&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Type: Full-time permanent position as an employee of Harvey Nash (Benefits and vacations time included)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Overview:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;At least 5 years experience as a Systems Engineer. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;At least 10 years IT Infrastructure experience. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Daily support of a very active, fast-paced, high volume, Trading environment. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Work flexible hours including late nights and weekends as needed. Very minimal travel required. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation processes. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Manage and coordinate complex hardware/software deployments. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Responsible for day-to-day implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including all hardware, software, telephone, and turrets. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;The ability to support remote offices as needed. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Submit application-packaging requests and certify for production. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Support application deployments. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Support Active Directory (AD Security), Printer Servers, Networking devices (Patching, Testing, and Support), NAS File Security, BCP (Setup, Configuration, and Testing), and Firewall Rules. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Responsible for day-to-day support, and maintenance of infrastructure, including ?all hardware, software, and telephones. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Documentation of all systems including existing and new application, scheduled maintenance, and incoming direct wires/demark information. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Ambitious and willing to learn new technologies. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Excellent communication skills, both written and oral will be needed as well as strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Proven track record of meeting operational deadlines and service level objectives. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Ability to multitask. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Suggest alternative methods and procedures for solving problems and meeting changing priorities. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Working knowledge of Call Tracking/Knowledge Warehouse systems. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Outstanding customer service skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Superior organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up &lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE &amp;amp; SKILLS:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong knowledge of Market Data applications including Thompson One, Bloomberg, and Fidessa. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Windows XP/7 skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Outlook 2010 skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Office 2010 skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Scripting skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Networking skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Print Server skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong knowledge of Server 2008 including Active Directory. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong knowledge of Exchange 2010. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong knowledge of Switches and Routers. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong knowledge of Cisco VOIP phones. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Blackberry and iPhone skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Strong Blackberry Administration Server (BAS) skills. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Working knowledge of IPC Trading Turrets. &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Working knowledge of Data Centers (Rack and Stack Data Center Equipment). &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Working knowledge of RSA and Secure ID's. &lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;
