However, with the right weight training program and the correct body building diets, you can see a great difference in a couple of months. You see, it&#8217;s all about how hard you train and how well you eat. If you are one of those folks who consume fast food twice a day, you&#8217;d better get ready to make some drastic changes. This will sadly get you nowhere. In order to get stacked you&#8217;ll need to start one of the many recommended body building diets. I&#8217;m talking about a lot of protein, vitamins and minerals, but hardly any fat, sugar, and salt. Remember, you truly are what you eat. Just take a gander at the American population.<br />

The collaboration of health food and whey protein is a sure win. It&#8217;s time to get pumped.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The narcissist lacks empathy. Consequently, he is not really interested in the lives, emotions, needs, preferences, and hopes of people around him. Even his nearest and dearest are, to him, mere instruments of gratification. They require his undivided attention only when they &#8220;malfunction&#8221; &#8211; when they become disobedient, independent, or critical. He loses all interest in them if they cannot be &#8220;fixed&#8221; (for instance, when they are terminally ill or develop a modicum of personal autonomy and independence).</p>
<p>Once he gives up on his erstwhile sources of supply, the narcissist proceeds to promptly and peremptorily devalue and discard them. This is often done by simply ignoring them &#8211; a facade of indifference that is known as the &#8220;silent treatment&#8221; and is, at heart, hostile and aggressive. Indifference is, therefore, a form of devaluation. People find the narcissist &#8220;cold&#8221;, &#8220;inhuman&#8221;, &#8220;heartless&#8221;, &#8220;clueless&#8221;, &#8220;robotic or machine-like&#8221;.</p>
<p>Early on in life, the narcissist learns to disguise his socially-unacceptable indifference as benevolence, equanimity, cool-headedness, composure, or superiority. &#8220;It is not that I don&#8217;t care about others&#8221; &#8211; he shrugs off his critics &#8211; &#8220;I am simply more level-headed, more resilient, more composed under pressure &#8230; They mistake my equanimity for apathy.&#8221;</p>
<p>The narcissist tries to convince people that he is compassionate. His profound lack of interest in his spouse&#8217;s life, vocation, interests, hobbies, and whereabouts he cloaks as benevolent altruism. &#8220;I give her all the freedom she can wish for!&#8221; &#8211; he protests &#8211; &#8220;I don&#8217;t spy on her, follow her, or nag her with endless questions. I don&#8217;t bother her. I let her lead her life the way she sees fit and don&#8217;t interfere in her affairs!&#8221;. He makes a virtue out of his emotional truancy.</p>
<p>All very commendable but when taken to extremes such benign neglect turns malignant and signifies the voidance of true love and attachment. The narcissist&#8217;s emotional (and, often, physical) absence from all his relationships is a form of aggression and a defense against his own thoroughly repressed feelings.</p>
<p>In rare moments of self-awareness, the narcissist realizes that without his input &#8211; even in the form of feigned emotions &#8211; people will abandon him. He then swings from cruel aloofness to maudlin and grandiose gestures intended to demonstrate the &#8220;larger than life&#8221; nature of his sentiments. This bizarre pendulum only proves the narcissist&#8217;s inadequacy at maintaining adult relationships. It convinces no one and repels many.<br />
<span id="more-465"></span><br />
The narcissist&#8217;s guarded detachment is a sad reaction to his unfortunate formative years. Pathological narcissism is thought to be the result of a prolonged period of severe abuse by primary caregivers, peers, or authority figures. In this sense, pathological narcissism is, therefore, a reaction to trauma. Narcissism is a form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that got ossified and fixated and mutated into a personality disorder.</p>
<p>All narcissists are traumatized and all of them suffer from a variety of post-traumatic symptoms: abandonment anxiety,<br />
reckless behaviors, anxiety and mood disorders, somatoform disorders, and so on. But the presenting signs of narcissism rarely indicate post-trauma. This is because pathological narcissism is an efficient coping (defense) mechanism. The narcissist presents to the world a facade of invincibility, equanimity, superiority, skilfulness, cool-headedness, invulnerability, and, in short: indifference.</p>
<p>This front is penetrated only in times of great crises that threaten the narcissist&#8217;s ability to obtain narcissistic supply. The narcissist then &#8220;falls apart&#8221; in a process of disintegration known as decompensation. The dynamic forces which render him paralyzed and fake &#8211; his vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and fears &#8211; are starkly exposed as his defenses crumble and become dysfunctional. The narcissist&#8217;s extreme dependence on his social milieu for the regulation of his sense of self-worth are painfully and pitifully evident as he is reduced to begging and cajoling.</p>
<p>At such times, the narcissist acts out self-destructively and anti-socially. His mask of superior equanimity is pierced by displays of impotent rage, self-loathing, self-pity, and crass attempts at manipulation of his friends, family, and colleagues. His ostensible benevolence and caring evaporate. He feels caged and threatened and he reacts as any animal would do &#8211; by striking back at his perceived tormentors, at his hitherto &#8220;nearest&#8221; and &#8220;dearest&#8221;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Scientists say that we only use 10% of our minds.  Think about what I just said.  We use only 10% of our minds!  We are wasting the other 90%.  Think of it this way.what if we only used 10% of our salary?  Could we survive on 10% of our salary?  No way, unless your Bill Gates.  What about eating only 10% of the food we make?  Wouldn&#8217;t that be a waste of food?  What if we slept only 10% of 8 hours or 80 minutes a day?  Could we survive?  What if we had only 10% of the oxygen that was available?  Could we survive?  The answer to all these questions is a resounding NO!</p>
<p>So why do we put up with using only 10% of our brain?  Look at your life.  Are you living the life you want.on your terms?  Are you happy with what you&#8217;ve created or do you think it could be better?  Chances are that you are living to only 10% of your abilities.  What if you could make your life 100, 500, or 1,000% better?  I can hear you now saying&#8221;That&#8217;s impossible&#8221; or &#8220;that&#8217;s too hard to do.&#8221;   If you did say that, you&#8217;re repeating the same pattern in your life, which is you are using only 10% of your brain or less.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re happy with using just the 10% of your brain then stop reading now.  If you&#8217;re not satisfied and want to be able to use the rest of it then keep reading.  Think about the greatness you can achieve by using your entire mind.  There have been a number of great teachers of using the mind, such as Napoleon Hill, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Maxwell Maltz and many others.  These men knew the secret to using the power of your mind and how to tap into it.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m here to tell you that you currently posses the most powerful tool in the Universe.your SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.  Your subconscious mind knows everything.  It has all the answers if you just use it correctly.  It can lead you to a life of harmony, wealth, health, joy and success!  This is possible with all aspects of your life.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not your fault.  You were never taught how to use your mind.  The past is over and today can be a new start.  It doesn&#8217;t matter what happened before today, what matters is what happens from today on.  You must believe in your subconscious mind and know that it can allow you to lead a life of joy and success.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s start off with a very simple procedure.  Use your subconscious mind as an alarm clock.  Before going to bed at night, tell it what time you want to get up.  Let&#8217;s say you want to wake up at 7:00am.  Before going to bed, tell your subconscious mind to &#8220;wake me up at 7:00am&#8221; and while saying this visualize a clock that reads 7:00.<br />
<span id="more-463"></span><br />
The first step in changing your life is to start making impressions on your subconscious mind.  You can so this by making affirmations as well as thinking certain thoughts.  For example, let&#8217;s say you want to attract money in your life.  You can simply repeat these words &#8220;I am wealth and success&#8221;.  Repeat these words several times a day.  It&#8217;s best to say them in the morning when you get up and right before you sleep.  This is when your mind is in an alpha state.  When saying them, make sure you really mean them and focus on the words.  Don&#8217;t feel it&#8217;s a chore or else it will not do you any good. You can also say them while meditating.</p>
<p>This can work for anything.  Make sure the affirmations are positive and not stating the negative.  For example, if you want to quit smoking, don&#8217;t say &#8220;I don&#8217;t smoke&#8221;.  Instead say &#8220;My lungs are pure and healthy and I am cigarette free.&#8221;   &#8220;I am&#8221; are two of the most powerful words in the English language.</p>
<p>Also, it&#8217;s very important to think positively, don&#8217;t say to yourself, &#8220;I&#8217;m just never lucky&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;m just meant to be poor.&#8221;  Think the opposite, &#8220;I am lucky&#8221; or &#8220;Things always work out to my favor&#8221; and I am wealthy and successful.&#8221;   If you have trouble believing yourself when you say them then change them to become more believable.  You can start small or say &#8220;I am becoming wealthy.&#8221;</p>
<p>If you need help with a problem or are in a situation where you have to make a tough decision and don&#8217;t know which is the best for you.  Ask your subconscious mind for help.  Let&#8217;s say you are contemplating two separate job offers and you are having trouble deciding between the two.  Ask your subconscious mind for help by asking it.  You may say something like &#8220;Infinite wisdom of my subconscious mind, I ask for your help in deciding what is best between these two job offers, I ask for your help and guidance in making a decision that is best for me.&#8221;</p>
<p>Be still and listen to your subconscious mind.  Close your eyes if need be and do not force anything to come to you but just be still and listen.  If the answer doesn&#8217;t come right away, that&#8217;s ok.  It&#8217;s probably searching for the answer and it may take a little bit of time.  But, I assure you, the answer will come..maybe the next day or next week.  You just need to be alert and have your antennas up.  The answer may come from something outside of you, perhaps after you wake up.  You may be clear in your thoughts on what to do.  You may read or hear something that may enlighten you on what to do.  You may receive your answer by running into a friend and he may say something that may help you decide.  Just be patient and do not get frustrated and think too much about it.  By doing so, you are delaying the answer form coming to you.</p>

<p>When you don&#8217;t have enough blood circulating in your scalp, then your hair roots don&#8217;t get enough nutrients to support the life and strength of your hair in the follicle.</p>
<p>The hardest place to get good circulation is at the top of your scalp.  It is the furthest point away from your heart.  It is the area that is less stimulated. <p>Its understandable that many people think of their bones as hard, unchanging objects that help to support the body as a whole. The truth, however, is that bones, like any other part of your body, are actually living things that constantly fall away and rebuild throughout your entire life. In the medical community its called bone remodeling. The cells that are responsible for bone growth are a vital part of how a bone heals itself.</p>
<p>Almost the instant a bone is broken the body sets out to repair it. When a bone is broken the blood vessels that run the length of it are severed. Instantly, the blood forms what is known as a fracture hematoma which is a blood clot that helps to stabilize the bone and naturally align the broken pieces in preparation for the body to heal or mend them.</p>
<p>After a few days the hematoma develops into a tougher tissuey thing thats called a soft callus. The cells in the area begin to produce collagen which it the major protein present in your bones and the connective tissue. With more time, cartilage is produced and the callus becomes tougher until it eventually connects the two pieces of bone.</p>
<p>Then, these little things called osteoblasts enter the area and produce bone cells the transform the callus into a bone callus.</p>
<p>As all of this takes place, the bone is naturally set into position, and it begins to reabsorb bits of dead bone and create a hard callus which creates a sort of bulge in the skin. As the months pass the bone is replaced with new bone as the hard callus is decreased which eventually returns the bone to its original size. Over time the bone grows stronger again and can bear the weight, and or workload we ask it too. Its really a remarkable process.</p>
<p>It should be noted that the cast that is so often applied to the area of the broken bone serves no purpose at all in the healing process except that it provides immobility to the broken bone as it heals itself. This is not to say that there is no need to seek medical attention if youve suffered a broken bone. Of course, you should always seek medical attention when any part of your body becomes seriously injured. This includes your amazing bones!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although every teacher is different, the goals of the introductory pointe class are similar no matter where you dance.  These goals include strengthening the feet and ankles, breaking in the pointe shoes, and learning proper execution of skills while wearing pointe shoes.</p>
<p>To strengthen the feet, your teacher may instruct in a variety of methods including demi-pointe work, exercises for the feet and ankles, and basic releves at the barre.  Instruction may also be given for additional work that can be done outside of class to help you gain strength and skill.</p>
<p>Breaking in pointe shoes is simply the wording used to describe taking the shoe from its initial factory condition to where it is conformed to the shape of your foot.  This may include some work with your shoe in hand softening hard spots and bending the shank.  I highly suggest waiting for a teachers instruction before bending, softening, or attempting to break in the shoes.  Doing so on your own may permanently damage or improperly break in the shoes.</p>
<p>In addition to manually softening the shoes, your feet will serve as your greatest break in tool.  Simply doing releves will do much to help the shoes mould to your feet.  Again, be careful about doing too much outside of your teachers watchful eye.  Doing steps incorrectly in pointe shoes may cause the shoes to break in improperly or lead to an injury.<br />
<span id="more-452"></span><br />
Lastly, a basic pointe class will include barre work and eventually center work doing the steps you already know.  Plies, releves, tendus, jetes, and other basic technical steps will help you learn placement, understand positioning, and gain strength as you develop your pointe skills.</p>
<p>In an introductory pointe class, you may find yourself spending only a few minutes actually dancing in the shoes.  Do not be alarmed.  It takes dedication and time over the course of many months and years to develop a strong pointe technique.  You will gain strength, increase grace, and expand your dancing horizons as you begin pointe.  There will be blisters, frustration, and pain, but the beauty of the dance will always make it worthwhile!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this article we&#8217;re going to discuss probably the most common form of treatment for allergy sufferers; the use of antihistamines, what they are and how they work in the body to rid people of their allergy symptoms.</p>
<p>The first question most people ask about antihistamines is what they are.  The reason is because when they see these little wonder pills advertised they are seeing the brand name and not what the pill actually is.  The most popular brand names of antihistamines are Clarityn, Zyrtec, Allegra and Benadryl.  There are plenty more though.  The antihistamine industry is a multi billion dollar a year industry because of all the allergy sufferers but this still doesn&#8217;t tell us what an antihistamine is.</p>
<p>The best way to explain what an antihistamine is and what it does is to actually break the word down.  Antihistamine is composed of two words, anti and histamine.  Anti means to be against something or act against something.  Which leaves us with what a histamine is.  A histamine is something that your body produces in defense to an attack of allergens.  It is these histamines that bring on the terrible symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, etc. that we suffer from when we are attacked by these allergens.  Thus, an antihistamine is something that works against the histamines that our body produces.</p>
<p>Your common antihistamine comes in a little pill.  How it actually works is quite amazing.  What these pills do is release a chemical in our body that is very similar to and looks like a histamine to our body.  These look-alike histamines make our body think that we basically have enough of these and keep the receptors in our body from working against them.  In other words they stop the histamines in our body from working, thus relieving the symptoms.<br />

What most people don&#8217;t know is that this is not the only function of histamines.  They also play a very important role in the brain, keeping us attentive, alert and awake.  So, if we stopped all of the histamines in the body from working we would basically fall asleep.  This can be especially dangerous when driving a car or operating heavy machinery and in fact, this is exactly what happens when we take old antihistamines.  So if you have any of these laying around in your home, please get rid of them and do not take them.  Those expiration dates on antihistamines are there for a reason.</p>
<p>The good news is, newer forms of antihistamines have a much better effect on your allergies with less effect on your brain.  How this is accomplished is actually very simple.  Some medicines barely make it into the brain from the blood.  This is actually not a good thing with antibiotics for brain infections.  But when research workers figured this out they started to make antihistamines that also had the same properties as antibiotics, thus making it so that very little of the drug makes its way to the brain.  If you read most antihistamine labels today it will say right on it, &#8220;non drowsy&#8221;.</p>

<p>Are you eating yourself into diabetes type 2?</p>
<p>Check if you have these 4 eating habits that could contribute to obesity and possibly make you part of the type 2 diabetes epidemic&#8230;</p>
<p>1)  Unconscious eating&#8230;  No, I don&#8217;t mean &#8217;sleep-eating&#8217; (I wonder if there is such a thing?) I&#8217;m talking about automatic eating without any conscious thought to what is happening.</p>
<p>How often do you do something else whilst eating?  Watching TV; reading a book; reading a magazine or newspaper; listening to music, a radio show or conversation?  If you&#8217;re anything like me it&#8217;s probably a rare occasion when you just sit and have a meal, without interruptions.</p>
<p>A recent study carried out by Penn State laboratory showed pre-school children, who consistently watch TV whilst eating, ate up to 33% more than they did when they had a meal without the TV on.</p>
<p>How much extra do you eat, without realizing it, because you are absorbed in a book or TV program?</p>
<p>2)  Eating speed.. Ever finished your meal before others?  Ever bolted your food down and then felt bloated afterwards?</p>
<p>In a recent Sky TV program Paul McKenna (the famous hypnotherapist) explained how the simple act of slowing down whilst eating; putting your knife and fork down between mouthfuls, can contribute to weight loss.<br />

Think about it, if you&#8217;re eating more slowly you&#8217;ll know when you are full.  You won&#8217;t continue eating and get that uncomfortable bloated feeling.  And you won&#8217;t put extra weight on.</p>
<p>Watching that program gave me an &#8216;Aha!&#8217; moment, because that&#8217;s exactly what my father has done all his life. It&#8217;s a standing joke in the family that he takes so long to eat a meal &#8211; he often finishes half-an-hour after everyone else.  And guess what?  Yep &#8211; he&#8217;s as skinny as a rake.  Wish I could say the same about me!</p>
<p>3)  Snacking&#8230;  Are you really hungry when you snack?  Or is it that you &#8220;just fancy a bite to eat&#8221;?</p>
<p>Snacking is probably one of the biggest contributions to weight gain.  It&#8217;s not so much the snacking, it&#8217;s what you snack on! Cookies /biscuits, chocolate, cakes, snack bars &#8211; all these contain massive amounts of sugar that increase the burden on our immune system.  If you overload your system with sugar it may not cope, you could end up with insulin resistance and that leads to type 2 diabetes.</p>
<p>Healthy, no added sugar or sugar free snacks are the best options if you MUST snack.</p>
<p>4)   Sugary drinks&#8230; Do you have a favorite soft drink?  If you do, is it a sugar-sweetened drink or a concentrated sugar-rich fruit juice?  And, on a hot day, how much do you drink of that favorite?  Half-a-liter? One liter?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s all added sugar, which not only impacts on your weight, it also impacts on your body&#8217;s control of the sugar levels in your blood.</p>
<p>In a recent medical study in the US the results indicated that having just one sugar sweetened drink of fruit juice every day made women more susceptible to becoming part of the type 2 diabetes epidemic, by up to 80%.</p>
<p>So, are you planning to be part of the diabetes epidemic? OK, maybe you&#8217;re not PLANNING to&#8230; but maybe your unconscious eating habits have got you on that slippery slope to diabetes.  A little thought about what you eat, where and how, can reduce the risk for you.</p>
