Real star Srihari (49) passed away at Leelavathi Hosiptal in Mumbai today.
He has been suffering from liver disease from quite a long time and today he breathed his last while undergoing treatment for his liver disease. He had two sons. His wife Shanti Srihari was also an actress for quite a long time on South Indian screen. This unexpected startling news shook entire Tollywood.
Dasari Narayana Rao introduced Sri Hari to Telugu screen. He had innumerable memorable portrayals on Telugu screen as hero, villain and character actor.
Raghumudri Sri Hari, better known as Srihari (August 15, 1964 - October 9, 2013), was an award-winning actor in Tollywood. He started out in Telugu cinema as the antagonist and subsequently went on to do some notable lead roles.
Born and brought up in Balanagar, Hyderabad, he is one of most well-known actors and highest paid character artist in the Telugu film industry.
He started his career as a stunt fighter.
After some years, he was introduced by well-known director Dasari Narayana Rao in 1986. His first movie as a hero was Police. His movie was the best opening ever for small budget films in the 1990s.
He has two sons and one daughter. Unfortunately he lost his

daughter, Akshara, at the age of four months.
In the remembrance of his daughter he started the Akshara Foundation. He also adopted four villages in Medchal. He died with the liver related problem on October 9th 2013.

Good Movie with Intense Love Story

Like his all previous movies Director Mohan Krishna Indraganti has made his mark in delivering a good product.

1st Half is Good and Entertaining.Songs are also well supported to the story.

2nd Half is Good with slight down here and there.But the Climax has lifted the movie very well.

Sumanth Aswin had improved from his previous movie Tuneega Tuneega. Heroine Eesha has done extremely well and taken the movie to next level.

Rao Ramesh,Rohini and Jhansi gave up their levels.It was so good to watch Madhu Bala onscreen but her performance was not upto the mark. Comedy dialogues by Srinivas Avsarala is extra plus for the film.

Music is good and Mohan Krishna story,screenplay and Direction is superb.

Overall this is a movie to watch with your family,friends and love. Clean and matured Love story.

BTech graduates become Police Constables in state !

With the collapse of the software boom in the country , most of the engineering graduates from AP who are lacking language and communication skills are at the recieving end .

AP produces over 2 lakh engineering graduates every year of which nearly 60,000 only are absorbed as tech professionals and rest of them had to chose other avocations.

In AP this year as many as 12,000 of the 37000 police constables posts were filled up by BTech graduates.
A Nasscom survey show that only 10 percent of the fresh B tech graduates every year were ‘ employable‘ as the rest of the lot did not have any language skills or even communication talents .
Police recruiters said some of the B.Tech graduates were poor even in Telugu .

‘ The reason being that many of the engineering colleges lacked good faculties and were set up for sake of tuition fee reimbursement benefits from the government‘ they say .
So no wonder we can find many B.Tech graduates as police constables ,bank clerks, Govt employees etc or even unemployed criminals in near future .

Kingfisher house seized in Mumbai

Lenders to Kingfisher Airlines on Saturday took possession of Kingfisher House—the erstwhile corporate office of Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) near Mumbai airport's domestic terminal. The move is part of the lenders' moves to recover Rs 6,072 crore along with interest.

A SBI Caps trustee took physical possession of the 25,850-sq ft plot, which includes the office premises of over 17,072 sq ft, situated on the Western Express Highway. A notice announcing this was pasted on the building's doors.

SBI Caps, on behalf of the lenders, had issued a notice to KFA under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act on May 3, 2013. The notice is a precursor to acquiring a defaulter's property under the Act. "The Act says that if the borrower fails to repay within 60 days of the notice, lenders can take possession of assets and dispose of them," said a bank official who is among the lenders to Kingfisher Air.

Banks have already recovered some money selling shares and would also look at attaching other physical assets, including Kingfisher Villa in Goa, the official added. Besides attaching property, lenders are invoking corporate and personal guarantees provided by Vijay Mallya as part of their efforts to recover their money.

State Bank of India has the largest exposure of over Rs 1,600 crore followed by Punjab National Bank and IDBI Bank which have an exposure of Rs 800 crore each. Bank of India is seeking to recover Rs 650 crore.

Facebook to offer OpenTable restaurant bookings via mobile

Facebook Inc struck a deal with online restaurant booking service OpenTable Inc that will allow users to reserve tables at restaurants via a Facebook app, as the world's No. 1 social network continues to expand its mobile services.

In an announcement on its website, Facebook said the feature would be available on its mobile pages for more than 20,000 OpenTable restaurant customers across North America.

It wasn't immediately clear if Facebook would receive any commission from OpenTable bookings.

More consumers are accessing Web services using smartphones and Facebook has been adapting its business to benefit from the trend.

Shares of OpenTable touched a year high of $74.47 before closing up nearly 8 percent at $74.08 Monday on the Nasdaq.

Drunk Panesar fined for urinating on bouncers

In a bizarre incident, a drunk England spinner Monty Panesar urinated on bouncers after he was thrown out of a nightclub in Brighton early hours on Monday and has been fined by the police, reports said.

The 31-year-old spinner had been partying at the Shooshh club on Brighton’s beachfront. However, when a group of women complained he was hassling them, Panesar was asked to leave, Sun reported.

Panesar proceeded to the promenade above the club and relieved himself on the bouncers standing below. The bouncers then chased Panesar until he was cornered in a nearby pizza parlour, according to the report.

The bouncers dragged Panesar back to the club and called the police. He was fined 90 pound sterling by the Sussex police.

A Sussex police spokesman said, “A 31-year-old man received a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly after being seen urinating in public near the Shooshh Club in King’s Road Arches, Brighton, around 4.13 am on Monday.”

Panesar later released a statement, through his spokesperson, offering an “unreserved apology” for his behaviour.

“Monty would like to apologise unreservedly for any offence caused.” The cricketer’s spokesperson has since apologised on his behalf.

Sussex County Cricket Club has launched an investigation into the incident.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Sussex County Cricket Club can confirm that an incident took place involving Monty Panesar in the early hours of Monday on 5 August. The matter is under full investigation and the club will make no further comment at this stage.”

Samsung Electronics Co has applied for US and South Korean trademarks for a watch that connects to the Internet in the latest sign that consumer technology companies see wearable devices as the future of their business.

Samsung described “Samsung Galaxy Gear” as a wearable digital electronic device in the form of a wristwatch, wrist band or bangle in its July 29 application with US Patent and Trademark Office. A month earlier, it applied for a “Samsung Gear” trademark in South Korea.

The trademark applications did not show the shape of the products. But drawings from a Samsung design patent approved in May show a watch-like design with a flexible screen that curves around the wrist.

The US trademark application said the device will be “capable of providing access to the Internet, for sending and receiving phone calls, electronic mails and messages” as well as “for keeping track of or managing personal information.”

The trademark filings in the US and in South Korea show that Samsung is deep in preparations for what tech industry experts expect will be a new generation of mobile technology that dramatically expands the utility of single-function objects such as watches and glasses. The South Korean consumer electronics giant was caught flatfooted by Apple’s invention of the smartphone but through what turned out to be a legally risky strategy of imitation was able to capture a dominant share of the global smartphone market within a few years.

Apple Inc applied 3 June for a trademark in Japan for “iWatch.” Industry watchers have long speculated that Apple is working on a smart watch that uses a version of the operating system that powers the iPhone and iPad. The company has not confirmed those rumors but CEO Tim Cook has hinted it may be developing a wearable computing device.

Google Inc is testing an early version of Internet-connected spectacles called Glass. It uses a small screen above the right eye that displays information and imagery retrieved from the Internet.

The South Korean patent office said the Gear trademark will not be approved this year as it takes seven to eight months to start reviewing applications due to a waiting list. Samsung applied for the South Korean trademark on June 21.

It was not clear if Samsung would use the “Samsung Gear” trademark for a Smart Watch. The trademark application covers 38 possible products including mobile telephones, bracelets, glasses and software interfaces that monitor human vital signs.

South Korea’s patent office said in June that Samsung had patented watch designs in which more than three quarters of the device is covered by a flexible display that curves around the wrist. Illustrations showed ‘back’ and ‘home’ buttons at the bottom of the screen. Another illustration shows a rectangular screen with an edge that tapers toward the top.

The product is made of metal, synthetic and glass materials, Samsung’s patent document said.

Samsung executive vice president Lee Young Hee said in March interview with Bloomberg that the company’s mobile division has been working on a smart watch. Samsung declined to confirm the report then.

Company spokeswoman Chenny Kim declined to comment on the patent applications.

Microsoft has launched the Microsoft Office 365 targeted at the youth and college going students in India. At the budget rate of Rs 87 per month, the tech giant is offering the service for Rs 4199 for a period of four years.

Microsoft has tied up with major institutes and colleges in the country to offer the service to students. According to Ramkumar Pichai, "University students will love the capabilities of new Office. Office 365 University will be a trusted and integral part of students' everyday always-on, always-connected life, taking full advantage of the cloud and touch capabilities, all at the best price."

The service will ensure that students can easily access all MS files like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access. The service will be synced with two PCs or MACs at a time so students can sync their home systems and one another source. Also, Microsoft is offering additional 20 GB Premium SkyDrive Storage to boost sales.

The company has already collaborated with most colleges and institutions in India and students will have to specify their university credentials before gaining access to the program. Incase a student does not find a particular college listed, additional information about the same can be provided and then access can be gained.

While most science course run a duration of four years, there are multiple other courses which are not longer than three years for graduates and two years for post graduates. In such a scenario, members will be able to use the system for a period of 4 years.

According to Tarun Malik, Director of Product Management and Strategy at Microsoft India, “Four years is the usual length of a college course that is why the subscription will be for a minimum of that period.”

Microsoft hopes to create an interest in the youth by this move. Also, Office 365 will enable youth of explore all of MS Office tools at once and will also aid the ailing tech giant’s sales. With a rise in alternate services and options, Microsoft needs to push their offerings and promote them among the youth segment which is more open to experimenting and trying out newer products. Whether Microsoft Office 365 manages to penetrate and create an impact, time will tell.
