	<title>Service Control Manager</title>

&lt;LI&gt;Experience supporting and troubleshooting a large Routing / Switching environment 
&lt;LI&gt;Experience supporting and troubleshooting a multi vendor firewall environment 
&lt;LI&gt;Experience capturing and decoding data with Sniffer and Niksun capture devices 
&lt;LI&gt;Qualified candidates should be able to explain the following: 
&lt;LI&gt;The process to locate the offending device that caused a dup IP issue... 
&lt;LI&gt;IP addressing schemes 
&lt;LI&gt;Problems that would be caused if speed/duplex miss matches were configured / incorrect subnet masks or gateways configured 
&lt;LI&gt;Knowledge of routing protocols and be able to describe troubleshooting steps they would take to resolve network outages - network unreachable, report of a server down, switch down, router down 
&lt;LI&gt;Experience with calling out circuits to carriers and follow up 
&lt;LI&gt;Spanning tree protocol (whether used or not, we find that in almost all cases, a qualified network technician should be able to explain what STP is used for and what can go wrong with it) 
&lt;LI&gt;Basic understanding of DNS &amp;amp; TCP/IP troubleshooting &lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;
