	<title>Data Center Facilities Manager</title>        
<description>&lt;P&gt;24x7 Datacenter Facilities Manager – Houston, TX&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;12-18 month contract, potential for permanent&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring all datacenter facility programs and operations for two very large data centers in and Jacksonville, FL and a new location TBD. Will be responsible for ensuring all IT Infrastructure Projects/Activities within the region will follow the established Project Management Methodologies, track progress and to communicate events and status to management. Plan and oversee all DR tests for the Region working with the project managers and global solutions. Overall responsibility for the creation of a capacity model for infrastructure components, including but not limited to: server, network, storage, database and distributed system applications, to predict future infrastructure and application capacity needs. Manage service level agreements (SLA’s), documentation and change control process and ensure that modifications are consistent with infrastructure and application architecture specifications as well as security policies. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Manage datacenter physical environment, electrical, cabling, security (physical/logical), fire suppression, hvac and ensure corporate policies are followed.&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Lead Datacenter projects/activities utilizing a structured project management methodology. Manage staff assignments to support internal and external projects/activities to ensure they are delivered to meet bus requirements, schedules, quality &amp;amp; budget.&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Manage change control / issue / risk tracking process and ensure changes are consistent with infrastructure &amp;amp; application architecture specifications including security and disaster recovery review.&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Perform datacenter recovery capacity planning with key IT technology groups in support of specific business units’ current, planned and new initiatives, with a major focus on proactively ensuring an adequate recovery network and IT processing environment, as well as accurate and predictive budgeting&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Assist with the execution of the disaster recovery plan when a business or IT operations disruption occurs and with event impact assessment and disaster declaration activities, as required. &lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Respond to capacity planning requests for the following hardware/software platforms (HP/Sun/Unix and WinTel and associated Infrastructure Applications).&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Identify application performance bottlenecks and recommend remediation strategies.&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Assist in the planning, managing and implementing system engineering projects as they relate to capacity and performance tuning activities. &lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Work with change and configuration management process managers to develop impact analysis on capacity because of changes. &lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Develop performance and capacity reports for senior management.&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Work to support key service-level goals, including average response time, mean time to repair, customer satisfaction and customer productivity. &lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Leverage IT service and support best practices and process frameworks such as ITIL&amp;nbsp; to drive continual process improvements. &lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Maintain business controls to exceed requirements specified by ISO 27001 and SAS70. Process improvements based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library ITIL framework. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;BS Degree in Computer Science, Master’s Degree preferred&lt;BR&gt;ITIL Foundation Certification preferred&lt;BR&gt;Must have 10+ years of IT &lt;BR&gt;Must have prior very solid DRA experience&lt;BR&gt;Must have strong experience with infrastructure performance assessments, analysis and root cause in Linux, Unix and Windows&lt;BR&gt;Must also have experience with outsourcing providers – this is a strong key requirement for this position&lt;/P&gt;
