Installing a baby seat should be simple. It's a small seat.... for a baby... you put on top of a big seat. Done. Right? Noooooo. Right? Noooooo. Even with the "convenient" tab method where one uses hooks on the baby seat to attach to metal loops in all new and new-ish vehicles seat skeletons. Pre-installed, if you have a new-ish or new car go look for the icon where the back of your seat meets the bottom part. Neato, this should be easy I thought innocently.</p>
<p>45 minutes later I am cursing and sweating and my knuckles are bleeding. To make a long story short the designers or should I say engineers of these baby seats should be publicly executed or better yet made to actually use their own product. The hooks should be angled at 90 degrees but of course they are flat and straight so meandering in the underbelly of your vehicles seats in near impossible. The straps come pre-twisted for your untangling pleasure and when it's finally in place you have to call friends who have done this already to explain why it's not all that secure in the car.</p>
<p>2 more minutes and I would have decided that the kid doesn't need to go anywhere until she can drive anyway.</p>
