With my job I am incredibly busy, and unfortunately eat most my meals on the go at fast food chain restaurants, but this diet came with a cookbook of things that I was able to make ahead of time on Sunday night and then eat through out the week.

In the first ten days I lost 10 pounds, but not only did I lose weight, I also felt better in general. I could tell what my old eating habits were doing to me. Give it a try, SlimMe1 is working for me and could be working for you.

I had to return back to work after the dentist only to find we had some banners fall down. I had to break out the old hammer and nails right away and get that fixed before finishing the rest of my daily duties. That is just me complaining, but rightfully so. I’m kind of tired of having to do all the work, only because no one else will – if I left the banners hanging half up, would anyone else have picked up the slack. Chances are, no! Sad and true story from the highly underpaid. You know what I mean right?

So tonight, I’m quickly posting my blog while I wait to head out on a date. I’m not sure where we are going to eat yet, but we are going to watch the new John Cusack movie, “The Raven”! I’m kind of looking forward to the night, it’s our third date. I’m already thinking ahead to number four and cheating, I googled ideas.

My latest adventure was Monday night where I, the single guy was in charge of putting together the Oh Baby Show! An expo featuring information and product for planning, expecting and parents who just had a baby.  Last year I had to put the whole thing together, this year we hired someone else to plan and I just needed to execute.

Needless to say, I’m done with babies for awhile.

Moving on… what else has been happening? In my world we move that project right on to the next, unfortunately the next project I get is later Wednesday at the dentist. I really hate the dentist, plus they always make me lie; “When is the last time you flossed?” well doc…. ummm when was the last time I was here? That’s probably not good huh? I need to “brush” up on my dental care. Wish me luck.

Moving on, last night I was watching television before heading to sleep and I got pulled into one of my favorite shows. I haven’t seen it in awhile, but I was completely hooked in during the first season. “Justified”,  love that show. FX never disappoints, because how many times have you been glued to “Always Sunny in Philadelphia”? By the way, have you seen the ads for the new show coming soon to FX, “Anger Management”, starring Charlie Sheen!

Alright, I better go and enjoy some breakfast, I’m already wishing for pancakes, eggs and bacon.

Going to live shows / concerts are probably one of my top 5 favorite things to do. Going out to just enjoy the music, watch the crowd, interact with people and dance a few times on the dance floor is just simple fun. It could be a large concert venue, medium like at Lund Arena on the Gustavus Adolphus Campus like weekend or even a smaller venue at a bar, it’s always an adventure!

Anyway that was my weekend, we had few thunderstorms pass through which was relaxing and a sign of spring. As I mentioned yesterday in my blog, I’m still continuing on my diet. You know what, they should make a movie based on my diet, know what we would call it… The Hunger Games!

You wouldn’t believe how much free food has been offered to me in the last few weeks as well. People come out of the wood work when you’re trying to be healthy; to either tell you their secret or to offer you food! I had to work a few different events for the radio station I work for. Each one had something free; pop, bagels, hot dogs and pizza!

First question I had when I started this diet was how? I googled some diet ideas at first, then after talking to a few friends realized it all comes down to calories. In. Out. It gets to be pretty simple if you just remember that and focus on doing a little more exercise. And by simple, I actually don’t mean simple at all – but the concept is pretty simple. Oh, Man! Another pizza commercial on TV, there seems to be more and more of those commercials when you diet too.

Other than baseball, March Madness wrapped up tonight too… there is just plenty of things to be excited about right now! From Sports, warmer weather and Easter! Which it’s time for another big family meal coming up this Sunday, I always look forward to those!

The roommates and I did grill again tonight, it was an amazing steak. Hopefully you have had the chance to light the grill in the last few weeks again, I think this summer is going to have to be all about being outdoors, slowing down and enjoying the weather! I feel all I have done is ramble this entire blog, I’m going to check on the March Madness game. Later.

I think the movie looks awesome, but I’m sure there is going to be plenty of people who say that the movie takes away from the true sport of hockey. Now don’t get me wrong, I love the sport of hockey, but how awesome is it when your favorite player takes out the pain in the ass on the other team! It’s great, so here is a movie just based on that part of the game, right?

There needs to be more hockey movies like this. Do you remember “Slap Shot”, oh man – that was a great hockey movie! Now the only problem is, the movie hasn’t come to a theater in town this weekend.

Note: It will be a big year for Stiffler. Look for him in “American Reunion” as well.
