After struggling to deal with letting go and forgiving, I was reminded this week that holding a grudge does more harm to you than the person who wronged you.

There is only “wrong” if you continue to fuel it with memory, anger and frustration.

More often than not, the person in need of your forgiveness, doesn’t actually need your forgiveness, they are merely misunderstood.

In this situation, give them love, give them support and give them chocolate.

The World would be a better place if everyone ate more chocolate.

Seasons Greetings!

This year’s Christmas Party was the a huge success – every year I will continue to grow the parties to become bigger & better.

Firstly I’d like to thank all my Sponsors- I wish that more people would perform selfless loving acts for those who need it! It always amazes me how people’s generosity, even if it is last minute, can always be relied on. I urge everyone to continue in this spirit of giving during the year. The festive season is especially hard for orphaned or abandoned children who really feel the void of not having a family, but I work really hard with the support of friends and family to put together these parties for a day that the kids can look back into the turmoil of their childhoods & smile. I have also been working with two of the Orphanages (Holycross & St Georges) for three years so the consistency of having the same adults appear in the childrens lives always offer them a measure of comfort & support.

The organizers of the Noddy Party (the Round Table Organization) were absolutely
fantastic from the performance, to the assistance that we received from them because this was a charity function.  Every child had a huge wide-eyed grin on their little faces as Noddy and Big Ears rode around the arena, danced with a fully equipped marching band, played in the hay and handed out goodies to the children.

Thank you to Steers in Pinelands for saving the day with their huge discounts & helping nourish our little ones.

I had a dozen Noddy’s little helpers who played volunteer to help me monitor the children on the day of the Noddy party. Their participation and open hearts really is the secret to what makes my parties a success. Thank you to you all for giving of your time, energy and most importantly, your love. It may have only been a few hours out of your lives, but you left someone with a childhood memory that they will treasure.
It was not the food, gifts, or even Noddy’s marching band that made this either party a success, as in all the Christmas parties that I have hosted in the past, the best benefit that comes from this event is the love and attention that each child gets.  On the day of the party, every volunteer always makes a connection with at least one child and we enrich their
lives as much as they enhance ours by showing us with one hug and one smile that there is so much more to life than the material wealth that we are all striving for.  More importantly, those special children always show us the importance of warmth, love, privilege and appreciation that our own families have provided us with our whole lives.

Thank you again to every single person who contributed – without your generosity, my cause would not materialize.

Our ability to love unconditionally without expectation makes us angelic.  Our femininity is a blessing so why do more women feel that by behaving like a man, they are in fact more effective & have a stronger presence?And why is it that we all vie for a spot in that boy’s club to poison our bodies with whiskey & choke on their cigars?

Where is our girl’s club??

Why don’t we have a girl’s club with the males banging down the doors screaming to have pedicures & a luminous glow?

Radiating strength, a beautiful smile & a sunny disposition are side effects of womanhood.

Today I’m calling a truce!!We women need to end the war of judgment, cattiness, backstabbing, name-calling, bad wishes, jealousy, distrust, skepticism, and cynicism!Revoke your female chauvinist pig membership!Burn your bras (unless it’s la perla!).We are the majority gender. We keep the planet functional.

We were born to lead.

And it’s time that we stepped up to the plate.

To all you boys & men, remember, behind every great woman, is a stronger, more powerful, absolutely incredible Mother.
