Newest Drop: 5950 Pirates Fitted for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Pearls

Check out one of our latest Pittsburgh Pirates fitted hats that make a perfect match for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Pearls.

Over the past year, we’ve been treated to a grip of Foamposite sneakers including the likes of the Foamposite Cough Drops and Coppers. Possibly the most anticipated Foamposite drop of 2010, the Pearls released this past Friday at Nike retailers for $200. These kicks disappeared off shelves pretty quick; considering these dropped last year as well in limited quantities so sneakerheads made sure not to miss out on this year’s release.

Pictured below here is our New Era 5950 Pittsburgh Pirates hat to match the Nike Air Foamposite Pearls. Done up in a pearlescent-white stone crown and black visor, the Pirates “P” lets people know which foams exactly you’re rocking. It is embroidered in black with a white outline to nicely match these Foamposite Pros.

Newest Drop: 5950 Fitted Yankees 2000 Subway Series Hat

Here’s a look at one of our latest New York Yankees custom fitted hats that just dropped recently as the 2000 World Series showdown between the New York Mets and the Yankees nears it’s 10th year anniversary this October.

The Bronx Bombers took the series in 5 games for their third straight championship and last one until their 2009 World Series triumph over the Phillies. It marks, to date, the last World Series with a repeat champion.

Pictured below here is our New Era 5950 Fitted Yankees Subway Series hat. The hat is done up in Yankees’ navy blue with the classic “NY” in white embroidery. The 2000 World Series patch is stitched on the left wearer side. A crisp gray under-visor and white sweatband complete the nostalgic look from the MLB days of yesteryear.

Newest Drop: 5950 Expos Fitted for the Nike Air Max 95 Grapes

Here’s a look at one of our latest Montreal Expos fitteds that dropped recently that make a perfect match for the Nike Air Max 95 Grapes.

The Grapes colorway for the Air Max 95’s features a darkening fade from the midsole to the tongue with accents of purple and teal. To give it some more flare, Nike added patterned laces to finish off the shoe.

These Air Max 95’s released about a month ago in July that became a big hit for Nike-heads everywhere.

Pictured below here is our New Era 5950 Montreal Expos hat to match the Air Max 95 Grapes. Done up in a black crown and gray visor, the old school Expos’ team logo is embroidered in a teal, white and purple color combo that match the Air Max 95’s perfectly.

A refreshing return to the good ole days of the 80s and 90s where the “action flick’” was prevalent in cinema theaters is offered with Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables which officially released last week.

Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Mickey Rourke, Steve Austin along with brief cameos from Bruce Willis and The Governator comprise a dream team cast that features action stars of yesteryear mixed with a couple of contemporary ones from this past decade.

With names like those listed above, plot description is not necessary. Any breathing human male with a live pulse is required to see this.

Newest Drop: Crooks & Castles Fall 2010 Line Arrives @ Hat Club

Here’s a look at a few of the latest hats from Crooks & Castles we just received from their Fall 2010 line.

The first hat pictured below here is a New Era 5950 fitted done up in a black crown and cardinal red visor with the iconic “C” Chain logo in white.

The next hat pictured below here is an exclusive collaboration between the Crooks & Castles family and Los Angeles-based Hall of Fame. Done up in an all navy crown and visor, the three C’s logo draws inspiration from past Hall of Fame releases and is a play on the 3 H’s caps they’ve dropped in the past.

The final hat pictured below here is a New Era 5950 fitted done up in all red crown and visor. The front logo features interlocking C’s in a white thread.

Crop of 2010 MLB Rookies with NCAA Experience Paying Big Dividends

The 2010 MLB rookie class has been nothing short of amazing as this current class has made the Rookie of the Year race one of the more intriguing awards races in recent memory.

An interesting trend to take note of is the amount of former NCAA college players making an impact on their respective teams so quickly with little to no time in the Minors.

The Washington Nationals’ Stephen Strasburg hasn’t had any rookie-like starts until his return from injury Tuesday night against the Marlins.

Just 2 years out of Florida State, Buster Posey has single-handedly sparked an anemic San Francisco Giants’ offense into the thick of the NL Wild Card race.

Mike Leake went from dominating the Pac-10 at Arizona State in 2009 straight to the Majors this year with the Cincinnati Reds; being one of the main forces that have kept the Reds in 1st place the majority of the season. Another former Sun Devil; 1st Baseman Ike Davis has given the New York Mets some hope for the future with his 15 home runs and 54 RBI’s heading into Tuesday, just 2 years after being drafted.

In a nod to electrifying rookie phenom pitcher Stephen Strasburg, pictured below here is our Zephyr 2Tone San Diego State Aztecs done up in a gray crown and black visor. The front logo has the Aztecs’ logo embroidered on front.

Our next hat pictured below is a nod to baseball power-house Arizona State University that regularly pumps out future MLB players with our fitted Zephyr that is done up in an all black crown and visor with the interlocking “AS” logo embroidered in the school colors of maroon and gold.

Sneak Peek: The Latest from HUF

Here’s an early sneak peek at some of the newest HUF hats we just got in today.

Pictured below here is a New Era 5950 HUF hat that’s done up in a light navy crown and light blue visor. The front logo brings back the old school look with the cursive script that’s clean and crisp with the white thread.

The next hat pictured below is a vintage-style adjustable tuck strap hat that is done up in a dark gray crown and visor. The familiar HUF “H” is embroidered in a gold thread that gives it some pop.

Be on the lookout as there are more HUF hats we’ll be dropping in the next few days in other colors and styles.

Newest Drop: New Era 5950 Warriors Fitted for the Copper Foamposites

Here’s a look at one of our latest New Era 5950 San Francisco Warriors fitteds that just came in this week to match the Copper Nike Air Foamposites.

Originally released in 1997 in the neon royal/black colorway, the Nike Air Foamposite was made famous by Orlando Magic star Penny Hardaway and also worn by Mike Bibby his freshman year leading the Arizona Wildcats to the NCAA Championship.

The shoe was ground-breaking in technology and design as more than a decade later, foamposite technology is still around and used today. The original molds were destroyed but new ones were made to produce retro’s of the original colorway and a host of new colors including the Copper’s.

The Copper Foamposites were released earlier this year in February and immediately sold out all over across shoe retailers.

Pictured below here is our New Era 5950 San Francisco Warriors hat to match the Copper Foamposites. Done up in an all black crown and visor, the Warriors’ throwback logo from their days playing in San Francisco is embroidered in a metallic copper thread that make a perfect match for the Copper Foamposites.

The hat is now available for order on our site on HatClub.com along with a whole new set of styles and colorways we just dropped for the month of July.
