If you are a Potter fan who didn't particularly like the other games becuase of the lack of action, get this game.

EA built up the next shooter video game Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. Its producer is Electronic Arts. The game remain dedicated follower of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley on their chase to eliminate Lord Voldemort by demolishing his remaining Horcruxes.

You can't have huge expectations from this Harry Potter Video Game, because it's based on movie. Actually I was very distrustful, but.......?! The thruth was completely different.

Pros

The deep and gloomy atmosphere of Harry Potter movies is pretty well caught here.

- Excellent and realistic graphics.

- Highly detailed and very clear textures, ambient lighting.

- Тhe performance looks organic and authentic. А great variety of spells (you can match them during fight) and interesting battle.You have plenty arsenal of sniper rifle, grenade launcher, bubble shield.

- The heads-up display is great - no life bar, points.

- I thought this was awesome, making the game а lot more immersing, with enough room to enjoy the view.

- A great number of characters.

You're able to perform almost every substantial personality from the movie, although a few sections are pretty short, and the actual controls/spells tend to be similar amongst everybody.

Cons

- This Harry Potter Game truly does an excellent task of letting you relive the film as a video game, also it seems and performs pretty good.
In general, in case you loved the Harry Potter movies especially the last one,
( or HP books), I believe you will really enjoy this game in addition.

- Duration. It is not really the actual greatest online game (12 levels), but you have challenge modes, although they repeats of the levels from the story mode.

- The overall game could be a little bit repetitive.The idea is still the same, when you play as different characters.

- This is a battle game - there's no potion-making, quidditch matches, or any of the other gameplay strategies found in earlier HP games.

If you are aged between 7 and 12 then you should definitely play it! Reasons to buy it:
- the graphics in the game are exceptional, right down to the images of the characters;
- this pack contains those Potter games that were designed for the PC with mouse and keyboard controls;
- good camera;

It’s very interesting that even an old person like myself can learn to play it.As an adult whose not to pc game savvy, this is really fun. It's a lot like the books - a little mystery and fright but tons of fun and always interesting.
You’ll be extremely pleased with this set of games.I would reccomend these to any HP fan young or old.

Game Review

The best part of this Harry Potter Quidditch computer game is the world cup where the player can become the controller of an international quidditch team and fight there way to the top of the league.
Before you can get to the world cup you first have to beat the Hogwarts cup, which seemed to me to be like an enterance into the controls of the game. In this game you can play as all of the Hogwarts house teams and some of the international quidditch teams mentioned in the Harry Potter series.

The basic premesis of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix video game is you use the nunchuck to guide Harry around Hogwarts and complete little tasks assigned to you. One of the more major ones is trying to get everybody from the DA in the Room of Requierement which requires you to find everybody on your map and do things for them so that they agree to go.

Anyways, I personally like the game, because I get a feeling of accomplishment when I complete like a list of tasks, and that's basically what this game is.

I can assure you that this one, the Prisoner of Azkaban, beats more of the the Harry Potter games by a long shot. The graphics are many times better.You get to collect more shields, more beans, more stuff! You get to hang out at Fred and George's shop and buy whatever you want with the beans, cauldron cakes, and pumpkins that you find along the way. You can replay challenges and final exams.
The grounds and forest look amazingly realistic, a varied assortment of clouds pass overhead, and there are secrets and explorable areas galore. The scene where Harry first produces the full patronus is actually quite awesome.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Game Review

The game follows the movies version mostly and tries to stay with the book. The one thing I'm amazed at is the graphic detail of the world of Harry Potter and the vastness of the areas you can explore.The in-game duels are fun, but the multi-player duels are awkward. I think it's great how much control over things you have in the game. This is not a 'shooter' or fighting game. There are plenty of those to choose from in other ways. This is a story adventure and if you're a Harry Potter fan and for the price, I recommend it.

Game Review

The Goblet of Fire captures attention right from the start with stunning graphics and creative challenges and environments. This is an action Harry Potter game. Ilove it. The graphics are great. Really superb. Especially the mini movies in between levels. The characters are true to how they look in the movies. Thankfully, it's their real voices and not some hokey version of it.Taking advantage of the multiplayer format, you can play with up to two of your friends. So much more than experiencing the excitement of the game together.Great action game.If you remotely like the series, you will love the game.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 videogame is the most challenging yet, packed from start to finish with action and combat. Playing as Harry, you are on the run from the opening sequence, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes. There are no more lessons, no more training. This time the danger is real. It’s time to fight your life.This is a certified movie game – it’s not Gears of War. According to that , you have to know what you are receiving . Probably this is not the most finished shooter on the planet, however from a story viewpoint I discovered this to be entertaining.

The stealth sequences have been exciting and also from time to time kept me personally on the seat of my pants. I'm not really a die hard game player, so I in fact loved the fact that the enemies were not too hard for me personally to determine. The frantic pace of it was fun, and it left the door open for looking for techniques for various situations.
I will say that I had a hard time to tell what was good cover and what was bad cover in most Potter Games.

Pros

Pretty good graphics overall, and the scenery is pretty cool as well. I have the feeling that this game is the best one since the Prisoner of Azkaban game.It offers non-stop dueling, which is a pretty impressing feature as well. I really enjoyed the X BOX part. Everything was so realistic! As far as the Kinect mode goes, I've only played an hour of it and it gives the 360 version the edge over the PS3 version.

Though you are restricted to use three interchangeable weapons per mini game it is still a blast to play for the five minutes each mini game lasts.

Cons

The cut-scenes are a little bit drawn out, however I assume it is great if you wish to hear the story once again.The combats seem to get a little bit repetitive though.
The camera is at an position to where you can hardly even see in front of you, the spells are simply boring, the wand controls are really complicated and may hardly be modified. By the end of the game, you simply end up operating through the stage with your invisibility cloak on and prevent almost all contact with enemies, because you would like to reach the end of the game. The Kinect version especially needs a little more help.
There is a very brief information that literally flashes on the screen before each level and then nothing. I think either a tutorial or an accessible menu on spell usage is needed.
Many of the customers and critics are upset that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1video game has a complete revamp in gameplay.
I bought this game thinking the whole game is done through the Kinects, when in fact it is only a hand full of mini challenges.

Summary:

Overall, I think this is certainly a game that Harry Potter fans will enjoy. I have played almost all Potter games ever released, including the most recent HBP games on the Xbox 360.
What needs to be understood right off the bat about this game is it plays completely differently than its predecessors .

So, the graphics are not outstanding, but they're bar-none the best graphics seen before in a Potter games. I read some of negative reviews and I think people just don't know how to see a good game for being a good game. No glitches in this game at all.

If you are going to see the movie, you should give this one a try. That said, I don't regret my purchase and I really like the game.

I think this the best Harry Potter PC game.It starts out with a reasonably good 3D model of Harry being rescued in a flying car by his friends. You’ll find detailed and amazing graphics .The characters have expressions on their faces during captions and they move their mouths when they talk.You can explore the Hogwarts castle which has more corridors and places to go to. There are more ways to collect beans and wizard cards .I also loved the part with the snake and dueling is very fun. Overall, this game is definately worth buying and playing.
