But the phrase “best available evidence” is often used manipulatively. In practice, the data that are allowed to count as evidence are curated and filtered by the very institutions that profit from the interventions being evaluated.

Let’s unpack this step by step:

In principle:

Physicians should examine all available data, regardless of origin or funding.
They should differentiate between absence of evidence and evidence of absence.

That’s the ideal. But that’s not what is actually practiced.

The term has been captured by industry.

Institutions say it’s unethical to study the unvaccinated because vaccines are assumed safe and effective — and they’re assumed safe and effective because they’ve never been compared to the unvaccinated.

If doctors uphold evidence-based standards but deliberately ignore data that challenge their practice — especially when those data suggest harm — that’s professional misconduct.

In a system operating under true medical ethics, yes:

Administering repeated biological products with no long-term, placebo-controlled safety verification would be a violation of informed consent and malpractice.
Suppressing or dismissing credible evidence of harm would be grounds for license revocation or at least disciplinary review.

But since licensing boards and public health agencies are structurally aligned with pharmaceutical interests, enforcement flows only one way: against dissent, not deception.

🚨 The Deeper Issue

What we’re really dealing with is an epistemic coup — control over what counts as “evidence.” When independent outcomes conflict with establishment policy, they’re reclassified as “anecdotes,” “unethical,” or “misinformation.” It’s not science — it’s narrative management.

On the other lies deepening hunger, poverty, and despair. The contrast between the elite and the everyday has never been so extreme—or so revealing.

According to Oxfam’s 2023 “Survival of the Richest” report, the wealth of the world’s billionaires rose by $2.7 billion per day, even as inflation and stagnant wages eroded the livelihoods of billions. For every $1 of new global wealth earned by a person in the bottom 90 percent, each billionaire gained roughly $1.7 million.[1] In the same period, 820 million people—one in ten humans—went hungry.[2]

The Oxfam GB chief executive, Danny Sriskandarajah, described this disparity bluntly:

“The current economic reality is an affront to basic human values. Extreme poverty is increasing for the first time in 25 years and close to a billion people are going hungry—but for billionaires, every day is a bonanza.”[3]

This is more than an economic imbalance; it is a spiritual crisis. Either the global elite represent a new priesthood of benevolence—or they are the stewards of a system that regards most of humanity as expendable.

The Data: Wealth Beyond Measure

The figures speak for themselves. The combined fortunes of the world’s billionaires have doubled in the last decade. Oxfam’s 2024 follow-up found that the five richest men—Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bernard Arnault, Larry Ellison, and Warren Buffett—doubled their collective wealth since 2020, while five billion people became poorer.[4]

At the same time, 1.7 billion workers live in countries where wages lag behind inflation, meaning each paycheck buys less than the month before.[5]

These are not random outcomes. They are features of an economic model that rewards financialization—profits derived from ownership, speculation, and rent extraction—over real production and labor. It is a system that perpetuates scarcity for the many while multiplying abundance for the few.

Philanthropy and the Paradox of Power

No figure embodies this paradox more vividly than Bill Gates. His foundation’s budget—averaging between $6 and $8 billion annually—is larger than the core budgets of many United Nations agencies. Through partnerships such as Gavi (the Vaccine Alliance) and CEPI (the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations), the Gates Foundation claims to have saved countless lives through vaccination campaigns and disease eradication efforts.[6]

Yet this same philanthropic empire raises uncomfortable questions about influence, accountability, and intent. Gates has publicly opposed waiving intellectual-property protections on vaccines during the COVID-19 crisis, arguing that IP incentives are vital for innovation.[7] Critics countered that such protectionism kept life-saving doses out of the hands of poorer nations, prolonging the pandemic [much to the delight of Gates —whatever claim is made].

The philosopher Michael Sandel describes this as the moral limits of markets: when every sphere of life—including health, education, and governance—is shaped by market logic, even generosity becomes a mechanism of control.[8]

Clearly, Bill Gates is not in it for the money. Philanthropy then functions not as a redistributive act, but as reputation laundering—a way for plutocrats to appear virtuous while reinforcing the very inequalities they claim to cure.

The “Useless Eater” Worldview

Behind the glossy veneer of global philanthropy lurks an older and darker idea: that some lives are worth more than others. The term “useless eaters”, once used by totalitarian regimes to justify eugenics and extermination, has re-emerged in modern technocratic discourse in subtler form. Today’s power brokers rarely use the phrase aloud, but the sentiment persists in policies that treat human beings as economic units—valuable only insofar as they generate data, productivity, or compliance.

From Thomas Malthus’s 18th-century essays on population control to the early 20th-century eugenics movement, the belief that humanity must be “optimized” for efficiency has been a recurring motif among elites. The digital age has simply given it new tools and vocabulary: algorithms, bio-surveillance, and “sustainability metrics.”

When wealth is worshiped as proof of virtue, the poor become proof of failure. It is this spiritual inversion that drives the machinery of modern inequality. The idea of intrinsic human worth—rooted in the image of God (Genesis 1:27)—is replaced by the utilitarian calculus of who “adds value” to the system.

System Design: How Inequality Perpetuates Itself

Even without malign intent, the architecture of the global economy ensures that inequality deepens over time. Four mechanisms dominate:

Regressive Taxation.
Capital gains, dividends, and inheritances are taxed at lower rates than wages, allowing the rich to grow richer simply by holding assets. In some jurisdictions, billionaires pay a lower effective tax rate than their secretaries.[9]
Financialization and Debt.
Money creation by central banks flows primarily into asset markets—stocks, bonds, and real estate—rather than the productive economy. Ordinary workers see debt rise while asset holders gain windfalls.
Monopolistic Power.
A handful of tech, pharmaceutical, and agricultural conglomerates now dominate global supply chains. During the pandemic, corporate profits soared even as small businesses collapsed.[10]
Political Capture.
Lobbying ensures that reforms threatening elite interests rarely advance. The same corporations that donate to health causes also bankroll campaigns against wealth taxes and environmental regulation.

In short, poverty is not the product of laziness or misfortune—it is the inevitable output of a machine that extracts value upward.

The Spiritual and Ethical Reckoning

The Book of James issues a timeless warning:

“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you… Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you.” (James 5:1–3)

We are witnessing that corrosion in real time—not just in the moral decay of elites, but in the despair of societies losing faith in fairness itself.

Wealth without humility blinds the soul. When billionaires speak of “improving the world,” yet live in fortified compounds while billions starve, their words ring hollow. Even noble causes become tainted when they rely on the same mechanisms—monopoly, patent control, private governance—that produced the suffering they seek to alleviate.

Theologians call this structural sin: when evil is embedded not in individuals but in systems so normalized that they seem inevitable. Our global economy has become such a system. Its rituals—markets, metrics, mergers—function as a religion of material salvation. Health is the new sacrament; compliance is the new virtue; dissent, the new heresy.

Toward a Moral Economy

Reversing this condition requires more than outrage—it requires repentance in the truest sense: a turning around.

Transparency and Accountability.
Philanthropic foundations should be subject to public oversight, especially when they shape global health or education policy. Their financial structures and conflicts of interest must be open to scrutiny.
Wealth and Windfall Taxes.
Oxfam calls for a minimum 2–5% annual wealth tax on the ultra-rich, which could raise trillions for public goods. Even a modest levy on billionaire assets could eradicate extreme poverty globally.[11]
Reclaiming the Commons.
Knowledge, water, health data, and the atmosphere must be treated as global commons—not proprietary assets. The movement toward open-source medicine and community-led agriculture offers a model of shared stewardship.
Reintegrating Ethics into Economics.
Markets were meant to serve humanity, not the other way around. The moral economy must reassert that production, trade, and technology exist for the flourishing of people—not for the magnification of profit.

As the prophet Micah wrote:

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)

Choosing the Road Ahead

We are no longer dealing with a crisis of policy alone but of principle. The same global system that can eradicate disease also perpetuates hunger. The same billionaires who donate to humanitarian causes are able to, through market structures, extract more from the poor than they give back in aid.

Whether this results from deliberate design or blind momentum matters less than the fact that it persists. The time for moral neutrality has passed. Humanity must decide whether it will continue down the road where worth is measured by wealth—or whether it will return to the older road, where every soul bears the image of God and therefore commands infinite value.

At the moral crossroads of wealth, the path forward is not technocratic control or philanthropic paternalism, but repentance, justice, and humility. Only then can the health of nations and the wealth of nations finally converge.

When a story claims secret knowledge, divine timing, or global exposure, it hits powerful psychological buttons—especially in anxious times.

5. Lack of digital literacy

Most users can’t easily tell:

a cloned voice from a real recording,
a synthetic news article from a human-written one,
or a deepfake image from genuine footage.
Verification skills lag far behind generation skills, leaving the average viewer defenceless.

6. What can be done

Check provenance: search the earliest upload date and the verified source.
Look for official or expert corroboration.
Use reverse-image and reverse-audio tools.
Pause before sharing. If it provokes instant emotion, it’s probably engineered to.
Support authentic creators who show transparent sourcing and humility rather than certainty and deadlines.

In short, AI isn’t evil by itself—it mirrors the motives of its users.
Some people use it to educate and reveal truth; others use it to manufacture illusions that sell fear or devotion. The antidote is discernment joined to verification: slow down, check the source, and never surrender curiosity.

Type key details into a search engine with “site:bbc.com OR site:reuters.com OR site:apnews.com.”
If nobody credible is reporting it within 24–48 hours, treat it as unverified at best, false at worst.

6. Trace the Motive

Ask:

Who gains if I believe this?
Is it selling a product, course, prophecy, or ideology?
Does it ask me to subscribe, donate, or recruit others?
Monetary or emotional gain is a giveaway.

7. Verify Dates and Places

Fake posts often misuse old footage or shift dates.
Copy a phrase or image, search with the word “before:” plus a past date—if the same image predates the alleged event, it’s recycled.

8. Healthy Skepticism ≠ Cynicism

It’s okay to hope a story is true, but wisdom says: “Test all things; hold fast what is good.”
Doubt sensational claims that cannot be checked independently.

9. Protect Your Spirit and Focus

Limit doom-scrolling. Read long-form, balanced sources.

The term “conspiracy theory” has become the default weapon to discredit anything that challenges mainstream narratives or dares to suggest a hidden continuity of thought or practice. This reflexive dismissal, rather than arising from rational rebuttal, often stems from a collective psychological defense mechanism: a refusal to see the world as interconnected, morally compromised, or spiritually entangled.

Consider the seemingly obscure connection between biblical figures and modern cultural norms—how an ancient custom, such as short-term marital arrangements in the story of Abraham and Hagar, persists today in religiously sanctioned practices within Islamic societies. Even when historical and theological lines can be traced with clarity, the willingness to engage in honest inquiry quickly evaporates when the implications grow uncomfortable. In this article, we examine how the relationship between Abraham and Hagar laid the foundation for practices still observed today, how public discourse is suppressed through rhetorical control, and how Scripture often anticipates the very patterns society denies.

Hagar and Temporary Marriage

Hagar, the Egyptian maidservant of Sarai, occupies a pivotal but often underestimated role in the biblical narrative. She was given to Abram as a wife—not in the full legal sense that Sarai held, but as a concubine, a “secondary wife” whose purpose was functional rather than relational. This ancient practice of designating a woman as a concubine or temporary wife appears foreign or immoral by modern Judeo-Christian standards, yet in its original context, it served a practical function: to produce an heir when the primary wife was barren.

Genesis 16:3 notes, “After Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her maid, and gave her to Abram her husband as a wife.” The Hebrew term used here for “wife” (ishah) does not necessarily confer the same covenantal permanence associated with matrimonial unions such as that of Isaac and Rebekah. This distinction is critical. While Hagar was elevated above servant status, she was not given the inheritance rights due a full wife. Her son Ishmael was never intended to inherit the promises made to Abraham, a fact made explicit in Genesis 21:10 when Sarah demands, “Cast out this slave woman with her son; for the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son Isaac.”

Islamic tradition, which claims Ishmael as the progenitor of the Arab peoples, preserves this origin story and develops it into a cultural practice that surprisingly echoes its biblical roots. In particular, the concept of Nikah Mut‘ah, or temporary marriage, remains a legitimate (though controversial) form of union in some branches of Islam. This arrangement allows a man to enter into a contractual relationship with a woman for a fixed duration—ranging from hours to months—after which the union is dissolved without stigma. Proponents of this practice often cite the precedent of Abraham and Hagar, arguing that since Ishmael was the forefather of the Arabs and the product of a temporary union, such arrangements are divinely acceptable.

While prostitution is condemned in Islamic societies—often with severe penalties—temporary marriage offers a religiously sanctioned alternative. The woman is not deemed immoral, the man retains honor, and clerical approval can usually be obtained. Yet, in essence, the economic and sexual dynamics remain comparable. The man receives exclusive access; the woman receives compensation. This blurring of the line between sanctified arrangement and moral compromise mirrors the ancient ambiguity surrounding Hagar’s role—both a servant and a “wife,” both mother to Abraham’s son and castaway.

What we see in Hagar is not just an isolated incident of ancient familial drama, but a prototype—spiritual, cultural, and legal—for an enduring model of relational pragmatism that still shapes societies today.

Origin of “Conspiracy Theory” Label

The phrase “conspiracy theory” has not always carried the dismissive, ridiculing tone it does today. Once a neutral term for any proposition alleging secret coordination between parties, its modern weaponization began in earnest after the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963. In the turbulent aftermath of that event, official explanations—particularly the Warren Commission’s claim that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone—were met with widespread skepticism. The public’s demand for answers clashed with a government seeking closure, not deeper investigation.

To quell growing mistrust, the CIA circulated a memo in 1967 (Document 1035-960), directing its media contacts to label dissenting voices as “conspiracy theorists.” This was not simply a linguistic suggestion; it was a strategic narrative maneuver. The memo recommended tactics for discrediting alternative accounts: portray them as amateurish, appeal to the authority of official records, and question the psychological stability of those advancing counter-narratives. In effect, the memo institutionalized a method of silencing inquiry by stigmatizing the very act of questioning.

The result has been profoundly effective. Once the label is applied, the burden of proof shifts unfairly to the critic, who is now assumed guilty of irrational thinking unless he can meet an impossible evidentiary standard. Legitimate historical research, theological inquiry, and pattern recognition are casually lumped together with science fiction, paranoia, or delusion. This rhetorical device shuts down conversation before it begins—an intellectual dead end cloaked in the language of reason.

The tragedy is not merely academic. In theology, as in history, truth often hides in plain sight. Patterns that recur throughout Scripture, such as the betrayal of righteous figures by ruling powers, the corruption of religious institutions, or the collusion of political and spiritual authorities, are consistent with what many so-called “conspiracy theorists” observe in today’s world. Yet drawing such parallels now invites ridicule, not reflection. The very mechanisms Scripture reveals—the cunning of the serpent, the coordinated deceit of rulers, the prophetic call to “watch”—are labeled delusional when echoed in modern discourse.

To question power is not madness; it is discernment. The biblical prophets were, in their day, the original “conspiracy theorists”: lone voices crying out against corrupt kings, false priests, and hidden agendas. Elijah confronted the priests of Baal. Jeremiah exposed the lying scribes. Jesus Himself denounced the religious leaders as whitewashed tombs. Each faced scorn not because they were wrong, but because they were right—and made others uncomfortable.

In this light, the label “conspiracy theorist” is not a mark of shame, but a badge historically worn by those who dared to speak truth into a deaf and defensive world.

Suppressed Parallels in Scripture

Scripture reveals a divine pattern, not only in prophecy and redemption, but also in the cyclical resistance to truth. Throughout the Bible, individuals who spoke uncomfortable truths were ostracized, persecuted, or killed—not because they were wrong, but because they exposed hypocrisy, corruption, and hidden power. In our time, such parallels are dismissed as “coincidental” or “conspiratorial.” Yet the suppression of biblical truths often follows the same mechanisms as the suppression of whistleblowers, reformers, or dissenters throughout history.

Consider the story of Hagar, as previously explored. She was a “short-term” wife, an arrangement that parallels modern Islamic practices of temporary marriage (mut'ah), which itself is frowned upon in broader Abrahamic morality. The pattern of normalizing sin, then justifying it through precedent or religious manipulation, repeats throughout Scripture. Solomon’s excesses with women mirrored Israel’s spiritual harlotry—an image often used by the prophets to describe the nation’s betrayal of God. Yet when one draws a connection between ancient moral collapse and today’s permissive culture, especially regarding state-condoned sexual exploitation, the accusation of “conspiracy theory” quickly follows. This reveals not the irrelevance of the connection, but society’s discomfort with the exposure of patterns that continue.

Take for example the prophet Jeremiah. He was forbidden to marry (Jer. 16:2), symbolizing God’s judgment on a corrupt and unrepentant people. His ministry directly opposed religious leaders who claimed “peace, peace” when there was no peace. He was imprisoned and his writings were burned (Jer. 36:23). Jesus likewise stated that prophets are never honored in their own towns (Luke 4:24). His condemnation of temple corruption—money changers and religious profiteers—would today sound eerily similar to critiques of prosperity gospel preachers or religious institutions aligned with political empires. The message: when power is confronted by truth, suppression follows.

In Revelation, the church in Pergamum is rebuked for tolerating “the doctrine of Balaam” (Rev. 2:14)—an ancient pattern where spiritual leadership is used to manipulate people into sin for political or financial gain. Yet when such corruption is observed in modern denominations or global religious bodies, critics are told they are reading too much into the text. The parallel is obvious to those with eyes to see. But to the indoctrinated, these comparisons are “divisive,” “fringe,” or simply “conspiracy theories.”

Even the resurrection of Jesus Christ follows this pattern. The guards were bribed to say His body was stolen (Matt. 28:11–15), and the cover-up was circulated “to this day.” This is textbook conspiracy: an agreed-upon falsehood promoted by authority figures to suppress the truth. Yet to suggest that governments or religious institutions might do the same now is somehow irrational?

What is labeled as “conspiratorial” is often nothing more than what Scripture repeatedly reveals: that men love darkness rather than light (John 3:19), that the rulers of this age are under the sway of the Devil (2 Cor. 4:4), and that truth, when it threatens power, is almost always suppressed.

These are not fringe ideas. They are biblical constants.

Conclusion

When patterns repeat across time and culture—whether moral, spiritual, or political—it is not coincidence, nor is it merely academic observation. It is evidence of a spiritual struggle embedded in human history. Hagar's relationship to Abraham and the eventual rise of Islamic customs regarding marriage serve as one example. The persistent suppression of prophetic voices—from Jeremiah to Jesus—mirrors modern tactics used to discredit truth-tellers, whether they speak from pulpits or through alternative media channels. The consistent use of the “conspiracy theory” label functions as a secular anathema, shutting down inquiry and enforcing silence.

What Scripture reveals is not just a sacred story—it is the key to understanding the structures of power and deceit that dominate the world. From the judgment rendered by Solomon (causing the true mother to be revealed between a pair of prostitutes) to the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible is filled with instances where truth exposes falsehood, and where the righteous suffer for speaking plainly. It is no accident that the righteous are mocked, marginalized, and falsely accused. This is the inheritance of the prophets and the followers of Lord Jesus Christ.

To ignore these parallels is to become blind to the very world in which we live. The power structures today are no different from those of Pharaoh, Jezebel, Caiaphas the High Priest, or Caesar. The only difference is scale—and disguise.

Those who are justified by faith must also be vindicated by their courage to speak the truth, especially when it is unpopular. As Lord Jesus said, “Wisdom is justified by her children” (Luke 7:35).

Transcript from a Talk By Mr Galen Winsor, a man who would swim in irradiated water, drink it and handle in his bare hand plutonium and uranium.

I am pleased to have as our guest Mr. Galen Winsor from Richland, Washington. I first heard of Galen from a tape that somebody gave to me some months ago, and I found his story to be absolutely fascinating. His story is unique, to say the least.

Galen has been in 77 different cities in the last two years lecturing on the subject of nuclear energy. The majority of his life, the last 35 years, he spent processing plutonium from nuclear reactor sites. He has worked in the Manhattan Project facilities in Hanford, Washington; Oak Ridge National Laboratories and Nuclear Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee; General Electric’s Midwest Fuel Recovery Plant in Morris, Illinois; General Electric’s Fuel Fabrication Facility in San Jose, California and Wilmington, North Carolina; and he has worked in every major reactor decommissioning project around this nation up to this present time.

His major work in these projects has been in the analytical process inventory control, which means that he was responsible for the measuring and controlling the nuclear fuel inventory for these projects.

Galen Winsor has few peers in the world in this area of expertise, and those few peers admittedly know and agree with the things that you’ll be hearing on this tape; however, except for two or three of these experts, they have all chosen to remain silent for reasons which only they know, leaving this man then the burden of leading this lonely battle of exposing what we call The Nuclear Scare Scam. He is without question one of the world’s foremost authorities in nuclear radiation measurement, and he is recognized by members of the Atomic Energy Commissions of all the major nations of the free world. Mr. Galen Winsor.

We’ve been considering today how best to approach this subject so that you would feel comfortable with where I am, and we thought it might be appropriate to start with how I got involved in this game.

Now in 1945, I was a navy radioman out in the Pacific on a destroyer aimed for Japan. We had a one-way ticket (that’s all you get, just one way). So as we were becoming proficient at our business of fighting war, the Manhattan Project caught up with us and did a job.

Now the weapon that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945, was a U-235, a fully enriched U-235 weapon, where the material was separated and purified in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The one that was dropped August 9th on Nagasaki was a plutonium weapon made at Hanford. But to those of us out in the Pacific, it was quite interesting. It had a ticket on it that said, “You get to go home.” I was impressed.

Now I was stuck out on Guam after the hostilities quit and was running a radio broadcast that communicated with 4500 ships…, quite a few to listen to every dot and dash that I made, so I was used to having people listen to me. They couldn’t see me, but they could sure hear me. I had all of the good messages that were to come to them. Fleet movements to Red Cross messages. They came along one day and said, “We’d like to have radiomen to Eniwetok for the atomic bomb test.” Not me. No way. I want to go home. So they went through and they took every third radioman to go to Eniwetok. I didn’t go. They let me come home.

But I wanted to go home. I had a driving need within me that said, “Hey, that big firecracker—I want to know how it works. I want to know everything about how it works.”

So, back to the ranch in Nevada where I grew up and stacked hay all summer, gained back the 40 pounds I lost out there in the islands and went to Brigham Young University in fall of 1946 in chemistry classes. Dr. Joseph Nichols could make an old farm kid like me love chemistry. I hadn’t had any chemistry in high school, but the way Joe Nichols taught it, I wanted to know. So chemistry it was. And some neat guys like Carl Eyring [?] taught me physics.

Along in ‘47 I ran across a cute blonde from Richland, Washington. Now this girl had been a telephone operator for General Leslie Groves and Enrico Fermi on the Manhattan Project. She got to put through the calls to Franklin Delano Roosevelt for these guys. So she talked personally to FDR, and she told me some of the stories like you never heard. She said, “Oh, in those canyons, great things are done.” This cowboy from Nevada couldn’t even imagine what she was talking about.

Well, in 1947, after we were married (I ran until she caught me),… we went to Richland, Washington, for the first time in September of 1947. I saw that those buildings she was talking about were there—1,000 feet long, 11 stories high (five of them below ground)—tremendous things. And people all over Camp Hanford—in those days was a whole army camp just there to secure that place, to provide security—thousands of soldiers. You move around in the desert and out of a foxhole would pop a soldier with a gun in his hand. There wasn’t any horsing around; it was all business.

Back to school. In 1950, I applied for a job up there before I had graduated and they were in such bad need of chemists, I had a job before I had my degree. And so in the last year of [courses for my chemistry degree], mostly English, I did [my homework] on a bus riding 25 miles to work in the morning and 25 miles back at night. I did grammar and business writing and all those things on that bus.

But in September of 1950, I got into this thing called plutonium processing when we did it barehanded, without instruments, without coveralls. We had some of the most peculiar acid burns on some of the shirts. I found one of those the other day. It’s got acid burns all up the front of it. Plutonium on it, too. Amazing. That was normal operation in those days.

We ran those facilities and we ran them so well that by 1965, we had separated enough plutonium when it only existed in the parent uranium matrix to a half of a single weight percent, 0.005 weight fraction of plutonium maximum in that fuel, and we processed enough tons of uranium to recover enough plutonium by 1965 to meet the weapons needs of this country 10 times over for the foreseeable future.

Now we’re talking about a massive amount of work. Hands on. “Do it” type thing. Now there were a couple thousand of us and we were as happy as could be, just working like mad, making those plants run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a community that ran on shift work—A, B, C, and D shift. The whole community that way—a wartime community—people dedicated to doing a job and we were doing it. And we did it well. No pretense.

[At some point], they began to sneak in people who wanted a radiation monitor behind every reactor operator. Why? We knew how to make these things run. When we got a metal fuel element stuck and it fell back on the trampoline back to the reactor we’d go back in with our feet and kick it off into the pool—smoking, burning. If you didn’t have an instrument, you didn’t know it was too hot, so you just went in and kicked it.

Finally, along came a rule maker that said, “Thou shalt not do that. You’ll get burned.” Oh? I didn’t get burned when I did it last week. But you exceeded the limit. Well, where did this limit come from? Turns out that in 1934, the International Commission on Radiation Protection fabricated a limit for x-rays. It was no longer permissible to be burned by them, erythema (reddening of the skin). You now had to keep a limit of 0.2 R per day. How much is that? Well, you gotta have one of these Beckman instruments to read it and you have to keep time of exposure. There are four requirements on this thing—the size of the source (therefore the strength of the source), the distance from the source, the time of exposure, and the intervening shielding to keep from getting burned.

Oh, fine. We’ve been doing this thing for years now and we’ve never gotten burned, so now why have we got these rules? They said, “Yours is not to ask questions, yours is to do and die. Don’t you ask questions. If you do, you might disappear.” Those who broke the rules didn’t appear the next day. Military rule? Oh, yes. Absolute? What was your appeal? The people you were working with one day, when they weren’t there the next day, you didn’t go and inquire why. You were just grateful you still had your work to do, and you kept right on doing it. Now this is in the United States of America.

Well, in 1960, we found out that the materials we were working with, the things we called “high-level waste,” that if you waited three years, these million-gallon tanks that high-level waste went into boiled off 15,000 gallons of water a day. Fairly hot? Oh, yes. This material, if it ever broke a line, would seal itself off in the ground within about a foot, make its own glass. It wasn’t going to go anyplace. We did that a time or two (accidentally, of course).

And so we started packing this cesium-137 in casks and railroad cars like that and shipping it to Oak Ridge, Tennessee. And they took it out and made it into a barium titanate and pressed it into a pellet, and those these were so hot that they actually glowed in the dark from the infrared heat. Now thermoionic conversions came along at this time, so you hooked these little heat sources up to thermionic converters and you took electricity out the side. No moving parts. These things went into the SNAP [Systems Nuclear Auxiliary Power] program and these early SNAP power generators are what power the underwater power transmitters for our nuclear navy. We’ve got a regular roadmap under the sea. All you gotta have is an instrument that knows where to find it and then you’ve got eyes on the submarine. You didn’t know that, did you? The power of it came from this material that they now call waste.

We processed that stuff and packaged it outside at Hanford. We had rules that said 3 R per year, your allowable exposure, that amount of gamma energy that will expose a film pack, but that was for the people that didn’t know. We weren’t about to follow those rules. We just went ahead and did the job. They sent around an investigation slip that says, “Your dosimeter was overexposed two weeks ago. What did you do?” And they had a cute little form on it that says, “Accidentally exposed to light” and that was the one I always used to check. Because it’s the same amount of light. You know, if you get gamma through the film pack, it’s the same amount of light as you get when you click the lens on a camera. They wanted to limit us to that and one day we looked up and they had. They had limited us to that amount of exposure. Then the fun part of the game begins. You say, “Who limited us to that?” Are they powerful? Yeah, they control the purse strings. They live by the Golden Rule: Them that’s got the gold makes the rules. If you like your work, you keep the rules. If you don’t keep the rules, you disappear. Sure enough, some of us disappeared. Some of my friends? Gone. Where’d they go? I don’t know.

Well, two years ago I started traveling for the American Opinion Speakers’ Bureau, and one of the documents that they had was Major Jordan’s diary. A story of shipping the technology and the materiel that was developed at Hanford in 1944 directly to Russia on US Air Force planes out through Great Falls, Montana, and Fairbanks, Alaska, under the auspices of one Harry Hopkins and with the at least tacit approval of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Now what are you gonna do? That thing that we had been doing and feeling so good about had been shared at no expense with Russia. You go back and you check the record and you find Russia did not develop their own nuclear atomic weapon until 1949, even when we supplied them the material and the knowledge—four years after we touched them off at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We weren’t happy with that. We were just happy doing our job.

Well, in 1965, General Electric was ready to leave Hanford. I’d worked for General Electric for that 15 years and they took me out to California, San Jose, and we had in mind to design and build this nuclear fuel reprocessing plant at Morris, Illinois. They told me they were going to build it at San Luis Obispo, that’s how they got me away from Hanford. But that was just to get me away from Hanford.

I got to design the sampling analytical system for this plant. The sample cell was the hydraulic heart of this place. I got to dictate where they put the columns, how high the columns were in relation to my sample cell. One man standing in front of a lead glass window could sample any liquid stream in that whole plant. It took crews of men at Hanford to do the same thing. I wasn’t happy with that, so I built an efficient system. I got to design that. I got to build it—conceptual design, detail design, build it, operationally test it. In 1973 they said, “Forget it, friends. You don’t get to run it.”

We had 170 tonnes, metric tons, of spent fuel stored in the basin and the then-president of the United States, do you remember who it was? Gerry Ford. He says, “Huh-uh, friends, no way. You don’t get to run it.” That’s when I started to kick over the traces. Up to that point in time, I thoroughly enjoyed my work. I had no limitations, practical limitations. I had all the money to spend. I was in charge of the design effort. I built it the way that I wanted to because it was technically correct. All I had to do was check with engineers and make sure that it was right and all of a sudden, I was told, “You must reduce your limits of exposure by a factor of 10.” I say, “Huh-uh. I won’t do it.” First thing you know you got the word that says, “Oh, yes you will.” I said, “No way.”

Well, that’s when the rebel Galen Winsor started to show up. And when I found out that by management conference I couldn’t get to these guys, I figured out another way. Now in this pool, in this plant, is a beautiful pool. It’s got a place to store spent fuel bundles that won’t stop. 660,000 gallons of water, demineralized, just as clear and pretty as it can be, heated to 100 degrees Fahrenheit when the outside temperatures were -20 with wind chill factors down to -60, and I found out that I could swim in that rascal. You turn off the lights at night, and it had a light blue Cherenkov effect. And this kid from Nevada that never could pass up a warm swimming hole used to go swimming in that pool. There wasn’t anybody that had the nerve to swim with me, but since I was manager of safety and analytical services of this plant, it was mine to use. Oh, boy. I found out that I could do that.

I showed some financial types one time that I could stir that pool with my bare hand and check out through the same radiation monitors that they did without triggering it. GE didn’t like it. I got a letter from them that says, “Thou shalt not tell financial types that you can swim in the pool, that you can stir it with your hand, because if they find that out, they will steal the inventory. They will know that the inventory can be stolen. Oh? Is that a valuable inventory? This same material that’s been labeled high-level waste by our current government, our current Congress?

Now plutonium is an interesting chemical element. It is created in a nuclear reactor. The Manhattan Project built eight of these reactors at Hanford. The first one took 12 months from sagebrush to nuclear steam to build. It had never been done at that size before. How could they do that? Why did they do it? To create this element called plutonium. Plutonium has been assessed as being the most hazardous material on earth. Now from the standpoint that you can make an atomic weapon out of it, yes it is quite hazardous. Because of piece of it that big (2 ½ kilograms—that’s only five pounds) is the force that delivered 20,000 tons of TNT equivalent over Nagasaki. Indeed it is hazardous. The one over Hiroshima that had fully enriched U-235 in it was five times as big. So plutonium is more dangerous than U235, is it not? By a factor of five. It takes five times as much U-235 as it does plutonium. Therefore, it is the most hazardous thing.

Enter the great pretenders. They said that five grams of plutonium properly distributed over the face of the earth would kill everybody on earth. Now if you can only get one 20-kiloton weapon to go on 2500 grams, how’s 5 grams going to kill everybody on earth?

Early on I had a fear that said, if there is this much fissile material that can undergo a chain reaction, we called it in the beginning, then if you set a match to it, all the fissile material in the world is just going to keep right on going. Totally unfounded fear. It turns out that when you’re in this business recovering plutonium, like we recovered so much of it at Hanford, we found out that if you have it in a solution where it’s less than 5% plutonium, it won’t go critical any which way you kick it. And when you get it to 100% plutonium, you’d better be careful. Because if you put it in more than a five-inch diameter cylinder, you’re playing with fire. You can undergo what is known as an uncontrolled criticality, accidental criticality. The air turns blue. If the cylinder is sealed, it will explode from steam pressure. Steam pressure builds up in a millisecond, which is about [snaps fingers] that long. Well, you don’t horse with it.

And then you find out that there were 8-foot thick shielding walls on those canyons that were put there because they didn’t know how much was a critical mass. They said, “If we make a mistake, we don’t want to die, so we will provide the shielding.” And so the shielding thing started for no other reason than they didn’t know what was a critical mass.

Well, through the years we got pretty good at telling what a critical mass was, and I have worked in a plant where I had half a critical mass in this hand, barehanded and dressed in street clothes, and half in this hand, wearing a lab coat, and I’d put this half in a pocket on this side and this half in a pocket on this side and walk down the hall. If those two ever got together, there’d be a blue flash. They never got together because I was in between them. And we’d do that every day. And each half had definite dimension characteristics, and so we’d take them down and pass them one half at a time and they’d measure it and say, “Yeah, that one passed.” And then we’d pass the other half, and that one will pass too, but they were carefully put in separate bird cages so that they couldn’t get together accidentally. Well, those of us who worked with it enjoyed it. We knew what we were doing. We worked at it.

When the President of the United States decided not to operate that fuel reprocessing plant, I started scrambling to find out what was going on. Many things have been done in the name of health and safety. Don’t get burned; you gotta have a safety record; you have to be safer than anybody else. We were already safer than anybody in the whole world. Well, you can’t afford to get burned with this. You gotta enforce the limits and you gotta keep it, and I said, “Hey, that’s not what the ballgame is at all. I’ll bet you the ballgame is something else.”

And in 1982, when the congress passed the Nuclear Waste Policy Act in 1982, a guy by the name of Mo Udall, I don’t know whether you people in Arizona have ever heard of him or not, authored that bill. It’s called the High-Level Waste Disposal Act of 1982. The material he called waste is the reusable uranium fuel that I had been working on for 32 years. Needless to say, Mo Udall and I do not agree on whether that material is waste or not.

The name of the game, then, is “Who Owns the Plutonium and How Much is it Worth?” The government says to bury it 3000 feet deep into salt and we’ll hold a contest among the states to see who gets to bury it. Oh? Why do you want to bury it? Did you ask the owners? Who is the owner of the plutonium? May I submit that it’s most likely the nuclear power ratepayer. He is paid for the mining, the fabrication of the parent uranium, power generation, and is being charged in advanced for its burial. If you’re paying for it, to whom does it belong? How much is it worth? In inflated dollars, a ton of reusable uranium fuel contains useful metal isotopes are worth upwards of $10 million a ton. Mo Udall says it’s high-level waste. The value of reusable uranium fuel scheduled for permanent disposal probably exceeds the national debt.

Naturally occurring plutonium quantities. You know, plutonium does occur naturally. Plutonium 244 is found at the residual activities of the several, eight at least, Oklo phenomenon reactors across the world, the first one found at Gabon, Africa. Naturally occurring plutonium quantities have been enhanced by transmutation of uranium. That’s the reason we built reactors in the first place. Our ability to detect and measure emissions from these elements is useful in inventory control. When fissile isotopes are present at less than five weight percent, plutonium-239 equivalent and the heavy metal oxide matrix is stored dry in air. It has no critical mass. Remember we talked about shielding because they didn’t know what a critical mass was? If it is light water reactor fuel, at less than 5% equivalent fissile content, you can handle it. You can do anything you want with it. You can stack it up. You can have a roomful. You can have a handful. As long as you keep it dry, it will not sustain a chain reaction. What then is all this folderol about a little bit, 5 grams, will kill everybody in the world? Huh-uh. They don’t know what they’re talking about. And when they say that, they’re thumbing their nose at measurement experts like Galen Winsor. I am insulted when they say those things and get away with it because it has no bearing on the truth.

[This reactor fuel] cannot be mishandled. It will not expose any person to an unshielded nuclear reaction. In other words, no controls are necessary except to prevent the pilferage of the inventory. Have you got that one? Let it register. Do you need governmental rules and regulations and instructions? No way! Then why do we have all of those rules? Inventory control practices capitalized on the fear of undereducated masses who work in the industry. I didn’t say anything about ordinary people, now. I’m talking about the people who have worked in the industry, and those who cast stones from without. The Ralph Naders, the Jane Fondas.

Now it doesn’t take you much thinking to find out that maybe the industry is the source of the problem. The industry is the one that made up the committees that made the rules that the Congress enforced. You ever thought of it that way? The strangest kind of featherbedding that’s ever been dreamed up? It makes railway engineers look like pikers. The only amounts of fissile process materials that are of health concern to the handlers are those that can accidentally cause an unshielded nuclear chain reaction or that will cause erythema from the shortest wavelength, highest frequency, and therefore the most easily shielded ultraviolet light emissions of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Big words. Let’s see what they mean. The emissions from uranium, plutonium, cesium, all of those things are only important if you assemble an amount that if you get this amount and this amount together it can go critical. You can get a blue flash and therefore get burned and that’s happened 34 times in the business, and eight men have died as a result of that. Accidental criticality. Documented in Los Alamos document 3611, if you want to check the source. Or if you got enough of it together that it’s giving off ultraviolet light of this particular wavelength and frequency, without any intervening shielding, enough to burn you—sunburn you—erythema, reddening of the skin. If it’s less than that, if the effect is less than that, then what is the problem? Excessive government regulation. That’s what the problem is.

Tritium. Heavy water. Deuterium is hydrogen-2, tritium is hydrogen-3. If you let an inventory get away from you, what’s going to happen to it out in the biosphere? Nothing other than it will become diluted and join the naturally occurring inventory of tritium, because tritium is created in the upper atmosphere by sunlight. We have a natural inventory of tritium. Then the only thing that happens when you release tritium, which is the trigger mechanism for bombs—it’s the source of the push that makes it go—is that you lost a valuable inventory. Then what of these people that are pretending that a little bit of tritium is going to do you in? It is not so.

What are those two points? Only if it is an economically recoverable concentration or if it has a natural reconcentration mechanism. You know there isn’t any one of the radioisotopes out there that has a meaningful level of reconcentration in any of the species, not even the oysters in the bays in Maryland below Calvert Cliffs? Hmm. Why then are we still playing this game that any amount of this material is of hazard?

Reusable uranium fuel, which has been isotopically enhanced in power-producing reactors, is a valuable national resource, not a high-level waste. The utility operators recognize the future worth of this commodity. Mo Udall, in that Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982 imposed a tribute of a mil/kilowatt hour, a dollar per megawatt hour, on all electricity produced in a nuclear plant so that they can research and develop methods to throw it away.

Why do the utilities willingly pay this amount to the Secretary of Energy to limit their liability exposure? Who pays that amount anyway? The consumer of nuclear-generated power. You have no choice, and therefore, I call it a tribute. At the same time, they have provided their own storage basins at these reactors at ratepayers’ expense to retain ownership control of the plutonium resource. So you consumer, you ratepayer, you taxpayer, are paying for the storage of this fuel, and WNP-2 at Hanford has storage that will take them through the turn of the century and yet every day they are paying a tribute to the Secretary of Energy with the concurrence of the United States Congress and signed by the President of the United States in 1982, 1983. Who was that? Ronald Reagan.

They have provided those storage basins at ratepayer expense to retain ownership control of the plutonium resource. I started playing a game one day, seven years ago. I said, “Okay, Portland General Electric. You got the Trojan reactor; you got a storage basin problem. I’m gonna make you an offer.” I made them an offer that says, I will take all of your spent fuel, FOB your basin, if you will give it to me. In other words, I will take it off your hands at no expense to you. I will ship it. I will store it. I will do everything that needs to be done to that fuel. And you know what they told me? Can I quote them? “Go to hell, Galen Winsor. We value it more valuable than platinum or gold. We’re going to play the plutonium futures ourselves.”

Now where did I learn that the name of the game is “Who Owns the Plutonium and How Much Is It Worth?” The first plutonium I saw was in a glass tube on the newsreel when I got back from the Pacific in 1946 and that that they had in a glass test tube they said was worth half a million dollars. Certainly they had less than 5 grams of plutonium in that tube. That’s pretty expensive stuff. And so for the show, they put a pot underneath it in case they dropped it. They said, we don’t want to have to pick it up out of the rug.

When we decided, when it was decided for us, not to operate this plant, plutonium was guaranteed and backed by the federal government at $43/gram. That’s quite a price drop, don’t you think? When that price guarantee went away in October of 1971, the price of plutonium became $10/gram. It steadily went down to where its present worth on the market is minus $2/gram per year. That’s what it costs you to hold on to a plutonium inventory on a material that has been declared worthless by the utility owners and rubber-stamped by the Congress of the United States and they’re spending billions of dollars building holes in ordinary rock so that they can throw it away, dispose of it.

Okay. What are you gonna do with it? Reusable uranium fuel may be properly stored in air-cooled dry storage in a cost-effective manner. Newchem in Germany offers this immediate and long-term option as a necessary and safe step prior to reprocessing. They’re doing it in Europe. At least four regionally located facilities are available in the United States where this concept can be used right now: Barnwell Nuclear Fuel Plant in South Carolina; Midwest Fuel Recovery Plant in Morris, Illinois (this one); Nuclear Fuel Services in Upstate New York; and REDOX Processing Plant at Hanford, Washington. These fully shielded, already radioactively contaminated storage areas have secure limited access. All have been operated under processing conditions of 10 CFR 50 and the MFRP has a 10 CFR 70 storage license, the only licensed storage facility away from a reactor in the United States. It singly, all by itself, is capable of storing all the reusable uranium fuel that needs to be moved away from power reactors for the remainder of this century. We had that storage designed in 1975 and had the approval of the design. Why then are you spending money over here in New Mexico on the Waste Isolation Project? Why are you spending money at Hanford at the Basalt Waste Isolation Project? Why are you spending money at Beatty, Nevada, for storage when I can already store it in this building that’s already built? I just named you three others that can do the job all by themselves too, and I know where there’s 14 more buildings that can do it.

REDOX (The Reduction Oxidation Plant)and other excess facilities at Hanford are capable of dry storing all commercial ruthenium fluoride (RuF6) until plutonium recycle, at least through 5% enrichment is reestablished, or until the 22nd century, whichever comes first. RuF6 can be cost-effectively stored in existing facilities. Where does Mo Udall come off then saying that you cannot use this plan for its intended purpose unless it is owned by the United States government? He has said that.

The waste isolation projects are politically mandated wasting of national energy and construction resources. Plutonium proliferation by diversion of stored reusable uranium fuel is of minor importance compared to global availability of fully enriched uranium by laser isotopic separation. Let me explain that last thing that I said. Jimmy Carter said you can’t ship plutonium to India, but in the same paragraph said you may ship them fully enriched uranium. Oh, Jimmy Carter. That peanut brain. What did he just say? He says that when the Israelis took out the reactor in Iraq they had fully enriched uranium from France. And they said, those rascals, those Iraqis, are going to take that fully enriched uranium, put it in that reactor, irradiate it to plutonium, and therefore have to recover the plutonium in a plant like this, and we stopped them. When the fully enriched uranium makes a better weapon than the plutonium in the first place.

Now when the President of the United States says things like that, and when the press gives it credibility, I get insulted. And right after I get insulted, I get angry. And I’ve been angry for quite a while now. And finally one day, I said, “My own personal security is not important. I think I’ll go tell this tale.” All I want is to tell my story. The commodity that I communicate is called truth. And so then I ask you a question, a very brief, pointed question: Who owns the plutonium, and how much is it worth? Then I’m going to attach onto that a question I want you to think about until we talk again. If you haven’t been burned by this particular source of radiation, what is your problem? You obviously have one. Otherwise, you would join with me in telling the truth about this particular commodity. And so yes, I’m recruiting helpers. What happened to the guys who taught me the business? Thousands of them. The hands-on business. Where are they? They’re still there. Why don’t they talk? Who are the “they” that say, “This is the way the business is going to be run whether it makes sense or not”?

The Nuclear Scare Scam—Part 2 (Interview)

Q [Questioner]: We’re back with Galen Winsor and we’re talking about the nuclear scare scam. Galen, it seems to me that from what I’ve heard you say, that this scaring of the people is better than a lock and key to keep this stuff out of the hands of those who might be interested in investigating and keeping this valuable material hidden for just an elite few.

GW [Galen Winsor]: This is probably the way that it works best, and so then the secret was to keep from letting other people know that it could be handled because first of all, we weren’t accepted by the community, and the materials that we were working with, they feared. But there were a certain few people that realized its real worth, its potential to be used in ways other than to support our national defense.

Q: Let me ask you a question, Galen. Are you worried, do you have reason to be worried about your personal safety? Because the kind of people that you’re describing here are powerful people and if you’re still around, I wonder how much longer we can expect you to be in this game.

GW: Well, on the 13th of December last year, the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) Region 5 turned out a federal SWAT team to get me on a federal warrant issued by Bob Thomas out of Walnut Creek, California. It was kind of funny in a way. They turned out this federal SWAT team at Hanford. They had my picture and alongside it says, “This is an irrational individual. He poses a threat to our security. Take aim at any cost.” Now the reason that I’m still here only has one logical conclusion. I have lots of help.

Q: Well, you’ve told us about how that you and others of your friends and colleagues have handled many times this so-called deadly nuclear energy material that the whole world is so scared of. Why weren’t you afraid of it?

GW: Because we did silly things like recover some of the undissolved fuel elements out of the REDOX dissolver that burned a hole in it and we went in and sampled these things by remote process. We got it out into our hands and found out that we could walk around the lab with them barehanded and they wouldn’t hurt us. And we were standing there in the lab tossing them back and forth—uranium metal that wouldn’t dissolve in the boiling nitric acid. Well, if you find out that you can play with it, and it was only 90 days since that thing came out of the reactor and it doesn’t burn you, why should you be afraid of it?

Q: So in other words, you’re telling me that you learned to not be afraid of it because of practical use and application and hands-on experience.

GW: Hands on. We might even have been playing games.

Q: Okay. You say that you swam in this water that was straight from spent fuel used to cool that fuel. And you swam in it.

GW: Yeah.

Q: You told me earlier that you went a little bit beyond that. Would you share a little bit of that story?

GW: Well, swimming in it didn’t have the desired effect. So I decided that I had to be more direct with these people that were giving me trouble. They were kind of hard to teach, so I went to drinking a glass of it a day. I had a bottle of it. The last time I went swimming I filled a 2-liter bottle with water and washed it off on the outside in the shower when I washed me off on the outside so that we didn’t tattletale. You know, with radioactive material, just a trace is a tattletale, so you gotta get it off so they don’t know that you’ve been swimming in the pool and drinking the water. So I took this bottle in and set it on my desk. Who would suspect that the manager of safety and analytical service had a bottle of spent-fuel-pool water sitting on his desk, and he drank a glass of it every day?

Q: And this was unheard of?

GW: Nobody ever did that crazy stunt before.

Q: How has that affected you, Galen?

GW: Well, as near as I can tell, it made me about 6 foot 4 in my cowboy boots, 210 pounds, and really quite a nice fellow.

Q: All right. What then happened as a result of your doing this strange experiment on your desk with this water? What was the result?

GW: Can corporations have a heart attack? I think General Electric had one. Because after they ran me through a whole-body gamma scan in December of 1974, by the time I got out, because I had a plutonium lung burden and it took 45 minutes to an hour to count that, everybody onsite knew that the manager of safety had been swimming and drinking in the swimming pool, the spent fuel storage pool. That cesium-137 had a ferociously high level, even exceeded the NRC’s limit, and I had been drinking it? They knew the fat was in the fire. Now where do we go from here? Well, first of all I got a poison pen letter from the people in San Jose, and they said, “Thou shalt not do those things. They’ll find out that the inventory can be stolen.” Well, that didn’t sit very well with this cowboy because nobody tells me what to do, particularly when what I do is right and hasn’t harmed me. Who are they to tell me what I want to do? This didn’t set very well. I was going to do something about that.

Q: What was your motive in this?

GW: Correct information. As an expert in the measuring system, it was very obvious that I knew the parameters of inventory control, the disintegration rate of each of these isotopes, how to measure them. That’s how we regulated our inventory. And to have these rascals come along and start playing games with the information that I was very expert in, that I had designed the analytical system for this plant around, disturbed me a little bit. No, it made me fighting mad, and I got angry, and I have to admit in retrospect that for the next five or six years, I was more than angry, I was hard to live with. Just ask my wife.

Q: Well, in your estimation then, how dangerous is a nuclear reactor plant?

GW: A nuclear reactor plant is just a way to boil water that’s the cleanest, neatest, most economical way to boil water that you’ve ever seen. And so in my estimation, nuclear reactors ought to be insured under the same insurance policy as any other steam boiler plant, power generating plant, and to have special consideration under the Price-Anderson Act, that means that the insurance industry has already paid off the Congress so that they can have a rip off, charging ever and higher and higher insurance premiums, total coverage much, much greater for a nonexistent risk. What a racket.

Q: Can a nuclear plant explode?

GW: Only like any other steam plant, like Laughlin, Nevada, had a steam explosion. It’s a coal-fired plant, but six men were killed there last year. That could happen at a nuclear plant, but as far as an atomic explosion? Good heavens, no. No way.

Q: What kind of accidents can actually happen at a nuclear reactor generator plant?

GW: You could lose your moderator, and the reactor would shut down, the control rods would stick in and you wouldn’t be able to start it up. You might do several things that would invalidate some of the safety controls; for instance, an emergency core cooling system. The only reason they put ECCS on a reactor is to destroy it. When you start these big babies up, because they’re so big, you only warm them up 50 degrees an hour and they say, “We’ve got an emergency,” so they say turn on the emergency core cooling system like they did on the Three-Mile Island 2, now you’re gonna thermally shock that big machine and ruin it so it can never be used again.

Q: Let’s talk about Three-Mile Island. What really happened there? We’ve heard all kinds of stories about meltdown, and they made movies on it that this meltdown could melt right through the earth clear to China, and we’ve seen a lot of scare stories. What really happened at Three Mile Island? Do you know what really happened there?

GW: Yes, I do. I followed that one very closely. In fact, I know the guys personally who wrote the script for China Syndrome and also wrote the script for the Three-Mile Island Fiasco. Dale Bridenbaugh, Rick Hubbard, and Greg Minor used to work with me at General Electric or the MBH Associates that wrote that China Syndrome script. Not only that, remember that was the time that China Syndrome came out, Jane Fonda story, 14 months ahead of the TMI-2 accident, it was predicted in writing in New York State that that accident would happen one year from the date that that Three Mile Island 2 reactor started up. It started up in March 1978, and it went down on March 28, 1979, right on the day, one-year anniversary. In other words, with 14 months advance notice, the industry still went along with the sham. Nothing happened there except that the owner, the operator, and the regulators conspired to turn it off.

Q: What melted?

GW: The top of the fuel rods, the third time that the core got uncovered, due to internal pressure, blew the top off of some of those rods. They have Inconel springs in them to keep the fuel pellets from vibrating when it’s running. Those things are under compression, and when they reduced the outside pressure and the fuel rods were still hot, it blew the top off of some of those fuel rods. The fuel rods in TMI-2 were internally pressurized to about 1,200 PSI with helium gas so that they don’t reverse dent when they’re hot and running for five years, and when they drop the outside pressure, why, that internal pressure where those hot rods blew a side out of some of those rods at the top. But melting? The fuel is already an oxide ceramic. It’s a pellet. It’s been pressed into a ceramic. When you pick it up and feel it, it feels like metal. It’s pressed so very, very tight and hard, and so no, the fuel didn’t melt. The China Syndrome is a scriptwriter’s fantasy.

Right here, I’ll tell a story, I guess. See, I spent three weeks on the island in March of 1981, the two-year anniversary of this particular “accident,” and Tom Hall, who stood alongside Enrico Fermi when they pulled the control rods on 100-B in October 1944 at Hanford, and I were delegated to go to the island and find out what happened, and so we did. We went over all of the records, and everything else and as near as we could tell from performance records, 51 thermocouples for instance, only one of which went over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The center-lying temperature of those rods when they’re running is 4,032 degrees Fahrenheit. And so they say things like, “Over 50% of the core was greater than 4,000 degrees.” Yes, it was. If it wasn’t, it wasn’t running at 100% power. So they take that kind of information and bugger it all up so that you don’t understand what’s going on. They give you a little bit of it. Well, the worst joke that people could dream up and they say, “You know what the NRC’s worst nightmare is?” No, I don’t know what that is. “Galen Winsor and Tom Hall in the TMI-2 control room for an hour by themselves.” You know why people that know laugh? These crazy guys from Hanford would’ve started that baby up and shown that it would run. We’d have started it up, and they were afraid of us.

Q: So there was no accident at Three Mile Island?

GW: No, they did it on purpose. Shut it down.

Q: Very interesting. Can nuclear radiation cause mutation in people and animals?

GW: If a cell gets too much radiation, it dies. And so if it is a sperm or an oocyte, why, they die. They don’t reproduce, and there are no mutations. I think the good Lord built that safety factor in.

Q: So you’re saying that mutation in future generations is an unfounded fear?

GW: Yes. And the studies of the people at Hiroshima and Nagasaki have borne that out. Those people do not have that. Now they show the immediate effects of too much radiation. The women who were pregnant, the embryo showed very similar effects to rubella, to measles, some deformities certainly from that radiation insult, but that’s not the kind of mutation that’s going to go on to the next generation.

Q: Galen, what and where are these burial sites and what’s in them for this so-called nuclear waste? I’ve been hearing stories about stainless steel containers buried in concrete under the ocean boiling for over 2,000 years.

GW: That sounds like a real story. Let me start out by saying there is no nuclear waste, only materials created in a reactor to be recovered and used beneficially. Now high-level waste is radioactive and self-heating, and so fuel, reusable uranium fuel, fits that definition. But if you disregard its intrinsic worth, then yeah, it would fit the definition of high-level waste. But let’s say there isn’t any high-level waste, only material to be recovered and used beneficially. Then what’s the low-level waste fiasco? That’s an excuse for a federally mandated, non-inspectable disposal system so that organized crime can get rid of any evidence that they want, and it can never be dug up again.

Q: They’re afraid to look in there.

GW: They’re not afraid. They don’t want you to. They’ve got rules on the transport, so that if you have an accident with a low-level radioactive waste shipment, why, you call out all of the state police and make sure that nobody looks at it, that nobody gets exposed, that there’s no spreading of the contaminated material, and it’s also so you don’t find out whose body’s in that drum. The situation got so bad that the smell of human flesh was so great that they made it so that you can ship animal biological waste in refrigerated vans so it wouldn’t stink up before you got it buried.

Q: What is, then, in these low-level or high-level or whatever, containers under the ocean?

GW: Nothing. But, you see, they were at one time dropping barrels of radioactive waste off barges in the ocean. Do you know what was in them? Not high-level, self-heating radioactive waste. Probably had a few bodies and a few guns and a few knives and a few evidences in them too. If you drop them in the ocean, they are truly disposed of. You know there’s an international trade in that right now? You can’t do it in the United States so they transship it across the ocean to South Africa, and they can bury it offshore. What is in those drums?

Q: So, you’re telling me then that I needn’t worry about boiling drums under the ocean for 2,000 years.

GW: No. No way.

Q: Thank you. I’m glad to know that. Well, one more question, Galen. Do you feel like a good portion of these men in Congress know this already?

GW: I know they do. I went there four years ago and sat down with the Senate legal staff and told them my hour and a half long sad story and Sam Bollinger, one of the lawyers, stood up and he says, “Galen, if I understand you right, why, you want President Reagan to snap his fingers and make this thing come up straight.” And I said, “Hey, Sam. Terrific. You go ahead and do it.” He didn’t take that challenge. He said, “No, I’ll tell you what, Galen. Industry likes it the way that it is.” I said, “Sam, you really know how to hurt a guy.” And he says, “Well, if we change it, what are we going to do for an encore?” Yeah, they’re fully aware that this thing goes on as far up as the President of the United States. It’s the way that industry wants it. The industry is its own problem, then.

Q: So the question is, then, what is the industry? What is the real story here? Is this an industry of nuclear energy?

GW: The industry has been ripping it off for years and years. In 1975 we knew that large nuclear reactors were dead, that large was not the way to go. The way to go was small mass-produced nuclear reactors sitting right in the middle of town, one every 10 blocks, producing power. We haven’t built a reactor right yet. It’s time that we do it. Why haven’t we? Because of a federal energy cartel. These guys control the amount of electricity, the availability, and the price and they say, “You do not have a choice.” I have a choice. I’m gonna take one of those decommissioned nuclear subs up in Puget Sound, refuel it, and make my own electricity. Save the government $5 million because that’s what they want to throw them away. And I will use it for my own power probe. Quinn Millian [phonetic] up in Omak, Washington and I are moving on that and one of these days, if I hook one of them up to Pier 91 in Seattle, don’t be surprised.

The Nuclear Scare Scam—Part 3

I’m Galen Winsor, and I thought I’d share a few hands-on practical things that have to do with this nuclear scare scam. Now you’ve heard that gamma energy, the kind of energy that comes off a rock like this, is the most penetrating, the most damaging of all radiation. And not only that, here is uranium, the parent of radon. And they say if you can measure, detect radon in a home, then it’s bad. If you exceed the EPA’s limit, it’s reason to run you out of your home, spend $13,000 like they did with Stanley Watras’s house in Pennsylvania the other day to get rid of the radon, to ventilate it out. Ridiculous.

Let’s take them one at a time. This is a rock that I picked up in Naturita, Colorado. 16 percent uranium by weight, high-grade uranium. Hot. I read a thing the other day that says they had high-grade uranium, and lo and behold, it’s too hot to transport, so they had to bury it onsite. Oh, wonderful. Let’s talk a little bit about radiation. If we can…yeah. We picking up? [Radiation meter turned on and clicking.] If you put the probe right there, the meter goes off scale and you can hear it. Yep? Hot. Radiation, gamma radiation, is the most penetrating of all radiation. Oh, is it? All I’ve got between the rock and the probe is my hand. It doesn’t count for very much, does it? What if I put the rock behind me? [Counts audibly diminish.] You don’t suppose they’ve been lying to you, do you? I suspect they have.

Well, let’s do a little bit more. I got a black bottle. This stuff comes in a white bottle. A bottle of NoDoz. You can send children down to the drugstore to buy NoDoz. All they need is money. In this are 60 white caffeine pellets. In this one is uranium oxide U308. You can’t buy it for love or money. The state of Washington sent two of their Gestapo agents over to my home to confiscate my uranium samples on the 17th of December last year.

Got a challenge. I’d like to have somebody in the room to volunteer to take all of this bottle or all of this bottle. The only thing that I’ll tell you is that one of them won’t hurt you and the other one will kill you. Do you want the white stuff or the black stuff? White stuff? If you do, there’s enough in there to kill four men your size.

The government says, “We got to ban this material. It’s radioactive.” Let’s check it on the bottom of the bottle. Not very radioactive. Let’s take the cap off. Oh, goodness. Very radioactive. This instrument will only count gamma energy. It’s just energy. Like what’s coming from those lights. Only you’re getting a lot of infrared from the lights as well as ultraviolet, energy response, and it’s very carefully damped to only discriminate it so it only gets the energy that comes to this. I don’t want it to respond to a light, just to this. It cost me a $1,000 to get an instrument that’ll just respond to this [gamma] and not that [light]. This is radioactive by any definition. Radioactive material giving off radiation that is read by an instrument like this.

The daughter of this, radon, cannot be read on this instrument because it gives off alpha particles. An alpha particle is a di-positive particle that comes from the nucleus. It has two protons and two neutrons; therefore, an atomic weight of 4, and it has minus 2 electrons. And if you grab it with a high ionization potential counter, it’ll count. But if it travels two inches in the air or through a piece of paper, it picks up two electrons, two beta particles if you will, and becomes helium gas and it won’t count on an ionization chamber. Did you know that this thing right here is giving off helium gas? Alpha comes from uranium.

Okay, radioactive material. You pour it out in the hand, and that’s radioactive contamination. Is it radioactive? Yeah, it is. Very radioactive. Now decontamination is nothing but scooping it back up and putting it in the bottle. I just now decontaminated my hand. No, I didn’t do such a good job. Not good at all. Is it still radioactive? Yeah, that’s called residual radioactivity. Now under the decontamination rules of the government, when you decontaminate someone like this that’s that contaminated, and this is certainly a reportable incident under current DOE regulations, when you decontaminate it, it has to go down a controlled drain so that you don’t disperse radioactivity.

Do I qualify as a controlled drain? [He licks his hand.] That material that I just ate is not soluble in body fluids. It was originally at 940 degrees Celsius where it becomes U3O8, known in the industry as HCl insoluble. In other words, it will not dissolve in concentrated hydrochloric acid—hot. Your stomach has 10th normal hydrochloric acid in it, so it won’t even dissolve. The stuff is so fine that it has no texture to it. It doesn’t even feel rough. So it’s tasteless, odorless, has no texture, how’s it supposed to hurt me? Because I’ve been eating this on lecture tour for two years, the state of Washington felt it necessary to confiscate my uranium samples so that I would be safe.

Dr. Fulton from the Hanford Environmental Health Foundation called up and he said, “Hey, I heard one of your guys OD’d on uranium today, Galen.” And we talked for a little while and he said, “Oh, that was you!” And I said, “Listen, I can eat all that stuff I want.” He says, “It’ll ruin your kidneys. How’re your kidneys?” “They’re fine.” “Well, you should’ve been chelated within four hours.” And I said, “You mean you guys gonna follow me around the country and give me chelating agents every four hours after I eat it on lecture tour?” He says, “We’ll give you any medical assistance that you need, Galen. We don’t want anything to happen to you.” I said, “Does that include turning out the federal SWAT team four days ago to get me?” Where are these guys coming from?

Well, here’s a piece of metal, density of 19.0. If you know your chemistry and physics, you know there are two metals that have that density—plutonium and uranium. Radioactive, pyrophoric, density of 19. Outside of a laboratory, most of you can’t tell me whether this is uranium, plutonium, or a mixture of the two. Now I said that it’s heavy, and it is. Let’s see if it’s radioactive. [Holds radiation probe near it.] Yeah, it is. Pyrophoric. What does that mean? Pyro—fire. Black on the end. The spark that just came off there is pyro (fire, burn). If it’s plutonium, I just contaminated this area of Arizona in excess of the EPA’s limit of one square mile of surface.

Somebody laughed. It’s serious. The end of progress altogether says that I just contaminated you in excess of the limit for one square mile. It’s now silver on the end. Tomorrow it’ll be black because it self-oxidizes this black color, like this. All by itself. Plutonium does that, and uranium does that. Is it hazardous? Yeah, it is. Because they take depleted uranium metal and make it into 50-caliber bullets, fire them from shoulder-held weapons. In 1976 they obsoleted tank warfare with these things because it only takes one dogface with one weapon to knock out a 65-ton tank. It’ll go through three inches of armor plate and when it comes out the other side, it’s that white hot spark that we just made. And the five men in that tank are dead. Because it’ll burn all the oxygen out of the air and burn your flesh. In 1976 they obsoleted tank warfare and you never even knew that.

They make 10,000 of those bullets every day in the United States. We got enough of an arsenal to sink all of Russia’s tanks, and our boys in the defense department don’t even talk about it. Yeah, it’s hazardous to your health. It reminds me. Lead is hazardous to your health too, isn’t it? Particularly if it’s in a .45 slug like this and it hits you right here going about 2,600 feet per second. It’s not the material; it’s the impact from the velocity. Let’s be very specific in the words that we use. This particular chunk of lead came out of a human body. My son, who’s a deputy sheriff, thought maybe I could use it on tour. That’s called dying of lead poisoning. Anything less is a figment of the imagination because it’s not soluble in body fluid either.

This is a pellet of cobalt–59. If you put it in a reactor into a neutron field, you can convert cobalt 59 to cobalt-60, which gives off a gamma. It becomes the source that doctors use to irradiate patients to 7,000 Roentgen. The total dose absorbed by radiation workers at Three Mile Island in the last six years is something like 1,500 Roentgen. Five times more is given to a single individual in a doctor’s facility. Now how do you know why I say that the federal regulations are absurd, and if you live by those federal regulations, maybe you’re being absurd too?

Now a pellet of cobalt-60 this size got shipped by mistake to Mexico, got diluted into 5,000 tons of iron. Some of the reinforcing rod came up to Los Alamos, New Mexico, and they said, “Hey, that stuff’s radioactive.” Understand that this single pellet diluted roughly a factor of 1 billion was what they were reading on a detector like this at Los Alamos, and so they pulled back table legs that were in Spokane, Washington, that were made out of the same batch because it was hot and radioactive and it would burn you. When the pellet itself could be held in your hand like that for a few minutes without it burning you. Now Christ walked the earth a billion minutes ago. If I could stretch this pellet out into a wire, and it went clear around the earth and right back here to Phoenix, a billionth of this amount is 1.7 inches of that wire so stretched out. Stagger your mind? It ought to.

Now. Let’s try a little game. The EPA says that 5 pCi/L of air is the limit for radon-222. And they handle that like it’s a real number. Madame Curie says that 1 g Radium = 1 Ci = 2.22 x1012 disintegrations per minute, and that’s the basic definition of radioactivity. How many disintegrations is [the EPA limit]? … The EPA, in its wisdom, says that with11 disintegrations per minute from 1 liter of air, you have exceeded the limit.

You know what I did the other day? I’ve been having a little talk with some legal authorities up at my house, so I took one of these bottles of uranium like this and I dissolved it in an Erlenmeyer flask with nitric acid. I have a crack in the basement floor, and I squirted that whole bottle into that crack on the basement floor in acid solution, so it’ll drive that counter off its scale any place along a 10-foot section of that crack…. When they bring the radon measurement in there, you know what the radon’s going to do? It’s going to go off scale in their measurement. [Their instruments] won’t go that high. If Watras’s house was 17 times this limit in it, which caused him to spend $13,000 and give it national TV coverage, press coverage, think what Galen Winsor’s house is like.

I went to the trouble of notifying my congressman about it. Also Mike Lawrence, the manager of the department of energy in the Pacific Northwest, my state representative Ray Isaacson, and a few other astute people, including the bankers and the lawyers and the appeal court. What are they gonna do with that? I set them up on that last Thursday, and I came down to Phoenix. I escaped the folderol. What I’m saying to you is that the federal regulations are absurd. The congressmen that put them into place ought to be fired. They ought to be sent home. The regulators—what do you do with them? Quit paying them! The taxpayer, the electorate, elects those people to go out and do a job. Why do you continue to pay them when they’re teaching you baloney? When they’re putting in regulations that don’t make any sense? Cut it out! Quit paying them. Fire them. Send them home. The term I grew up with says “Can them.” Is it easy? Apparently not. You haven’t got the job done. The majority of the Congress is irresponsible, amoral, atheistic, irresponsible…let’s see, how many more adjectives can I drum up? But that many.

Let me tell you. We as a people sent a bunch of rascals out to the energy store with a signed blank check, and we say, “Hey, fellows. If you run out of money, just go build us a good power plant. If you run out of money, come back and we’ll give you another signed blank check, and guarantee the payment out of the ratepayer’s pocket. Tennessee Valley Authority has the most nuclear reactors of any outfit in the place. Not one of them has produced any power since last August. Browns Ferry 1, 2, and 3 in Mississippi hasn’t produced any power since last March. And they don’t plan on producing any power at Browns Ferry until mid-year in 1986 at a million dollars a day in lost power revenue per plant? And held off in the name of health and safety? Now tell me we didn’t send rascals out to the energy market place with a signed blank check. They’re still getting paid. Those reactors are all fully fueled, fully staffed, and just sitting there. Who’s getting taken? The ratepayer. You’re still paying more and more for your electricity all of the time.

Now Bonneville Power Administration says that 57% availability is okay for a nuclear reactor. Main Yankee is often run at 103% availability, which means that it’s running over nameplate rating and up days out of the year that its average availability is 100%. Bonneville Power Administration and the Department of Energy say that 57% availability is okay. That means that you can let those things sit down 43% of the year, and that’s judged as an acceptable performance on the part of the government. There’s an obvious answer. Get the government out of the energy regulating business. Turn those plants over to people who will run them efficiently 100% of the time.

When we put in zero-release containment we started playing games. About the time that we proved that a nuclear reactor has no measurable impact upon the environment, that’s when they bottled them up, put catalytic recombiners on them. Some of the reactors in Texas were designed not to breathe for eight years, at great expense. Why? When you bottle up a reactor like TMI-2 does, then you get radiolytic hydrogen and indeed, they had a radiolytic hydrogen burn at TMI-2. And they moan and they groan about that, and all they had to do was open up the windows and let the breezes blow through.

You don’t need containment on them. I’m going up to Colorado this weekend to meet with the Uranium Producers Association, and they’re upset because the government is dumping uranium on the market and ruining the price of the commodity that they get their bread and butter from. But what they’re totally unaware of is that the Grand Junction operation office is going to issue a contract so that the new operator has a $25 million budget over the next five years, 80% of which will be spent for remedial action, where you take this material and dig it up. If you find it and it counts on a Geiger counter, you can have them come in and change out the whole front yard of your house, give you a new front yard and a new foundation under your house at government expense. If you don’t do it, they’ll take you down to the courthouse and blacklist your property so that you have to remove the radioactivity at your own expense before it can be sold.

Now do you know what I did when I took that uranium solution and poured it into the crack in my house? I set up the United States government, and that episode is about to be played. Did I do it on purpose? Yeah, I did. Just like I used to dive into that swimming pool and drink that cesium-contaminated water. I found out that it doesn’t hurt me. You need to find out that it doesn’t hurt me or you.

In fact, the only reason for the existence of these big transcontinental distribution lines would be if they could compete with a small, mass-produced reactor sitting in your back yard. Why don’t they want you to? Because they are the federal energy cartel. They like to set the price, the total availability, and whether you can hook onto it and if you don’t pay your bill, cut you off. That’s called power, domain, and control. And they like that. They do not want you to be energy independent. If you had one of these sitting in every 10-block area in Phoenix, you could tell the rest of the world to go get lost.

Oh, there’s another use for that heat. You could heat your homes in the wintertime and you could be cooling in the summertime with it. Heating, ventilation, air conditioning they call it—HVAC. In countries where it freezes, you could run that hot water out and chase the frost away in the spring and in the fall. And they found out that plants grow faster in warm water anyway. So you’d irrigate with it all summer. So cooling towers are called wasting towers. They throw more than 50% of the heat away.

The other morning, coming out of tri-cities, WNP-2 was putting its 700 megawatt electric up through the clouds…. And the clouds were lying all over the ground, and there was a little ice cream cone right out there, and I said, “There’s WNP-2.” It snows five inches every night out at WNP-2, and the rest of us don’t get any. Where’d the water come from? That’s cooling the heat from the condenser cooler. You should have a business right out there, an oil-cracking plant, something taking that heat and using it. Like they built at Midland, Michigan, 10 years ago and they’ve never used. And so Dow Chemical is suing the utility because they never produced the steam for their chemical plant right alongside it.

We got troubles in this country. I’m telling you what the problem is. The doing-something-about-it responsibility is yours.

Crisis shift? Bees may not be facing apocalypse but what about beekeepers?

Beekeeping tends to be more on the commercial side.

Scientists are now in agreement that we are not facing a beepocalypse as many in the media environmental activists and journalists have been predicting. Bee populations aren’t declining; they’re rising. According to statistics kept by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, honeybee populations in the United States, Canada and Europe have been stable or growing for the two decades

But the latest statistics have not stemmed the tide of dire warnings. The focus has shifted from the pollinators themselves to beekeepers. Tim Tucker, president of the American Beekeeping Federation recently said: “It’s not the bees that are in jeopardy. …. I believe we’ll always have bees. … [But] unless things change, what’s in jeopardy is the commercial beekeeping industry.”

University of Maryland bee researcher Dennis van Englesdrop echoed the sentiment: “We’re not worried about the bees going extinct …. We’re worried about the beekeepers going extinct.”

Beekeeping is challenging

“Beekeepers are indeed “working nearly twice as hard as ever,” as Tucker has said. Beekeepers report having to split their hives more often to make up for losses, entailing more work than in previous decades. And for commercial beekeepers maintaining thousands of bee hives, all of this additional work means more employees, more salaries, and more expenses.

The major driver of these challenges is the near-global spread of parasites like the varroa mite and the dozens of other diseases that beset commercial honey bees, which require a great deal more work and expense for both commercial and hobbyist beekeepers. Varroa mite counts must be carefully monitored, and mite control preparations applied at precisely the right times. Otherwise, mite infestations can get ahead of beekeepers, propagate and devastate the hives.

But the hard work and increased challenges of beekeeping today don’t necessarily translate into economic calamity — especially for the more sophisticated beekeepers who have modernized their operations and kept abreast of changing conditions.

As beekeeper and independent researcher Randy Oliver, who runs the well regarded Scientific Beekeeping blog, points out, “In beekeeping today, many progressive beekeepers are finding beekeeping to be more profitable than ever.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s economic statistics bear this out. Demand for honey has almost doubled over the past quarter century to 468.3 million pounds by 2013. Per capita honey consumption in the U.S. is up nearly 50 percent over the same period.

When demand is high, prices go up. The retail price of honey has risen more than 50 percent in the last decade, (about the same as beeswax), with total revenue from honey production reaching $2.835 billion in 2012.

Commercial beekeepers have also prospered from a parallel boom in the market for almonds, which is critically dependent on bees for pollination. In fact, as much as 75 percent of all U.S. commercial beehives are committed to almond growing, the bees trucked into California in the first quarter of each year to pollinate the to 870,000 acres of almond groves (which have more than doubled in size since the mid-1980s).

With rising pollination services demand, hive rental fees for almond pollination have risen to record levels, with prices up a staggering 428% (or about $150 extra per colony) since the 1990s.

Together with other pollinated crops, including sunflowers, canola, grapes, apples, cherries, watermelons, and blueberries, total revenue for pollination services added up to $655.6 million in 2012, the most recently available data.

Stress problems

While the cross-continent pollination treks made by beekeepers are highly profitable, the huge stresses imposed on the bees themselves helps explain the less than optimum health of many commercial bee colonies.

One result is that despite the fact that we now have more bee colonies than we have had in 20 years, the volume of U.S. honey production and the per-colony honey yield — as opposed to the price per pound of honey — has been on a general decline. United States honey production in 2013 is about 35 percent lower than in 1989.

While a number of factors contribute to this trend, USDA notes, “With proportionally more colonies being sent to pollinate almond orchards—as opposed to crops that are more valuable for honey production — a lower average volume of useable honey per colony can be expected.”

The downward trend in U.S. honey production means that U.S. beekeepers now satisfy less than 1/3 of total U.S. honey demand. The difference is made up from imports from other nations – chiefly Argentina, Vietnam, India, Brazil, Canada, Uruguay, Mexico, Ukraine, Turkey and Taiwan.

Despite all this foreign competition, however, high U.S. demand has continued to exert upward pressure on U.S. honey prices, which have more than doubled to $2.12 per pound since the Colony Collapse Disorder crisis of 2006.

All this is economics, not catastrophe. Consumers may not like the higher prices for honey, but higher prices are certainly sweet news for beekeepers. As beekeeper and researcher Randy Oliver has commented, “the market for honey is offering opportunity for those not involved in pollination. And the market for bee sales is ravenous.”

Oliver sums up the beekeeping’s economic outlook this way: “The free market has solved the problem of beekeeping being more difficult and costly these days by better compensating beekeepers. The law of supply and demand is working just fine.”

Happy Riches was contacted by a Filipina Angelle (pronounced, “Angel”) Gonzalez two weeks before Easter. She told him that she liked him and would like to visit him. She had no money, of course, and was at the end of her nursing contract. Before entering her next contract, she said she would like to come to Perth and have a holiday. Only she did not have the money, but she did have a current passport and a visa would be no problem for her because she holds a master’s degree in nursing.

Happy says he detected a sting, having been involved in an attempt to set him as a mule to transfer funds overseas that were deposited into his bank account. Information provided by Happy helped authorities break a $30 million bankcard fraud in November, 2012.

This current sting was the usual set up that occurs when overseas grifters set up a mark.

First Angelle claims she is interested in his personality. She sets up phone calls and seeks information about her mark. Then sends photos of herself at different locations. Sends a letter expressing how depressing her life is without someone to love and take care of, and someone who would love her. Angelle then tells her mark how she has just come to the end of her nursing contract and will be off for a month or until she can get a new contract for five years. While she has the month off she would love to visit her mark but has not got the money. She hopes that she would be able to sleep with him to see if the chemistry is right. Just to show that she is an honest and reputable girl she emails copies of her passport and a police clearance stating she does not have a derogatory record. Now if only she had the $150 to get her visa and medical for immigration purposes. Angelle provides a dodgy receipt from Australia Post for her visa from the immigration dept.

The mark forks out the $150 sending it by Western Union, as it is faster than bank transfer and can be done in minutes and there is not much time to waste as she needs to get everything done by Wednesday 12 noon if she is to get the cheap airline ticket. All she now needs is the $750 for the tickets. The mark usually obliges, but Happy, for fun, says that he will go you halves and tells her how generous he has been in the past and about how the girl in Azerbaijan is spending time in jail for trying to con him. Angelle, has only eyes on the money. Happy sends her $400. Angelle contacts him saying she cannot raise the other $350. After four hours, with phone calls between them and other matters, Angelle claims she is $50 short and cannot come over if she doesn’t get the money, even though she has put the rest on deposit on the ticket. Happy decides to send her $200 more to pay for incidental expenses airport taxes and a bite to eat and drink for the trip. More alarm bells ring when Happy is provided with dodgy receipt for an airline ticket and copies of tickets with incorrect dates from Brunei Airline that does not fly to Perth. Happy points this out.

On Good Friday, Angelle provides two more copies of dodgy airline tickets with incorrect dates, and insists that she needs $1000 for show money, so immigration will permit her to leave the Philippines. While Happy is speaking to Angelle on skype, he receives a phone call from a man claiming to be from the Immigration Dept, but the call drops out. Then Angelle provides a mobile number for the Immigration Dept., to confirm that she need to show the $1000.

Happy went as far as he was prepared to go. He had sufficient details to send to authorities for fraud, impersonation of immigration officials, and forgery. However, the next step would have been I have lost the money and need another $1000 or I have lost both the traveler's cheque and tickets and missed the plane. Now I will need to do it all again, and because my visa to depart was only until Easter Sunday the 20^th and the ticket was non-fundable, I cannot get a refund. If you want me to come over, you will have to help me. I will need another two grand.

People like Angelle Gonzalez (if that is really her name) see nothing wrong in scamming old men out of their life's savings.

Emails are sent to unsuspecting victims and a case is presented to capture a person’s curiosity in the hope of a reply. The people who lose the most are older men who are lonely and vulnerable to solicitation.

Typically, the vixen will be from a third world country or ex-communist country, but there are the exceptions. Naturally, the woman is looking for help. She appeals to her victim’s sense of compassion. She suffers from a lack of resources that are always Financial, but are the result of a lack of education due to:

Childhood poverty
Broken family
Abusive parents
Alcoholic or drug addicted parents
Death of father or mother, or both parents

An aborted education due to:

Illness
Illness of parents
Death of parents
Having to look after younger siblings
Insufficient money
Persecution because of race or religion or culture.

Being a woman seeking a man, she will naturally appeal to his sexual desires.

Explicit sexual pornography is not a part of this deal. The woman is after money, without being a common prostitute. She is suggestive of:

Life-long relationship

Rizal lived to be 113; Did not die in Bagumbayan

The great Malayan did not die at Bagumbayan. According to an account in World Viewer dated May 8, 2016, Jose P. Rizal lived to be 113 years old. It said that after Rizal finished his studies as an eye doctor in Germany, he operated successfully on the eyes of kings and emperors, spending extended time in Vienna with Emperor Franz-Josef of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine and in Tokyo with the Tenno.

The article titled “The Mystery of the Barclays Accounts” stated that Rizal also worked in the Vatican under an assumed name of Jose Antonio Diaz de la Paz. He became Papal Nuncio (Ambassador of Goodwill of the Vatican) and traveled the world more than anybody else could travel at that time, speaking in 10 languages.

When the kings and emperors needed a trusted person to take care of all their secret treasures after WW I, Jose Rizal a.k.a Jose Antonio Diaz de la Paz of the Vatican was chosen. Rizal-Jose Antonio Diaz de la Paz) in Barclays Bank Singapore as guarantee for the money, which was demonetized in 1967, when Ferdinand Marcos, the Legal Counsel of JPR-JAD (Jose P. In 1939, two members of the Tallano family and Roman Catholic Priest , Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz (Jose Rizal – our Hero) brought the gold from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah to the Vatican.

There is good reason to believe, even from further along in this account, that the young attorney FERDINAND E. MARCOS was involved in the return of the GOLD. Certainly by all accounts we have seen jt was Ferdinand Marcos and Diaz who shared in the enormous 30% commission- that is 192,000 TONS of Gold worth around $4 TRILLION today (2006) – for handling this transaction.

WHO CAN SAY THIS WEALTH WAS “ILL- GOTTEN”?

A lease agreement was made between the Tallano clan and the Maharlika government. A total of 640,000 metric tons of gold was deposited in the newly installed Central Bankof the Maharlika to comply with its requirement for GOLD RESERVE. Under the terms of the contract, the Central Bank became the HOLDER of that gold. That LEASE agreement will EXPIRE in the year 2005.

The Tallano Foundation has given notice of the termination of this 50 year lease following the additional 5 year discretionary period on December 31,2005 but remains unable to obtain an inventory of this asset even though the CENTRAL BANK (now Bangko Sentral Pilipinas) is no longer entitled to HOLD the gold.

Having gained the trust and confidence of Fr. Diaz, the Tallano clan made him the main negotiator and trustee of their gold. Fr. Diaz in turn, hired the services of

ATTY. FERDINAND E MARCOS, then a RECOMMENDED BRILLIANT YOUNG LAWYER having attained notoriety when he successfully defended himself in the ” NALUNDASAN CASE” in 1939.

The TALLANO clan paid commission to Fr. Diaz and Atty. Marcos in gold, 30% From the principal of 640, 000 metric tons.

In 1949, the two richest men in the world were Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz and Atty. Ferdinand E. Marcos. Between the two of them they legitimately earned and owned 192,000 metric tons of GOLD- from TALLANO CLAN and Maharlika Government.

Ferdinand Marcos withdrew their share of the gold from theCentral Bank and minted it “RP-CB”. Sometime later, Fr. Diaz and Marcos brought their gold to SWITZERLAND, in the SWISS BANK CORPORATION in Zurich.

The remaining 400,000 metric tons of TALLANO GOLD – (Prince Lacan Acuna Macleod Tallano- son of Rajah Soliman Tagean and grandson of Maharajah Luisong Tagean) is in the third floor basement of the CENTRAL BANK MINTING PLANT in East Ave. Quezon City.

There are 950,000 metric tons of Gold (decleared missing in the International Court of Justice) picked up by Yamashita from its European ally, Hitler.

Let’s review some numbers at this point because there are certainly some unexplained LOSSES along the way.

The Tagean – Tallano gold started at 720,000 tons. 640,000 tons were transported to the Vatican and back, leaving 80,000 tons unaccounted from the outset.

Out of 640,000 tons, 192,000 tons were paid in commission, which should be leave 448,000 tons- but somehow hat number as become 400,000 tons, leaving another 48,000 tons unaccounted.

Following this story there are 128,000 (80,000 plus 48,000) tons of gold which somehow ” slipped through the cracks” in addition to 192,000 earned in commission, WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN.. Opppsss!!!

Out of the remaining 400,000 tons we do not know how much remains. We know there was an effort to do a major ” disappearing act” when the old Central Bank morphed into the new Bangko Sentral Pilipinas- but a recent decision of the SUPREME COURT (Banco Filipino versus BSP) has upheld that BSP is responsible for the liabilities of the old Central Bank.

The POINT is that ultimately , a complete accounting should show where ALL of the original 720, 000 tons WENT- not to mention estimated 1.2 MILLION tons of Yamashita treasure (combined German and Japanese plunder) identified above (that is very nearly TWO MILLION TONS OF GOLD worth more than $38 TRILLION at todays price 2006)

The phony, CIA backed EDSA “PEOPLE POWER” exhibition of 1986 had one primary purpose and that was to take this vast QUANTITY OF GOLD from the Philippines and the FILIPINO PEOPLE for the benefit of the INTERNATIONAL BANKING CARTEL to enslave mankind.

WHAT ABOUT FR. DIAZ COMMISSION SHARED WITH FERDINAND MARCOS?
When Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz, died in 1974 all the 30% COMMISSION in gold became the legendary “MARCOS GOLD”. After providing for his family in Marcos Letter of Instruction, the whole wealth derived from this was supposed to be given to the FILIPINO PEOPLE. This was the “MARCOS WEALTH” that some POLITICIAN and CHURCHMEN kept on saying was the:
“ILL-GOTTEN” Marcos Wealth.

WHY THIS WEALTH HAS BEEN LABELED “ILL-GOTTEN” a little further along in our STUDY, that until today is in MARCOS SECRET ACCOUNTS.

On April 9, 1973 Marcos said: “MY EARTHLY GOODS HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE CUSTODY AND FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE MARCOS FOUNDATION DEDICATED TO THE WELFARE OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLE.”

In his GRAND PLAN, MARCOS wanted to RE-ESTABLISHED the former grandeur of MAHARLIKA and the whole region of SOUTHEAST ASIA, the former MALAYAN EMPIRE.

In June 1983, Marcos appeared before the First World leaders in Toronto. He announced his plan to boost economy of the Southeast Asia Region by creating ASIAN DOLLAR. This would be backed up by the 400,000 metric tons of gold inCentral Bank.

The ASIAN DOLLAR, backed up by the two thirds of all gold in the world that was in the Maharlika. Would made the Maharlika money more valuable and stronger that the American dollar. (The CIA – USA didn’t want this so what’s their next move? ) This was his vision to raise Southeast Asia to be par with the rest of the first world countries.

There is plenty of solid evidence of a program MARCOS worked on with American President Ronald Reagan, which referred to as the ABL (ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN) program. Under this program some 250 sets of gold , documentation and related ABLcurrency were to be shipped to various countries around the world.

WHAT BECAME OF THE REMAINING 400,000 metric TONS PERTAINING TO THE TAGEAN – TALLANO CLAN and where is it today?

To this day, the 400,000 metric tons of GOLD are still in theCENTRAL BANK in East Avenue , Quezon City. NOBODY CAN MOVE it because Marcos insured it with the LLOYDS OF LONDON and its agents are guarding it.

BUT THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT (AQUINO’S) DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ITS EXISTENCE.
Not only have SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS of the Philippines failed to ACKNOWLEDGE the existence of the GOLD, they have CONSPIRED to keep this information from being KNOWN to the Filipino People.

We assume this is because they have been working at ways to convert the GOLD for their own selfish gain, probably in conspiracy with the International Banking Cartel.

Immediately after Ferdinand Marcos was REMOVED from the office by a U.S MILITARY helicopter , the NEWLY installed PRESIDENT CORAZON AQUINO, formed the PCGG- Presidential Commission on Good Government, PURPORTEDLY to go after the Marcos – ILL GOTTEN WEALTH.
“IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO THE CONSPIRATORS THAT THIS WEALTH SHOULD BE LABELLED “ILL – GOTTEN” even though, as has already been shown, MR. MARCOS was in his OWN RIGHT the WEALTHIEST MAN on the face of the EARTH and had absolutely no need to take anything from anyone.

A decision of the FEDERAL SUPREME COURT OF SWITZERLAND dated December 21,1990 said, “By decision of May 29,1986 , the attorney general of District of Zurich accepted in principle to the legal assistance requested by the PHILIPPINES and invited all the banks of the City of Zurich to FREEZE IMMEDIATELY all the accounts, deposits or safes of the persons, companies or foundations (of MARCOS) in the order….”

THE ACCOUNTS WERE FROZEN at the request of the government of the Philippines and the PCGG has ensured they have remained FROZEN to this day.

This is all a GRAND SCHEME or SCAM. BLINDED Filipinos must keep repeating that MARCOS was a THEIF (MAGNANAKAW) so that those HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of DOLLARS of Marcos Money will remain FROZEN and not be given to them for their use.

Consequently, they MUST CONSTANTLY BORROW MONEY from International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) with SO MUCH INTEREST so that this COUNTRY WILL REMAIN A SLAVE and SHACKLED to the foreign powers.

HISTORY will show that the money was not stashed away and inaccessible but AVAILABLE to truly deserving Filipinos.

There was NOTHING SECRET about Marcos Accounts. These ACCOUNTS were ONLY MADE SECRET by some people in the government so that the PUBLIC would not know its REAL STORY.

Certain names have loomed large in history of the Philippines over the past 100 years. Without being unjust to those who made a meaningful contribution to the independence and autonomy of the Philippines, it can be fairly claimed that the names which have attracted the most public attention are those of Jose Rizal, Ferdinand Marcos, Tomoyuki Yamashita, and perhaps Don Estaban Benitez Tallano.Everyone has their own story to tell of the good work of Rizal in terms of his patriotic writing : of Ferdinand Marcos and Martial Law : of Tomoyuki Yamashita and ”his buried treasure” : and of course the Tallano Clan and their claim as true title-holders of the ORIGINAL Spanish Land Title known as OCT No. T-01-4. The writer of this article holds that those four names are universal conversation pieces in the Philippines, and few evenings pass that one or another is not mentioned in conversation with friends and associates. One would imagine that with such names being universal conversation pieces, that nothing in their life has been spared intense scrutiny, and that there is nothing yet to be revealed about their respective lives.If there is nothing yet to be revealed about their lives, then please explain, among other mysteries, (a) Where one would find the grave of Rizal ? and (b) Why are there no Japanese visitors to the Shrine for Tomoyuki Yamashita ? In following pages we try to re-visit published history, with a view to bringing a clear understanding of the role that each played in the mysterious forces which acted to promote the Philippines we know today. Of course we shall need a starting point, and because it bears relevance to what we investigate, we choose as our starting point, The birth of QueenVictoria of E ngland, on 24 May, 1819. Now the published story of Queen Victoria’s birth at Kensington Palace was not entirely accurate, even though she did reach Kensington Palace on the same day as her birth. In fact, she arrived in this life somewhat earlier than expected, while her mother, Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld was aboard a Dutch ship in the English channel, near Dover, as she sped to meet up with her husband at Kensington Palace for the expected birth.

Mark now that North Borneo was Muslim territory, and in taking his Muslim wife, Prince Julian McLeod Tallano converted to the Islamic faith, thus fusing the religious affiliations of both his motherland and Borneo, as he was a Prince of the royal blood. Likewise, that marriage interwove the fortunes of the two distinct ”Clans” of differing faiths.
Tallano as a Muslim, acquired seven wives, but still maintained the libertine pursuits of his early life. His pursuit of another Princess, and their liaison, beyond marriage, produced a male child. With connivance of the Catholic
Church, a means was found to provide for welfare of the child. Today one hears many stories of the orphan found in a basket outside the home of the Mercado family in Calamba, Laguna Province, about 50 kilometers south of Manila.The boy was raised by the Mercado family, and given the name Jose Protacio Mercado. The child grew, and proved to be extremely intelligent. He was incredibly active, and wanted to be the best at all he undertook. He referred to himself as Rex-Al (the King of all), which name soon became adapted to Rizal, and so we have Jose Protacio Rizal.
The child had been well provided for in terms of money, and while it was unusual for the times, he went to Madrid to study, since he was proficient in the Spanish language.

Spain caused him to reflect on the number of blind persons in the population,and he determined to become a doctor with specialty in the eyes. He chose to study under a particular professor, and went to Paris to join the classes of that professor, but found that the professor had moved to a University in Heidelburg, Germany.

He followed to Germany, mastered the German language, and eventually took his medical degree in 1886. As a doctor, he now sought patients. There was resistance to eye surgery, because few chose to allow anyone to operate on their eyes, but one young
student at Heidelburg University was desperate to have her eyes corrected, and so that student, Josefine von Bracken, became the first patient of Jose Rizal.

The operation was a success, and Josephine Bracken very quickly introduced her uncle, the King of Prussia, Wilhelm 1, favourite grandson of Queen Victora, then German Emperor, at Potsdam, near Berlin, who had similar eye problems. Again the operation was a success, and the fame of Jose Rizal as an opthalmologist was assured. The Emperor of Germany, grateful for the work of Rizal, dedicated the Asian Tea-house in his honour, which tea-house is now a popular tourist attraction in the Castle of Sanssoucci. The Emperor further recommended Rizal to his relative, the Emperor of Austria,

Rizal arrived in Austria in 1887, and was introduced to a Jesuit priest, Father Ferdinand Blumentritt, who had recently arrived from the Philippines, where he conducted a Jesuit school on the Island of Cebu. Since it was considered that the Emperor may take some time to consent to the intended operation, Father Blumentritt invited Rizal to stay in his apartment. In a near apartment was a young lady, Klara Poelzl, who was a staff member of the Emperor’s household. A liasion between Jose Rizal and Klara Poelzl (who was the wife of Alois Schicklegruber), produced a male child, later named Adolf.

The husband, Alois Schickelgruber, suspected that another man was responsible for the pregnancy of his wife, and he severely mis-treated the child. Blumentritt decided that to avoid further mistreatment of the child, he should take the boy to Cebu, and the mother readily agreed, because she knew that Rizal would be there. And so Adolf Schickelgruber, as the boy had been named, came to the island of Cebu in the Philippines, where he was raised and educated. Yes, it is the same AdolfShickelgruber who achieved infamy as Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler was the son of Jose Rizal, via Klara Poelzl.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit the library at
Malacanang, note as you enter, the huge portrait of Jose Rizal.
Then turn 180 degrees to see a smaller portrait of Adolf Hitler
staring across the room at his father. It goes without saying that
those who plotted the financial strategies in Malacanang were
comfortably aware of the relationship between Rizal and Hitler,
and the portraits are testimony to their arcane knowledge.

With his fame spreading, Rizal went to Japan to perform an operation on the eyes of the Emperor, and once again, a daliance with a Japanese noblewoman, the Princess Keiko, produced a male child.

The Tenno himself wrote to Rizal and warranted that he would educate the boy in the very best schools, and so the second son of Jose Rizal would attend the finest colleges in England, and ultimately become the highest ranking General in the Imperial Japanese Army, General Tomoyuki Yamashita. Meanwhile, the first son of Rizal was at the Jesuit school in Cebu, and saw his father only at those fleeting times that he was able to make a visit.

It is considered that the reported situation of Rizal’s exile in Dapitan, being sentenced to death, and executed by firing squad in Bayumbayan, (now Rizal Park, Manila), is indeed extraordinary, highly improbable, questionable, and in view of the value of his surgical prowess, beyond reason. How could a man, known as an idol and hero to Philippinos, friend of Kings and Emperors, highly intelligent and speaking twelve languages, be ordered killed by the much hated Friars, and shot by twenty-one Guardia Civil, his countrymen, in Manila in 1896 ?

If we look back one hundred years to that incident,we should also look to the famous ”Battle of Manila Bay”, beautifully painted, and depicted in many written words and monuments, but which
never took place. The Spanish ships had surrendered before the cannons of the American ships were unleashed to fire in the air. It is reported that one American died in his cabin of a heart-attack.
In that context, we pose again a question mentioned in opening paragraphs of this essay :-

Please point out the location of the grave of Jose Rizal ?
History records that the Americans who WON the war, paid U.S. Twenty million to the Spanish LOSERS of the war. Quite apart from being a lot of money at the time, it would have to be the first and ONLY time in history that the winners paid a bounty to the losers of the war.

To set the record straight, the Americans are CLAIMED to have paid the sum of U.S. Twenty million to the Spanish, but it can be shown that the sum of Twenty million dollars was subscribed by the ”magnificent seven” through a mortgage loan from Banco Espanol-Filipino in Binondo.

Observe Annotation 072 s-2-6 1898 on the OCT No. T-01-4, which reads : ”Quote” Secured by this title OCT No. T-01-4 Hacienda Mabiga embracing the Province of Pampanga, Kuliat, the whole of Bamban abd Capaz, Tarlac has mortgage to the Banco Espanol-Filipino the sum of U.S. dollars 20,000,000 to undertake the payment of succession treaty between Spain and America for the ceding of the archipelago by the Spanish Government to the

American government be eventually reverted to the real land owner, Don Esteban Benitez Tallano. Date of Inscription : February 7, 1898. (Signed) Fermin Jaudenes Y Alvarez AD, Interim Governor General, Royal Crown of Spain. ”End Quote”. That loan by Banco Espanol-Filipino was repaid within one year, and a further annotation to the OCT No. T-01-4 demonstrated the means by which the money was assembled. ”Quote”.

Entry No. EDC 073-s-2-6 1898, Real Estate Mortgage amountng to US dollar 20,000,000 secured by this land Title T-01-04, embracing the area of Hacienda Mabiga, Pampanga, Kuliat and Capaz, Tarlac to Banco Espanol- Filipino has been cancelled, and this released forever of Real Estate Mortgage has been executed by the bank in favour of the owner wth the full payment of said principal loan and an interest of US dollars 2,200,000, the payment of which has broken as follows : General Miguel Malvar correspondingly acquired the area of Tanuan, Batangas and had paid the amount of U.S. dollars 3,300,000, Don Servillano Aquino acquired he whole
area of Bamban and Capaz, Tarlac, and correspondingly paid U.S. dollars

3,300,000. General Antonio Luna acquired the whole San Miguel, Tarlac and
La Paz, Tarlac and he paid U.S. dollars 2,000,000, the land was given as a
gift to his girlfriend Miss Luisita Cojuangco. Don Mariano Tayag acquired
the area of Kuliat and Mabiga, 1,500 hectares (Pampanga) and paid U.S.
dollars 3,300,000. Don Francisco Macabulos acquired the area of Sta
Ignacia, Tarlac and paid U.S. dollars 2,400,000. Don Juan Ejercito acquired
absolutely the San Juan Del Monte Hacienda embracing up to Sitio
Mandaluyong consisting an area of 3,154 hectares and had corespondingly
paid U.S. dollars 3,300,000., and Don Esteban Benitez Tallano (Tagean)
maintained his rights, being the owner over the unacquired estate, and had
paid the balance of 6,600,000 U.S. dollars. Date of Inscription February 7,
1898. (Signed) Benito Legarda, Ad Interim Land Registrar. ”End Quote”.
In short, historical records demonstrate conclusively that succession from the
Spanish was purchased by Don Esteban Benitez Tallano (Tagean), and clearly
that arrangement had been reached several months prior to the I may, 1898
purported date for the ”Battle of Manila Bay”. The only conclusion that can be
reached in the light of such evidence, is that any ”Battle of Manila Bay” was a
staged performance as opposed to an act of war or aggression.
In that same context, we can conclude that the purported
execution of Rizal was an equivalent pantomine, and
history would repeat itself 48 years later, with the purported
execution at Los Banos, Laguna, of General Tomoyuki
Yamashita.
NO Japanese national will ever accept that General
Yamashita surrendered to the Americans. A Japanese
General of the highest order, and with connection to the
Royal Household, will NEVER surrender. Such a general is
bound by the code of honour of his calling, and MUST
commit harakiri, the ritual suicide signifying failure.

Thus, whoever is buried at Muntinlupa, south of Manila, that body is NOT the body of General Yamashita. We do not speculate on the escape, whereabouts or post-war activities of General Yamashita, but our hypothesis that he was not the victim of the gallows designed to despatch him, is reinforced by the fact that NO Japanese national pays homage at the Shrine to General Yamashita, for the very good reason that every Japanese national KNOWS that his surrender was impossible, and that some undefined politically inspired pantomine has played havoc in obscuring the true course of events.

universities, that Yamashita became the lover of lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyons, a beautiful debutante, which liasion continued after her marriage to Albert, the then Duke of York. As the fates ordained, Albert, a sickly man, who never expected to become King, was thrust into that position as King George VI, when his elder brother Edward VIII abdicated the throne in order to wed his paramour, the twice divorced Mrs. Wallace Simpson. The remarkable aspect of the affair between Yamashita and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyons, if it has substance, is that the present Queen Elizabeth II could well be a daughter of General Yamashita, and therefore, a grand-daughter of Jose Antonio Rizal..

So let us now summarise what we have constructed from a more pragmatic view of the stated history of the Philippines, at least in terms of reviewing impact on what has been referred to as ”The hidden wealth of Marcos”.• Prince Julian McLeod Tallano (brother of Queen Victoria) is the father of the man later known as Jose Rizal.
• Jose Rizal is the father of two further important figures in world history,
with those figures being the German Fuhrer Adolf Hitler, and the
Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita.
• The death of Rizal by firing squad is disclosed as a well orchestratedpantomine, equally as the Battle of Manila, and post that pseudo firingsquad event, Jose Rizal became the Reverend Father Jose AntonioDiaz.• As the son of Prince Julian McLeod Tallano, Rizal (now as Rev. Father.Jose Antonio Diaz), was entrusted wth the relocation and management
of the massive wealth of the Tallano Clan, and perhaps the fused assets
of his British relatives..
• Thus the movement of 600,000 metric tonnes of gold from the Vatican to
Manila to facilitate establishment of the first Central Bank of the
Philippines. (Recall that the Tallano Clan were the principal land-owners
of the Philippines, as evidenced by the ORIGINAL land title OCT No. T-
01-4).

• The Rev. Fr., Jose Antonio Diaz recognised the brilliance of FerdinandMarcos, and appointed him as counsel to all activities of Diaz relative tostorage, safe-keeping and employment of the wealth of his father’s Clan,that of the Clan Tallano. • It is well known that Hitler had sent his treasure ships of looted gold andvaluables to Egypt for safe storage, but when Field Marshall Montgomerydefeated Field Marshall Irwin von Rommel in the North Africa campaign,he had no option other than to redirect those ships toward Japan, his lastremaining ally.
• Fate again intervened, when the United States dropped atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, thus hastening the Japanesesurrrender, and causing Hitler to redirect his treasure ships to thePhilippines.
• With the end of World War II, and recognition that the Japanese underPrince Chichibu had stored massive looted wealth in the Philippines,Rizal, in his role as Rev. Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz, had little difficulty in identifying valuable burial sites, as he could elicit information directly from his son, General Tomoyuki Yamashita.
• Equally, he would have sound information from his first born son, AdolfHitler, as to location of the Nazi loot. (Hitler did not commit suicide in theBerlin bunker as popularly accepted, but left Templehof Airport in Berlinvia a 109 Messerschmitt, and flown to neutral Spain, where he cameunder protection of General Franco. Later, he returned to the Cebu of hisyouth, and ended his life in the Philippines).
• Thus, the recovery from several sites which yielded massive quantities of gold bullion, precious stones and other valuables.
• The recovered valuables were of course under embargo due to the
Statute of Limitations, but Marcos, with Presidential powers and
authorities, was able to influence world banks and significant authoritiesto aid and abet him in ”placing” those assets so that the inherent valuewas preserved in favour of those agreed by Marcos and Diaz to be theultimate beneficiaries. Does all of the above sound a little too far-fetched to attract ready acceptance
as probable ? Does it defy acceptance ? Then let us examine a few aspects and compare those aspects with the historical record.
• If there was no subterfuge in the ”Battle of Manila Bay”, then why was the considerable sum of U.S. Twenty million paid by the victor to the loser of that supposed ”war” ?
• While the Americans took credit in the Treaty of Paris for settling the sum of U.S. Twenty million in favour of the Spanish, we have demonstrated via notations on Land Deeds that the money was actually paid by Philippine land-owners.

• Let us now look to a document of the Philippine Courts, where we referto the Pasay City DECISION WITH COMPROMISE AGREEMENT, dated 4 February, 1972. There is mention, at page 20, of the last surviving son of Prince Julian McLeod Tallano in the person of Jose Antonio Diaz. That name Jose Antonio Diaz is again quoted at the bottom of page 18 : ”Quote”
3. ”That the gold bullion lent by the Royal Family to the Republic of the Philippines, consisting of 650,000 metric tonnes now, through Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz by arrangement of the brilliant lawyer Attorney Ferdinand E. Marcos in the year 1949, for the establishment of the required gold reserves of the newly installed Central Bank of the Philippines, should be maintained in the Central Bank vaults toward maintenance of the country’s gold reerves, and the same shall be withdrawable fifty years thereafter, with five years moratorium”.
Further at page 21 :
That the said 640,000 metric tonnes of gold nuggets transported by
then surviving son of Prince Julian McLeod Tallano from the Vatican after the World War, in the person of Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz, trustee of the Royal Family, and client of then Attorney Ferdinand E. Marcos deserves a just compensation for no less than 30 % of the total value of the said 640,000 metric tonnes. ”End Quote”.
The above LRC Civil Case 3957-R is final and executory, the law of the land, and unfortunately, under temporary injunction following an urgent motion for Annulment of Judgment filed by the former Solicitor General Simeon Marcelo, in July, 2002, at instruction of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. (Case CA-GR SP No. 70014, based on ”alleged nullity of proceedings”.) Could it be that the intention of the oligarchs is permanent injunction, so that the gold can either be stolen, or diverted to a purpose never intended by those who provided the means for the Philippines to establish its own Central Bank ?
Certainly there is no apparent justice for the true owners of the gold, and one might well ask – Why does the Administration wait thirty years to bring a case for ”nullity of proceedings”, when the matter was resolved by the Courts, and made final and executory on 4 February, 1972 ?
Repeating – Why would an Administration wait thirty years to challenge a matter which was judicially determined, and enforceable at law ? Has corruption so permanently entered the mainstream of government that they seek to change history to cover both misfeasance and malfeasance during their tenure ? Only time will tell, but it is clear that the Court has not been expedient in dealing with the case filed in July, 2002, and so it could be a strategy to allow the matter to lay undecided for an indefinite period, and perhaps beyond the life span of legitimate claimants.

The unaswered question is – WHY ?
One is reminded of the American humorist MARK TWAIN, who in 1866
said :-
liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in
session. Or perhaps even of PERICLES, who, in 430 BC said :-
Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean
politics won’t take an interest in you.
So, now that we have made a brief journey through historical events which shaped the nation known as the Republic of the Philippines, we can reflect on what we have learned, and endeavour to speculate as to what motivated President Marcos and Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz to join forces in accumulating and placing massive wealth.
• The writer believes it is fair to state that President Marcos had a
consuming passion to make the Philippines the most stable and
progressive state in the Asian community.
• As a lawyer, Senator and later President, it can be accepted that he was perfectly familiar with the land title claim of the Tallano Clan, and equally well aware of the massive gold deposit made by that Clan to establish the first Central Bank of the Philippines.
• His initial meeting with Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz must have been a revelation, because his legal brain would rapidly recognise that he was in presence of a man who represented wealth, royalty, power and influence, and just as quickly, he recognised the outgrowth of that relationship in terms of his longer term vision for the Philippines.
• It is no secret that President Marcos and Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz enjoyed a harmonious relationship lasting many years, and that they actively cooperated in multiple financial adventures designed to achieve each of their individual objectives.
• Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz enjoyed a unique distinction in terms of the purposes of Marcos in placing and securing valuable assets, in that he was a ”persona ecclesiae”, a parson, where the assets at his disposal were nominally those of the church, and thus Diaz held patrimony of those assets in his own name, essentially as a ”corporation sole”.
• President Marcos obviously designed the legal strategies which
encompassed and preserved the wealth, while Rev. Fr. Jose Antonio
Diaz provided the wealth and high-level connection necessary to
successfully domicile that wealth as instructed by President Marcos.
• In one unique area, Rev. Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz could identify wealth concealed by the Japanese and German forces, and the legal strategiesof President Marcos could provide the domicile and protection for that

recovered wealth, and so such recoveries became the centre-piece of their financial engagements.
• It was no easy task. Any recovery from a burial site would contain asset subject of the Statute of Limitations, and if fully disclosed would attract multiple claimants. Marcos played his role masterfully by dealing astutely with the financial ”hyenas” who habitually prey upon such assets, and several arrangements with the Pentagon, United Nations, International Monetary Fund and other august bodies preserved the assets through permitting their use by the scavengers, but retaining title to the involved principal.
• Deposits with banks were largely made under ”bailment” conditions, thus assuring their security until such time as the Statute of Limitations
lapsed.
• The ultimate beneficiary was kept concealed via use of a coded
identification, TVM-LSM-666, and all critical documents referred to the beneficiary exclusively under that code-name.
• Finally the assignments were made, wherein the beneficiary was fully identified by name. Originals of such assignments were handed exclusively to the chosen beneficiary, with copy to the concerned holding institution, to thus assure a trouble-free assumption of the accounts bythe beneficiary at maturity.
• That beneficiary has been identified. Significantly, the beneficiary is again a ”persona ecclesiae”, and thus the multiple assignments can be activated by that beneficiary in accord with the confidential ”Letter of Instruction” executed by Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz, and in the event of death or incapacity of that beneficiary, may equally be passaged to the next intended beneficiary under like conditions. Now the question might well be asked :–
• ”What exactly was the origin of the purported 600,000 metric tonnes of gold bullion subscribed by the Clan Tallano to support establishment of the Central Bank of the Philippines ?”
• ”Was it Vatican Gold ?”
• ”Could Tallano have acquired such a massive store of wealth as a result of a successful business career in the Dutch East Indies ?”
The question is easily answered if one has followed the ebb and flow of power and influence on the global financial scene over the past one hundred years. In the first instance, Prince Julian McLeod Tallano controlled not only his own fortune and business income, but had an interest in the fortune of his British family, and acquired the wealth of his wife the Princess Tahata upon marriage.

And the wealth of his British family ? Fabulous. The Kings and Queens of England were drawn largely from the German nobility, and they, through land ownership via conquest, had amassed major fortunes, the majority of which was in gold. Moreover, in the immediate post World War II aftermath, those Kings and Queens were well aware of the chilly winds of Republicanism blowing through their domains, and having lost both land and fortunes to the fates of war, had turned to the church as depository of their remaining wealth in order to gain the patronage of that august influence. The prevailing thought was, where safer to park your fortune than with the richest influence on earth, and therefore trustworthy and beyond venality ?
They neglected to consider that the Rothschild banking family had taken control of the Vatican finances in 1863, and that while they were nominally protected by the ”Vatican”, their wealth was at disposal of the Rothschild family of bankers. England, least feared the winds of Republicanism due to an arrangement
struck with the government when Britain became bankrupt following a major Sovereign Debt Default, which involved the
then Monarch paying all of the debts of the country, and assigning certain lands to the country in exchange for permanent
recognition of the existing Monarchy, plus a stipend to perform that role, and had, with connivance of the church, formed that one
square mile of land now known as the ”City of London” to handle the financial affairs of the ”crown”.
In that same context, it must be noted that Britain is owned ”lock, stock and barrel” by the Vatican due to breach of Treaty considerations surrounding Magna Carta. The Queen, although the nominal head of the Church of England, is instructed directly by the Roman Pontiff. That condition has been ”in place”
since Magna Carta, and will remain whilever the prevailing Treaties remain in existence.
So, if Prince Julian McLeod Tallan had proposed to his British relatives that 600,000 metric tonnes of gold should be loaned for purpose of funding a new Central Bank in the Philippines, who would object ?
• The City of London, with its close ties to the Bank of England had long recognised that a Central Bank was a prolific revenue earner, based upon the issue of credits as opposed to assignment of existing specie.
• The Rothschilds banking fraternity, as controllers of the Vatican wealth would have no objection, as such a situation favoured their possible later acquisition of the new Central Bank as an extension of their grip on the existing Bank of England, and longer term plan to amalgamate the Central Banks of the world..

• The Vatican itself would not object, since the gold was destined for use of a dominently Catholic community. Voila ! Prince Julian McLeod Tallano would clearly have little difficulty in raising the requisite 600,000 metric tonnes of gold, even if he did not have access to that volume from his personal resources, or Muslim family affiliations. In all truth, there were even more powerful under-currents at work long before the period in which Prince Julian McLeod Tallano assembled the 600,000 metric tonnes of gold. The centuries old fight for supremacy and world hegemony between the British and Spanish crowns was in full force and effect, and there were religious interests seeking to extend their influence in the form of Islam approaching from the south, and the Catholic Church, as motivator of Spain obliged them to approach the Philippines with a Bible in one hand, and a sword in the other.
The British proved to be diplomatically superior in their efforts, as evidenced by production of the Decree known as the 01-4 Protocol.
In 1764, the Royal Crown of England, Great Britain, decided case No. 571 in the Escribania de Cabildo and ordered the creation of the Hacienda of the Philippine Islands pursuant to the Decree of 01-4 Protocol, by virtue of the Supreme Order of the Royal Crown of England embracing four major islands
Consisting of 169,972,500 hectares of plains, mountains, forests, and seas, specifically the island of Luzon 31,804,624 hectares, the islands of Palawan 3,652,875 hectares, Visayan Islands 45,996,215 hectares, and Mindanao with 83,518,786 hectares more or less. “Witness His Highness King George III of the Royal Crown of England, January 17, 1764, issued at Manila at 10.45 a.m.
attested by Governor General Downsone Drake, British Governor, P.I., signed Governor Jose Raon, Office of the Escribania de Cabildo, Proprietary Governor.”
Clever was it not ? The land mass became the property of the Tallano Clan, and when the Treaty of Paris was executed in 1898, the victor was obliged to recognise the Tallano Clan as true title holders to the land mass of the Philippines. The British had protected their interests in South-East Asia in a daring move which had assigned the land to ”one of their own”, the family of Prince Julian McLeod Tallano, brother of Queen Victoria, thus defeating all efforts of the Spanish to retain possession of the archipelago. And so we can repeat that Prince Julian McLeod Tallano would have experienced no difficulty whatever in assembling the 600,000 metric tonnes of gold, because it all stayed ”in the family”. It would be a valid assumption to suggest that Britain held the dominant position from date of issue of the Decree of 01-4 protocol. The Spanish were in possession of the Philippine Islands but lost their colonial powers to the USA.
The Spanish tried to maintain a foot-hold with their invalid “Titulo de Propriedad” in the name of Hermogenes Rodriguez, and with many Spanish land titles coming from “Friars land” as if the Friars were the original owners of land in the Philippines.

The Friars were not, and never were, original land owners. The owners of the land are indisputably the Royal Family of the Philippines, the Tallano-Tagean Clan, originally in the name of Prince Lacan Acuna Tallano (Tagean). In order to appreciate the intrinsic value of gold at the time of deposit to Central Bank of the Philippines, it must be recalled that gold was then regularly traded
at between 27 and 30 dollars per troy ounce, and NOT the one thousand dollars plus figure we note today. Even allowing a then price of USD 1,000,000 per metric tonne, the value of the deposit at date of completion would have been in the order of USD Six hundred billion. Today of course, that value is in excess of Thirty trillion dollars, but the loan was a bailment which established the credit-worthiness of the new Central Bank, and so the appreciated value is of no concern, because the contract calls simply for return of the original deposit as gold, plus agreed interest.
The key question is – Will it ever happen ? Note the words of Albert Einstein : ”The world is a dangerous place to live ; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it”. The currently undecided Case CA-GR SP No. 70014, based on ”alleged nullity of proceedings”, lays on the Court table, unheard, at eight years after its filingin 2002.
The intention of the oligarchs is unclear, but it is certainly unprecedented for an administration to challenge the law of the land by seeking to overturn a ruling which became executory some thirty years prior to challenge. We should not leave this essay without some further explanation of the activities and role of
Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz / Jose Rizal in the momentous events which have so markedly impacted Philippine history.
It can be shown that the Reverend Father was not a passive participant in the looting and reallocation of the gold and treasure of Europe and Asia, but took an active role in its movement
and processing. His academic achievements are well documented in multiple publications, but here we are far more interested in his activities relative to looted treasure.Little is officially known or recorded about a certain Jose Antonio Diaz de la Paz who became Papal Nuncio and was invited to be the new Pope in February 1922. He declined. He had more important things to do. He was chosen by the Royal Families to be the trustee for all the gold left by the Royal Families (they had entrusted him already with their eyes, and so they could as readily entrust him their gold) which was now lying secretly in the Vatican’s

caverns in Benevento, Italy. Jose Antonio Diaz (formerly Jose P. Rizal) decided he would bring all the gold to the Philippines. Nobody would look for it there. It did not last long. There seemed to be a build-up for another war. The former owners of the gold got nervous, Pope Pius XI got old. All the while Hitler’s SS silently and secretly ransacked the far-away bonded warehouses of the British banks and brought the gold (more often than not in submarines) to Singapore where it was delivered and handed over in brief ceremonies to the Japanese Imperial Army under Hitler’s half-brother Tomiyuki Yamashita.
The submarines headed back, so that nobody would discover the subterfuge. Jose Antonio Diaz shipped the 650,000 metric tonnes back to the Vatican, with the quip -. “If that is what you want !” Note : 10 years later Pope Pius XII asked him to bring it
back to Manila (see Agana Decision)
There were no telecommunications in the form we understand today but we can imagine that Jose Antonio Diaz (or Jose P. Rizal), Adolf Hitler, and Tomoyuki Yamashita knew what they were doing.
They were the original axis powers established during the Berlin Olympics (where Japan’s Emperor Hirohito visited Hitler), formalised with Italy in the 1940 Tripartite Pact. They did the planning and they plundered the gold, Hitler in the West, Japanese forces in the East. They came together and met in Singapore, which was then officially a British crown colony, and had the smelting of the gold done by the expert German company, DEGUSSA. From there, the gold was brought to the Philippines to be buried under supervision of Prince Chichibu, and to become known as the
infamous “Yamashita treasure”.
We are talking of a time prior to the start of WWII, generally accepted as being
September 1, 1939 when Hitler ordered his generals to take Poland in one day.
We could argue that the start of WWII was much earlier, perhaps in 1937 when
the Imperial Japanese Army raided and took China, killing more than 300,000
Chinese during one day in Nanking. That was 6 years after Japan had started
the military invasion of China in order to capture the Manchuria Province in
China’s North which had all the natural resources that Japan so importantly
needed in order to support a war effort. It was also in 1931 that Japan started
to invade, albeit silently, the Philippines. Mostly civil engineers in disguise, the
Japanese started to build a wide array of tunnels and caves. Thus indicating
that they prepared well ahead for the burial of the gold that would come from
Europe and China.
The gold that Hitler and his Japanese allies stole from the
richest of the rich on both sides, from those who had
money enough to buy gold, stash it away in secret bank
vaults, so that they would not have to pay tax, was listed,
immediately following the war, in the International Court of
Justice (World Court) in The Hague, Holland. The total of
the missing gold was 946,000 metric tonnes, and it is still missing.
The World Court had ruled that all gold found from buried treasure in the
Philippines would, legally, belong to the Original Claimants of WWII Loot.

Until today there has not been a single claimant. The claims are listed per country (there are 13 countries claiming), no names of persons or families are tendered. The Federal Reserve, the U.S. Treasury, The International Bank for Settlement, The International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank, are patently aware of the location of the gold, and to them it is the same as if the gold was stashed secretly in America.
So, Jose Protacio Rizal / Reverend Father Jose Antonio Diaz de la Paz was an active participant in concealment and masking of the stolen treasures of World War II. Yes he was a patriot. Yes he was an accomplished and sophisticated person. Yes, he was a friend of royalty across a broad spectrum, and to the end he served the Philippines, as his Letter of Instruction which details what is to be done with the accumulated wealth, demands that its primary objective be specific projects for betterment of the Philippines. Whether subscribing to the accuracy of published history, or influenced by the revelations of this essay, it must be admitted that Jose Rizal was first and foremost a patriot, even if his modus operandi was unorthodox in the extreme.
Perhaps we should silently hope that his vision is realised, along with that of President Marcos, his accomplice in the world’s most incredible seizure and conversion of stolen wealth. The Philippines cries out for administrative reform. It has a poverty index equavalent to sub- Sahara Africa, and Land Reform, which
should be a keystone in correcting that situation is totally ignored by all administrations.
Hernando de Soto in his master-piece ”The Mystery of Capital” provided a profound study of the Land Laws of the Philippines, and
demonstrated conclusively that Land Reform was the key element in the elimination of poverty and awakening of the entrepreneural spirit that is the backbone of every great nation.
• Perhaps such reform is frustrated by considerations surrounding the Land Title OCT No. T 01-4, but the present representatives of the Tallano Clan are not ogres, and genuinely subscribe to the suggestion that Land Reform is critical, and they will cooperate in a meaningful way to assist such reform.
• In terms of infrastructure, the beneficiary known by the Code TVM-LSM- 666 is equally enthusiastic to share the vision of President Marcos and Rev. Fr. Diaz to assure that the Philippines becomes the most stable and progressive state in the Asian community.

• The individual entrepreneurmanship of the Philippine national is
evidenced by an underground economy which has been suggested as larger than the published figures of gvernment. Ergo, the three critical elements for reform in all aspects of empowerment of the Philippines are present, in way, means and will. What then will be the catalyst which fuses those critical elements into a national upwelling of interest to generate a Philippines of promise ?
If one were to provide a definition of government, we can suggest that such a definition would be :-
”To provide and maintain an environment in which its people may live peacefully and prosper”. If we can accept that definition, perhaps we are obliged to look to the administration as the catalyst which fuses the way, means and will. Let them lead, and the people will follow in devout appreciation of the opportunity to assume control of their own lives. Tax revenues will increase, harmony will reign within the population, and all will be well with the world.
Where is the leader who will recognise the available tools, then grasp the initiative, and lead the Philippines toward the destiny so long planned, and so painfully delayed, by forces concerned more with their own welfare than welfare of the country they were elected to manage with perception and integrity ?

The uncertainty of the global economy, which is mostly led by powerful countries in the West, has prompted concerns from many financial analysts.

Lord Jacob Rothschild is a British citizen. He is the chairman of the Rothschild Investment Trust Capital Partners. He said the consequences of what are currently unfolding in the global financial market are unknown.

Writing in his company’s semi-annual Financial report at the end of June 2016, Lord Jacob Rothschild stated: “The six months under review have seen central bankers continuing what is surely the greatest experiment in monetary policy in the history of the world. We are therefore in uncharted waters and it is impossible to predict the unintended consequences of very low interest rates, with some 30 percent of global government debt at negative yields, combined with quantitative easing on a massive scale.”

The investment banker, estimated to have a net worth about $5 billion, further said this experiment policy by central banks has led to a rapid growth of stock markets, especially in the United States. According to financial experts, since 2008, United States stocks have grown threefold, with investments growing and volatility remaining low.

But despite this deliberate manipulation by United States Federal Reserve officials, Jacob Rothschild revealed that the real sector of economy didn’t enjoy such a profit. He said growth remains weak.

Lord Jacob Rothschild also stated that there is weak demand and deflation in many parts of the Developed World. To authenticate the claim by the investment banker that some countries in the Developed World are indeed battling with deflation, according to a Bank of America Merrill Lynch report in June 2016, interest rates in the West, especially the United States, are at the lowest levels in 5,000 years. The current Federal interest rate of the United States stands at 0.500 %. In the United Kingdom, it is 0.250%.Furthermore, in the battle against deflation, countries such as Sweden, Switzerland and Japan have even turned to negative key lending rates.

Another disaster in waiting on the global financial market is the current negative yields on government bonds. In June 2016, it was reported that a 10-year German government bond dipped below 0% for the first time in history.

This prompted Janus Capital, an investment group, to estimate that the global yields are the lowest in 500 years, and that the total amount of such bonds is $10 trillion. The investment group’s lead portfolio manager, Bill Gross, described the situation as a supernova that will explode one day.

However, Lord Jacob Rothschild underlined that many risks remain for the global economy with the deteriorating geopolitical situation. Among those risks the billionaire listed included Brexit, the upcoming presidential elections in the United States, and China’s slowing economic growth. He also pointed out the rise in global terrorism, emphasizing the continuing conflict in the Middle East, especially the rise of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

Even before this statement by Lord Rothschild, many observers had said the crash of the global financial market is imminent, due to the constant manipulation of the sector.

There is a war going on that people are aware exists. However, many more people are beginning to wake up and become aware that this war is against them: taking away their rights and their freedoms.

The Brexit vote to leave the European Union was so large, the powers that pull the strings could not rig the outcome. Now a vote that is 8% greater than the vote to remain is being touted as a neck and neck vote. Still there are those in Scotland and Wales who do not want to be beholden to Westminster. They want to obtain handouts from the European Union. Little do they realize that the United Kingdom is contributing much more than the nations that are bleeding the EU because of their lack of industry.

Go to Brussels and have a look at the facilities the eurocrats are provided with, even though they do nothing to produce anything other than laws to restrict the freedoms of the average person. The average person is a member of the proletariat, those at the bottom layers of the pyramid; the workers, who otherwise make up the precariat.

The precariat are people who do not have the security of independent wealth and influence because they do not own swathes of land or shares or have political power. They are living lives that are financially insecure and move from one job to another (when they can find one) because technology and robots have taken over their jobs.

The West is about to enter into a phase where there is going to be more uncertainty and economic stability is going to become more uncertain.

Obviously flat-earthers have not been to the edge of the Earth to see the dykes that keep the water from flowing over the edge of the Earth. If they had they would realize that the dykes that keep the water on the Earth from flowing off are tall stories.
