The new feature lets you save a section of the map, and use navigation features even with no data connection.

Google Maps Offline Navigation has finally made its way to India, a week after the company announced they were gradually rolling out the new feature. While you could earlier manually browse the area of a map even without a internet connection, the latest update, 9.17.1, adds offline turn-by-turn navigation as well. It also estimates the time it'll take you, based on average recorded traffic on that route instead of real-time.

Google had announced the new features earlier at Google I/O, stating that they were aiming to make their navigation app more efficient for users in emerging markets where data services can be patchy and charges expensive. With the update, you can choose to save a section of the map while connected to WiFi and, if your data connection sputters or fails while you're on the move, offline maps automatically kicks in. And it's not just offline search and navigation, but points of interest within your saved map show the customary operational hours, contact details, and reviews as well.

Android users can check out the update and all it brings right now, but iOS users will have to wait a bit before they can try out Offline Maps.

WWE Studios is back bringing you sequels to all the movies you adored, like The Marine and Jingle All the Way. Yes, WWE is hooking up with Fox to make The Marine 4, which will star The Miz reprising his role from The Marine 3, and Jingle All the Way 2, which will star Santino Marella alongside Larry the Cable Guy.

This according to Variety:

WWE star Mike "The Miz" Mizanin will return for "The Marine 4," after starring in the third outing last year. Should the film, which will also feature WWE Diva Summer Rae, prove a popular seller, the film could give Mizanin his first film franchise. Mizanin headlined the ABC Family comedy "Christmas Bounty" over the holidays.
The "Jingle" sequel, to be directed by Alex Zamm, will also feature WWE's Santino Marella. Film starts production in March and will become available on homevideo platforms this holiday. Zamm also directed direct-to-homevideo comedy "Tooth Fairy 2," also headlined by Larry the Cable Guy.

Jingle All the Way first came out in 1996, so it's unclear who, if anyone, was asking for a sequel. That same could be said for The Marine, of course, but these straight-to-DVD releases are typically cost-effective and mostly profitable, especially considering the promotional reach of WWE.

With the WWE Network about to launch, expect a ton of marketing for it.
