Center Operations Manager/RN / Dialysis Nurse

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate nursing services of a RAI care center
Provide leadership for the clinical staff in the day-to-day clinic operation
Collaborate with the Center Director in personnel actions, hiring and yearly evaluations
Plan and direct the nursing care of the patients
Supervise the clinical activities of all clinical staff
Determine patient and staff schedules
Oversees job specific training and mentoring programs
Monitor patient outcomes
Develops and/or oversees development of short and long term goals of the patients
Ensures that the center complies with all RAI policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations including OSHA, CMS, AAMI, HIPPA
Ensures that medical records are complete and care center is survey ready at all times
Assist Center Director to meet target budgetary indicators and net earnings per patient to include: cost of goods, treatments per patient and FTE costs
Work as a team member to improve these outcomes

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. RN license in state of practice; CNN preferred

Experience: A minimum of three years of dialysis nursing experience. Management experienced preferred.

Micro-Biology Supervisor

Responsible for assisting in the supervision of assigned staff in accordance with their job descriptions, maintaining a high standard of work and for timely and accurate reporting of tests in their section on all shifts. Main function is to lead the Microbiology Department in performing identification and susceptibilities of microorganisms. Requires knowledge in the identification and reporting of parasites. Must be cognizant of accrediting agency requirements and maintains manuals, logs and other documents to their standards. Monitors and compiles contamination rates of blood cultures. Compiles data for infection control reports and antibiograms. Must keep current with infectious disease agents and current technologies. Performs bench work as needed and in accordance with Policy and Procedures. Organizes and prepares specimens for analysis, performs routine analysis and reports results in a timely manner. Reports critical values according to patient age. Performs duties which may require both technical and professional judgment. Participates in developing and implementing all policies relating to quality improvement, quality control, instrument and inventory maintenance and personnel safety and productivity. May be required to evaluate and write procedures for new methods, participate in teaching, continuing education, validation of instruments or methods and other supervisory activities. May be required to supervise the entire laboratory on rotating weekends and holidays, to attend laboratory related committee meetings and to perform other such duties as required by the Laboratory Director. The DQM will be responsible for coordinating the comprehensive program for the review of patient care.
