]]> Harris County Cooperative Extension Program and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service presents Operation Clean Green , a community garden cleaning initiative. Harris County Extension agents are collaborating with the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department to restore the Tom Brooks green garden and greenhouse for Harris County youth. The event will consist of three groups rotating from garden , greenhouse, and landscaping beautifying the area. The groups will also receive technical information regarding planting from extension agents , take home information regarding Extension services, gain community service hours , and hangout in an serine environment with your family or co-workers. The Tom Brooks Garden is open to take all donations for example: seeds, soil, tools , volunteers , and refreshments. Please RSVP via the Eventbrite link.

]]> The Texas Watershed Steward Program is a free educational workshop designed to help watershed residents improve and protect their water resource. The program will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 12:30 to 4:30 pm at the Prairie View A&M Northwest Educational Bldg. 9449 Grant Road, Houston, Tx 77070. Free Lunch will be offered for attendees registered by April 22nd. Pre-register for the workshop by calling 979-862-4457.
