This quadruple thumbs up 4 X goes out to McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the company that made the chocolate snack cake with the cream in the middle and left the symbol off it.

I pray God blesses you abundantly for the healthy food changes you have made. The changes haven’t hit the Bahamas yet, but honey you can believe that I would take a trip over just to get a bucket and some fries. I’d tell all my friends about it!

As for the cookie company, I’m exceptionally proud of the fact that your ingredients exclude soy oil an use canola oil. I’m assuming that you use the corn syrup for the cookie in itself and the sugar for the middle? (I stopped eating white sugar)

Reading these books could save your life: https://happy4life.wordpress.com/2008…ave-your-life/

I can scrape out the middle and eat the delicious chocolate cake snack. I love chocolate!

In a world where you have to adhere to God’s laws (christian world that is!) it’s a relief to find people who care. I care about my health, but I also love food!

While I’m on the subject a very popular company who makes cakes and pastries under a feminine name has added soy oil and TBHQ to their pound cake. On the other hand, I see that they have made changes to the pies and coffee cake. It was sad when they added TBHQ because this pound cake was my special treat to buy along with whipped creama on Fridays. I can’t understand why they switched! The cake never had these preservatives and the oil before. It had pure butter. It was delicious without it. Until 2007, you got along quite well without it.

Well, heres hoping ALL of you continue the good work. Unbleached flour, corn syrup (not high fructose) and butter and/or canola and palm kernal and the other light oils, all make for healthy ingredients. It is enough to make the world happy and proud!

Note: For people who cannot eat gluten, check Newman’s Own. Thank you Newman’s for the best natural chocolate ever! Excessive, continuous heat in the body speeds up the aging process. Sugar (white refined) causes this unexplainable heat that you can’t seem to get rid of.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to carefully read the ingredient labels on all of your purchases.
BHA and BHT are also found in toiletries.

Can you believe this is salt?: life:https://happy4life.wordpress.com/2008…oisonous-salt/
Preservatives and additives are popping up in places you least expected. Also, watch out for those ‘all natural’ wheat breads. My mother read a health book that said the ‘wheat’ is tree bark/saw dust.

I am so proud of Kool Aid and Smuckers for changing some of their products, that I just had to put this out!

I went to the food store see, to get a few items. I met a co-worker there and she was picking up a few packs. I hadn’t touched the stuff since I was a kid so I decided to look since she was looking. I could not belive it! kool Aid is making clear punch! That means its like Capri Sun, but with all that exotic taste! I picked up a package of strawberry kiwi and a package of rasberry (my favortie!). My sister already tried the strawberry kiwi.

Wait, the fun isn’t over yet! I went to a mom n’ pops and found out about Smuckers making preserves and jelly with fruit syrup and/or corn syrup {I love that and/or bit !} and picked up a jar before it could get away. Thanks to Bravo soft drinks for making syrup sweetened soda. And also, the Blue Sky company. Am I happy or what? Thanks for making my day guys!

If you are tired of paying high amounts of money to post projects, or find writers, then you have finally reached a client’s haven! I have been freelance writing in-depth articles and blogging for 14 years.

I have edited eight books, two plays, written two books of my own and have written for Yahoo.com. One of the highlights of my career was when I received a 95% positive feedback on my health blogs from big companies like Hagen Daas, Pepperidge Farm, Nabisco and MSN news.

My writing experience includes:

SEO articles

Business/Finance

Social Issues

Teen/Women’s Issues

Human Resource/Career

Copywriting

Relationships and

General Articles

My rate is .25 cents per word. I can type four 400 word articles per day. 600 and 800 words are also possible; we just need to discuss the project you have in mind. My in depth articles usually run to 2000 words for $1.00 per word. As I mentioned before, we just need to discuss the project subject and deadline for me to complete.

Does anyone remember Caroline Miller? She was the editor-in-chief in 1995 for the top teen magazine in the U.S. I’m bringing her up because…well…I miss her writing!

I believe in progress and development, but I must admit that things have changed in the journalism department for a lot of teen and young woman‘s magazines; and not always for the best!

I have been purchasing magazines of this type from the late 80’s to present date. For the sake of nostalgia I decided to look at a 1995 teen magazine (not the name, just the genre) then I compared it with an up to date version. The difference made me comprehend why the grade point average of so many teens in so many schools have gone down so badly.

The old magazine had 7 really great articles! They were funny, informative, inspirational and thought provoking. The health pages gave you something to chew on and the fashion pages contained paragraphs with language so descriptive and pictures so colorful it made you feel like catching the next flight to Hawaii just to buy a lei!

These article, features and other departments were written by intelligent and fascinating teens and adults who knew how to write! You got a tingling sensation when you picked it up and you KNEW you were getting your money’s worth. The magazines back then had stuff you could READ!

By comparison, I picked up the same magazine (12 years ahead) which had 4 and one quarter stories (only two of which were really saying something) with tons and tons and tons of clothes, jewelry, make-up, hair care, etc…it gave me the impression that it is what you wear that counts these days and not who you are, which is what the older magazines instilled. Their clothes article corresponded with what they said.

Not to mention the fact that along with article geared toward teaching abstinence and safe sex, the old magazines at least gave the impression that sex among teen was not a foregone conclusion. These days, they are writing articles which lean more toward and make it appear that the majority of teens are having sex!

To add insult to injury, it had the same ‘filler’ (not word for word, but with the same idea) on sex health that it had several months ago! Maybe that’s the point.

Don’t get me wrong! The lay out of the new magazine was fantastic, but it left me rather empty. It gave me the feeling of that’s it…that’s all there is to this?’

I am letting you know that I submitted queries to some of these (along with some Christian magazine, no encouragement there, some responses were down right rude) magazines and, in a way, I am glad they didn’t accept. The most recent purchase worthy issue of the magazine I mentioned was the one I bought this month and the first I bought in a long, long, long time!

I know you can’t bring back the old days, but when since had creativity, wit and intelligence become archaic? Are they saying that today’s teen and young adults don’t need encouragement from good reading the way they did ten years ago?

Note to all you young aspiring journalist: if you want to write good articles read classics as well as modern literature. It enhances writing and communication skills and aids in self expression if you ever have to write about your own experiences.

You don’t have to be a millionaire to enjoy an island get away. Here are some tips (along with a low cost plan and mini itinerary) that will have you on the first flight to the Bahamas.

Transportation

Taxi fare starts at $3 for the first quarter mile for basic service. Taxi service is available around the clock and is the best way to get to Paradise Island from anywhere. If you are traveling with a group, a taxi van will is the best way to get where you want to go and for a cheaper rate. The jitney (or bus) is a dollar and twenty five cents per person to every area of the island except the airport. All bus meet in the heart of Down Town Nassau in the Bay Street area, which is the tourist hot spot and main location.

Attractions

Island night life begins on Bay and West Bay Streets. You can enjoy open air dinning on Arawak Cay; an eatery village that hosts Bahamian food at its best! Their mid to high price range menus features some of the finest island cuisine along with live island band performances every night. On the Bay Street some shops open until 8:00 p.m. for tourists. About a quarter of a mile walk from Bay Street are the historical fort and battery – Fort Charlotte! See where Loyalists kept Spanish captives during a time when the Bahamas was under British rule!

Where to stay

You can stay to one of the central locations on the island; the Grand Central Hotel situated in the heart of Down Town Nassau on Charlotte Street. From this area you can walk to any location that is popular in Nassau. If you are a cruise ship traveler, Bay Street is the place you will dock close to – and find the horse and carriage surrey drivers; $10 for a ride!

Where to eat

For the best food on the island eat at Lums Iguana! They offer you a wide range of Island and Italian meals at great prices. Breakfast and dinner combos and entrees are ranged at $5.00 – $20.00. You may also want to stop off at Senior Frogs; a night club situated at the end of Bay Street in the British Colonial Hilton Plaza. This is the hot spot where Prince Harry danced the night away!

Where to shop

The main tourist destination you don’t want to miss is the Bay Street Shopping area. This is where everyone goes to purchase souvenirs and experience some of the fun aspects of Bahamian culture such as the famous straw market. Bay street also houses a wide variety of international eateries. as well as having some historical sites – such as the Nassau Public Library, a hexagonal shaped 17th jail turned library- and also The Pompey Museum, which used to be a slaves selling market.

Mini Itinerary (for under $1000) single occupancy and small rental cars.

Grand Central Hotel 242-322-8356 – 4 to 6 nights at Grand Central Hotel; $404 – $556

– Dollar car rental 242-377-8300 , $55 a day; plus 2.95 taxes: $330 a week (six days)

plus taxes $15.80

– Food for two for 5 days, approximately $90

Some helpful tips:

Ask friends for advice about previous trips to the Bahamas or, if you can, get in contact with a native who can give you info first hand. Be sure to pick up a ‘Tourist News’ with map included!

Purchasing tickets from the airport rather than the agency saves you at least $50 to $100 on each ticket.

Buying food and snacks from the food stores ( one located two blocks from Grand Central on Fredrick Street and the other one five minute bus ride from Montague Beach at the Harbour Bay Plaza) can also save you money.

Through out the Bible, many women are spokent about, written about and made and example for women of present date.

Here are some scriptures to let you know the difference between a Good woman and a Bad woman. That’s putting it pretty bluntly, but that is the way it is!

Good Woman

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

Pro 8:2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

Pro 8:3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

Pro 8:4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice [is] to the sons of man.

Pro 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Pro 8:6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips [shall be] right things.

Pro 8:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips.

Pro 8:8 All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them.

Pro 8:9 They [are] all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Pro 8:10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

Pro 8:11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

Pro 8:12 ¶ I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Pro 8:14 Counsel [is] mine, and sound wisdom: I [am] understanding; I have strength.

Pro 8:15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

Pro 8:16 By me princes rule, and nobles, [even] all the judges of the earth.

Pro 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Pro 8:18 Riches and honour [are] with me; [yea], durable riches and righteousness.

Pro 8:19 My fruit [is] better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Pro 8:20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Pro 8:21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Pro 8:22 ¶ The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

Pro 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Pro 8:24 When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with water.

Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

Pro 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Pro 8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

Pro 8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

Pro 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Pro 8:30 Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him;

Pro 8:31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights [were] with the sons of men.

Pro 8:32 ¶ Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed [are they that] keep my ways.

Pro 8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Pro 8:34 Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Pro 8:35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

Pro 8:36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

Bad Woman

My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

Pro 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

Pro 7:3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

Pro 7:4 Say unto wisdom, Thou [art] my sister; and call understanding [thy] kinswoman:

Pro 7:5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger [which] flattereth with her words.

Pro 7:6 ¶ For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,

Pro 7:7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

Pro 7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

Pro 7:9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

Pro 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman [with] the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

Pro 7:11 (She [is] loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

Pro 7:12 Now [is she] without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

Pro 7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, [and] with an impudent face said unto him,

Pro 7:14 [I have] peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

Pro 7:15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

Pro 7:16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved [works], with fine linen of Egypt.

Pro 7:17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

Pro 7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

Pro 7:19 For the goodman [is] not at home, he is gone a long journey:

Pro 7:20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, [and] will come home at the day appointed.

Pro 7:21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

Pro 7:22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

Pro 7:23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it [is] for his life.

Pro 7:24 ¶ Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

Pro 7:25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

Pro 7:26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong [men] have been slain by her.

Pro 7:27 Her house [is] the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Don’t let the package fool you! The Bible says, by their fruits ye shall know them! Know what you are getting into! That goes for the women too!

They mythology of the Romans taught that the empire began with two orphaned boys named Romulus and Remus, who were nurtured by a she-wolf. Their importance to the early Romans was observed by a national day of “purification”, associated with the “wolf” (Latin lupis) that preserved their lives.

Each year on their February 15, a purification festival was held which was called “Lupercalia”, or wolf festival. 2 youths (who represented Romulus and Remus) ran around the city in the nude, laughing and whipping around strips of wolf skins, dipped in blood.

Unmarried girls exposed their posteriors to be lashed with these bloody wolf hides, supposedly to imbue fertility. As part of the ritual, every eligible girl’s name was collected and placed in a large “vat” or jar, and all the young men would ‘draw’ a name from it. This gives us the phrase ‘luck of the draw’. Whatever name a young man would draw out, that girl would be hsi consort in the festival. This was a very solemn religious process.

“Lupercalia” was changed into “Valentine’s Day” and moved to the 14th after being ‘Christianized’. Instead of having nothing to do with the idolatry, it was simply altered slightly adn adapted to the new ‘universal’ religion. This is where we inherit the custom of ‘Valentine’s Cards’, and HEART SHAPED symbols.

The shape of the heart is an IVY LEAF, the symbol of Bacchus, the male deity of wine and love (orgiastic). He corresponds to Nimrod and Tammuz, and also the archer, Saggitarius or ‘Cupid’. Another name for him is Orion, the hunter. The arrow penetrating the ‘heart’ symbol represented mating. Bacchus is seen in art wearing a wreath of ivy leaves on his head during his mating rituals.

Rome is established on seven ‘hills’, and each was originally named by the Etruscans. There were settlements on six of these, but the seventh hill was a boggy swampy place, where the soil was loose. The Etruscans buried their dead there for centuries. Because the graves were shallow, dogs would often go there to dig up and feed on the dead bodies!

The Etruscans named this hill VATICANUS, meaning habitation of dogs. Later, a Roman ruler named Caligula drained this site, and held enormously popular ‘carnivals’ (Latin for flesh raising). Caligula was a devotee of Bacchus, and held orgies and drunked parites on a regular basis.

The obelisk of Caligula stands today in the center of the chariot wheel design in front of St. Peter’s Cathedral (previous page). The Vatican stands on the same hill where the Etruscans buried their dead, so it is an enormous graveyard. The tunnels beneath the Vatican have entire walls made of human bones in certain places.

Fossilized Customs 2nd Edition by Lew White p. 42

After reading this I think, it’s high time we do as Mr. White suggested and get out our. Dictionaries and Encyclopedias and do some hard-core research.

During R and R’s dirty escapades, Jeremiah and Josiah were two young men who up-and-coming.

www.goodallartists.ca/images2.htm
Jeremiah (age 20) was called by God to be a prophet and to preach. King Josiah was 21 at the time. The were very good friends, which was a blessing for Jeremiah.

The book of Jeremiah is not only a relation of the word of God coming to pass against the rebellious nation of Israel, but also a heart-felt narrative fo the personal spirital struggles of Jeremiah during his mission.

Jeremiah started out as a shy, introverted and sensitive young man who needed love and support just like everyone else. God told him his misson as a prophet would be so intense, that he would have to follow a strict order:
No marriage
No parties
No attending feasts or festivals.

After that, Jeremiah wished that he was never born! But God told him to try and have a positive outlook.

After Josiah died, things got rough for Jeremiah because the next king was not obedient to God’s will. The Israelites started following behind the paganistic life style of the heathen (bottom, baring girls like the ones I mentioned above).

http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Jer/Jer044.html#17

With prayers, tears and pleading Jeremiah preached to the wayward children of Israel so much to the extent that, eventually, he was thrown out of the temple.

So Isreal didn’t listen and they were captured, then led into captivity, and the captivity lasted until Jeremiah was in his 80’s.
