I am completely happy with 118.8. As I said before, anything under 120 is good. I am going to use 118.8 as my "end" weight even though it was technically 120.6, but I don't count that because I cheated so much the day before. So, today I started with great resolve to follow the no sugar no starch rules of Phase 3. How did I do? Well, I had 3 apples, two 200 gram salmon filets, and drumroll please..........2 sugar cookies. AAH! Well, we will see what my weight is in the morning and I will do another steak day if needed. I was going to try to get to 115 for a 5 pound cushion but I cheated a little today. I ate some tomato sauce and a good size glob of bread dough. Not horrible, but a cheat. I think that is my signal that I am getting burned out. Last Round, I kept going while cheating at the end and I ended up gaining weight back before stopping. I don't want that to happen again. I want to have the stamina to do Phase 3 correctly and I cannot do Phase 3 if I am completely burned out from Phase 2. So, I am going to stop the drops tomorrow! I have decided to keep going even though I reached my 120 goal. I anticipate that at some point I will gain some back and I want to give my self a cushion. <br />
So, I am a little disappointed that my stomach does not look great yet. It looks good with clothes on but it does this little droopy thing that I don't care for. I did a little online research on this and it is one of two things. Either it is extra skin or it is some stubborn subcutaneous fat. I think it is the latter of the two because it is not paper thin as excess skin would be. I am hoping it is fat and not skin because I can definitely get rid of the fat through exercise and some abdominal work...at least I think so. As I get closer to finishing Phase 2 I am starting to think about Phase 3, which is no sugar, no starch for 3 weeks. Last Round, I didn't do it at all. Okay, I gave it a try for about a week and then I was done. Even with not doing it, I only gained about 5lbs which isn't bad considering I didn't do P3 or P4. I just don't want to gain back anything this time because I don't want to do this diet again. The best advice about P3 that I have read is to start P3 by continuing the P2 diet but eating more of it. That makes it pretty hard to mess up.
