America must win the heart of the Muslim people

How many times have you heard a statement like this? It was used during the Vietnam War when United States forces were trying to win the war by “Winning the hearts and minds of the people.” This is nonsense as we found out in Vietnam-during the day our soldiers would be treated as guest, while at night our host would be feeding the troops to the enemy. We are fighting an enemy with thousands of years of experience in brutal terroristic warfare that has been passed down through the generations. Before I go further into the reason why this tactic is not plausible- the reader must understand who our enemy is. The Islamic faith was started by a man who by all accounts was a drunken child molester who by force made people convert to his faith. The Islamic faith is not a peaceful religion by any accounts-most Americans are seeing the core group of this faith in action today. Let's not pull any punches-this Islamic religion teaches children from a very young age to hate the Infidels and Zionist that occupy their Holy Land. This action on their part is by far the most outlandish thing this author has ever heard of. The Muslims do not have any rights what so ever to the Holy Land nor more importantly Jerusalem. This religion is hell bent on world dominance and until that is achieved no peace can be achieved.
Many out there will blame the United States for Osama Bin Laden attacking New York City and the Pentagon on September 11th 2001. “It was the United States foreign policy of being allies with Israel that caused the attacks.” Many Americans are now actually believing this garbage-many would like to see the United States pull out of the Middle East in attempts to reconcile with the enemy in hopes we all can live happily ever after. This option can never and will never work-the enemy will not be satisfied until it has world dominance period.
Now knowing some facts about the enemy what can America do? Two answers that come to mind immediately are the Islamic faith has to start changing from the inside out-or the United States has to continue it's war and defend it's borders. The United States has always reached out to those who are in need- we fought throughout the world for human rights and prevented genocides. The United States cannot be blamed for it's current policy's in the Middle East because it was us who were attacked. I say to the reader on the opposite side of the argument that we should leave and make amends that “You must educate yourself on the enemy first before making such a ridiculous claim.”What really surprises me is people do not know how lucky they are to live in a great country like this where you can speak your mind. Go to Iran our Afghanistan and speak your thoughts- your head would get cut off because you don't conform with their religion.
We must take a page from Israel- this is a country that is under attack on a daily basis from suicide bombers and rockets. Israel never gives into these people because they know if they stop fighting then every Jew would be killed just like in World War Two. The Israelis learned from that experience- you can never negotiate with an enemy with the core belief that you should not exist. Israel takes the fight to them as the United States is currently doing. Citizens in the United States need to do their homework before speaking out on an issue that could very well determine their quality of life for generations to come. The moral of the story is that the Islamic people must fist say “Enough is Enough, we don't want to live like this anymore.” The Islamic people are the ones who need to rethink they're policies- not the United States.

This is a question that is currently haunting the United States-currently you have both Democratic candidates supporting a total troop withdraw and on the Republican side John McCain saying we need to stay put until victory is achieved. The problem we face is not an easy one in determining whether or not the troops come home, but instead understanding the enemy we are fighting. Americans never before in history has fought a war with any enemy like we are fighting now. Most Americans do not understand the ideology of the war we are currently fighting. America is not fighting a moral enemy the least bit- we are fighting a enemy with thousands of years of terror based tactics experience. This enemy has been terrorizing it's own citizens- killing them in the name of Allah and false prophet Muhammad. This war is based not on political ideology but instead a battle of religious ideology between the sons of Joshua and Ishmael- the bible says that these two factions will war with each other for all time. Many Americans are not ready nor is the average citizen educated enough to make a decision on whether we should pull our troops out of Iraq.

Americans have been led to believe that the American way of life is the norm in the world- when something important as whats going on now in Iraq arises many are unequipped to fully understand its implications. That's when you get the Hillary Clinton's or Barrack Obama's coming out of the woodworks saying “It's time to get out now-this wasn't our war in the first place.” Obama can be fully understood because of his lack of experience- Hillary Clinton on the other hand is one of those who destroyed our country in the sixties and another reason why now this country has a poor moral code. This by coincidence is what our enemies use against us. “Americans are filled with Satan-they do not follow the word of their own God.” Well chalk it up to the enemy because they have a point there. It was also Hillary Clinton's husband that tried for a peace accord with the Palestinians and Israel which now has become a rallying cry for the Muslims. I'm proud that the American people have stood stand fast with Israel and it's fight against these people. We actually should start taking a page from their play book on how to deal with these people.

Israel understands these people quiet well- everyday they are faced with a destruction from an enemy that surrounds their country on all sides. Israel knows if you give into these people that they will destroy you. The Radical Muslims only care about bringing you under their religious ideology- this is a prove fact. President Bush has rightly declared war on these people- he knew when we were attacked on September 11th 2001 that the United States had to bring the fight to them on their own turf. If the United States did not respond heavy handed these people would be launching attacks within the United States. Americans that have disapproved with this strategy have not once offered an alternative except for cut and running. “Maybe if we leave then the terrorist will leave us alone.” This is the kind of answer I would expect from people educated at Berkley. The world we live in today is not the world we once lived in-we have enemies that would like nothing better then to destroy us and Israel. As Americans we must stay on the offensive just like we did during World War Two. If America didn't stand with it's allies during that war- we all be speaking German right now and subject to the Reich right now. We have to stay on the offensive just as we did in World War Two or our life and the life of our children will be in jeopardy from these people for many more years to come.

America the lost

Over the past few years every American Citizen at one time or another has heard the debate raging all over the country on whether torture should be legal. Recently congressional hearings have dominated the television asking all kinds of governmental officials if they see water boarding as a form of torture. Recently this argument has got out of control to the point of insanity in this writers mind. I cannot see the fundamental logic behind those who argue torture should be illegal-try that I may to understand a differing view point I cannot see where opponents of torture are coming from. America was once a mighty nation built on core values and idea's most other countries wished they could have. Now in today's society citizens have to take the politically correct stand point or risk a barrage of criticism that their views are barbaric. My fellow Americans I call cutting someones head off "Barbaric". I call sending women and children into a crowd of people with a bomb strapped to their body "Barbaric".

The enemy we fight today does not play by the same rules that America does. These enemies do not have the moral code that the United States has. I would like to pose a question to the reader. "Would you prefer to live under daily threat of attack as the Israelis do?" What? Where did this question come from you ask? My point is very simple. Today we are fighting the very same battle that has been raging for thousands of years-only the times and locations have changed. But in todays times we are fighting a more sophisticated enemy with a more deadlier arsenal. Would those opponents of torture be against it's use to uncover information about our enemies trying to exploded a nuclear weapon in an American city? Well I guess to answer that question you would have to get pass the spin most opponents of torture give, such as "If the United States would only implement a better foreign policy things would be different." This is the favorites of the pundits I hear time and time again. What these pundits will never understand-is even if we do change our foreign policy to accommodate these enemies of ours, nothing would ever change. These people will never be happy until they make everyone slaves of they're ideology. Your talking about millions of people who want to see Israel wiped off the face of the map-or people who cannot accept a changing world and continue to live in the stone age.

America is now fighting for it's national identity. We once were a great nation who bonded together in times of crises. This happened after September 11 2001 but quickly faded into the background as our weak politicians started stoking the fire of separation among all of us. This argument of using torture is just one of the ways of dividing us. I ask the pundits of torture another question. "Would you have approved of torture to save the thousands of lives on September 11th 2001?" If you say "NO" then I invite you to say that to all of those families that lost loved ones on that terrible day-or I simply say to you that maybe deep down you really have no idea what an American is all about. If this Nation would have thought or acted the way it does today back in the 1940's we would've lost the great war to the Hitler and his murdering forces. As a side note to that argument it's also interesting to point out many of the enemies we face today were once aligned with axis forces. What does that tell you of the mind set of our enemies? These people actively supported the deliberate extermination of a entire people.

As a father I'm very worried about the road America is starting to travel down. America is a great country of ideas and moral positions-that is why we went to war in Afghanistan-not only to settle the score with an enemy who killed thousands of our countrymen, but also to free a people under a brutal government with no cares of human dignity. If American citizens continue to live in a fairy tail world one day this enemy will be on your front doorstep. Then where your thinking be about the issue of torture? I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty you would have wished the American government used all the means available to stop these people. Now is the time to stand up and avoid this scenario before it happens-your choice for the President of the United States in November will determine if America will stay strong or set in motion events that can be a disaster for America and it's allies.

Self evaluation- A journey through Anxiety and Panic Disorder

Anyone who knows the pounding of the heart or shallow heavy chested breathing to late night runs to the emergency rooms understands what I'm talking about. The dreaded panic attack! I've been a sufferer of Anxiety and Panic Disorder for little over two years now. It comes out from no where like a thief in the night to steal your sanity and leave you helpless while praying to God "Please don't let this kill me". My experience with anxiety/panic disorder led me on the journey through sixty straight days of emergency room visits, two weeks of in house hospital treatment and medical tests to determine if I was going insane. Finally I ended up in cognitive behavioral therapy trying to recover what was stolen from my life. "Control"

The most important thing that anxiety/panic disorders do is rob you of self-control. The most terrifying symptoms of a panic attack is the feeling of losing your mind. This is just not a form of expression either. Only those who suffer from this disease can relate to the third person imagery, sensation of terrifying restlessness that can engulf your daily life. The effects that these symptoms play on your mind is horrible- mine were so bad that I refused to go outside or even trust those people that were close to me. The worse thing anyone could've of said to me in the initial stage of the disease was "It's all in your head! The doctor told you all you have to do is calm down." That was a favorite saying of my wife. Problem with those types of comments was you would push me farther away, I knew in my mind something was wrong because I was feeling it.

As the days went by and I wondered if I would be this way the rest of my life I started to slowly turn the tables on the anxiety. The one thing anxiety/panic disorder started to do is show me my faults and weaknesses. Anxiety humbled me to no end- it showed me the type of life I was living and responsibilities not being met. Through this disease I was given the opportunity to see my life in a way I was never able to do before. Being humbled by this disease was the best thing that could of happened to me- I was able to see that no matter how tough I thought I was, that just wasn't the case. My life was at a downturn and I wasn't being the husband or father I should have been- God in my eyes gave me a good wake-up call on what my priorities should be. The funniest things started happening to me as I finally realized that this disease was actually a blessing in disguise. I was brought closer to God through my new found faith, I started paying more attention to the needs of my wife and kids. Most importantly I stated to feel a sense of happiness never felt before.

Many doctors or so-called experts believe the stress in your life is the major cause of anxiety/panic disorder. I can agree with them that stress plays an important role in anxiety/panic disorder. I also believe that the body will communicate to one's soul when their life is out of balance and needs to be fixed. I'm a big believer that when it comes to anxiety/panic disorder a person must start looking deep down into the depths of the mind and start listening to what it is saying is wrong. I've learned to use my disease as an ally instead of a hindrance- to analyze why symptoms began and what situations proceeded them. These last few years have educated me and showed me just how wonderful life can be. I still suffer from panic attacks on a daily basis-but instead of fearing them I'm using the attacks as a stepping stone into a better understanding of myself.

Networking for the 21st century home based business

The home based business has exploded in recent years because more and more people are getting out of the mind set of staying with the same company for thirty years and retiring. The new generation of business minded people don't want to waste their talents to make someone else the big profits-but instead want to line their own pockets from talents they have obtained. This is an exciting period in the business cycle when individuals break down the barriers to achieve their own success. With that said how exactly would a new business obtain a network it needs to survive in today's marketplace?

With most new small businesses being home based start-ups.It's important that these businesses build a solid network of contacts that can help sell the business for you. Networking can provide invaluable business opportunities for sales that otherwise would cost the business thousands of dollars in advertising dollars to obtain. Some of the ways to start building a solid network utilizes two very important but equal strategies. If you follow these two strategies your almost assured that a solid network of business contacts can be achieved.

The first approach is what I call the "Street" plan of attack. This strategy consists of the old way of doing networking. After all you don't want to stop doing something that has proven to work time and time again. What a small business owner must realize right off the bat- they must get out there and meet people if the business has any prayer of getting off the ground. If you are a shy or timid person it's time to get over that fear or your new business will never get off the ground. The market place is really for those that are strong and determined-all being timid will do for your business make you broke. With that said the very first thing you should do as a new business owner is to join your professions networking group. If your in real estate- then it would be advisable to join some investment groups or attend your Realtor associations events. After all Realtors pay big money to be apart of the national and local associations so why not utilize it to your advantage. The next step in networking on the ground would be for you to get involved in your community. Nothing brings more interest in your business then socializing with people within your community. Join the local chamber of commerce and attend the event meetings they have once a month. Join the different boards within the commerce to let people know who you are, volunteer for events that your commerce organization is having. Another good place to pick up contacts is by joining social organizations like the Elks or Moose- Lyons club or Rotary. These social organizations are usually national and can go a long way in building contacts outside your local area. Again just don't join to say you joined- get out there and be active within the organizations.

The second approach to use is through the internets-many great social networking sites exist right now that can give you great results if used correctly. Myspace and Facebook can bring your business a treasure trove of business- even presidential canidates are utilizing these sites to bring in contributions and votes. Although the new internet can be a blessing to your business efforts. A business owner must recognize how to be effective in using them. Most people in business think that you sign up for an account and just start requesting as many friends as possible. This is the deadly sin as I call it for anyone truly wanting to build a network for their business. Again let's take real estate for an example. Your a Realtor and want to build a good network of people that can help you grow your business. As a real estate professional you want to build a network by getting other people who know your business and can give you referrals. Thus in starting your network you want to do a search for all those profiles that are Realtors and making a friend request. After you complete that you want to move onto mortgage lenders and maybe business brokers- anyone that can help you build your business base. Once you build your base then you start requesting people in your geographic area that might be interested in your services. But remember you want to build relationships and not just spam people with your services. If thats your goals then you will fail period. People like doing business with someone they think they know- if you communicate through emails or comments then you start to build that relationship. Remember if done right this tool can take you a long way in bringing you business that can be repeat as well as building a solid business relationship for future deals.

"Well sir/madam this is just an introductory kit-for $900 dollars you can attend this seminar to get advanced knowledge by the well known BLAH BLAH." This is going on all over the country by individuals who pry on unsuspecting individuals who just want to get ahead.

I'm always being asked "I want to be successful in real estate. How can I do that?" The first thing I tell people is that "They're is no magic way of becoming successful if you do not have the drive and willingness to succeed." Nothing that you ever get in this life is given to you without determination to succeed. First step in the process of succeeding in real estate is education. You must know every aspect of the market in order to make it to the big time. Yes it is possible to focus on a particular part of the industry and make good money. But to be truly successful one must know the ins and outs of the negotiation process, lending process, appraisal process for starts. Your success in real estate is based on your success in learning just the above processes for starters. So step number one would be education! This is a must-without it your going no where.

Step number two is while your seeking education one must start building a network of contacts. Real estate is a people business. As a Master Note broker I could never be successful without a network of real estate agents,business brokers,financial advisor's. Without these individuals I would never get the contacts I need to find financial notes in the real estate industry. This goes the same way if your looking to invest in properties, sell properties or rent properties. If you have the network you will find the properties you are looking for and get the information and contacts you need. I would suggest starting out by joining your local commerce commission, clubs like the Elks, Moose and real estate networking groups. On the net if you use sites like Myspace or Facebook that will also build your contacts Nationally.

The whole process of making it in real estate is a lot more involved with just the two examples I've given to you in this article. In articles to come I will give you more tips and tricks for getting into the meat of the industry. Remember there is no magic bullet in the real estate industry, no infomercial product will make you rich overnight. If your truly interested in this industry then take the time to research and use due diligence because in this industry many crooks will be right there to take your money.

As a Master Note Broker for some years now I can assure you this is the furthest thing from the truth.

Note Brokering is a highly competitive field as well as a field in which you must first know the local finance laws of your state. In many states you must be registered with the Department of Securities as a Business Broker. I know these infomercials do not tell you that this can cost up to $1,000 when you buy their product. The next thing you are not aware of when you buy these products is that what they give you for your hundred or two hundred dollars is just a basic overview of the industry. You will nine times out of ten be sold on the idea of going to one of their $5,000 dollar seminars to get advanced training. The promoters of these products claim it is just a small investment in what will turn out to be a huge money making business opportunity. "Don't buy into that non-sense!" There are many outlets available through your local library that will help you get the overview of the business for free. Many books have been written on the subject of Note Brokering, use these resources first and save yourself hundreds of dollars on materials or courses that are not worth a dime to you.

Once you determine that this business is for you then it's time to get with a Master Note Broker who will help you get your foot into the door. A mentor will help educate you in particular areas of the business, these mentors are critical for your success. Once you have the guidance of a Master Broker you need to get out there and Network with those who will be vital to your success. Real Estate Agents, Business Brokers, Real Estate Brokers will be vital to your success in the Note Brokering field. When you first start out in the business more then likely you'll be working with 1st tier mortgage notes. These are notes that are held by an owner of the property who wishes to seller finance a transaction. Without a broad network you will find it hard to find the notes you are looking for.

Lastly it is recommended that you study marketing. In order to bring notes to your attention the broker must advertise his or her business effectively. "You have a service someone needs." I offer a simple answer to that question. "The note brokering field isn't as easy as they make it out to seem!"
