At Huronview Home for the Aged, after a short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 of Exeter in her 86^th year.  Loved wife for 65 years of Woodrow (Woody) Davidson.  Loving mother of Ken and Sandi Davidson of Grand Bend and Craig and Carol Davidson of Exeter.  Loving grandmother of Scot Davidson and his friend Teresa, Laura and Jodi Craig, Matthew Davidson and his friend Carley, Kari Davidson, Karla and Matt Simpson and 5 great-grandchildren: Corey, Victoria, Maryn, Hayden and Declan.  Survived by her sister-in-law Dorothy Wolfe of Melbourne.  Predeceased by an infant grandson Mark Warren, her parents Doris and Lawrence Babcock, brothers Lyle and Clint Babcock and sister MaryNarine Fraser.  Shirley was a long-time resident of Exeter.  She enjoyed music and was a member of the Jazz Club in Florida and London.  Many thanks to the staff at Huronview for their care of Shirley and their compassion to our family. 

There will be no funeral home visitation.  A private, family graveside service will be held at Exeter Cemetery.  Cremation has taken place.

After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, H. Jeanette Gregory peacefully passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 6, 2012.  She had just celebrated her 71st birthday.  Loving wife of Milt Gregory for 49 years.  Devoted mother and grandmother to Carol and Scott Rachuk (Kristen & Julia), Lisa and Bob Milligan (Carson & Leah), Brian and Tanya Gregory (Jake & Holly), Janet and Steve Lange (Kaden, Brent (wife Shauna), Connor & Riley).  Great Grandmother to Brayden & Brooklynn.

She lived each and every day to its fullest, teaching us many life lessons including the importance of family. Jeanette was an elder of the Ilderton United Church and a past member of the Ilderton Fair Board.

A visitation and funeral will be held in the near future and arrangements will be updated when confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank, the Canadian Cancer Society, MS Society of Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ilderton United Church.

Passed away at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Friday, May 4, 2012 of Exeter in his 89th year.  Dear husband of Grace A. (Upshall) Adkins.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on February 16, 2012.  Father of Dianne and Bill Dietrich of Waterloo, Bruce and partner Brett McLennan of Kitchener, Audrey and Peter Dakin of London and Sueanne Adkins of Exeter.  Grandfather of Tim and Rosie Dietrich, Christopher Dietrich; Lauren Dakin and Gregory Dakin and great-grandpa Wilmer to Vanessa and Charlotte Dietrich.  Brother of Stewart and Janice of Winnipeg, Jack of Clinton and Donald and Diane of Sarnia.  Brother-in-law of Joyce Adkins, Margaret Upshall, Elaine Harburn, Bob Upshall and Jeanette Clarke, Doug and Faye Upshall and Don and Betty Upshall.  He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his parents Henry and Violet (Fuss) Adkins, brother Howard, sister Shirley Powell and her husband Ernie, brothers-in-law Jack Upshall and Don Harburn and sister-in-law Beverly Adkins and Kay Cook.

Wilmer drove a transport truck for Hensall Co-Op, Guenther Tuckey and Laidlaw Transport.  He was a member of the IOOF Lodge #67 for 73 years.  He enjoyed curling, lawn bowling and watching his grandchildren’s sports.
