you know that feeling...

2013-08-11T11:47:00.000-04:00

when you take a bite of deep dish (or some other equally cheesy pizza) and you are like "oh shit! this cheese might be so stringy I choke to death!"

Thats what this cat is thinking...

What I've been up to...

2013-01-23T20:09:00.000-05:00

So, I'm still alive! But I am working on a new wordpress site that hopefully I'll have up and running before the end of February.

In addition to that I've been working on lots of stuff... and to prove it I took pictures!

(vegas / letterpress / pizza shop window designs / DIY cat bed!)

gameboy color

Yes, I do feel old when I call my DS a "game boy" and get funny looks from the much younger generation. If I could just find my walk man... oh sorry ipod.

well you're WELCOME for this link to a free gameboy color emulator that lets you play all the oldies online. Maybe if I can get enough of those kids to try it I can make the game boy name cool again.

brimfield antique show

2012-05-16T21:50:00.000-04:00

So last weekend smith and I made the drive out to the Brimfield antique show to see what all the fuss was about. In one word it was amazing.

After about an hour and a half of driving we stumbled upon the mother load of awesome antiquing. I was in such awe at the number of people, smith had to remind me to pay attention to the road.

We walked around until I was sufficiently sunburned (doesn't take much lol). According to the map I printed ahead of time, we didn't make it thought more than 10% of the show in our 3 hours of wandering.

At the end of the day we made it home with a William H Littlefield original and some very cool letterpress type. I'm going back for sure in July, September, next summer, ad infinitum. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out. But be sure to bring your water bottles - I have never seen such long lines for lemonade in my life!

sometimes you have a problem, and most of the time the only reasonable solutions is to put a horse's head in someones bed. Bloody sheets aren't anyone's favorite thing - so consider this much cuter alternative that your enemies can cuddle without having to worry about the clean up.

or, you know, get one for yourself. I'm seriously considering it.

omg moving sucks. There is so much stuff! How did I get all this stuff? Why did I think it was necessary to buy all this stuff?

The good news is I have officially moved to a bigger apartment and for the first time in my life i dont own enough lamps. I didnt think it was possible, but apparently it is.

Unfortunately I am too tired to care. So harve, polly and I will be sleeping during every minute of our spare time until all the boxes are officially gone (or clawed to shreds.. whichever comes first).

Ok, I'm going to start by saing I dont wear a lot of jewelry (ok, none). But I am head over heals for pretty much every item over at 443jewelry on Etsy. The dipped metal style contrasts the chunky stone texture so well I simply cant help but drool.
