goto80 made a new ASCII graffiti piece, this time in color!
By using cut-out stencils for each characters, like / and _ - spraying them one by one.

This was his practice round for what he will be doing together with us, at the PLATINE festival in Cologne next week!

Special TEXTMODE ART exhibition at the PLATINE Festival in Cologne 03.-06. August 2015 / Location: Bunker k101

Textmode-graphics are created using the keyboard and the respective charsets on different computers such as the C64, Amiga and IBM PC. Written logos or characters are created using (back)-slashes, hyphen, underlines, blockshapes and other similar symbols found in the charsets.

Together with international artists and groups we have compiled a variety of textmode-graphics from different areas of style.
Beginning with the oldest technologies such as Teletext, C64 Petscii, Amiga Ascii, PC Ansi, evolving to customized charsets and introducing other media formats.

The artworks will be displayed on digital prints and monitors to showcase their original shapes and forms. A journey through textmode art history, that leads to appearances in print publications, animated visuals, clothing and paintings.

Over 30 labels have been nominated for the T-Shirt Biennale. The event takes place at Heinz Gaul in Cologne on the weekend of the 4th and 5th July. Check out the Facebook-Event for more updates.

What an amazing event at Luisenviertel Ehrenfeld! The weather was amazing - just like the atmosphere among the thousands of visitors who enjoyed the event.

Jazzafari from Portugal shows us his studio and looks totally badass in our new shirt!

We first got in touch with Jazzafari back in 2013, when Orkan was painting a wall during filming of a music video with Wysten, who wore our very first t-shirt in it. Always a pleasure to have some badjulas-nights with Jazzafari and friends.

We are happy to have been part of the Red Fight District 2014 in Amsterdam.

HarikaZen provided the staff and stream team with the exclusive RFD/Crew shirts in red.
The champion of all the games represented at RFD also received an exclusive RFD shirt in red on top of their other prizes, and the remaining competitors in the top3 placings of these tournaments also won RFD shirt in blue, which was only available for preorder, making it a very rare item to own!

All these shirts were handsigned by tagging the champions name on the back of the shirts.

As being part of the Capcom Pro Tour this season, the event definetly brought the hype to Amsterdam, and were very happy to be there!

With major players like Justin Wong, Gamerbee, Luffy and Valmaster in attendence it could only become interesting, congratulations to the winners of the following tournaments who are now proud owners of these limited shirts.
