1855 Clanton Bible Is Found!

This was actor Terry Ike Clanton's lucky weekend to say the least. This weekend Clanton recieved a Clanton family bible dating back to 1855. Ike's cousin Greg (Ike's fathers sisters son) found the bible in an old trunk after his mother passed away.

Inside the bible was information that his priceless! Birth and death dates going all the way back to the early 1800's. Wedding invitations, notes, newspaper articles, insurance papers, deeds, even J.M. Clanton's business card was in the tatered old bible!

Ike will be making copies and uploading pictures to the history section of www.TombstoneArizona.com real soon!

Ike's Physical Therapy Is Going Well!

Ike Clanton and his physical therapist's (Michelle & Heather) enjoy an Angel game on August 8th at Angel Stadium. The Angels beat the Yankees 10 to 5. Ike's back injury is improving but he still needs a lot more physical therapy to get his full range of motion back after breaking his back (L1) on May 25th in a boating accident on Lake Havasu.

I have been in the Screen Actors Union since 1986. As the SAG Union celebrates it's 75th year in 2008, trouble is brewing with the AFTRA Union over new studio contracts. SAG & AFTRA members were suppose to be band together as one union, but AFTRA went ahead and signed new contracts with the studios without SAG members approval. This is quickly becoming a touchy subject. All SAG members need to VOTE NO and support our SAG negotiators!

Actor Terry Ike Clanton Injury Update With Good News!

Actor Terry Ike Clanton went back to the doctor today. The doctor told him that he only has to wear his back brace 10% of the time now, and when he's going to be around groups of people. This is very cool news because the doctor had originally prepared him to wear it for 3 months! It's only been six weeks but the doctor said the fracture is healing well. The photo above is the brace Ike wore for the first three weeks. He now only wears the bottom part around his mid section now.

Ike will begin 3 days a week of physical therapy tomorrow.

Hey Everyone -

Thanks again to all of you that have sent me get well cards, letters, emails and posted comments on my personal myspace page. My broken back is slowly healing. I have to wear a body brace for the next 3 months so my activity level is going to be a little different this summer. The small Acting Workshop I was planning for the summer months will become part of the Haunted Saloon for now. My intentions are to bring established actors and actresses together once a week in southern California to have FUN and work on their craft. Auditons for new people will also be considered.

Hey Everyone -

I want to thank everyone for your concerns, love, support, prayers, emails, cards, letters and telephone calls during this difficult time in my life. As you probably know I broke my back in a boating accident May 25th at Lake Havasu. I am currently at home resting and dealing with pain management. I've had a tough time dealing with the pain but today I've finally been able to cut back to one pain pill every four hours.

The doctors told me that I'm very lucky that I'm not paralized. They also tell me that I will fully recover from this and not have to have back surgery. Thank God for all the positives.

Internet TV star Terry Ike Clanton (Haunted Saloon Show) still plans to announce the speedway motorcycle racing events on Saturday nights at the Orange County Fairgrounds even though he was seriously injured May 25th in a boating accident which broke his back. "I'm in a lot of pain but I've got to get back to what I do" says Clanton.
