We have lot of spill waste of soup and buttermilk whlie transporting food to needy schools. We are looking to redesign or new spill proof stainless steel vessel. Need help with ideas.

Wowsers! As a tiffin enthusiast, I really admire such beauty and the history behind such a piece. But the sheet metal worker in me is smitten by the craftmanship. In the last 17 years I have come to really love the beauty of copper (and all metals) more than I would have if I had never gotten into the trade. It is not hard for me to envision what it takes to make an item like your copper tiffin. Thanks for sharing, Andrea =)

Thanks, that wasvery interesting. Actually,I was born in Thailand in the 1970s but my parents fled and came here in Britain. Truthfully, I didnt care much about my Thai heritage until my mother died recently, now I’ve been trying to find out as much as I can. Seemed like food was as good a place as any to start from! Anyway, I found a lot of thai food recipes here that your readers might be interested in too.

Thanks Elise – the bags are wonderful, even without using a tiffin inside them. The dimensions are 6.5″W x 6.5″L x 7.5″H. The one above in the photos is a taller version i had specially made for a 4 tier tiffin. Hope to have these available soon as well.

Hello, i think this is as good of a place as any to post and let you know. I went to subscribe to your RSS feed, and when i clicked it i got an error that said “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING” followed by other gibberish that scrolled off the screen. I had to force the page to stop loading because it locked up my browser. Cheers.
