New Generation V Pokemon Plush Toys Part 3 Coming Soon

Great news. The Pokemon Centers in Japan have just announced the 3rd line of Pokemon Generation V character plush toys.

These great new plush toys will be going on sale in Japan on November 26, 2010. You will be able to purchase them directly from Japan after November 26, 2010 from http://www.hardrock-pokemon.com

There will be new characters such as” Choroneko” and “Darumakka” which are about the size of Pokedolls. There will also be some larger final stage evolutionary plushes:

“Daikenki” is the final evolution of Mijumaru, Futachimaru, Daikenki
“Enbuoo” is the final evolution of Pokabu, Chaobu,Enbuoo
“Jaroda” is the final evolution of Tsutarja, Jyanobii, Jaroda

In addition, there will be 4 different plush versions made of “Shikijika” - Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter versions (4 different colors). All of these plush toys will be in great demand.

Finally, the Pokemon Centers in Japan have released the second wave of new Generation V plush toys. This time they have made 6 plush toys and 3 evolved form larger plushes. Just released on October 17, 2010, these awesome new plushies will sell out fast. This brings the total to 20 Generation V plush toys that have been released so far.

Of the smaller plushies that were released, Baoppu, Hiyappu and Yanappu are three monkeys. Minenezumi is a chipmunk, Churine is an onion, and Yorterrie is a Yorkshire Terrier.
In addition, the first larger evolved form plushies of Generation V were also released. Jyanobii which is the evolved form of Tsutarja, Chaobu is the evolved form of Pokabu and Futachimaru is the evolved form of Mijumaru.
All these plushies are very soft and cuddly. The smaller plushes are about 6" tall and the larger ones are about 9" tall (varies by character). The detail is very nice and they are very well made. There are 9 new Pokemon Generation V plushies going on sale on October 16, 2010. These plushies will only be sold at the Pokemon Centers in Japan.

Hiyappu, Baoppu, Yanappu, Minezumi, Yorterrie,Churine are the Pokedoll size plushies. These very popular characters are the latest in the Generation V line of Pokemon characters to be released. In addition there are three bigger plushies. Jyanobii is an evolution of Tsutarja, Chaobu is an evolution of Pokabu and Futachimaru is an evolution of Mijumaru. All of these plushies will only be sold at the Pokemon Centers in Japan. No toy stores will be selling these (at least nothing has been announced yet). Tons of new Pokemon Generation V Pokemon items have been released. Sorry for the slow update. There are so many new items that I couldn't keep up. Here are some of the items, but not all.

All the old Pokemon were taken out and all Generation V characters were added. New Japanese Pokemon 8 Kinds of Canvas Plush Toys

The greatest canvas plush toys since the Eevee evolutions are going on sale at the Japan Pokemon Centers on June 19, 2010. There will be 8 new canvas plushies. Vulpix, Jirachi, Dragonite, Shaymin, Lapras, Growlithe, Riolu and Ampharos.

The canvas plush toys are a little smaller than the Pokedolls, but they are extremely popular. The detail is wonderful and they are sure to sell out fast. They have a small amount of beans inside the stuffed toy. Kind of a combination of a beanbag and a plush toy. Vulpix, Growlithe, and Ampharos are probably the most popular of the bunch and wont be around for long. Don't miss out on these wonderful new canvas plush toys.

Zoroark and Zorua plush toys

Here is what you have all been waiting for.... Zoroark and Zorua plush toys will be coming out on June 1st, 2010.

They are made by Tomytakara. They plush toys look incredible. I will have them available on my website on June 1st. If you want to reserve them now, I have both Zoroark plush and Zorua plush on Ebay as a pre-sell auction.

The Zorua will be about 6" (15cm) tall and the Zoroark about 12" (30cm) tall from what I understand. These will be very very popular and probably sell out fast, so reserve yours today.

Pikachu Illustrator

Finally the rarest Pokemon card of all time has arrived!!!! The Pikachu Illustrator.

This card, know as "the Illustrator" or the "Pikachu Illustrator" because of its picture with Pikachu holding a paintbrush, was given out to the winner of a special drawing contest in Japan, back in 1997. The contest ran 3 times during 1997. Although nobody knows for sure how many of these cards were actually produced, the most accurate estimate seems to be 6 cards made. The card says "Illustrator" instead of "Trainer" on the top of the card. It shows Pikachu holding a paintbrush and has two stars at the bottom of the card indicating its rarity. It also has a paintbrush logo on the bottom of the card instead of a series mark. This card is by far the most highly prized promo card of all time. It was only made in Japanese and most collectors would die to have it. I have actually only seen 2 of these in my 12 years of selling Pokemon cards. A once in a lifetime find.

Zorua, Zoroark and Keshipoke #9 Series Figures

FINALLY they have released the first of the Zorua and Zoroark Pokemon Center items.

There is 2 hats, 2 keychains, a tin box with cookies, and 2 wristbands. Very cool items. Check out all of my Zoroark and Zorua items.

The Keshipoke series #9 figures are finally here. As usual, the distribution of figures was very uneven. Pikachu and Chikorita seem to be the most common by far. Umbreon (as expected) was horribly hard to get. I opened 95 figure boxes and got only 3 Umbreon which is an absolutely horrible average of about 1 in every 32 tries.

The figures are very nice. The complete set consists of Pikachu, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Houndoom, Umbreon, Espeon, Suicune, Entei, Raikou, Scizor and there are 2 rares. Lugia and Ho-oh are the super secret rares. They differ from other Lugia and Ho-oh figures because they have a metallic like paint job (very similar to the Tomy giveaway promotion figures of Lugia and Ho-oh).

Finally, Lost Link mini series is on sale.

This is a very cool mini series featuring holofoils of Altaria, Snorlax, Pachirisu, Venomoth, Lucario and Spiritomb. There are also 4 prime cards: Mew, Absol, Gengar and Magnezone. Along with a 2 card "Legend" puzzle with Darkrai and Cresselia. I have booster packs, boxes, and individual holofoils for sale.

The coolest cards in the set are probably the Mew and Absol prime cards. Very nicely made. They are rather difficult to get, as there is only one prime card per booster box. Anyone looking for these cards should check out my website.

Charizard Campaign Leather Goods

Today I went to the Pokemon Center to check out the Charizard Campaign leather goods. I was in complete shock at the prices. The leather wallet was around $100 and the leather bag was around $500. Granted the Fukuoka Pokemon Center only got 2 bags (of course nobody bought these yet), but $500 for a bag is ridiculous. Even if it is rare and made of leather. Due to the insane prices, I wont be stocking these items, but if anybody is interested in these please let me know.

The keshipoke figures are due out in a little over a week. This set will be very popular and probably expensive due to the eevee evolutions. I will update more when I know.

Pokemon Battle Museum Figures + Deck Boxes

I managed to get ahold of some more of the Pokemon Battle Museum figures from back in 2000. They are getting very difficult to find now that they are 10 years old. I will continue putting them on my website for the next few days.

I also found some very old and very rare Pokemon deck boxes. They will only be available for a very short time. Get them now before they are gone.

Charizard Campaign is Here!!!

The Charizard Campaign at the Pokemon Centers in Japan is finally here. There was quite a few items released today: Charizard Pokedoll, 2 tshirts, childrens hat, adult hat, stickers, pens, clear file folder, towel, sports towel, business card case, pencil case, notebook, spiral notebook, keychain and pin badge. On April 10th, they will be releasing the hooded jacket and leather bag in VERY VERY limited quantity. Will probably sell out in a day or two. Check out all the Charizard items.

Espeon and Umbreon Daisuki Club Redemption Cards

The Japanese Pokemon Daisuki Fan Club has anounced two new point redemption promos. Espeon and Umbreon will be the newest two editions to the collection.

The Pokemon Daisuki Fan Club (means I love Pokemon in Japanese) replaced the old Players Fan Club a couple years back. So far the Daisuki Club has produced these 6 point redemption cards

Pikachu
Cresselia
Darkrai
Raichu
Espeon
Umbreon

These 2 new promos will probably not be out for a while, but will be extremely popular. My guess is they are the last two in the Daisuki Club series, and are probably the top two point redemption cards. They will be extremely difficult for players as well as collectors to obtain. I will do my best to make these cards available.

Charizard Campaign

As most of you know by now, there will be a Charizard Campaign at the Japan Pokemon Centers on April 3, 2010. There will be a bunch of new items.

Most noteably is the Charizard pokedoll. Its kind of hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like there will be 2 baseball caps, wallet, bag, jacket, 2 tshirts, a pin badge, a keychain, a folder or clear folder, and some other items. I will know more on April 3 when they go on sale. Stay tuned for more information. On April 3, most of the items will be on my website along with lots of other Unique and Rare Pokemon items.

Lost Link Mini Card Set

Just a reminder that the new Japanese Pokemon "Lost Link" mini set will be coming out on April 16th, 2010. I will have booster packs, holofoils, and full sets available..

The set will consist of 40 cards. There will be Mew, Absol, Gengar and Magnezone Prime cards. It will also have a 2 card Legend puzzle with Darkrai and Cresselia. The set will not have any energy cards this time, and each booster pack will have 7 random cards (including 1 holofoil) instead of 11 cards.

I also have some new Rare Japanese Holofoil Cards on my website. I got some of the very rare crystal type cards from the old Expedition series. Much more rare than the English versions. They were the ultra rare inserts in the Japanese sets.

Im back from Tokyo. The Piplup Campaign at the Pokemon Centers in Japan has begun. Lots of new Piplup merchandise. There is a nice 1:1 size giant sized Piplup. Its about 13" tall. Very nicely made.

Champions League Miracle Diamond, Mysterious Pearl, Mew Victory Orb Trophy Cards

The rest of the extremely rare Japanese Pokemon cards have arrived. The Champions League Trophy card is an absolute treaure.

Although nobody knows just exactly how many of these cards were actually made, I believe it is less than 10 cards ever made. Extremely rare. One of the top 10 rarest Japanese promo cards ever made.

The condition is absolutely perfect. It was only given out to the winner of the Spring Champions League in Japan. I have only ever seen this card one other time.

In addition I found some older Japanese Pokemon trophy cards as well. I managed to come across a Miracle Diamond card. This card was only given out to the top winners at the Battle Road Tournaments across Japan in 2007 and 2008.

What makes this card some much more rare than its sister card, Mysterious Pearl, is the fact that 3 of the Pokemon tournaments got cancelled due to a threat made against the tournament. So, the number of cards actually given out was very very low. It was given out to

Mysterious Pearl- this is the sister card of the Miracle Diamond and was given out back in 2007 and 2008 at the Battle Road tournaments.

I also picked up a Mew Victory Orb which was given out to the top 3 winners of the Battle Road Tournament back in 2005 and 2006. A beautiful holofoil card featuring Mew.

Also added some new Trainer magazine fan club promo cards and will be adding some more stuff when I get back in 3 days.

I finally got the Battle Road Tournament 2002 No. 1 Trainer on Ebay.. This card is unbelievably rare. Less than 10 made in the world. Its in the top 10 of the most rare Japanese cards ever made. Given away to the 1st place winner at the Battle Road Tournament, back in 2002.

I also got the Battle Road Tournament 2002 No. 3 Trainer card. Less than 10 ever made of this card too. Given away to the 3rd place winner at the Battle Road Tournament, back in 2002. You will notice that the price is very high, but worth every penny. These cards will probably never show up again anywhere, not even on Ebay. They are in mint condition, which is nearly impossible to find. EXTREMELY RARE!!!!

I also added a Neo 4 ultra rare Charizard to my webiste.

Got some more Japanese rare Pokemon cards coming soon. Im off to Tokyo tomorrow for the next 3 days. Should have some more really rare cards when I get back.

Sapporo Pokemon Center 1st Anniversary

I picked up some new Sapporo 1st Anniversary items. A set of 3 charms, a pin badge, a keychain, and some stickers. They all have the same Sapporo 1st anniversary theme and feature cowboy Pikachu, Eevee, & Piplup. You can check out my website for pictures of the new Pokemon Center Sapporo 1st Anniversary Items.

I also managed to win a GIANT size Pichu stuffed pillow. Its absolutely HUGE!!!! It was only available as the grand prize in the Pokemon Center lottery. If you spent 3500yen (about $40), you got one try at the lottery wheel. Nearly impossible to win. I will put it on my site soon.

2007 Darkrai Deck Boxes

Today I managed to get ahold of some 2007 Pokemon Darkrai DP3 Shining Darkness deck boxes. They have been sold out for nearly 3 years. If anyone is interested, you can find them on my Pokemon website. In addition to the deck boxes, I also managed to find some DP4 Pokemon Leafeon, Glaceon & Cresselia mini card binders. Long sold out and nearly impossible to find.

Im going to Tokyo on Friday. I will be going to the Pokemon Center to see if there are any new items. Tokyo is about 2 hours away from me by plane, but I happen to be going there on business. I will update if anything new is available.

New Keshipoke Figures + Piplup Campaign

I have added some more Keshipoke figures to my website. One of them is a super rare Arceus Psychic version. I also added the complete set from series #6 which is out of production.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the new Keshipoke figures #9 series which is due out at the end of April. The set will include Pikachu, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Scizor, Houndoom, Espeon, Umbreon, Raikou, Entei & Suicune. This set will be incredibly popular, so it will be first come, first serve on my website. Here is the picture of the Keshipoke #9 series.

This month is the Piplup Campaign at the Japan Pokemon Centers. There will be a Piplup theme with some new merchandise. I went to the Pokemon Center today, but nothing is on sale yet. The release is sometime in March, but nobody knows exactly when, so I have to go several times per week to check. Next month is the Charizard Campaign which should be awesome. 13th Pokemon Movie Trailer

Good afternoon from rainy Japan. Not much new going on for Japanese Pokemon cards. There is a new movie trailer available on Pokebeach's website.
The new Pokemon movie entitled "Ruler of Illusion" is due out in July, 2010. Its the 13th Pokemon movie and should be a good one. It features new characters Zorua and Zoroark. You can also watch the trailer at on Filb's website.
