When you try to insert a new record in MySQL and the primary key specified in the insert query already exists, then an error will occur and the query will be aborted. MySQL provides several alternatives to the standard INSERT statement and each handles duplicate rows slightly differently: “INSERT IGNORE,” “INSERT … ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE,” and “REPLACE.”

Using the “IGNORE” keyword prevents errors from occurring. The records containing duplicate primary keys are ignored and the rest of the records are added. In the former case, no record will be inserted if such an error occurs.

The syntax is simple – just add “IGNORE” after “INSERT”. Lets see an example:

INSERT IGNORE INTO tablename (id, field1, field2) VALUES (1, ‘value1’, ‘value2’);

In the above query, the id is assumed to be the primary key. If a record in the table ‘tablename’ has already a record with id = 1 then the above query will just be ignored instead of producing a warning. Note: Use the IGNORE keyword only during the development phase. It could cause unexpected results as you cannot identify if the record has been inserted or not.

The MySQL REPLACE statement is a MySQL extension to the SQL standard. The MySQL REPLACE statement works like the INSERT statement with the additional rules:

  1. If the record which you want to insert does not exist, the MySQL REPLACE inserts a new record.
  2. If the record which you want to insert already exists, MySQL REPLACE deletes the old record first and then insert a new record. 

In order to use MySQL REPLACE statement, you need to have at least both INSERT and DELETE privileges.
1. REPLACE

The first method is REPLACE. The syntax is the same as the INSERT function. When dealing with a record with a unique or primary key, REPLACE will either do a DELETE and then an INSERT, or just an INSERT. Now, this most likely isn’t the solution you need. This function will cause a record to be removed, and inserted at the end, which will cause the indexing to get broken apart, decreasing the efficiency of your table. If, however, you would require a different primary key with the new data, this may be your ideal solution. Here is the syntax

REPLACE INTO table(col1,col2,…) VALUES(val1,val2,…)

2. INSERT

The second method is the ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE clause to the INSERT function. This one actively hunts down an existing record in the table which has the same UNIQUE or PRIMARY KEY as the one we’re trying to update. If it finds an existing one, you specify a clause for which column(s) you would like to UPDATE. Otherwise, it will do a normal INSERT. Here’s the syntax:

INSERT INTO table(col1,col2,…) VALUES(val1,val2,…)

Regular expressions are a powerful tool for examining and modifying text. Regular expressions themselves, with a general pattern notation almost like a mini programming language, allow you to describe and parse text. They enable you to search for patterns within a string, extracting matches flexibly and precisely. However, you should note that because regular expressions are more powerful, they are also slower than the more basic string functions. You should only use regular expressions if you have a particular need.

examples:

[abc] a, b, or c
[a-z] Any lowercase letter
[^A-Z] Any character that is not a uppercase letter
(gif|jpg) Matches either “gif” or “jpeg”
[a-z]+ One or more lowercase letters
[0-9.-] Аny number, dot, or minus sign
^[a-zA-Z0-9_]{1,}$ Any word of at least one letter, number or _
([wx])([yz]) wy, wz, xy, or xz
[^A-Za-z0-9] Any symbol (not a number or a letter)
([A-Z]{3}|[0-9]{4}) Matches three letters or four numbers
Perl-Compatible Regular Expressions emulate the Perl syntax for patterns, which means that each pattern must be enclosed in a pair of delimiters. Usually, the slash (/) character is used. For instance, /pattern/.

Brackets

Brackets ([]) have a special meaning when used in the context of regular expressions. They are used to find a range of characters.
Expression Description
[0-9] It matches any decimal digit from 0 through 9.
[a-z] It matches any character from lowercase a through lowercase z.
[A-Z] It matches any character from uppercase A through uppercase Z.
[a-Z] It matches any character from lowercase a through uppercase Z.
The ranges shown above are general; you could also use the range [0-3] to match any decimal digit ranging from 0 through 3, or the range [b-v] to match any lowercase character ranging from b through v.

Quantifiers:

The frequency or position of bracketed character sequences and single characters can be denoted by a special character. Each pecial character having a specific connotation. The +, *, ?, {int. range}, and $ flags all follow a character sequence.
Expression Description
p+ It matches any string containing at least one p.
p* It matches any string containing zero or more p’s.
p? It matches any string containing zero or more p’s. This is just an alternative way to use p*.
p{N} It matches any string containing a sequence of N p’s
p{2,3} It matches any string containing a sequence of two or three p’s.
p{2, } It matches any string containing a sequence of at least two p’s.
p$ It matches any string with p at the end of it.
^p It matches any string with p at the beginning of it.

p(hp)* It matches any string containing a p followed by zero or more instances of the sequence hp.

Predefined Character Ranges

For your programming convenience several predefined character ranges, also known as character classes, are available. Character classes specify an entire range of characters, for example, the alphabet or an integer set:

[[:digit:]] It matches any string containing numerical digits 0 through 9.
[[:alnum:]] It matches any string containing alphanumeric characters aA through zZ and 0 through 9.

$_SERVER is a PHP super global variable which holds information such as headers, paths, and script locations. The entries in this array are created by the web server. There is no guarantee that every web server will provide any of these; servers may omit some, or provide others not listed here.

The following table lists the most important elements that can go inside $_SERVER:
Element/Code Description
$_SERVER[‘PHP_SELF’] Returns the filename of the currently executing script
$_SERVER[‘GATEWAY_INTERFACE’] Returns the version of the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) the server is using
$_SERVER[‘SERVER_ADDR’] Returns the IP address of the host server
$_SERVER[‘SERVER_NAME’] Returns the name of the host server (such as www.w3schools.com)
$_SERVER[‘SERVER_SOFTWARE’] Returns the server identification string (such as Apache/2.2.24)
$_SERVER[‘SERVER_PROTOCOL’] Returns the name and revision of the information protocol (such as HTTP/1.1)
$_SERVER[‘REQUEST_METHOD’] Returns the request method used to access the page (such as POST)
$_SERVER[‘REQUEST_TIME’] Returns the timestamp of the start of the request (such as 1377687496)

$_SERVER[‘HTTP_ACCEPT_CHARSET’] Returns the Accept_Charset header from the current request (such as utf-8,ISO-8859-1)
$_SERVER[‘HTTP_HOST’] Returns the Host header from the current request
$_SERVER[‘HTTP_REFERER’] Returns the complete URL of the current page (not reliable because not all user-agents support it)
$_SERVER[‘HTTPS’] Is the script queried through a secure HTTP protocol
$_SERVER[‘REMOTE_ADDR’] Returns the IP address from where the user is viewing the current page
$_SERVER[‘REMOTE_HOST’] Returns the Host name from where the user is viewing the current page

$_SERVER[‘SERVER_ADMIN’] Returns the value given to the SERVER_ADMIN directive in the web server configuration file (if your script runs on a virtual host, it will be the value defined for that virtual host) (such as someone@w3schools.com)

Create a Date With PHP mktime()

The optional timestamp parameter in the date() function specifies a timestamp. If you do not specify a timestamp, the current date and time will be used (as shown in the examples above).
The mktime() function returns the Unix timestamp for a date. The Unix timestamp contains the number of seconds between the Unix Epoch (January 1 1970 00:00:00 GMT) and the time specified.

Syntax : mktime(hour,minute,second,month,day,year)
The example below creates a date and time from a number of parameters in the mktime() function:

Create a Date From a String With PHP strtotime()

The PHP strtotime() function is used to convert a human readable string to a Unix time.
Syntax : strtotime(time,now)

The example below creates a date and time from the strtotime() function:

However, strtotime() is not perfect, so remember to check the strings you put in there.

The PHP date() function formats a timestamp to a more readable date and time.
Syntax : date(format,timestamp).

Parameter Description
format Required. Specifies the format of the timestamp
timestamp Optional. Specifies a timestamp. Default is the current date and time

Get a Simple Date

The required format parameter of the date() function specifies how to format the date (or time).
Here are some characters that are commonly used for dates:
  • d – Represents the day of the month (01 to 31)
  • m – Represents a month (01 to 12)
  • Y – Represents a year (in four digits)
  • 1 – Represents the day of the week
Other characters, like”/”, “.”, or “-” can also be inserted between the characters to add additional formatting.
The example below formats today’s date in three different ways:

Get a Simple Time

Here are some characters that is commonly used for times:

  • h – 12-hour format of an hour with leading zeros (01 to 12)
  • i – Minutes with leading zeros (00 to 59)
  • s – Seconds with leading zeros (00 to 59)
  • a – Lowercase Ante meridiem and Post meridiem (am or pm)


The example below outputs the current time in the specified format:

Example :

Output :

The time is 09:43:52pm

Note that the PHP date() function will return the current date/time of the server!

Get Your Time Zone

If the time you got back from the code is not the right time, it’s probably because your server is in another country or set up for a different timezone.
So, if you need the time to be correct according to a specific location, you can set a timezone to use.
The example below sets the timezone to “America/New_York”, then outputs the current time in the specified format:

A. Stop hotlinking

This is more commonly done with images suggesting your displeasure of this activity, such as serving up an “XYZ” image in place of the hotlinked one. Once again, replace mysite.com on lines 3 and 4 with your own domain name.

The PHP function round () is used to round numbers up or down based on their value (Any decimal .5 or above is rounded up, anything under .5 is rounded down.) You can specify how many decimals you would like the number rounded to. It is phrased as round ( number, optional_decimals ) If left unspecified, by default it will round to the nearest whole number. You can use negative numbers when specifying the optional_decimals, for example -1 would round to the nearest 10, -2 would round to the nearest 100, etc.

4. Number_format () – Formatting your Numbers

You can use the PHP function number_format to format a number in several ways, including choosing how many decimal points it will have, and choosing the 1000s, and decimal point dividers. It is phrased as number_format ( your_number , optional_decimals , optional_decimal_point, optional_1000_separator ) You can not specify just the decimal point or 1000 separator, if you specify one you need to specify both. When working with decimals, it will function like round () and put things at or over .5 up, and under .5 down.

Simpan hasil editing halaman script HTML kamu, silakan coba tampilkan pada halaman browser. Lakukan klik kanan pada mouse atau tekan tombol Ctrl+A dan sorot dan seret tulisan kamu dengan Mouse. Nah sekarangan halaman web kamu sudah sedikit sulit untuk di copy paste.

Kalo kamu pengguna setia wordpress maka ikuti langkah berikut.

  1. Buka Aplikasi filezilla, dan login dengan akun Kamu
  2. masuk ke bagian wp-content/themes/
  3. Buka folder theme yang kamu gunakan
  4. Cari file bernama header.php
  5. Paste 2 buah code javascript diatas pada file header.phplalu simpan
  6. selesai

Langsung saja deh, berikut ini adalah cara Install BBM Android pada Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, semoga dapat membantu temen-temen yang lagi nyari bagaimana car install BBM di Tablet Android Samsung Galaxy.

  1. Silakan unduh bbm.apk disini
  2. Silakan buka menu Pengaturan (Settings)  >> Pengaman. Dibagian Administrasi Perangkat, beri tanda centang pada Sumber tdk diketahui
  4. segera install file bbm (lihat gambar berikut)

Sebenarnya update software Ulangan Melalui SMS telah saya lakukan pada tanggal 29 Maret 2013. Alhamdulillah…. setelah saya mengisi materi tentang pemanfaatan IT dalam dunia Pendidikan di SMP Birrul Walidain Muhamadiyah Sragen pada tanggal 2 Juli 2013, ada 1 buah masukan yaitu untuk menambah masa aktif soal (setting kadaluarsa soal), dimana pada versi sebelumnya hanya menggunakan form hapus untuk menghentikan soal yang telah kadaluarsa, sehingga notifikasi SMS untuk soal yang telah di hapus adalah “Maaf, Anda telah melakukan kesalahan dalam menuliskan kode soal“

Saat ini telah di rilis update kedua software tersebut, dimana saja update kami lakukan?

  1. Software SMS Center Pemilu
    Pada awalnya Software SMS Center ini hanya mampu mengirimkan SMS dengan panjang karakter yang standar yaitu 160 karakter, ini demi alasan penghematan biaya kampanye. Namun ada permintaan dari salah satu klien untuk dapat mengirimkan SMS dengan panjang karakter lebih dari 160 maka software ini kami update. Dan untuk tetap dapat mengingatkan jumlah karakter yang ditulis kami merubah sistem penghitungan karakter secara otomatis, yang sebelumnya menggunakan penghitungan mundur seperti di postingan twitter maka kini kami merubah menjadi hitungan maju mulai dari 0 dan seterusnya, jadi Anda tidak usah kawatir jika masih menginginkan penghematan biaya dalam berkampanye
  2. Software SMS Real Quick Count Pemilukada
    • SMS notifikasi bagi yang belum melaporkan hasil suara hanya akan di kirim sesuai tanggal dan jam settingan, dimana sebelumnya kami hanya menggunakan jam saja.
    • Perubahan Format SMS dimana format sebelumnya menggunakan pemisah tanda titik (.) kini menggunakan tanda pagar (#)
    • Pengamanan SMS Registrasi Sakasi. Jadi jika ada saksi yang salah dalam menuliskan nomor TPS maka sistem akan mengirimkan SMS bahwa telah terjadi kesalahan dalam penulisan format SMS. Ini dilakukan karena ada sebagian orang yang selalu membubuhkan signature (tanda tangan) otomatis di bagian akhir SMS pada setiap pengiriman SMS, yang jelas-jelas signatur ini sangat mengganggu proses input data.

Demikian update yang telah kami lakukan pada kedua software tadi. Untuk Klien SMS Center Pemilu, update software SMS Center Pemilu sudah kami kirimkan ke email Anda. Untuk Software SMS Real Quick Count Pemilukada kami tunggu konfirmasi Anda. Jika Anda belum menggunakan software ini akan tetapi sudah tersosialisasikan ke seluruh saksi maka kami sarankan jangan meminta updatenya karena beresiko membingungkan petugas pengirim data (saksi). Namun jika software belum tersosialisasikan dan atau telah selesai digunakan maka Anda tinggal konfirmasi ke nomor 081327059588, sehingga pada penggunaan software SMS Real Quick Count berikutnya Anda telah menggunakan format yang baru.
