Technical Support Analyst / Help Desk Support Professional

Description:
Experienced and results oriented Information Technology professional who has demonstrated the ability to think with the big picture in mind. Familiarity with voice and data networking technologies considered a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft domain and networking technologies is essential including: Windows 7, Office 2010, Smart Phones, Video Conferencing, TCP/IP, VPN�s, firewalls, security and network management. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience.

Experience with Change Management, Problem Management and Project Management disciplines. Must possess the ability to effectively implement both tactical and strategic solutions. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required. A detail oriented person with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide end user support for our Windows 7 and Office 2010 environment
Provide support on all related desktop/laptop, printers, IP phones and Smart Phone devices
Participate in the desktop engineering process and configurations
Participate in developing and documenting standards
Conduct end-user training sessions and develop end-user training guides
Manage third party vendor relationships
Participate in testing and the production rollout of strategic technical solutions

Key Expectations:

Provide outstanding customer service
Improve utilization of IT resources.
Demonstrate foresight and the ability to plan accordingly.
Effectively communicate the status of open / closed issues to users and management

Requirements:

4+ years Help Desk or Deskside support or related experience
Knowledge of networking technology, standards and terminology.
Specific knowledge should include, but not be limited to: Windows 7 and Office 2010, Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, security policies and domain administration
Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
