We had a great time with Adrienne and Brett – our very first wedding at the Cathedral. It was a beautiful spring day with a super fun group. I think these two may have been the best almost kissers I have ever seen – they could give lessons. Congrats guys!

Seriously love working with this family and was excited as always to get the call for their second senior, Sam. Sam is quite the charmer, and seriously– those dimples. Loved watching his mom watch him during the session, she’s so proud. Definitely makes me dread the day when our son gets to this point, I do not believe I will handle it with as much grace as she. Congrats on wrapping up your high school years Sam— wishing you all the best in college and beyond.

2013 SENIOR : JACK

A few years ago Jack’s younger sister Charlotte was in a wedding we shot and while I might have a tendency to forget something like this a hundred or so weddings later I immediately remembered them when his mom mentioned this. I remember thinking what nice kids they were and how cute they all were dancing together. Several years later I was just as impressed with Jack as an adult, such a nice guy with such a great family. Had a great time stomping around their family property and exploring a few places in Roanoke. Excited to hear he will be attending college in TN. I loved it there and know he will too. Congrats on your upcoming graduation. Enjoy the summer and the entire college experience!

Annie was such a good sport. Poor girl was battling a cold and I don’t know that the picture scene is really her thing. Regardless she’s super cute and I’m so glad we got to capture this piece of her high school career—- THE END! Congrats lady you’re almost there! For all of you out there who have kids you know how much it changes your life. I’m typing this while my “baby” is playing contently— which at this stage will last about 10 minutes… It changes you and your life for the better. I had a friend once tell me he and his wife felt like they were falling in love with each other all over again as they watched each other care for their new baby. I love that sentiment. I guess this shoot just made me nostalgic— We got to document Bryan & Serena on their wedding day and for some reason they have been one of those couples that stick with you. Regardless of how cheesy it sounds I consider it such an honor and privilege to be allowed in to capture people’s stories– as they start their own family history & legacy. I was so excited to see Bryan & Serena again and to meet sweet baby Amelia. Wishing you two all the best as you enter this new phase of life, I’m gonna warn you it’s pretty amazing!

Rylan is such a sweet baby boy who made me feel extra special, he totally took to my rocking, cooing and general attempts to get this boy sleeping (seriously love a good baby fix) What a fantastic addition he makes to this little family, and oh that handsome head of hair, made me think of Ez as a baby! So excited for your next year of growing, exploring, changing and totally rocking your mom & dad’s world!
