Description of New American Bible Revised Edition

This kindle version of the New American Bible Revised Edition has been reviewed and approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Released on March 9, 2011, the New American Bible, Revised Edition (NABRE) is the culmination of nearly 20 years of work by a group of nearly 100 scholars and theologians, including bishops, revisers and editors. The NABRE includes a newly revised translation of the entire Old Testament (including the Book of Psalms) along with the 1986 edition of the New Testament.

The NABRE is a formal equivalent translation of Sacred Scripture, sponsored by the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, using the best manuscripts available. Work on most books of the Old Testament by forty revisers and a board of eight editors began in 1994 and was completed in 2001. The 1991 revision of the Psalter, the work of thirty revisers and six editors, was further revised by seven revisers and two editors between 2009 and 2010. Work on the New Testament, begun in 1978 and completed in 1986, was the work of thirteen revisers and five editors.

The Catholic Bible, it is worth whatever price, but a very good price
This is the Word of God, I would say that it is of inestimable value. But if you have something of value discount of 50% have, what a blessing! I was very pleased to see them for $ 0.99 at the Kindle store. Even at full price, it would make more sense than most of the Catholic Bible to be a multiple of the price, but a reduction of 50%, which is even better.
I love the King James Bible. For me, the Bible is the language of poetry and beauty that competes in a Protestant King James Bible. I was very happy to finally release of the Kindle and read a little "every day.

This book changed my whole outlook on life. I So far, all that have touched that book have become believers. I have seen Sylvia on several television shows and she is truly amazing. As a young child, I had such a hard time with a belief in a vengeful and wrathful God, who would take my 10-year-old cousin from this Earth by giving her an inoperable a brain tumor, which left half of her face paralyzed. She was very young and suffered for the last three years of her short life. NOW, I know that it wasn't that conventional God that took her, but that her blueprint dictated that she would only be here a short time to learn her lesson that she had decided on from the Other Side. Everything in this book makes total and complete sense, which is something I cannot say for today's religions. Good work Sylvia!
