Short into the weekend

Wasn't going to even trade today, but this was too juicy.

Short ES at 1315, tanking into the close.

WOW-- In one second, it ran from 1312 to 1317.....wonder how many people got their stop swept, the MM's must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Incredible the amount of market manipulation that is achievable, might not even be illegal, but probably is.

This sweep means piggy going to die over weekend, no matter how red the lipstick.

I use Blogger, its easy and "free", free as long as you don't mind the evil empire integrating your every move.

I appreciate any suggestions for other Blogging formats, as I will be migrating away from everything Google, annoying that we have to spend so much energy to prevent being drawn further into the matrix.

Google has redefined “privacy” as used in “privacy policy.” Basically, you hardly have any left.
Perhaps they should have published a “surveillance policy” today instead.

Google announced Tuesday its plans to integrate data from all its services with your profile for logged-in Google+ users. As usual, they sounded chipper about it: “We can provide reminders that you’re going to be late for a meeting based on your location, your calendar and an understanding of what the traffic is like that day.”
A bigger problem, as The Post’s Hayley Tsukayama pointed out, is that, for Android users, there’s never really an option to be logged out, so everything you do, Google can now track, from searches to direction requests to videos watched.

Opt out? I couldn’t find an opt-out. It says that if you use any Google service, you’re bound by the policy starting March 1.

Very Odd Games on the Vix and IWM Put Value

I bought IWM puts, March 79, yesterday.

Then the market launched upward. And by close the value of my puts were higher than when I bought them. Massive changes in option value are being seen in the market. For those holding option with stops, they are probably getting killed, stopped out.

Never seen it before, a massive indice move AGAINST the value of the put (in theory) and the value of the put goes up instead.

Hell, I'll take it, but there is something important here, more than just understanding your Greeks. The wizard behind the curtain is important and he machinations are starting to show in these actions.

Egg of Doom - 2012 Visit

Well the Egg of Doom sure seems to indicate that 2012 will be a bad year for equity value.

A stealth flight to USD could bring down the indices.

One problem I have with charts, and it makes no sense to me, therefore I have to assume that it is intentional method of deception, it the way that mathematical lines image differently on different time frame charts. Annoying --more than annoying.

You can see on the near term Egg of Doom, we are just touching the Egg line.

However, on the longer term Egg of Doom, we have already broke the shell and into overthrow mode if that is what that is.

Anyone have any type of explanation at all on this matter?

Sunday Futures Open Down

The last minute ramp up on Friday afernoon popped alot of short stops.

Alot of those shorts will be sorely disappointed when trading resumes and they were taken out before the anticipated move down.

As always, nothing is guaranteed, Cable and Euro seem almost ready to breakout upwards, that would likely drag US equities higher.   We should know soon whether this is real or whether that was a blow off top for the "anti Dollars"

Keep in mind, my "secret indicator" went off last week, historically, when that indicator goes off, the market move down 9% to 15%.     That indicator also kicked off the tumble into the 666 lows of 2009, just saying.

I am long shorts. Review prior posts, strong signals indicating a 9 to 15% move down starting tomorrow or Friday, but as this is expiry and the fireworks are typically over already, methinks if you have the cajones ot hold short over the weekend, ye shall be amply rewarded.

That said, consult your effen financial adviser, who is 90% of the time long.
