Students With Aspiring Gifts aka S.W.A.G. is an organization geared towards promoting positive youth and hip-hop culture. We teach children ages 7-18 the elements of hip-hop (deejaying, graffiti, emceeing, knowledge/culture, b-boying) . We aspire to bring positive hip-hop back to the neighborhood and back to our youth.

I can’t wait to attend Rock the Bells on August 22, 2010 in San Francisco at the Shoreline Amphitheatre due to all the amazing artist that are performing all in the same location! I am super stoked to finally witness Lauren Hill in action and be a spectator to Snoop Dog as he performs his “doggy style” album with Warren G, tha dogg pound, lady of rage and RBX!

I am very ecstatic to also witness the other performers but I have seen a lot of them in concert already; I am glad to be getting another chance to see them again. Most important though, I get to share this experience with astonishing people in my life which is what matters most =]

We hosted our first annual Street Fighter tournament due to the fact that Triumvir released their Street Fighter line which inspired us to do so. To become a contestant into the tournament, the clients had to purchase a street fighter tee from the line which went towards the cash prize and surprise prize!

We released the shirts a week earlier than the actually tournament date. The day of the tournament, we only had 12 contestants show but had much more people arrive to witness who was going to win. We decided to run the game off an Xbox console, arcade style.

The event was a success due to the collaborative work from all my employees, Nick Trujillo (artist), Phong Nguyen, Jordan Yee, Vitamin Water, Thug Geek Radio, Amp Energy Drink, the contestants, and to everyone who came out to support! We really appreciate it and couldn’t have done it without the joint efforts from everyone. THANK YOU =]

Congratulations to Zack, the winner!

Twilight began as a young-adult romance novel but became an instant best seller in 2005 and to go on releasing also the best selling movie in 2008! It is the first book in the Twilight series that introduces 17 years old, Belle. Belle quickly finds her life in danger when she falls in love with a vampire named, Edward Cullen. The novel is followed by New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

I am one of the few millions of people who fell in love with the romantic, love story between Belle, Edward, and Jacob. I was definitely torn between TEAM EDWARD and TEAM JACOB but after watching “Eclipse,” I finally concluded for TEAM EDWARD!

The reason for my dramatic decision is because in “Eclipse” I definitely like how Edward handled the situation between Belle and Jacob. TEAM EDWARD is solid because I like his character and the way he handles a situation by evaluating the positives and negatives. He is very humble and he makes decisions for the better of others and not himself. It is very difficult at times to put your own feelings second, therefore putting someone else’s first. Edward did an amazing job displaying it in the movies but especially in “Eclipse!” and Edward’s family certainly reminds me of mine but in a human sense! lol
