Network Engineer � Boston, MA

Permanent Opportunity
� - Install, configure, troubleshoot, operate and maintain the following equipment:
� -Cisco Catalyst and Nexus network switches and routers
� -Cisco ASA firewalls and wireless controllers and access points
� -Cisco load balancers including CSS and CSM
� -Cisco SSL offload devices including SSLM and CSA
� -Juniper SRX and ISG firewalls
� -F5 LTM and GTM application load balancers
� -Solarwinds Orion, syslog and Cattools monitoring and alerting systems
� -Cacti and Zenoss monitoring systems
� .Support production application and development teams as SME on routing, switching and load balancing
� .Support application teams with troubleshooting custom web based applications
� .Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7/365 data center operations
Qualifications:
� .5-7 years of IT experience in various application delivery environments
� .CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent level network experience with Cisco routers, Catalyst and Nexus switches.
.Extensive experience with Load Balancing on various platforms including Cisco CSS/CSM and F5 LTM
.Mid level routing and switching experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus
� .Mid level security experience with Cisco and Juniper firewalls
.Mid level experience with networking hardware
.Mid level TCP/IP knowledge
.Mid level packet level troubleshooting capabilities
.Mid level experience decoding packet captures
.Mid level experience with web applications
� .Familiarity with SNMP
.Some experience in high-uptime environments is desirable
.Excellent written and oral communication ability
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) or equivalent experience required
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent experience preferred
