Decent equipment
Overall decent equipment. Only issue so far is paint on weights is beginning to flake off. Other than that fair to good equipment.

Weight a minute
Yup, they're still making good weights and Serious Steel shipped mine out without incident. As stated in other reviews, make sure you're available (or can be) for a day when these contract carriers deliver. Mine came on a pallet which the deliverer rolled right up next my front door for me. There are 5 boxes and the bar which you are to inspect *before* signing for the shipment. Just plan ahead to briefly check the boxes & bar so in the excitement of anticipating moving 300lbs you don't forget to check your boxes.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed the handle design. I new it'd be better than the typical plates, but didn't realize HOW nice until actually moving some around! (very smart design)

Only minor con for me was in combination with the plate load tree I selected. (**Not that the load tree was bad - I'm quite pleased with it and would select it again above the others I saw!) As I mention on its review, these 45lb and 35lb plates hit when placed on adjacent bars (I got the Powerline OWT24 EZ Olympic Plate Load Tree - read that review for a better description of that problem). Once I figure out what I'll generally be lifting I can arrange it so there shouldn't be any problem. Another option could be to put 45s both on the same side of the tree, with 35s on the opposite side. None of the other weights are wide enough to cause similar problems.

If I didn't miss the delivery man would have been delivered in 2-3days ( make sure someone is home when its shipped to sign for pkg. the painting on the weight looks to be very durable and couldn't have asked for more HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

It's a steal!
The item shipped within only a few days. The packing is sufficient and the item is very sturdy. Should you have back pain and bought this table to help ease it, you'll need some help with the transportation and set-up. The assembly instruction is written for experienced assemblers of exercise equipment, but the ATIS 1000 is worth every penny.

The construction is very robust; the tilt mechanism works like a charm and you won't even need it, if you balance the table properly.

The set up takes about 45 minutes, if you're 'back-pain free'. The ankle brackets are much nicer than just bars across and the discomfort is bearable even after 30 minutes hanging up-side down.

"Does it work?" you might ask. Yes, it did for me. It took me a few times to figure out at what angle I could get the most relief, but after only a week of daily 15-20 minutes treatments I'm mostly pain free. This is huge after dealing with the pain for more than 8 weeks and pointless (and expensive) trips to the chiropractor. Overall, it's a steal and it works.

Great product, I researched at nausea and decided on this table due to the need for both inversion and ab workouts. I read most of the Amazon reviews for the product and reviews on other sites as well. A couple of things I found that differ from other reviews - there is a very long review on Amazon that mentions a few issues with the assembly instructions - well somebody was listening because the instructions I received did not have those errors / omissions. I read several reviews that commented on the assembly time on person claimed 10 minutes (you can unpack the product in 10 minutes!) another said more than 2 hours. I am a very mechanical person who used his own tools versus those supplied and I assembled the unit in under 45 minutes working at a very relaxed pace. If I was trying hard I could easily do it in under 30. Once assembled, I tried it out and made adjustments to the headrest height and step bar height to meet my needs.

I was very happy with the stability of the unit, ease of use and the flexibility of the height adjustment. I am 6'2 and the unit fits me best on the 6'3 setting, my 5'4.5 wife fits the 5'5 setting and my 10 yr old son was able to easily use the unit set at 4'9. This morning I did a full ab workout on the table and was very pleased with it as an exercise table.

My advice to those looking for a combo inversion / ab table, don't spend crazy money this table rocks and is clearly the best value available. At $207 no tax / no shipping you can't beat it!

Excellent product, excellent customer service
When I received the inversion table the locking mechanism was stiff and didn't always work. In addition, the thread on one of the bolts became stripped while I was trying to assemble it. I got in touch with customer service by both phone and email, and was astonished at how friendly and efficient they were. Within a few days I had a replacement set of legs. Since then the machine has worked exactly as advertised. It feels solid and very stable. It is easy for one person to operate alone. The foot holders work well, but you begin to feel it after about 4 minutes - better if you wear a pair of slippers.

Insert the rope with 85 Spring through into the square bracket on the 3 Boom and pull it out from the other end of the square bracket of the 3 Boom. Slide the 9 Heel Holder frame completely into the square bracket, insert the 68 Hex Head Bolt with a 60 Washer halfway through the square bracket, slide the 68 Hex Head Bolt through the ring at the bottom of the 85 Spring, slide the bolt through the rest of the square bracket and secure at the other end with a 60 Washer and 67 Nylon Nut. Now you can remove the rope from bottom of the 85 Spring. Finally, attach the 17 Square End Cap onto the back of square bracket of 9 Heel Holder Frame that was removed."

Got it??? If not, it's easier done than read. Better visuals and simplified text would help.

Also, it might be helpful for some to read that part three of the assembly instructions - "Placing the Bed onto Pivor Frame" does not clearly advise on the orientation of the bed. In other words, following just the instructions and the simple visual, it is very easy to install the table incorrectly and, in effect, backwards. A short note identifying the front and back legs of the frame would significantly help placement. The company made assembly more difficult then it needed to be.

Again, a good product with poor instructions.

Ironman ATIS 1000 arrived quickly. First unit had serious missing parts and damaged parts. Called 800 # in manual and they were great in sending a totally new unit that was perfect. So, I had to disassemble old and assemble new unit! Day first unit arrived Amazon dropped price and Amaszon IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT IN ANY WAY BEYOND INITIAL ORDER! Would appreciate the new price difference over what I paid! Ironman machine is VERY WELL MADE. Would not buy any unit which does not offer the 10 position locking table. Also, the ankle cuffs (standard on this Ironman) hold me very comfortably with no thought of slipping. Don't have to purchase separate ankle cuffs as with the Teeter units or most others. In summary: Although the 1st machine arrived with "issues", and although I directly called the West Coast Importer (PARADIGM) for another unit, it was still worth it. The machine has all the correct features and is well constructed. My real gripe is that Amazon is impossible to contact for any reason beyond their stock customer response issues. I find that scarry.

Nice Bike. Worth the money!
This is a really nice bike. I was skeptical about spending so much for a recumbent bike, but it's worth the money. It's very quiet, well made, and has a lot of nice user features. For people with back problems, this is a good investment. I bought it because I have back problems and am unable to do other kinds of cardio, but this gives me a good cardio workout without causing me any pain. It did take a while to assemble, but we didn't have any problems.

Great stationary bike.
Excellent bike, very comfortable seat, even after a long ride there's no stiffness in your back or bottom. This is important because at gym bikes similiar to this after 30 minutes i've felt this numbness where there was pressure the whole time on your back, bottom or both.

Easy to assemble, takes awhile though. Good instructions.

This is absolutely silent while in use, while you're peddling you can watch tv and not even need the sound turned up. I really am amazed, now you can exercise without bothering others in the room or in the house. Late at night for example.

Very well packaged, with amazon prime it was less then 5 dollars for next day overnight shipping, how in the world do you do that?

Cons:

Display is not really intuitive. It should not be this complicated to get setup. You have to read the manual to figure it out. The type at the gym is just get on and go, press quick start, not this one. Is that expecting too much?

Also the display has a lot of areas lit up that isn't displaying information, meaning the areas that are displaying information "bleed" over into the other areas. Being a color lcd has no effect or cool factor on the information so its a waste of money.

Overall very happy and amazed, little bit of a let down with the screen but still functional and the great points make up for the few nit picky things.

I purchased this product after some research on the web including Amazon reviews. I received the bike within 10 days of the order in good shape. Since I am not handy, I paid my regular handyman to assemble the bike for me who did it in 2 hours. I am very satisfied with the bike's performance so far.

I love my new bike!
I've had my Schwinn 240 for just a little over a week and I love it! I started out using it for just a few minutes at a time a few times a day. My knees feel better already - not nearly as stiff as they were. The first day I only did a total of 8 1/2 minutes; today I did 25 minutes in three sessions.

The seat and back are extremely comfortable and I really like the walk-through frame. I had used an older model at a gym a couple years ago that wasn't walk-through - this is so much better.

My son, with minor help from me (mostly holding parts), put it together in about 1 1/2 hours. I printed off the assembly instructions from the Amazon website as someone had advised in their review.

Even though I selected free shipping, it only took 10 days from the date of order to date of delivery.

I'm really glad I ordered this recumbent exercise bike.

Some very strong good points and some weak points as well
I got this razor for my loving him. His findings are that this is a very good razor. He is most impressed with the job it does of quickly and smoothly removing his whiskers. He also likes the floating head.

On the down side, he tells me that he finds the shape of the razor somewhat irritating, in that the shaving head is on a different plane than the handle. This make shaving not quite so straight forward as it would be with a regularly shaped razor. An even worse problem is that he does have some facial hair, and he finds that the large shaving head is harder to maneuver easily around the hairs that he wishes to keep.

So, in his opinion, this razor has some very strong good points, and some weak points as well.

What a shaver
After using a blade (or 4) for over 35+ years, I decided to go electric. Best thing I ever did concerning shaving. I thought I couldn't get as close as a blade...WRONG. It will get as close as a blade. No skin irritation. I don't mind shaving (after a shower at night and then) again in the morning. Other brands must use their cleaning solution; this is easy: hand soap & water. The head pivots in all directions, pop up trimmer. The ES-LA93 comes with it's own bowl for cleaning & storage, but is it worth $100. more? For me no. I got a really good price from an Amazon dealer, so this one was even more attractive. It's a wet/dry shaver so I use shaving gel then shave. Very smooth. I'll use this until it dies. Then buy another. No more blades for me.

Great Razor
Been shaving with a blade for the last 38 years. Never found an electric razor that could give me a close shave over my entire face and neck including the best models from Remmington, Norelco and Braun. All god razors but did not give me the shave I needed. Reading the reviews all over the internet, I wanted to try the new Panasonic. The wet shave really had me interested but the price was way too high for an experiment. Amazon's $100 discount led me to take a chance. Very good shave from day one. After a month it is a great shave! As my face adjusts it gets better and better. Just using water on my face,this razor gives me a shave that is 98% as good as a blade without irritated and sore skin. My facial skin feels and appears much better. If you get a sale you will get a great shave and a better deal. If not on sale, you still get a great shave.

Shave review
This shaver is a very good product. I especially like how the head pivots as it moves and contours to my face. It had good blades and is easy to clean. It holds a charge for a long time and is light and easy to use. I would recommend this shave to anyone. I have a light beard and only shave a couple times a week. But I think it would work fine for any guy, regardless of how often they have to shave.

How close do you want to get?
The first thing I should say is that you can get as close as you want. Closer than a blade, because with a blade if you add pressure, you get nicks and cutes.

Do you want to get so close that your skin will feel extremely raw? Do you want to get even further beyond where you start bleeding? Even further beyond, I've gotten so close that I've taken out my epidermis, my skin is raw to the bone and I have no hair, smoother than a babies behind; their legs.

How quick is the shave? Well if you just want a quick shave, this thing will give it to you. I got a good shave in less than a minute. At 14,000 micro-vibrations you can basically get a good shave in a minute. Very fast, very quick, very impressive. The head is huge, so that means you can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.

Do you want a comfortable shave? Dang, this thing is very very comfortable. It felt like I was rubbing my face with a cloud. Yes, the blades spin that fast that it feels like you've got some kind of cloudy heat pad on your face. Rubbing it up and down, no irritations, very comfortable. Now if you shave for a while, it will get hot. And, if you shave for a while, your skin will get raw and a little irritated. All depending on how close you want to get. Basically, you won't get any irritations if you shave quick; for those with sensitive skin, do not shave for a long period of time. This shaver is very good for sensitive skin.

Does it clean? Yes, put liquid soap on the top, run for a few seconds, and run it under the water. The shaver comes with instructions on how to properly clean. I will also take the top off and rinse off the blades; accidentally hit the blades to the sink while they were on; ouch. It still works though. Then soak the top in alcohol if you want, or set to dry.

The neck? "Conquered the skies, conquered Mount Everest, conquered the moon, CONQUERED the neck," (Phillips commercial) But, the Panasonic es-la63-s also conquers the neck. I'm going to be honest, it does take a while to shave the neck, but it gets very close, I was surprised. I had to pull back some of my skin and shave in 100 different directions, but I finally got all of the neck and the only hair remaining is the Adam's apple which is too sensitive to shave to the bone.

It has an LCD screen that tells you how long you have been shaving. And, don't worry about dropping it because it has an incredible grip.

Last comments, don't shave in the shower, you can if you want, but my experience was that the water slowed down the blades and couldn't get a good shave. You can use shaving cream to shave though, the blades won't slow down unless you run it through water which includes the shower. Also, my hair type is fast growing hair, not very rough or tough, but still a bit of a challenge. This blade didn't slow down when cutting my hair.

Great Weights
Bought these for my husband who is doing the P90X. He loves them and now he looks ripped.

Bad
The weights kept getting stuck and it would stick to the base. Bad experience so I returned it. Shame.

For those with managed expectations, this is a winner
OK, I've used a lot of knock-offs in various community centers and hotel gyms, along with the SectTech dumbbells. I read a review and agree that the 2009/2010 variant is much more sturdy than previous versions, so be advised.

They are not as rugged or wieldy as octagonal dumbbells for super circuit training or SEAL type workouts, but they are perfect for getting in some sets for definition and general strength.

The main thing is not to abuse them. If you are doing something that would chip the paint on octagonal dumbbells, you are damaging the SelectTech dumbbells. They should be raised and lowered 90 degrees from the floor in a smooth and steady motion. Also, I recommend telling any kids that they are off-limits. Then again, I think children should be kept away from all fitness equipment for safety reasons.

Some people complain about having to turn two dials. These may be the same people who wish a beer would open itself and pour itself into their mouths. I mean, come on, you are about to do a minimum of 3-sets with 10 or more reps. What is the setback from turning two dials - sheesh?!

In a nutshell, if you find yourself capable of tolerating the major inconvenience of turning a dial over moving a magnetic pin, this is the winner over PowerBlocks and other knock-off sliding systems. Of course, the other alternatives to turning the dials are maintaining 110lbs. of dumbbells or changing the plate systems the old fashioned way. Enjoy!

Tired of going to the gym?
I gave up on going to the gym because it was getting too expensive and took a lot of time. I bought these bowflex dumbbells and have been very happy with them. They cost less than 1 month at the gym, which I wasnt utilizing anyway. It is very easy to change weights and its is nice to focus on repetive exercising rather than muscle building because you can get a nice cardio workout while watching tv.

safety issues
Initially I loved how easily I could switch how much weight I needed and how little space they took up. However, there were a few occasions that I had sections of weights suddenly fall out. I remember one time having to suddenly jump back to avoid the weight that would have landed on my foot. I was concerned that one of these weights could potentially hit me in the head. Honestly, I am scared to use these weights anymore.
