This pathetic loser was so unprofessional to have written something about her helper at home, and then ended up degrading the whole Filipino nation.

We the Filipinos are culture freaks! Admit it. Yes we are. We are very sensitive with regards to racism, especially if our culture and heritage are being insulted... Yun na nga lang natitira sa atin dahil lahat na ninakaw na ng mga bawayang pulitiko... aapakan pa nila... di, ba?

If you have not read my piece, here it is...

Being a house helper, a servant, a nanny, a cleaner or a maid is not easy. I could not even bear thinking about sleeping, eating, bathing at a workplace... these people are practically living at their workplace. They only breathe fresh air from the outside world on their days off. The dedication, the fulfillment in doing their jobs to nurture their families from back home is heroic and one of a kind. This type of job is not something that you look down to or ridicule on. This is an honest and clean job that Filipinos choose to earn money from... A type of job that most often than not help a lot of people feel comfortable in their lives, like Nannies, they help children grow, or the nursing aids take care of the sick How could you ridicule and be sarcastic to souls who clean your house, wash your clothes, cook your food and so forth? I understand that you pay them money for their services... but what if the Filipino servants are gone to offer their services? Let's face it, not all people can do what your so-called "Filipino servants can do...." but you would be surprised that most of these people can do what you can also do.

...anyway, I thought atleast the Filipinos don't manufacture FAKE (toxic) eggs, nor sell FAKE Chickens (in fact these were allegedly rats/rodents..Eew), we dont export low quality products that are health hazards.

The Chinese are NOT OUR MASTERS. C'mon it's year 2009... The world does not embrace this stupid mentality... Master vs Servants.

Chinese NEVER WERE our MASTERS, NEVER EVEN COLONIZED the Philippines. CHINESE NEVER EVEN HAD AN ERA IN THE PHILIPPINES. SO DREAM ON! CHECK YOUR HISTORY BOOK, CHIP!

Let the Spratly Islands be an issue of the Philippines and Chinese governments. If you want to take part by writing about this, go on but set the hardworking Filipinos aside... spare them 'cause all they wish to do is work for their families and nothing else.

Here's the infamous column of Chip Tsao (apparently been removed frome HK Magazine's Online site)

<a href="http://hk-magazine.com/feature/war-home" onmousedown="UntrustedLink.bootstrap($(this),

The War At Home
March 27th, 2009

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen on board. We can live with that—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That’s no big problem—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.

But hold on—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: there are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as $3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don’t flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.

As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell every one of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.

Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.

Oh yes. The government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. They may have Barack Obama and the hawkish American military behind them, but we have a hostage in each of our homes in the Mid-Levels or higher. Some of my friends told me they have already declared a state of emergency at home. Their maids have been made to shout “China, Madam/Sir” loudly whenever they hear the word “Spratly.” They say the indoctrination is working as wonderfully as when we used to shout, “Long live Chairman Mao!” at the sight of a portrait of our Great Leader during the Cultural Revolution. I’m not sure if that’s going a bit too far, at least for the time being.

----

I heard Chip Tsao did apologize to the Philippines... and I really hope he did... as well as to his Filipino helper at home.

Well, I did.. try watching CNN and you'll get to see ads on Malaysia, Singapore and other South East Asian countries, except the Philippines. Why? Blame it on the following:

1) Terrorism threat. - It's a shame to the Philippine government, because no matter how much they announce that the Philippines is a safer place to be and the terrorism threat if not eliminated... is moderated... other countries are not so convinced because travel advisories to the Philippines were never taken off the hook (I am not sure about the Koreans... maybe they're an exemption?)

2) Possible kidnapping of Travellers. - Could possibly be a part of terrorism. Pati pari kinikidnap!!! Are the Filipino people this desperate to catch the Philippine Government's attention? I would say yes. I am not on the kidnappers side. I condemn kidnapping especially the abduction of priests and volunteers... condsidering how old they are... they may not endure the bush life with the so called "taong labas" a.k.a rebels. I also feel for the victims because they were only assigned to serve the people in the middle a war zone... and they mean no harm. Sa mga rebelde naman eh sana, humanap nalang po kayo ng katapat nyo. Andaming pulutiko jan na masarap targetin.. bat hindi sila... di nyo kaya ang body guard nila? I don't mean to to add fuel to the fire... but for an ordinary Filipino who is tired of the war, graft and corruption, and poverty, for sure that's exactly the words that they would say.

3) Cons. - I am wondering if there is a complaints department at Centennial Airport (NAIA Terminal II)... I just entered the Philippines after years of missing the place... and I had been CONNED. Just a tip... when a stranger offers help.. JUST SAY NO. Otherwise, prepare your dollar notes or a few hundreds of pesos to pay these so called-hospitable and helpful airport staff! After long hours of flight and paying a significant amount of airfare, kikikilan ka lang? How would the Philippines attract tourists if in the entrance, the devils are already lurking and looking for victims? Guess what... I am no longer confident recommending the Philippines as a tourist destination to other nationalities...

4) Pollution. - Even Boracay is on its way to getting polluted... without the help of the visitors from overseas, the Boracay cleaning up had never made possible... Meron pa rin namang mga pinoy na nagtataguyod ng kalinisan... pero mas maraming taong walang paki alam sa kapaligiran!!! What type of rubbish did they pick up under water?

Cans, Packets, Plastic containers, beer bottles and more! What on earth were these people thinking before throwing their trash into the water? Ganyan ba kayo sa bahay bahay nyo? Magtatapon kayo ng lata ng softdrinks sa aquarium niyo?

Apart from the above, there are little bits and pieces of factors contributing to the slow flow of the Philippine Tourism... but if we perhaps start to get rid of these four major factors, the Philippine Government could profit a lot in Tourism (at tiyak may makukurakot nanaman ang mga naka upo).

Such a shame that I love the Philippines and there are places in this country with a lot to offer, the views, the smiles of the locals, the tropical feel and fresh air(except Manila and other polluted cities)... I couldn't wait to tell the world about how beautiful my motherland is....

But not for now... not in a while.

Well... here's a video showcasing the Philippine Tourism... I'm hoping that this song could inspire the fellow Filipinos or the other nationalities who love this Nation... honestly, I don't know how we could fix the corruption issues, but maybe if we could start in our own little good ways, someday we'll get there.
I have been wondering... being a Filipino citizen, is it still worth it casting you vote when you know that you are being cheated? Parang sa relasyon, if your spouse is obviously having an affair, you'd wonder...would it still be worth it to continue the marriage? As a Filipino, I am committed to my country, and participating this coming elections is the littlest of things that I could do, I'd do it... BUT... is it still worth it? "Mrs Gloria Arroyo is inviting a new military uprising", a statement Brig General Danilo Lim that caught the attention of the media, the people and perhaps, the Philippine Government. Sa mga di mahilig magbasa at manuod ng news, our dear president, had been given a power by the Supreme Court to appoint a new Chief Justice in the the Judiciary which is in contrast to whats on the Philippine Constitution that the president loses power to appoint anybody to a particular position or job role 60 days prior to elections.

I am only an ordinary---normal and not a politically brainy blogger especially if we are talking about the Philippine Constitution so I could not elaborate the decision making process further... And there may be a very good reason why the Supreme Court decided to give the appointment power to Mrs. Arroyo... Good or Bad, it doesn't matter anymore. Kumbaga sa sports, may "GAME PLAN" na ang administrasyon. A very good game plan. This extra power gives Mrs. Arroyo a plus and an advantage whatever would happen after the May 2010 elections.

Villar running as a president, and a few more movements by the administration, GMA may claim her government back...

For now, we could do something to help us get rid of the bad politicians by voting for the right ones and dont' let cheaters cheat you.
