Mendengar keluhan-keluhan tentang Indonesia membuat saya letih. Tapi mendapati kehebatan dan kelebihan negeri ini juga ternyata lebih melelahkan.

Sebuah bangsa yang katanya besar. Negeri yang diciptakan Tuhan sambil tersenyum. Zamrud khatulistiwa yang terbentang sepanjang 3.977 mil antara Samudera Hindia dan Pasifik. Yang konon memiliki daratan sepanjang 1.922.570 km², dengan 3.257.483 km² panjang perairan, 95.181 km garis pantai, punya 17.504 pulau, lebih dari 53 gunung, 500 lebih suku, 742 bahasa daerah, lebih dari 300.000 spesies liar, dan tentu saja 240 juta penduduk.

Tapi kenapa begitu sulit “menjual” bangsa ini? Kenapa tidak bisa kita leluasa menikmatinya? Kenapa begitu susah menjadi orang senang di sini? Dan kenapa begitu senang kita jadi orang susah?

Sewaktu Malaysia mengakui batik dan tari pendet sebagai kebudayaannya, kita semua kebakaran jenggot. Lalu terbirit-birit mematenkan. Tapi kok saya pesimis, tidak banyak yang rakyat kita bisa dapatkan dari usaha itu. Paten ya tinggal paten. Pengakuan di atas kertas. Dan tidak signifikan mengurangi antrian pembagian zakat.

Jika Malaysia memroduksi batik berkualitas secara masif – lalu cukup menyantumkan tulisan Batik Indonesia pada labelnya – yang makmur yaa tetap rakyat Malaysia. Para pengusahanya, pekerjanya, distributornya, reseller-nya, penjual kain dasarnya, produsen lilinnya, produsen pewarnanya, perusahaan listrik dan airnya, mbak-mbak penjaga tokonya.

Kalau negara tetangga membuat pertunjukan Tari Pendet di festival pariwisata mereka, tentu saja nama Indonesia ada tertera kecil-kecil di brosur meja depan. Tapi yang kebagian rezeki yaa tetap panitianya, pemerintahnya, pemilik toko cenderamatanya,tukang kacang rebusnya, calo karcisnya – kalau ada hehe. Pendapatan mereka bertambah, tapi kita tidak. Karena rakyat kita tidak kebagian royalty sepersen pun.

Kenyataan ini yang membuat saya letih. Bahwa kita tidak bisa berbuat banyak atas itu.

Maka pada satu malam, saya brainstorming bersama 3 orang rekan. Di tempat nongkrong yang biasa, minum kopi yang biasa, situasi yang biasa. Yang tidak biasa cuma aturannya: kita berempat tidak boleh mengeluh.

Temanya: bagaimana memasarkan Indonesia. Lalu bagaimana menjadikannya bermanfaat untuk menggairahkan ekonomi mikro – sekecil apapun.

Tujuannya: InsyaAllah masuk surga.

Diskusi kami berangkat dengan mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada. Kenapa ya usaha mengangkat industri pariwisata Indonesia yang dilakukan lembaga eksekutif dan regulator kita tidak banyak membuahkan hasil?

Oooh…mungkin karena saking banyaknya keindahan dan kehebatan negeri ini, kita jadi bingung memilih unique selling proposition…bingung menentukan diferensiasi…bingung menetapkan positioning Indonesia sebagai brand…

Buktinya iklan-iklan pariwisata kita tidak pernah jauh dari gambar-gambar pemandangan nan indah. Buktinya Bali lebih tenar secara parsial karena dia lebih spesifik menjual pantai. Buktinya tagline pariwisata kita kerap berubah-ubah tanpa diikuti kampanye komunikasi yang jelas (2001: Indonesia, just a smile away. 2003: Indonesia, endless beauty of diversity. Belum setahun, dirubah lagi jadi: Indonesia, the color of life. 2004: Indonesia, ultimate in diversity. Entah yang sekarang-sekarang, sudah terlalu banyak yang harus diingat. Bandingkan dengan Malaysia Truly Asia yang didukung kampanye konsisten). Buktinya lagi, kita punya 17.504 pulau dan 9.634 di antaranya belum punya nama (50% lebih!) hehehe. Saking bingungnya.

Eh, sebentar. Kenapa tidak kita tularkan saja kebingungan itu pada dunia? Kenapa tidak kita “jual” saja semua kelebihan dan kekurangan kita apa adanya, lalu kita biarkan dunia yang menilai? Kita biarkan saja para turis itu datang ke Indonesia, lalu tersesat dengan berlimpahnya keindahan negeri ini!

Maka tema kampanye kita kali ini judulnya: GET LOST IN INDONESIA!

Tapi gimana caranya? Lembaga otoritas yang bekerja penuh waktu saja kerepotan menjalankan kampanye pariwisata, apalagi kami yang cuma berempat? Sebab, memang tidak mudah. Kampanye-kampanye sebelumnya saja, denger-denger, selalu dipenuhi justifikasi tentang kekurangan waktu, kekurangan biaya, kekurangan tenaga…

Kekurangan tenaga? Eh, sebentar. Bukankah kita punya 240 juta penduduk Indonesia? Penduduk sebuah negara terbanyak ke-lima di dunia?

Sekali lagi, 240 juta orang!

Yang 180 juta-nya adalah pengguna ponsel. Yang 40 juta di antaranya adalah pengguna internet. Yang 80% dari pengguna internet itu punya facebook. Yang menjadi negara pengguna Facebook nomer 2 di dunia. Yang jadi pengguna Twitter terbanyak nomer 3 di dunia. Yang, artinya, 240 juta orang dengan hobi berbagi yang amat sangat teramat dahsyat!

Jadi kenapa tidak kita jadikan saja 240 juta orang itu sebagai pekerja kampanye pariwisata kita? Kenapa tidak kita serahkan saja masalah pendanaan, tenaga dan waktu pada mereka?

Maka jadilah, Get Lost in Indonesia sebagai user-generated tourism movement yang dimiliki dan digerakan oleh seluruh rakyat Indonesia!

Caranya?

Pergunakan kamera digital, manual, atau kamera ponsel Anda untuk menangkap apapun yang ada di Indonesia yang Anda pikir menarik. Bisa pemandangan, boleh makanan, bisa Pak Maman yang bekerja mengurut urat keseleo sambil mendendangkan pupuh kinanti. Masing-masing Anda pasti punya pengalaman unik. Cantumkan caption dan deskripsi pada setiap foto.

Lalu upload foto-foto dan cerita tersebut ke www.facebook.com/getlostinindonesia atau ke twitter @getlostisgood atau ke www.GetLostinIndonesia.com (website sedang dikerjakan dan segera tayang, akan kami kabari secepatnya).

Setelah itu?

Anda tentu boleh membantu gerakan ini. Anda boleh mengunggah dan mengunduh foto (dengan etika tentunya). Anda boleh menceritakan gerakan ini kepada siapa pun. Atau berbagi foto-foto yang ada kepada teman-teman Anda di dalam maupun luar negeri. Atau mencetaknya dan sekedar menempelkannya di toilet rumah Anda agar siapa pun tahu tentang Indonesia. Boleh! Karena ini gerakan milik orang Indonesia.

Anda juga boleh berbincang langsung dengan pengunggah foto tentang lokasi dan memintanya bercerita lebih lanjut. Boleh juga menghubungi pemilik foto siapa tahu Anda bermaksud menggunakannya untuk kepentingan komersil. Boleh, sebab ini gerakan dari dan oleh Anda.

Sebab artinya, gerakan ini akan menyebarluaskan Indonesia secara organik. Juga membantu Indonesia menemukan kehebatan dan keindahan dirinya sendiri (tanpa perlu mengirim petugas untuk mendata, bukan?). Membantu tukang serabi di Gang Sejahtera berpromosi. Membantu UKM-UKM di Indonesia menyampaikan produknya kepada dunia. Membantu para turis menemukan shortcut kepada sumber informasi langsung (bayangkan, turis tak lagi perlu mencari brosur daftar museum, tapi langsung berhubungan dengan komunitas Sahabat Museum, misalnya).

Semoga semakin banyak potensi yang bisa diketemukan. Semoga semakin kencang suara kita didengar dunia. Semoga semakin banyak UKM yang terbantu pemasarannya. Tanpa perlu menunggu kebijakan apapun diputuskan.

Dunia kini sedang digemparkan oleh kehadiran iPhone 4. Orang-orang pun rela antri untuk mendapatkan gadget terbaru keluaran Apple Inc ini. Namun sayangnya, iPhone 4 yang resmi dijual di toko-toko di AS, Inggris, dan Jepang sejak Kamis ,(24/6/2010) lalu, yang diantri banyak orang hadir bukan tanpa cela.

Pada hari pertama penjualan resminya, pembeli iPhone 4 melaporkan adanya kerusakan smartphone terbaru itu. Keluhan yang paling banyak dilaporkan dari para pengguna iPhone 4 adalah lemahnya sinyal ponsel dan cacat pada layar iPhone 4.

Lemahnya sinyal ponsel bisa dilihat dari video yang diunduh oleh pembeli iPhone 4 ke YouTube. Ketika tangan menggenggam iPhone 4 di bagian atas kiri, secara otomatis sinyal bar berkurang dan kemudian menghilang dalam beberapa detik.

Lemahnya sinyal ini ternyata disebabkan oleh antena yang memang dipendamkan di bagian atas kiri iPhone 4. Akibatnya, saat digenggam, penerimaan sinyal terganggu.

Fenomena ini mirip ketika seseorang yang berdiri di dekat antena televisi jaman dulu. Tubuh manusia yang berisi air memang mempengaruhi sinyal masuk.

Selain itu, sejumlah pembeli juga melaporkan "cacat" pada layar sentuh iPhone. Cacat itu berupa bintik kuning dan tak dapat hilang meski pengguna telah melakukan pengaturan warna.

Tak hanya itu, di sejumlah iPhone 4 juga ditemukan berkas goresan. Bahan stainless steel yang dipakai di iPhone 4 ini diduga sebagai penyebab mudah tergoresnya ponsel pintar ini
