images or videos in many interesting angles. Carl Zeiss once again delivers glass optics with a high resolution screen with 2 Mega Pixel.
