You may remember Ben and Jennifer’s engagement session back in March (if not it can be found here) which was also shot at the plantation. It was nice to photograph them around the grounds that we knew we wouldn’t have time for the day of the wedding. Nevertheless, we always have a great time shooting at the Amelia Island Plantation. Their ceremony took place on the terrace overlooking the sand dunes and beyond to the ocean. Jennifer wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown (I’m partial to flowing chiffon skirts myself). The reception followed inside the Inn. These two are so sweet together and we wish them the best as they begin their journey as husband and wife!

We shot baby Alex last year for her one year photos (you can see them here) so we were honored when her parents (Pam and Jesse Dent) wanted us to shoot her again for her two year photos.  That means we are doing our job! Of course to us, it is more than just a job and we always enjoy spending time with the Dent family. Pam had the great idea of shooting at the courtyard area at the Atlantic Beach Town Center followed by some fun in the sand. We brought some silly props like sand castle building supplies, a hula hoop, and some balloons to add that pop of color. I asked Pam if Alex had a tutu and she said that she not only had one but she had made it herself! So sit back and enjoy our little ballerina.

Kayla and John love to take walks on the beach and are self proclaimed cookie monsters, so it was easy to decide on the location for our shoot! Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine afforded us a non-crowded beach as well as some nice tree cover for our little cookie picnic. I made them a cookie cake with their initials but was wishing I had a patchwork quilt with some aqua in it to complete the look . . . then when we got there Kayla pulled out the perfect quilt that she made. How perfect is that? These two are easy going, silly and made each other laugh the whole shoot! Plus, with her long wavy hair, Kayla could totally be in a shampoo commercial. Andy and I look forward to their September wedding on Kayla’s Grandmother’s estate in Switzerland, Fl.

Allie and David were both looking for love when they realized it was right in front of them in the form of their awesome friendship.  You can really tell these two will be best friends for life which made photographing them a joy. There were so many pretty details from their beautiful venue, Palm Valley Gardens, to Allie’s gorgeous Alvina Valenta gown, the DIY candy bar, petal pink Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dresses, nautical rope boutonnieres, custom made ring bowl, unique hors dourves, to her super cute Lilly Pulitzer after party dress. I could go on and on!

You may remember these two from their sexy beach engagement session posted here. Danielle and Josh were wed at the Comfort Inn Oceanfront in Jacksonville beach. Their orange hued details fit perfectly against the relaxed beach wedding for close family and friends. After that it was off to a Caribbean cruise before returning to their home in Italy.
