<itunes:summary>This is a recording of a rehearsal I did before Bryan and I kicked off our tour last night at the lovely Stain Bar in Brooklyn. We'll be recording as we go as well, and I hope to put together a little audio documentary piece.

Stay tuned!</itunes:summary>

		<itunes:subtitle>a fourth collection of songs I like.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>I went a bit rough with the transitions this time around, but I think this little collection of tracks is quite enjoyable even so. :-)

01 Music for Tundra - Tim Hecker
02 PSA - Whales (Nick Sanborn)
03 Polychords - Matmos
04 My Bad! - Guitars
05 Ladies and Gentleman We Are Floating in Space - Spiritualized
06 Your Good Arm - Inlets
07 Women of the World - Ivor Cutler &amp; Linda Hirst
08 Carolyn Calling - He Can Jog

		<title>Middlemarch Podcast No. 03</title>
		<itunes:author>He Can Jog</itunes:author>
		<itunes:subtitle>A third collection of songs I like.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>01 Solvent - When the Sun Hits
This is from the &quot;Blue Skied An Clear&quot; Morr Music compilation of Slowdive covers. Slowdive is one of my favorite bands, and this is a pretty stellar interpretation I think.

02 4 Hero - The Action
I've been on a big nostalgia kick for all the old acid jazz and drum n' bass I used to saturate my listening with in the late 90s. 4 Hero's Two Pages was one of the first records if its kind I ever heard - lots of good memories.

03 Walter Meego - Forever
My band opened for these guys last year (or sheesh was it 2006?) and they blew me away then. This is a track from their new record - you should drop everything and preorder it immediately.

04 Second Hand Citizen - Winter
Drew of Second Hand Citizen just sent me this rough cut - I made the beat, and Drew is rapping and playing guitar on it. Mike's part to follow soon.

05 Jazzanova - Absolute Space
Remember how I said I was on an acid jazz kick?

06 So - B
This is Markus Popp's most recent album I think. Can that be true? It's from 2002 I'm pretty sure, and is all deconstructions of Japanese folk singer Eriko Toyoda. It's also incredibly gorgeous.

07 Robb Monn - It Is The Pull of Each to Every Other
Robb is one half of the fuzzcore group &quot;Ohler&quot;

		<title>Middlemarch Podcast No. 02</title>
		<itunes:author>He Can Jog</itunes:author>
		<itunes:subtitle>a second collection of songs I like.</itunes:subtitle>
		<itunes:summary>Total Time: 31 minutes 34 seconds

01: Meaning of Free - AllThatFall
From &quot;remakes of lara&quot; on my netlabel Luvsound. LOVE this one.

02: Headlights vs Autechre vs Joe Colley vs Tsukimono
So, for some reason I decided to take every song in my itunes library that was three minutes and twenty four seconds long and try to see if I could mix them in such a way that they could all play at once and not sound terrible. I ended up making a max patch to mix them together and I think it turned out pretty neat! The headlights song carries the harmony.

03: Parallel Universe - 4 Hero
Did anyone else poop their pants when this came out? Some sweet acid jazz meets drum and bass from 1995 or so.

04: Send Me Shivers - Mouse on Mars

05: The Five Year Old Complaining About His Beard - Zach Galafinakis
I think this is pretty much the funniest 20 seconds in comedy this world will ever see.

06: Soul Rebels - Reflection Eternal
I went on a major Hi Tek kick recently. His beats are what first made me want to try my hand at working with an MC.

07: Paths in Soft Focus - Savath and Savalas

08: Aeolian 01 - Bryan Teoh
Bryan doesn't know I put this on! Hope he doesn't kill me. An excerpt from one of his film scores. Gorgeous gorgeous layered guitar work.

09: Lara - Haunted Shack
You heard it first on em411! ;-) Love this.

10: Last Hymn - Gavin Bryars
From &quot;the sinking of the titanic&quot; - the one from the 90s, not the new one on Touch. Is the new one good?</itunes:summary>
