This month's musician shoutout goes to a group I recently, meaning like 2 weeks ago, found. This group would be in a hip-hop subgenre called Progressive, but I call it New Skool.They have that New Boyz/Black Eyed Peas sound with mixed with some Group 1 Crew. I think they could replace Group 1 Crew even without trying, but that's just an idea. Oh yeah, and get this they're missionaries.LOL! Anyways, this group is called Rhema Soul.

So, for the month of January( LOL even thoguh it is just about over) my verse is this. This whole month, this verse has been sticking out to me. I like it, especially for the times we live in right now. I ask God to lead me and guide me. Mostly, this verse stuck out to me because I always wondered 'let me hear what God is trying to tell me'. So, from what I know, I knkow this verse is in the beginning books of Revelation alot. Then every time I see it, I always underline it in memory of thinking 'God let me hear your voice'.

Wow, I haven't done one of these in awhile, but it's back. It's first Musiciian Shout out of the year 2010. WOW! So, since I love providing all the young peeps with Chirstian music that rocks, I came back with an artist that is blasting. HONESTLY, when I first saw his name I had this feeling like he was going to be good. So, I listened to some of his songs and MAN! was I right. If you like those old-skool lyrical flow style(late 80's to early 90's) mixed with the new-skool beat. You will like this guy.

Wow, so many things that could happen this year. All I know is that maybe by the end of this new year, I will be almost or halfway done with school. OMG! Then, I'll be at SJSU. SCARY! Another scary thing is, I'm going to be 20 yrs old this year. Now, that's what I call scary. I don't really do new year resolutions..WHY?..because I never stick with it. I think there was only one year I ever stuck with a resolution. 1 year, out all nineteen of them. So, instead of resloutions,I have goals. My goals are:

1) Keep doing my best in school.

2) Read atleast more than 16 books this year.- WHY? 16, because that's the amount I read last year.( As Talib would say 'You're such a nerd'. Yeah I know.)

3) Keeping my relationship with God. :D Thursdays!

4) Becoming a famous fashion photographer.

HARPSE on Black Tie Event...again

I figured out an outfit. Now I just got to go buy the last thing, and that is my hot pink tights. I not planning to go like regular Black Tie event attire, but more like BCBG/party night/H&M/VOGUE/whatever my style is. I wasn't feeling the whole ballroom gown WHY? because it was only for one night and I don't know when we'll have another one of these things.

So I guess I won't have a date WHY? because James is not able to go anymore because his dad said he couldn't stay with us this weekend. URRRGGGG!! Man! I really had a cute outfit for him too. Oh Well! I guess that means I'm going to be wearing the black tie tonight. Hehheheee! Oh! YEAh! that's right I'm wearing hot pink tights and a black tie (plus other things too lol). My clothes isn't what I like about my outfit;but, it's my accessories that I like!

One of my aphorism on fashion:

Girl, if you're outfit ain't bangin'; you're accessories should be!

Meaning, if you're outfit isn't that good. Then make sure the little things (i.e.: hair, hair accessories, tights, purse, shoes, etc..) are hot.

A Parka..

a parka is a type of heavy jacket with a hood, often lined with fur or fake fur, so as to protect the face from a combination of freezing temperatures and wind. However, throughout the years, parkas have been changed. In the beginning there was 1 type of parka; however, now there are 3(fashionly) known parkas. (There's probably more, it's just I'm not aware of it.) The 3 types are: Fishtail Parka, N-3B(aka Snorkel) Parka, and the Cagoule. Although, I'm not gonna talk about all of them. I'm just going to talk about the most fashionable one. The Fishtail Parka.

I asked one of my friends one time what she thought about parkas. And she said "Ewww! those things are so gross!" I thought "Hmmm"; on some guys I actually think it looks good. Well, anyways here this is what I'm talking about:

HARPSE on Black Tie Event...

So as you know, the Blue Bomber Black Tie Event is coming up very soon. More like next friday. And I somewhat have this imaginary outfit picked out for me. In involves a dress, my black boot/heels, a fake pearl haedband, and a cute messy looking bow. I guess for this event, I'll be going a little Vogue-ish. So I looked up what the regular attire is for these types of events, but I wasn't really feeling it. So Yeah, I decided to go with the Vogue.

However,also for these types of events, you usually go with dates, so my date is none other than Mr. James Le. I know haaha! cute. So, I manage on Black Friday,to do alittle GQ mens shopping for the bub. So this was my idea:

I know... SICK right. Well yeah that WAS my idea. I don''t know if it will still work though. Although, I did manage to actually find a nice Black tie.

Do you know how complicating it is just to find a new template for your blog... Geez! I never knew it was so hard. Well this template that I have right now, it's not staying forever. So don't get used to it. I'm trying to fnd a cool, urban, and indie layout for it. Anyways..

I know I've been gone for what.. 2 or 3 months( that's because I'm looking for layouts for this blog) but don't worry I'm not going hiatus on you. It's just I'm wating to remodel this puppy. Cause it needs it BADLY. Well anyways get back to ya' later..

Hmmmmm, well I've been getting some feedback on these kind of post and there weren't negative or positive but just feedback. So, as you know (talking to all the young girls & guys that like to ask me about good music) I love searching up good Christian artists for the young people that ask for it. I came across these music group, they are called the The Washington Projects. My recommendation is 5 stars. This group is what I call legit. They are a R&B mixed with Hip-Hop. From what I know of from my hip-hop knowledge, I can't really find a equivelant for these people. That's good because that makes them even better.
