Was invited to Revlon's latest media party launch of their new range of lipsticks: Colorstay Ultimate Suede @ MU Parlour Restaurant (16A Lorong Mamborg), 11am to 1pm.

A cup of Cappuccino and canapes to make my morning.

Makeup demonstrations on the spot as well.

Launching 12 different shades of lipsticks.

The one that I applied on is 055 Iconic.

Their foundation and concealer.

Pretty crowded that morning.

Basically, they uses this machine to massage your fats. Kinda like a comfortable pinching feeling, to "roll" out your fats theory!

Lunch of the day: Subway Cold Cut Trio.

7th time I've been to their Singapore Shopping Centre outlet located on the 5th floor.

I really love this lighting decor. Upon taking this photo then I realised that it is actually made up of table lamps! xD

Tried Lipo Laser for the 2nd time.
What I like about it that it's really quick, easy and fuzz-free.
Totally no downtime at all. Good for office ladies who wants to burn fats during their lunch time!

Came home with these goodies waiting for me.

It's more sensitive as compared to the other thigh areas.

However, it was still bearable for me.

First time going to their RB Capital outlet located at Malacca Street. Nearest MRT at Raffles City MRT.
LOTD:

Super duper love their new interior concept. Futuristic, clean and white.

Tried out their Full Brazillian IPL for the first time.
Not as painful as I thought it would be. :D

I'm blessed and grateful to Tracy and her awesome team of professional aestheticians.

2nd Batam Trip

C treated me to a short getaway on our 38th monthsary last month.
Another present he got for me to complete my Stitch costume! x

Our ferry to Batam - Wavemaster 8.

After an hour ride, we reached the Sekupang Ferry Terminal.

Tour bus of the day!

Thank you dear for being so sweet!

At first I was really unhappy that we had to follow the tour but was glad that our tourguide made everything so much better. He's really humorous and straightforward!

First stop at the Kuey Lapis factory. Anyone?

Pretty delicious in various flavours.

Second stop: Chocolate boutique. LOL

The cashier actually recognized C as an actor. LOL

Third, bird nest shop.

Workers picking out the bird nest on the spot for us to see.

Fourth stop, entertainment stop.
Such a hot and sunny day!

Guess what was he trying to do?

Right, peeled off the coconut woody skin with his teeth..

What's next?

Putting a object that was on fire into his mouth...

Not enough for him...

Let's chew some glasses.

However, I didn't really enjoy myself as the masseur kinda sucks, she doesn't have much strength.

After that...... Went to a boutique that sells..

Someone inside recognized C once again.

Went to Batam City Square for a 2 hours of shopping.

At around 6.40pm, we checked into this hotel.

There's a bathtub! LOVES

And I also dig the size of the bed!

Cabbed to Nagoya at around 8pm. Gosh, the streets of Batam was really dark! They don't have much street lights.... :/
Dined at this restaurant that serves Chinese food.

Addictive peanuts.

Wanton soup.

Was so full but C insisted on having his favourite dessert.

That's right, it A&W's ice-cream waffles, something you can't find in Singapore.

Bloated, we got our hotel cab driver to bring us to a massage place he recommended.

And oh gosh, enjoyed the full 2 hours full body massage so much!
The BEST that I've tried so far!
So happy with her I tipped her 6 SGD, causing some jealousy between C's masseur and her. xD

Back at the hotel lobby for some WiFi.

The next morning...
Breakfast at the a shop in Megamall instead of the hotel's buffet breakfast.

Window shopped a while and chilled at Starbucks while waiting for our time to pass.

C sent me to Salon De Choix to get my hair done before going to work.

Elein thought my brows were too dark for my hair, so she helped me to dyed them too.

Korea Day 8 (Last Day)

Woke up quite early that day as we had to check out in the afternoon.
Wanted to take more photos when there isn't so many people on the island too.
Guess what did we spot while walking! :D

He went down the road, the way C went and approached C, scolded the staffs there for not offering us help.
He's actually some sort of manager! Cos the staffs feared him. xD

Korea Day 7

HO HO HO! MERRY X'MAS!

Slept in for a little while more on this every day and went to have lunch at a restaurant that seems to have plenty of Koreans. Must be good to have a full house!

LOTD:

The idea of cooking everything yourself by mixing everything, is kinda cool!

C doing the job.

After lunch, went back hotel to check out.

It's so cute that they call themselves an island of their own, still got their own immigration check point!

Korea Day 5

Bought a pair of Dr Marten inspired boots here at Jongno 3-ga substation for only 25k won!

It was mad cold! Until I had to use C's woolen scarf to cover my whole face. No kidding.

Korea Day 4

Skipped hotel's buffet breakfast and went into one of the restaurant in Myeong-dong.

This pancake isn't that bad though. A bit too dry to my liking.

LOTD:

C decided to have his 2nd hair permed at the same salon he previously went.

Went to search for our dinner! C brought me to this restaurant that sells in-his-opinion, the best Saba fish!

This is like the must-have sauce in Koreans' dinner man - Red pepper sauce.

I know it doesn't look appetizing but damn, it's superb!

One day, I'm so going to get one of these babies home..

Gorgeous outer wear that I was so tempted to get but it was so expensive! 80k won man! Equivalent to almost 90 SGD!

This gotta be our favourite street snack, hands down.

Back at our hotel area, C spotted the truck that sells soup. He really loves that!
While I ate this bread with cheese in it. Not that nice cos it's quite cold and mushy.

Next morning we woke up at around 10 in the morning for the hotel's buffet breakfast.

First time in my life that I saw SNOW!

Look at everyone else shunning from the snow, looking for a shelter and shielding themselves with an umbrella.

It's a hard waffle ball that is topped with different flavors which include chocolate, caramel, strawberry, cinnamon or a plain glaze, originating in Germany.

This ball is thrown into a bag and banged by a hammer a few times before given to you.

A bag of broken up pieces of a hard waffle cone topped with a syrup, the ultimate sweet snack that is like a cookie mix.

For just $3 a ball, it is a cheap street food yum that you can splurge on the calories by making it up with excessive walking and shopping in Myeondong.

Korea Day 1

So frigging excited! I'm finally able to say this:

I WENT TO KOREA BEFORE!

If I didn't remembered wrongly, I changed about 600 SGD.

At the moment when I saw this, I'm like,"DIE! How to buy more stuffs?!?!"

Chillax at TCB with a cup of warm Mocca and a plate of Chocolate of A Thousand Leaves Cake.Layer upon layer of the lightest chocolate sponge cake separated by a moist and wafery hazelnut cream filling. Mama Mia~

All excited and all ready to go! :D
Gotta thank C for that pair of winter shoes he got from me from Japan to keep me warm and fuzzy!

Typing this, reminded me of how I felt at that point of time and I'm not even joking.
It's SOOOOOOO cold until you just keep trembling and wishes you had something really thick that you can wrap your whole face and body up with.

Just came back from my 2nd Batam trip!
Quite a short getaway but it wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be!
Not really use to eating their local delights as it was all too salty/spicy.
Stuffs are much cheaper there of course, but didn't feel all at ease while shopping cos the tour guide warned us that there will be pickpockets, asked us to be-careful.
Talking about our tour guide, he's really humorous guy, made the trip so much more interesting!
1st time going for massage parlor twice in a day. The one at night was like the BEST.
Not kidding! Out of all the experiences I had, it was hands down fantastic. Tipped the aunty 6 SGD till C's masseur was jealous and puzzled why she received so much lesser than her colleague. xD
Alright, need to head to bed now. Gotta wake up early tomorrow for a Revlon event!

2D1N Korean BBQ

Ever since I've got the chance to try the original Korean BBQ in Myeong-dong, I've always been thinking about it.

My first time ever trying Korean BBQ was with the Pinafore cast, after one of our rehearsals practice.

On the 8th of March, was my 2nd time there to satisfy my cravings.
Tried their buffet style! No beef for me!

Digressing, been loving this Cellilux clay mask for quite a bit!
Turns into this very pastel green when completely dry.
Haha, I look like Frankenstein. xD

8 days later, went back to 2D1N again. HAHA!
This time with my ex-sec 4 clique, Wei Xing, Lesley and Carin.
Wanted to try Manbok though, but it was:

I swear I could camwhore anywhere..

Love my current nails so so much! Simple yet classic.
Been a while since I had long chio nails.
A tad not use to them especially when I blog!

First time trying a bowl of Blackball. Totally what I love. Very similar to Snowflake in KL!

I must say that March was the month I've blogged the most compared to the past few months or late 2012.

That Girl In Pinafore Press Conference

Finally the day we had waited for, meeting the media and press with our new movie!

We had our boot camp last year May, started our rehearsal in June, filming in July.
Really miss those times....

Was really glad that I had a chance to be a part of the cast and act along side people who have passion in music and acting.
Got to act as myself in the movie somemore! What more can I ask for?

I was the first to reach Shuffle that day on 4th of March.
Was really excited the previous night until I couldn't sleep well, thus the shag/a lil grumpy face in the morning.

Ghost Child Gala

Made our way down to Vivo on 5th of March for the gala.

FIRST FACIAL EVER

Was glad that Glomax Aesthetics invited me down for a pampering session.
Headed down to Clarke Quay. Soho2 is just next to Central.

Went through a session of consultation. The beautician said that my skin is pretty good! :D
Always good to hear that, means my hard work haven't gone to waste!
But I tend to have breakouts at my chin and forehead areas.
She recommended that I purchase a milk cleanser to remove my makeup cos oil-based to be much for my face. She decided to let me undergo Luminous Detox Energie Care Treatment. It's 90 minutes long and cost $168, if you're interested. ;)

Because I've applied sunscreen before I stepped out of my house, the beautician used a milk cleanser to massage my face before we proceed.

Grooming Day!

Really love how I can step out of the house without putting on any makeup on my face at all!

As I've mentioned, brows are certainly very important to a face as it frames your face.
If you have brows that people can barely see, you will look like a ghost.
If your brows are too thick, you will look like Shin-chan.
