It was another one of our random and precipitous outings.

Hearing rumors from around, about a shopping night that goes round the clock. We decided to make our night worthwhile. Honestly it wasn't really what we expected. Due to the fact that this kind of thing doesn't really happen very often, therefore leading a bunch of hungry shoppers to flood the mall. Making it almost impossible to even try on a pair of sneakers. Every store was packed, every escalator was lined up with people almost resembling the line at the carnival when you want to get on a ride. pfft.

But then again, it was a real good experience.

With every shop still open at 3am. Cafe's included.

How many times have you finally decided to eat that bag of fruits you bought two aeons ago just to be disappointed that it had already rotten?

In my student life i think that happens almost SO frequently that i have abandoned the sheer thought of buying fruits on a steady basis.

Here's a discovery of a grape worm. (Vermes Acinius) Latin for grape worm. (ok i made that up. But the latin terms are legit.)

Ever felt weird that whenever there is a worm inside your durian, or your apple or grape, It is sure to pop up just at the precise moment before you blissfully devour your fruit. Rarely you hear people shouting, "OH F*** i just bit of a worms head in my apple!!" Its as if the worms have some paranormal detection ability to understand NOT to be eaten.

Interesting isnt it?

Havent been updating in a while, im in a "go home" phase. Everything to me right now is just filling my mouth with a awesome slurp of bak kut teh soup and a cup of leong cha. LOL.

Having that said, moscow is still filled with interesting photo's to capture. Currently the weather now is -20'c. Thats colder than sleeping in your fridge. If you are still unsure of how cold -20'c is, lets say I had my bottle of water placed on the window still and it froze up. THATS how cold it is.

Assuming that there is no "just nice" selection, would you guys prefer hot weather (Klang valley hot) or ice cold? (not melbourne winter, but moscow winter cold.) Leave a comment below to let me know what you think!

Anyways, here's a upcoming update! I went to a mall which opened 24 hours for shopping. Awesome, but a heck load of people. Kinda made me feel like i was a character in "A Bugs Life".

Looking at differences of the female and male gender.

The Toilet:

An average male has about 6 things in the bathroom. (A shaver, body wash, body spray, a toothbrush that is aged 4 years, some toothpaste, soap/facewash.)

An average female has 436 (nearly a gadzillion) things in there in which a normal male would not be able to identify.

The Bedroom:

An average female has multiple box like things in her room, either to arrange her clothing (closet), sort her makeup (big briefcase), or sort her accessories (multi tiered expansion slots).

An average male has one closet. Either under the bed, or in the laundry basket.

The mentality:

An average female can perceive up to 10 different emotional aspects upon entering a conversation.

An average male only understands sex or no sex.

The Magazines:

An average mens magazine is usually clad with women dressed in skimpy clothes.

And average woman's magazine is also filled with women dressed in skimpy clothes. This is because a womans body is trully a work of art, and a mans body is just a hairy lumpy piece of meat that would only be fit if we lived on planet of the apes.

Surfing the net i found a bunch of videos showing the tyranny of women. The phrase "hell hath no wrath like a womans scorn." really applies in real life.

Stumbled upon an interesting video about the war on camera brands. Looks like the world of cameras just isnt that different compared to the human world, where differences do predominate the scene. I wonder why is that so. Beneath the layers of the skin, the vocal slits and the hair. We all have the same structure, with the same bone composition, the same variety of blood types. Yet we all think we're different. How interesting.

You have to admit that it does have a catchy tune to it. LOL.

Of course there is no objections to being special. Be special in your unique way. Like this transparent nikon d80.

Or this concept Nova camera by Canon.

Genius? Or retard, its up to you to perceive. That makes us special.

HOW TO MAKE A DIY CAMERA BAG.

Been a long time since i reposted. Back in the game again with one subject less! The thing about med school is that you cant loose your rolling ball. Because one you do, it just is very difficult to pick back up. I guess i can say the same about blogging. I really have to work on that.

Anyway, here's a small review about how i made my D.I.Y camera bag. I initially wanted to get a proper one, but the choices here are just either too expensive or not up to my taste. Therefore i planned to make one on my own, just as a temporary case to carry my camera around, until i settle for a sturdy one. It beats walking around with a camera strapped to your neck looking like a japanese tourist. (i have small eyes.)

HOW TO MAKE A D.I.Y CAMERA BAG WITH OLD UNUSED STUFF.

How i did it:

Stuff you need.

A snowcap. (make sure you get a tight fitting one, with thick paddings. I got a thinsulate one. use whatever is cheap. you can even use two.)

Bubble wrap (the more the merrier.)

A scarf. (i know it looks gay)

Ok maybe two.

A bag.

Some thread.

Firstly i folded the bubble wrap and placed it snugly at the bottom. You dont want to get your camera lenses all smashed up when you place your bag on the floor.

Put as many layers as you like, make sure it can handle a rough ride. If you have so much bubble wrap to make it bulletproof. By all means do it.

Secondly i cut up my scarf to fit the bottom. This is mainly for a smoother feel and look. I dont want anyone looking through my bag and see a heap of bubblewrap.

Next, i placed the snowcap, into the bag like this.

You can place another snowcap inside. Depending on how big your camera is. Make sure its snugly fit.

Then here comes the tricky part.

I sew my snowcap onto the bag. (well inside actually) Make sure its placings are accurate to ensure a good fit.

The other parts of the thick scarf is placed into pockets around the camera holster. Eg: the front and back portions. Keep some for wrapping the lenses.

Here's a final result of the bag. Im using a d60 as a model. (its built rather small, therefore it looks quite loose.) But with my camera, the 500D. It fit rather well. The cap is tightly sewn into the corners, therefore suspending the camera holster when you run, for minimal impact on your gear.

As for the lens. You can use a cardboard box and cover it with the remaining pieces of scarf. I didnt show it in this demonstration as the box had to be chosen based on what lenses you would like to put in.

I must admit that this bag is far away from being weatherproof. But it does beat some bags out there like the lowepro teraclime. Which IMO is a bag that doesnt really make sense besides being made of recycled material. (that didnt really make sense either)

This bag being self customized. Can give you the ultimate blend in at events which you dont want to be seen around boasting a big ass camera. Its also a save on cash too.

Dear readers, im currently planning to share a list of stuff that i want, hoping that one day, one of you happy readers out there would kindly send me a parcel with something in this list. Your sincerity will not be forgotten. (So sue me, i didn't get many presents when i was a kid.)

For the past 6 months I have been sleeping on something which i made myself, using two spare beds in my apartment. I call it the "bed on bed". (not girl on girl, which would have been awesome.)

Well honestly besides its "special function" to be able to split into two separate beds, and that it feels so soft that it makes you cry like the princess in princess and the pea, there really isn't much back support in it. Which would one day cause me to suffer from kyphosis before i die like the hunchback of notre dame.

Not too awesome, besides saving a buttload of money on a costume on Halloween.

Besides that, i do have a liking for design, and currently the one thing in my house that gives me an eyesore is the toilet (shaped like a cubicle). Who in his/her right mind designs a toilet so small that you cant even stretch your arms whilst you crap. Lets put it this way, if a claustrophobe would take a dump in my toilet, he'd probably have a seizure in there before he starts eating the toilet roll.

As you can see, there is no space for me to do ANYTHING while i take a dump, (not like i need to), and even looking for the toilet roll can sometimes turn into a game of "toilet twister".

So id hope my toilet to be redecorated by some celebrity interior designers as seen on tv.

Where a bunch of random people breaks into your house when you're asleep, and put you in a black bag when ur wearing ur underwear. Before u know it, your house gets turned into a bachelor pad with a billion plasma TV's and a swimming pool. How awesome is that.

On the other hand, id love to be able to see my girl's face again! Now that shes being all the way in australia, honestly, the only mode of communication is the internet (besides expensive phone bills). Therefore i would really want an air ticket to melbourne. Let me illustrate where my point stands.

Walking there isnt an option, neither is cycling.

Well internet communication really is a savior, besides the times when im away from home, at class or just eating dinner. Which then i have a problem. We all know how it is when women dont get their attention when they want it.

Till then... I can just hope santa comes early with a big fat cheque or a private jet. (Santa i hope you're reading this). I visited him when i went to finland.

So for the real treat. (for me) Id love to have a Dell Inspiron 13 Laptop!

As you might have guessed, based on its name, its a notebook with a 13 inch display. Now why would i need something like that? Well in my geek opinion, i think notebooks are meant to be portable.

The thought of a 17 inch notebook just doesn't really make much sense, due to the fact where laptops (no matter how big they are, just ain't gonna beat a desktop). So i wouldn't spend money on a "acclaimed powerhouse notebook". Id just get a desktop for my "power" needs and an awesome portable notebook that is always with me. Chase Jarvis had a famous quote that says, the best camera is the one you could carry with you. I could say the same for a trusty computer too. (I wouldn't lug around something as big as a luggage bag. Too unprofessional.)

The dell inspiron13 comes with a ultra slim design. Together with, imo an awesome screen, its a WLED build (white light emitting diode) Designed for saving a buttload of power and also giving it a brighter display.

Its really amazing that dell just hasn't took shortcuts in creating a affordable yet performance based notebook. Built with an integrated ATi graphics card, a (decent) kick ass processor, and bundled together with a 6 hour battery (means 6 hours of scouting chicks at your local library or starbucks).

You have got to be kidding me if you aren't going to get this for yourself. And it costs only RM2449......................................................................................

WTF, can you believe it, my dog just peed on my carpet!!!!!! Seriously alot of drama going on now, kinda like the ER, since he just peed like about a gallon of warm hot yellow pee on the floor, and making an impossible ruckus. (maybe it was because we slapped him.)

Midnight Coffee.

Wondered what to do on a wednesday night? Why not have some coffee!

Tho residing at our current residence for almost 7 months, we still have yet to try this small cafe just 5 minute walk away from my front door. That has got to be a load of bullcrap. Therefore we headed to "chill" at a place somewhat like a mamak inclusive of overpriced coffee and a load of smokers. The only thing missing was some oily bread, or rather known as roti canai.

The cafe name was CHOCOLATNITSA or in russian words: Шоколадница.

Honestly in my opinion, the coffee was just so-so, id give it a rating of 6.9/10 just passing the mark.

But the ambience was nice, it had a little "retro bar look" (ok maybe not so retro) Had cakes, fruits and almost every other thing you would like to find in a coffee shop. (well i dont mean to compare them with those "coffeeshops" in amsterdam.)

The waitressing was slightly poor, but hey its moscow, it ain't gonna get any better. Not in the near future.

Having nothing much to do, we thought of twofrontteeth's post about Zac Efron Read the post HERE. And decided to do something of our own, Just someone more famous then Zac.

At the end of our stay, we asked the waitress to help us take a picture to capture the memories here since i noticed we have quite a limited amount of group shots. I went on to make some adjustments to my camera and handed it over to her.

But i forgot to turn on my live view. So she was holding the camera and puzzling about how to use the dslr. She quickly noticed the small viewfinder and stared through it. Yeah not look at it, but stared through it. Holding the camera one feet away from her face.

That scene was so hilarious, i reckon that that moment we took one of the most natural smiles of all time. Kind of like those when you got a birthday present from your parents kind. Due to the fact we were so amused by that act.

From my childhood, i guess mooncake festival or formally known as the mid autumn festival, has always been one of my personal favorites, i get to eat sweet stuff till i puke, stay up late strolling in the park with my cousins and play with fire. Who wouldn't like that? Well it is all fun and games till someone burns their balls. Or drips candle wax on dad's toes.

Im glad that till this age, despite not being anywhere near our homes, my housemates still decided to do something for the mooncake festival. Which turned out pretty nice, i would say the only drawback about it was that we didn't have any lanterns to burn.

We prepared the usual malaysian routine when we are too lazy to cook dishes. Steamboat.

But it wasnt any ordinary steamboat. It was a yong tou fu steamboat. (credits goes to john as usual for being the cook, but i did the mincing of carrots and onions, so some credit goes to me too.)

What is a mooncake fest without mooncakes?

But i still cant understand how my mooncake grew fungus. It was stored in an unopened bag, with a deoxygenator. Going to write a complaint to tai thong for selling me a faulty mooncake.

If you were wondering who was that perverty looking guy at the bottom of the picture, well that is our new housemate, raimie. More about him some other day.

Even our dog had a fun time. Well at least thats was what we thought.

Well as the title of this post dictates, i am, well, thinking.

Guess the past half year that i was apart from my blog was indeed an awesome one, I guess soo awesome that i neglected my blog in certain ways.

Maintaining a blog really takes dedication and perseverance which i do need to put in much more effort. :D To my readers, even tho you're not reading my rants on the world wide web anymore, i hereby make a commitment to post up at least something once a week. It might be just pictures, or something random for me to refer back when i grow old with hair out of my nose. Thanks to all those who wrote on my underpopulated chatbox, requesting for me to make an update. That meant alot to me. You guys can comment just below the post, im planning on opening it so it can be read by others too. :)

Sometimes it just takes small measures to get people back into the game, for me, it might be an interesting advertisement, support from friends, a nice shower, a nice dump in the toilet, a cold breeze of air, and most of all a good motivation from my girlfriend. :)

Here's a story about a group of homeless people living just outside my house, what i mean by outside my house is literally they stay 100 meters away from my apartment entrance in an underpass. The underpass is well inoculated with bacteria of all sorts which induces a foul smell. So back to the homeless people which i call the "spoonman gang" such a name was given because once upon a time (well 6 months ago) the leader of this gang tried to sell me a spoon. Yeap an ordinary teaspoon. It had to be the most random thing i was ever offered in my life. So thus the name, i must say i admire his balls to try selling something like that. But he wasnt just a normal homeless guy, in a period of just a few months, he has established a gang. A rather big one, now in total there are 4 men, a lady and a dog. I have no idea how does a homeless person have enough money to take care of a dog, but i must say that most of them own one in moscow.

In my opinion, for a group of homeless people to be able to stay standing in the cold streets of moscow, (VERY COLD) it really takes some skill. As i sit down in my warm bed, i do ponder about what runs in their minds from time to time. What if i was stripped of everything that i have got right now, the comfort having a place with four walls and a door plus some wallpaper taken away from me. Do i even deserve this right of complaining that my bed is too hard, or how come i dont have a wide screen TV?

I guess sometimes we as humans just take for granted everything we have on earth. Always thinking that the grass is somehow greener and jucier on the other side, It might be a helping friend, a sweet couple or housemate who cleans the kitchen after you, or a loving partner which is always there when you need advice. im not saying we should be contented or anything, But appreciate what we have right now! Because what we have is a privilege NOT a right. Moreover, If we truly appreciate everything that we have, we should be pushing ourselves to the limit! For every second that we exist in this marvelous-yet-deterioriating-place-we-call-earth, we can make a difference! It may not be just on ourselves, but to others too. So why settle for days that we call ordinary? Lets go for AWESOME.

I thank God i dont have to sell spoons.

From my windows perspective, its an uber sunny day today. Makes you feel like putting your head out the window and enjoying the soft breeze on your face. Which was exactly what i did.

unfortunately my camera just cant properly take a pic of the falling rain, but then again you can still notice the wet roads.

But the weather in moscow can never be really predicted, one minute its uber sunny, the next it starts to rain, and 5 miniutes ater this is how it looks like.

this pic was taken 5 minutes later. With dark clouds already. Guess one of the top 10 worst jobs in the world would be a weather forecaster in moscow.

And to my astonishment, i found this too.

Guess either someone threw a lump of bread 10 storeys high, or the pidgeons developed a case of poor digestion and started to poop bread nowdays.

What an awesome day to hit the books.

Amusingly some pinnoy retard tried to hack my garena. (a platform for online gaming) He started off by asking me to recruit him into my clan, Which was kind of fishy because my clans name isnt cool enough to be idolized, its called FATs.

Well heres an interesting insight on what we like to do when were forced to study.

We give in to the devil of temptation : FACEBOOK.

To think of all the time spent on this geniusly conceived application. By the way was made by some Harvad students who thought that while wasting their own time, why not waste every one elses?

The pattern of how facebook envelopes (i mean consumes) your soul (more or less) kinda works in the same way for most of us.

Firstly :

You visit http://www.facebook.com just because your friends are doing it. (suckers)

Then:

You sign up because its free, (yes, thats how cheap we are) and on top of that its a brilliant site to communicate with those long lost kindrgarden friends of yours.

Soon:

You find yourself frantically uploading pics of yourself, searching for primary or secondary photos to tag your friends in. Why? Because its fun tagging someone digging a bugger on camera.

Then some wiseguys came up with addictive programs like rock legends, pet society, mafia wars and not to mention games which people like to train how to trap virtual mice and ghosts. As if you would actually know what to do when you really encounter one. (No guys.. if there were such thing as an assasin mouse you'd be dead before you could take out your pokeball to catch it)

All the stuff you played becomes boring, you succumb to doing quizzes about yourselves, to find our who you trully are, or hoping that you arent bulbasaur in "which pokemon are you?" because you think that bulbasaur is retarded. All these efforts are necessary due to the fact that the mirror you look in everyday doesnt work like the one in snow white.

Then there are the quizzes made by your friends, its like how they "test" your friendship. And when you becom dulan because you only fared 10% and they say that you have mou yi hei, you create a quiz on your own to give yourself the oppourtunity of saying the same thing back.

Before you know it:

You have become a facebook zombie. By this i mean stalking others pages more than once an hour. Or refreshing your home page twice a second. You feed on the happenings of others. Because you know deep down in your heart that peoples mood changes every second, and you dont want to miss "liking" someones post or link.

And at most desperate times, because of how avidly your zombie friends are roaming around the fbsphere, you know that you can just rely on facebook as a lost and found post with immediate replies. (wtf right?)

You never can imagine how random people can get, to me, lifes interesting that way, because you never really know what you are going to get. (i know its kinda like the forrest gump's saying but without the box of chocolates.)

Well then this is a tale of a bunch of 6, despite having exams around the corner, went out for a night stroll in the heart of Moscows action packed city. Id have to say, that it was a rather interesting journey.

The time on the clock was: 22:15

when John came in and invited Sam to buy groceries at the mart (10 mins walk away) I mean, who buys groceries at this hour of the night? Eventually john's little devious plan worked, not only convincing sam, but all of us too. (that included kien, yq, hooilam, and me. except the dog) So we headed out for our small nightime adventure.

Id elaborate more, but i dont think you'd like the details.

To cut it short, there were attempts of jumping.

Some jumped too high and exposed their belly.

And some were confused on when to jump, so they squatted.

We also did do a failed version of the beatles "abbey road" photoshoot. Well it just didnt seem right.

But the streets of moscow really looked different at this time of the night. Oddly, there were more friendlier people on the street. We were encountered by 2 random chicks saying "Hi" i politely responed "Hi", oddly they replied with another "Hi" I guess that was the only english they knew.

Also a bunch of youngsters came pass us while singing "glory glory man united". Interesting.

We stopped at the grocery store, getting our supplies, honestly shopping in moscow for groceries at 11pm is quite an odd sight, you normally only see others grabbing the shelves stock of redbull, vodka, and bottles of water. Well we all know what those stuff are for.

So compared to them, we looked like lost toursits or some ah ma's at the market.

After picking our picks, which for me and sam was two chickens, an iceberg, and a pack of rice.

We headed to the nearest starbucks outlet. (which was my first time in my entire stay in moscow)

Heres how starbucks in written in russian.

Its amazing to see how even starbucks(moscow) has adopted the moscovites culture. You dont get the usuall perky "HI, WELCOME, HOW ARE YOU?" shouts from over the coutner. You just get a silent nothing, followed by, "what do you want!?" And if they gave you a wrong order (like how kien managed to order a mocha, instead of a mocha frappuchino) you dont get your money back, OR get a new cup of coffee. You just have to suck that hot mocha up and be a man.

So thats for how much service you would receive in STARBUCKS moscow. Cant really blame them for implementing the communist lifestyle for thats how they really are deep down inside.

And it costs RM69 to Drink 4 cups of coffee. :)

So far nothing much has been up, been busy with reading online facts, a wee bit of studying (too little i guess) sleeping, and probably everything else that doesn't contribute to my bodies health. I lost my cam to a seemingly irritating black hole that recently occurred in my house, stealing random stuff. I came to a conclusion that it really is a black hole vortex instead of a thief due to its mysterious and random nature. Firstly it stole/warped two, and only two things.

And sometimes i ponder, wondering what lies behind this facade of life.

A child, so innocent and pure, bursting with ideas and innovations in thier mind, a world leader in the making, with dreams so big that can fill a lifetime, wakes up only to see that his hair had turned white, his beard scrapy, and his dreams are all vanishing one by one.

As a child, i had dreams, well who doesnt? But in my opinion, i really believed in those dreams. I embraced it and i cherished it, believeing that one day those dreams would evolve into reality. And as i grew, some of those dreams still stayed close to me. But i guess a number of them didnt stick. Did they become false silver linings? Or did i just grow out of them?

Well from what i noticed from the people nowdays is that people stop believeing. Believing in anything at all, not even themselves. Believing in achieving the dreams that they have always wanted to. I wonder if that really is a part of growing up. Or is that just the reality where people are accustomed to.

In my opinion, nothing is ultimate. There is no definite ending to any story. Some people might say they know, how a certain story is going to turn out. BUT i believe its the effort you put in to change such an ending that makes a difference. Its not who you are going to be but who you WANT to be that makes your life in your hands. Giving yourself the ultimatum.

I recently read a quote that says:

Dedicated to my dear friend drew aka andy or whatever you might call him.

Where was I, well the next day we continued exploring around helsinki to learn something new about their culture, thier languages and also sightseeing.

For starters, i must admit that helsinki really has one of the most amazing streets in the world. Their streets are superbly organized, anywhere you would like to go can be easily navigated by the help of a small pocket map (which in fact they distrbute free in every major tourist info centre). In fact, this is one of the 1st times i actually felt that the distance required to get to a certain destination illustrated on a map actually felt further than the actual walking distance itself. Maybe it was because we were staying right in helsinki city centre. Well who knows. :)

I guess i cant really say much more about their buildings and roads. But i do have to add that the roads are amazingly well maintained with small pebbles like these.

Well for those who unfortunately DONT have snow in thier country, let me make some explanations. These small pebbles are for traction control. Costing as low as just mere rocks, these babies provide more grip than the latest timberland boots on ice.

My feet are safely far away from slipping on the sidewalk and making me look like an idiot.

Moving on to the Finnish culture. Basically finns are very nice people, besides the drunk men you see at 4am at bars. Besides them, they never falter to lend a helping hand when we got lost (most of the time). Apparently they also crave interesting designs. Like this toilet booth.

In my opinion kinda looks like a tank. it costed RM 10.20 to pee in a tank. So i passed.

This reindeer model soft toy also had its genitals designed in. Pretty creative. My mates insisted that it was actually its tail. But i really dont see the point of designing a tail at THAT location. So i must say i still think they're balls.

As i came to more sights, i noticed that finns were also very sexually oriented people.

Like how they named a drink. ED. Erectile Dysfunction.

Knowing people of the male gender would have problems after drinking it, they made a tagline saying "Stay Focused" so you still can be in control. Quite creative.

I didnt buy that drink of course. Was worried about what would happen to my flag pole.

And also despite it being an European Union controlled country, its really cheap to get some pussy in finland. :D

They come in all shapes and sizes, and aparently various kinds of flavours too.

Best part is, they really are cheap.

I had the priviledge to test out some of these pussies. It costed me a mere 3EUR. :)

Kinn's Guide to Helsinki. Part 1

We reached the Estonian airport 75 mins later. The name of the country kinda reminded me of Elbonia from dilberts comics. I was wondering for a moment where the fuzzy bearded people were hiding.

But then again, the airport was rather impressive for something so small. It had glass built window panes as windows, walls, floors, ceilings, and whatever you might want to find built in glass, in my opinion is perfect for toilets. (I wonder if my idea will pass on)

But being at the Estonian airport also had its own problems. Due to the fact again where we're holding a Malaysian passport.

This time Mr and Mrs chef was called in for their questioning. (The 'whats your religion” question.) After 5 minutes of random chat with the guards, they told Mrs chef that the reason a questioning was required was due to the fact that, I quote 'Malaysian has bad quality passports'. In the same crappy english that he spoke.

Well I guess the KIPPAS machine that we made our passports were just too advanced a technology for them to handle. I mean, our passports were made in 2 hours. My face was printed abit off from the centre of the pic. The lamination of the passport was not the best I must say. But we cut down the jobs of annoying makciks with their mouth full of kuih talking about the next Mawi album.

So I say yes to technology! Maybe someday we could make a 'Daytona' like simulator but with malaysian roads in the graphics. Then we could conduct the driving exam by just playing a video game, thus making the purchase of those cute little so-called-cars called kancils are not necessary.

Talk about cost efficiency.

But then again, back to the story, I must say that Malaysian passports really are much better than those ive seen from various countries. (I shall not state where, you'll have to find out) For Example, in Russia, they write your name (by hand) on to a small form, paste your picture in, and voilla! Its done. (crap I just said the country didnt I)

And they they say that Malaysian passports with printed names and glossy embossing just does not beat the standard of those peoples handwriting.

Officer A: Hey guys come check out this card, its glossy and shiny, the words are all printed out.

Officer B: I dont know man, kinda looks like a Pokemon card to me.

So I guess putting foil gloss on the passport does makes it look like a Pokemon card.

From Estonia, we traveled to Helsinki, Finland in a propellar airplane. I have never sat in one of these.

Looked really really cool. But small.

Even their refreshments came in small sizes. On the menu, there was a selection of if you want the blue sweet or the green sweet. I went with the green sweet.

This is the Finns favorite sweet. Its called liquorice. (lic-ker-rish) Some love it, some hate it. But the Finns just LOVE it.

Let me demonstrate how much love can be poured into a sweet.

They made, Liquorice pastilles. (The main one)

Liquorice lollipops.

Liquorice filled sweets.

Liquorice filled chocolates.

Liquorice chewing gum.

Liquorice liquorice.

Liquorice alcohol.

and OMG liquorice FISHERMANS FRIEND.

They actually have a lot more like maybe liquorice edible panties, but I guess I didnt have time to explore.

But I really wonder why do they have to make their packets look like condoms. I would have really mistaken this as a medical condom or something.

We stayed in Omena Hotel. Which conveniently is just in the centre of everything. Well I guess Helsinki really isn't that big. But it was an excellent choice, with a short 10 minutes walk away from most attractions. Uber.

Best thing of all. They had this small restaurant whos name has already been carved into our hearts.

With its beautiful logo which resembles a nipple with blue outlines, its beautiful interior deco which makes you feel like you are dining with saddam hussein, its tv which played sexy arabic girls dancing around skimpily clad, and their toilets which look like toilets.

This place is called

ERIKIN PIPPURI. (yeah the name isnt that cool)

This is their logo.

And their restaurant motto pasted on every serviette you could find.

They are a kebab store. Located just opposite our hotel. I must say, their kebab is just delicious. For prices ranging from 6 - 9 EUR. You get a hearty portion of meat, fries, salad and maybe rice. The portions were huge.

Nothing better than the juicy fresh tomatoes creating mini explosions in your mouth, the tender moist flavorful meat slices swirling on your tongue, the crispy fries fried to perfection and slightly salted, and to down it all down with a quenching portion of sprite zero. Kinda felt like that rattatoulie movie.

Done with that, back to sleep and preparing for our next day.

How do i start, well first off, my journey has been quite a journey, we left moscow at 640am on the 26th of jan. Heading towards the Moscow Sheremyetovo airport. All (most) of us had high spirits in and prepared to wash the last hectic semester away with a good holiday. But some were still sleepy. like this guy.

I travelled with a group of 6 (including me). There was Chef Thong & Mrs Chef

Mr. Bearman, Jimmy Jot & the infamous BPONG aka doraemon,

and lastly yours truly.

Moscow airports are really one of a kind, as a holder of a Malaysian passport, you can be sure you are NOT allowed to roam around freely here. They will and most likely hold you in a containing cell, make idiotic faces at you and ask you things that you already know. The toughest of all those questions might just be,

Airport Officer: Hi, whats your religion?

Why is it tough? Because basicially i dont really know what they want to know, i guess if u say you're muslim, they'll grope your groins searching for the c4 you have in your handphone. But what comes for any other religion in this world i dont know. Nor do i see the importance in asking such an irrelavent question. Because I dont think a suicidal terrorist is going to wear a shirt that says "i love holy warfare" on their backs. (they may write it on thier briefs so thier God can identify them in some way tho.)

Besides that, in the Sheremyetovo airport there is a "PLEASE SMOKE INSIDE" rule. Unlike many european countries now which carry the EU ban on indoor smoking. Personally i have never seen an airport which you could smoke in. I always thought the fire alarms would go off. Guess that airport doesent have fire alarms. :)

So we waited for 1 hour for the check in time, only to find out that our beloved 75min plane ride has been delayed for 4 hours. What luck.

Thank God i have my trusty friend who sings to me and never leaves me under any circumstances.

Unless i forget to charge him.

So i scouted the airport for "fun" and "unusual" stuff to do, aparently there was none. But the free newspaper did enlighten me for awhile.

Looks like someone working at the gas station got pissed at the ever steadily dropping Rubles.

Unfortunately he didnt know how to make the letter "K" on that board. "Ahh well, C will do"

There was also an article talking about how Americans "criminalizes" the Russian actors.

I find it amazingly true. You really DONT see a Russian guy acting as Rambo or Batman, neither are they usually the heroes of any movie. I can recall the weird guy in Wanted who breeds mice and calls them mickey was russian. Well i guess nobody noticed him because everyone was busy eyeing angelina jolies boobs.

So its either weird mice breeding introvert, OR criminal maasterminds. Nice choices.

But i must say that Russians are really invading the Hollywood scene. *clap clap* to that. If you have yet watched the show Rock 'n Rolla. Please download copy from your favourite torrent site now. :) Uber cool show.

After being away and partially deprived from the internet, hopefully my spur of creative ideas i had when i was away in finland and stockholm didn't deteriorate. Been an interesting 12 day journey, i met santa, sat on dog sledges, got pulled my a reindeer and almost got reindeer shit in my mouth, ate reindeer meat, saw hiro nakamura's sword, sat in a police car (again), slept on a boat, and got my fav wallet of all time stolen.

Well it was quite a journey, shall be back to blog about it after i eat my egg sandwich.

And that completing what might be 1/5th or 1/4 of my life, i gracefully turned 21 today! Thanks to the great people i have around me who made my birthday something really enjoyable. There was booze, great food, more booze, cool presents, cakes, and some people dressed up in police uniforms. (It really isn't what you would expect)

Well firstly we celebrated the food session at the place called teegeeeyeeff. Or fridays for shorts, here the people worship the guy named Jack.

Well the beer was about 6/10 due to the fact that it wasnt entirely cold. But the buss effect that we got was nice, not a killer, but something nice to enjoy to while your friends start talking funny.

Presents i got from my housemates,

1. Something uber random, but sweet in some ways. (you wont really consider it sweet if ur staying in msia or anywhere you can find it) but for us, its considered sweet. :)

2. Somehow my friends really go to great extents to making a bday special. Like 'taking' this ZARA rubber stamp from the cashier. Kudos to sam for performing this great performance.

What more can i ask for. :)

The birthday cake was swell and original. Best of all, the most expensive part of the cake was the candles.

And bout the people dressed up in police uniforms, yeah, i got arrested on my 21st birthday, well what can i say, there always is a 1st for everything. Unfortunately i dont have any pics to show you guys but a computer but this i what i swear it looked like.

For the real story, actually i was just out getting some groceries when john and i was stopped by 3 cops with thier small cocks. And i guess thats what you get in russia witht the cops who i must say, are super racist. If you think the RM 50 bribing on the way back from mont kiara is bad. You just havent seen this yet. In actual fact, i sat in a cop car, drove around for about 10 mins, with 3 fat smelly asses before settling the score.
