When will the Tour Dates Be Announced:
We believe that some time mid next week we will be able to announce the tour dates.

Where will you Tour In the Fall:
This coming Fall tour will only be in the US and Canada. We do have plans to tour outside of North America but that will not happen till next year.

When will the new album come out:
The new album will not be coming out until next year, some time in the first quarter is what we are thinking, we planning to spend the rest of this year putting together the partners who will release the album outside the US.

Will the be New Music this year:
We are planning on releasing a new EP with the Fall tour, so there will be something new this year.

Will there still be walks on the Fall tour:
Yes. We have been busy in the studio working on the new album, and because of that we have not been able to share our plans for the next lap around the world. We are almost finished and after that much of our attention will be focused on continuing to build off of the work that so many of you have already been a part of.

Also I had some questions about the new site I thought I would just post.

hey.. a friend of mine were talking recently about the PM's.. and we thought it would be a good idea to have a sent box added to the PM section.. that way we can go back and read what we wrote so we don't feel stupid when we get a reply back from someone and not remember what we had originally wrote to them. so is that maybe going to be added into the mix?

We have talked about that, but I think it is not going to happen on the first stage of the new site. We already have a decent size list of even more things we want to improve and add beyond what has already been programmed for the new version. In general we feel like the PM's need to be made better and better as they seem to fill the role of e-mail better then the e-mail we do now.

but we are making every section more interactive what you mean here??????? the section have hanson.net is going to have other names in each subject??? just curiosity. sorry for ask them because i am new on that tehehehe.. just save the secret in my pocket tehehehe,

We are not going to be changing the names of sections. The idea is to connect the content more and more. If you are looking at an album in the Media section you might see that there is a gallary of photos from the making of the album, or a tour date to promote that album. That is what we mean by more interactive.

Community on the home page

This will be sitting on the right hand side of the homepage across from the latest news and blogs.

Michael Jackson

We were all in the studio working today when all the sudden all our phones started going off. One friend wrote. "Michael Jackson just died from a heart attack!! ... My childhood just died". None of us could believe this.

It is difficult to think of a more significant loss from the passing of an icon, than that of Michael Jackson. His entire 40 year career has been one of the greatest inspirations to our music. In the early part of our career he and his brothers helped motivate us to pursue music regardless of our age. He was an unequaled talent who set the bar for how music can effect the world, we join the millions of music fans, mourning the passing of this true great!

Ok. So we are done with the next album...

or at least we think we are done with it. On The Walk we thought we were done at one point and then we went back in and recorded more songs. I think what I should say is we are living with an almost done album right now, listening to it thinking about it trying to feel out what it might be missing. Maybe it is missing a song, maybe just a part. Regardless we are really happy with what we have.

I can't tell you how frustrated we are about the touring plans. We have felt like we could announce a tour four times this year but for one reason or another they end up not working out. The plan is tour in the fall.

Members Event Tonight

We just finished up the first of the three shows that we are doing for the Hanson.net members this weekend. I really hope everyone had a wonderful time hearing the new music. I know many people drove from many hours away California, Louisiana, etc... and other fly from half way around the world. We had a really great time, and feel really proud to share this new music with our most loyal fan first. See you in the morning for the walk.
