HAPPY BIRTHDAY HATTIE !

April Fool.....Yo!

2011-04-01T16:50:00.000+01:00

April the First...oh yeah, can't catch me out.............I'm on the look out for any little tricks that may come my way.............

Got to be honest, Mummer spotted this one first........she can be canny when she wants!
Someone's stuck an apple here.........looky, on the tree.......

................and another here................good eh?

Now, I found this one my darlinngs, and was rubbing my neck, this way and that way................you know how ya do................ah! loverly..........dead bird.............UNTIL....

.........Mummer found out what I was doing. Let's just say, "She wasn't ready for that one!" One all!

And then I won the final round...........by "not coming back"! Yup, not coming back to have my lead put on.......................... Mummer was quite frustrated by the end.
She thought I'd grown out of all that! April Fool Mummer!

Seems she was quite glad to get me back in the car.........

The Big Clean Up......

2011-03-28T18:00:00.000+01:00

Sunday morning stroll, look left, and what have we here, my lovelies.......

Soldiers, soldiers ......on the River Front (Our River Front) with rope.....

Stand to ATTENTUN!

"Thames21".....amazing charity........cleaning OUR River..........LOOK..........

Don't look this way Darlings, nothing to do with me...........

And there's the rest of it......................Yay!

Yeah, looks friendly, trying to charm me, but I've got 'is number........
if that's going over the edge........I'm watchin' guys.....I'm watchin'!!!

This trolley took AGES to heave up.........one, two, three........heave!!!

Big feet.........

Now this WAS scary...................

I had to paw it..............

........bark at it, to make sure it was COMPLETELY safe...
(and it was!)

Being the 'obligagitory' dog at these proceedings, (obviously
an important role) you can't help but end with a bit of mud on your nose!

It's a tough job.......

2011-03-22T10:23:00.000+00:00

A parcel....yay! Addressed to Yours Truly.......... Smells So Good!

I know a good parcel when I smell one!

OMG....... REAL TASTY TREATS.........................

I'm the super taster of super tasters........ They've sent these to ME to
sample (are they MAD!)....before they're marketed!

All from Lizzie's Barkery (get it?). Lamb and mint, liver and garlic,
Banana and peanut butter, salmon, cheese and apple.....

Hold on................I think there's more..............

Yup............... turkey roast.......

Hold on...........not sure, can we start again....there was one there
..........I felt needed slightly more ............Doh!

Bens' Birthday

2011-03-10T09:35:00.000+00:00

Bens Birthday.......35 todayand we visit him in his flat! Let's first
of all check the contents of the bag......

Uh! There must be something else to do.......

Shrieks at this point from Ben as my legs and cables became entwined
Mummer never panics, Ben is suggesting
I visit less often.....like never! Eek!

We're 12 floors up, and can see right over London.....

I wonder whats going through Bens mind at this point......

Mummer gets out a stuffie for me..........

Always good when you're under stress..................

Ah! That'll do........ Happy Birthday Ben!

An' it's all for Charidee.......

2011-03-06T20:25:00.000+00:00

On yer marks.......wearing the ridiculous hat in public, we go
collecting.................... fer Charidee.............

Cute eh? It's for Marie Curie......nursing care for terminally ill
cancer patients.................mummer was affected by cancer
before she had me, hah! I was her gift to herself after chemo...
...........bloody good choice darlings, even if I do say it mayself,,,,,,,,,,,

Always ready to help....................

And at the end of the day, mummer found me alseep with this

my lovelies, in taking this picture, she's woken me............

Spring, my darlings........

2011-03-02T15:09:00.000+00:00

Spring, my darlings................has jolly well sprung.............

On a very sad note.......

2011-02-28T19:27:00.000+00:00

Yesterday.......we walked down the end of 'our' pier to find
tributes to a 19 year old lad who last Sunday, threw himself
from the end................... OMG just 19!

RIP Frankie !

Our morning walk......

2011-02-17T19:22:00.000+00:00

OK guys.......off we go...........Every morning, I insist Mummer takes me to check out
                           the English Woodland...........oh yeah!

We stop to sniff......................

Now, do I want that stick.........

Tempting.............

But no........really can't be bothered much this morning with the
old 'stick carrying' routine.........

Bloody squirrels, darlings, have taken every single last one............

Steady.........action shot!

We're here for bout an hour, so plenty of time to munch a bit of grass if I'm
in the mood....................

.................. or hide!

At the end of 'our' walk, Mummer lets me 'socialise'..........they're
lucky to have me darlings, lucky to have me!

Got any food.................?????

Preparing for Valentines Day

2011-02-14T09:41:00.000+00:00

Mummer went shopping to buy 'beloved' a Valentines Gift...................and came back with this......
FOR MOI! He He!!!!

She then must have found THIS..........

(note the stuffing simply 'falling' from my bedding......he he!)

The Year of the Rabbit.........

2011-02-07T11:11:00.000+00:00

30 minutes on the train, being particularly winsome.......

The wishing tree....................to carry your wishes to the heavenly realm......STILL NO RABBITS!

MORPH PEOPLE.......Interesting..........but still no rabbits.......

Ah well, Happy New Year xx

2011-01-27T14:46:00.000+00:00

I can go from being a little aggressive..........

To being picture perfect........all on the same day! Ahh!

(Although I must say, that stick had it coming...........)

Flattie.......

2011-01-24T12:01:00.000+00:00

Don't worry about me, I'll be ok........

Painting.....

2011-01-18T13:18:00.000+00:00

The kitchen is getting a lick of paint! Ha ha.....I'm getting ahead of myself.......I can .lick it off really quickly, but mummer won't take a picture of that........too busy stopping me! Ha!

I sit on the chair, (yeah, the one I'm not supposed to sit on.....) and watch the activity.........

What'dya think? Good eh?

Like to help in small ways, darlings....................

Our gift arrives....

2011-01-16T14:56:00.000+00:00

Mummer had to rescue the inside knitting softie somewhat swiftly..........
from my ever waiting jaws of curiosity.....

What is it Mummer, show me, show me........LET ME 'VE IT! DELIVER INTO THESE WAIITNG
JAWS!

It's our beautiful hand knitted basket from Maggie and Mitch. Thank you so much. All the way from
Connecticut, USA. They have a very talented mummer............
I feel like an International Airedale now.........

I've been SO good......

2011-01-12T17:13:00.000+00:00

Well, to be honest, I've NOT been so good. Usual stuff........not coming back off the lead........
        blah blah blah.........
Mummer says she's now putting me on intensive training...........I have to EARN everything!
My darlings, what next? This is me in a 'down stay'! Good eh?

And a 'sit stay'. How can the woman complain?

From mummer....

2011-01-09T11:56:00.000+00:00

Sometimes It Is Just Not The Place To Be

Time to move on and find a new place.

New Year ramblings from mummer, sober........and reflective!

The Pier

2011-01-08T14:46:00.000+00:00

As you can see darlings, it's a bit of a gloomy day. But nothing stops our little outings. Today, we're
along Erith Pier on the River Thames.......

The tide is just starting to come in....... the odd shopping trolley down there.......

Let's leave no stone unturned.......or bin....you never know darlings......

I can't imagine the repercussions...............ouch!

And at the end of the pier, what have we here......... what looks to be the perpetraitors
of said 'back casting'. Very dangerous for passing dales......

Right, I think we've cleared that one up, then! NO MORE BACK CASTING!

On the way back I spy.......well do you like my preying pose? They'll never see me.....

Except by the time I get there, they're ALWAYS gone! Bugger darlings!

Still, nice little find here. Managed to grab a few mouthfulls.......noodles! Always ready to experience new delights...........mmmmm!!

Happy New Year My Darlings....

Too late darlings! I had a wonderful time........ate the entire ball, and sicked it up
four hours later! In the front room! In the middle of the carpet!
In front of everyone! A good time was had by all...........

2010-12-13T08:50:00.000+00:00

Puppys' first taste of snow......in the garden.......

A-ha.......and here we have..........

A bird table......the purpose of which mummer? Food for the birds? Did you say FOOD?

Check it.................

At this point my darlings, words were thrown at me.......make of them what you will, and in any order......... SELFISH, DOG, BIRDS, BLOODY, GREEDY, HUNGRY, SOD.............

Sometimes, darlings, a dales hearing becomes, shall we say, snow bound...........
