~Coral Wonderland Melaka - A Must Visit Destination When You're In Melaka (Part 1) (^_^)v

♥ Happy 3rd day of Chinese New Year to all! How was your celebration? I hope each and every one of you get plenty of red packets a.k.a ang pows besides spending quality time with your loved ones. :) Recently before CNY, I had the opportunity to visit one of Melaka's newest attractions - Coral Wonderland situated on the 4th floor of Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall.

♥ What is so special about the Coral Wonderland in Melaka? Well, it is the largest coral aquarium in Malaysia and has the largest touch pool in Asia with over 1,000 colourful species of marine fishes and corals. Being curious, I just have to check out the place myself and below are the photos I managed to take on that day. Enjoy browsing through the photos! :)

~Facial Masks For All Skin Types - Being Beautiful Starts At Home~ (^_^)v

♥ Facial masks play an important role in one's skincare regime and different types of masks cater to different types of skin types. A once a week affair and usually worn at night, masks are able to hydrate, rejuvenate, whiten, and even tighten the skin.

♥ So, let's add some spark to the new year with a few lovely beauty masks, shall we? For today's beauty tips, I'll share several types of facial masks for all skin types. Who says beauty treatments are expensive? The kitchen is the best place to start and you'll be surprise at what you can concoct from everyday food items that can soothe the stress away from your complexion. ;)

♥ No two person's skin are alike. Some of you may have oily skin that is prone to breakouts while others may have dry skin. Some even have a combination skin which involves an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Others may have sensitive skin which causes your skin to have breakouts when exposed to stress or pollution.

♥ Whatever your skin type is, come grab a bowl, push your hair back and mix away to create the perfect mask. It is always wise to to do a spot test by applying a little bitt of the mixture on the inside of your elbow then wait several minutes to see if there's any reaction. If there is, eat up the batch instead of applying it on your face. Now, have fun in creating your masks!^^

For all skin types

♥ Oatmeal and yoghurt face mask - To cleanse and rejuvenate skin

1 tablespoon oatmeal - finely ground
1 tablespoon plain yoghurt
A few drops of honey

Mix the yoghurt, oatmeal and honey together in a small bowl, then apply onto your face. Leave for 10 minutes, then rinse off with plenty of warm water. Apply your usual moisturiser. You can omit the oatmeal to make a yoghurt and honey mask which is great for sunburns. If your skin is oily, add in a few drops of lime juice as well.

For dry, chapped skin
♥ Avocado and honey mask - To moisturise the skin

Half an avocado
Quarter cup of honey

Mash the avocado in a bowl to a creamy pulp, then gently stir in the honey. Apply to your skin, then leave for 10 minutes before rinsing it off your face with a cool washcloth.

For dry, chapped skin
♥ Milk mask - To moisturise the skin
*This recipe is enough for 2 person

1 tablespoon powdered milk
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
2 drops of your favourite essential oil

Mix the ingredients together, then apply evenly to your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.

For oily and acne prone skin

♥ Banana mask - To soothe and cleanse oily skin prone breakouts

1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon honey
A few drops of lemon or orange juice

Mix the banana and honey together, then add a few drops of lemon juice or orange juice. Apply to the face for 15 minutes before rinsing off with a cool or cold washcloth.

For oily and acne prone skin
♥ Juice mask - To slow down the skin's production of oil
*This recipe is enough for 2 person

1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 egg whites
3 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of strawberries
4 drops of your favourite essential oil

Mash or blend all the ingredients in a bowl, then smooth over your face. Leave it on your skin for 10 minutes, then rinse off with plenty of water.
