This is an 80% crop of a 1:1 macro (handheld), this guy is really tiny, around 1.5mm wide and 3 long. He seemed to enjoy the sun on a pink tulip.

But is it just me or at a higher magnification its face reminds you a monkey (or a cat)? :)

That day it was -33°C and the wind was cutting my face (I wasnt able to take more than a couple of shots at the time and the camera actually switched off a few times....) and those guys were happily "flying" with their kites....Kudos to them!

As I said earlier, this morning snowed quite a lot, so me, my wife and the girls celebrated Valentine's day playing in the snow in a nearby field where these two trees got my attention because of the way they have grown so intertwined together. I thought it will be appropriate to share this today to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day again :))

I wanted to thank +Joel Olives for sharing a gorgeous set of textures for free with us. I don't usually work with textures but this morning I just had a go and I used Joel's "Burnish" to give some new life to this shot I took last year.
