			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So let me tell you, Slim Shots sounds like the absolute most amazing weight loss product to ever hit the market!</p>
<p>They are flavored and you just mix it with some food like a cup of yogurt (that is what they used in the video here).</p>
<p>It is supposed to help curb your appetite and eventually lose bunches of weight.</p>
<p>So if you have been looking at weight loss products for long (hello, we all know we look at them ALL the time!) you will see a reoccurring theme here.  The promise of weight loss with ZERO work on your behalf.  A relaxing walk down easy street right?!</p>
<p>So what is in this stuff anyway?</p>
<p>It is made up of a combination of oat oil and palm oil that makes up about 20 calories (per shot) and costs about 40 bucks for a 30 days supply.</p>
<p>There are some studies that show people did eat up to 30% less within 4 to 8 hours vs. the people that didn&#8217;t take the &#8220;Slim Shots&#8221;.</p>
<p>However this study was short term only not long term&#8230;</p>
<p>Plus, the study only measured whether or not the person ate less or not, it DID NOT measure weight loss in any form or fashion&#8230;  sounds VERY odd to me!</p>
<p>I mean really, this is supposed to help you lose weight, not to eat less.  Granted I fully understand that in the weight loss cycle eating less is one of the two key elements of getting it done and making it happen but to market something like this as a weight loss product and then never actually verify people lost weight is &#8220;No Bueno&#8221;.  (that is no good for you non Spanish speakers lol)</p>
<p>In this video Good Housekeeping is not too keen on the Slim Shots, in fact in their Slim Shots Review they mention that it does not address emotional eating or any other type of impulse eating.</p>
<p>They also give the &#8220;golden ticket&#8221; to weight loss in this video review of Slim Shots&#8230;  are you ready for it?  Trust me I&#8217;m positive deep down you already know&#8230;</p>

<li>Exercise</li>
</ul>
<p>These are the only two things that have been proven over time to give you the long term weight loss that most people desire.</p>
<p>Even Good Housekeeping says so!  I know they might not be the authority on &#8220;everything&#8221; but what they have to say does have some credence with me.  Growing up Mom always had a couple of their issues laying around so I have read a few of them.</p>
<p>Bottom line&#8230;  If you are going to use the Slim Shots make sure you are also exercising!</p>

<p>Ensure your sleeping environment is quiet. My preference for this are the orange, hexagonal, Silencio ear plugs. You can pick these up at any sporting store or gun shop, in the hearing protection aisle of the shooting section of your store.</p>
<p>Be sure when you insert ear plugs, to avoid having them press into your ear drum. If you lay on your side and an ear plug presses against your ear drum all night, you&#8217;ll wake with a raging ear ache. It only took one ear ache to help me seat my ear plugs correctly.</p>
<p>Ensure your sleeping environment is free of EMF (electro magnetic fields). EMF sources can be tricky to identify and nothing interrupts sleep worse.</p>
<p>Simple rule, ensure there is nothing plugged in any outlet in your bed room. Change out your clock radio with a battery powered or better wind up alarm clock. Or even better, create a home based business where you have trouble remembering what day it is and you throw out all your alarm clocks.</p>
<p>If you use an electric blanket, warm your bed and unplug it when you go to sleep.</p>
<p>If you watch television in your bedroom, unplug it before you go to sleep.</p>

<p>Don&#8217;t worry about a small gain while in Italy, just be smart about what you eat, make healthy/smart food choices and whatever you do, LIVE A LITTLE!</p>
<p>Your in Italy for crying out loud&#8230;  have a glass of vino, eat a nice dessert, enjoy life!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So how do people stay motivated when they are trying to lose weight?  This is probably one of the most asked questions when it comes to improving the state of health in ones life.</p>
<p>Everyone says all these great things like:</p>
<ul>
<li>losing weight isn&#8217;t easy</li>
<li>being on a diet is hard</li>
<li>it seems like it takes forever to lose the weight</li>
</ul>
<p>The list goes on and on!  In fact I bet you have a few of those &#8220;negative mantra&#8217;s&#8221; floating around in your head as well!</p>
<p>First things first&#8230; GET RID OF THOSE!!!</p>
<p>Here is why&#8230; the &#8220;small talk&#8221; that we have with ourselves in our own heads totally determines the outcome of just about everything we do.  Certainly everything that is self initiated and self maintained.</p>
<p>Weight loss falls into this category.  Aside from having hormonal imbalances or other adverse health conditions that need to be treated by a medical doctor, our health (weight in this case) is pretty much &#8220;our&#8221; responsibility.</p>
<p>After all&#8230; no one made you eat that donut&#8230; or two&#8230; or three &#8211; you get the point!</p>
<p>That is the one thing that stood out for me in this video, the wonderfully beautiful young woman admitted that this was hard!</p>
<p>I can feel for her, I really can&#8230;!  I also agree, but from a different perspective.</p>
<p>When you decide that you want to make a significant change to your weight, health and life it is really also time to retire the &#8220;negativism&#8217;s&#8221; (I totally made that up by the way) that you run in your head.</p>
<p>Change, this is really hard to &#8220;I love how I&#8217;m making positive changes in my life and am enjoying the exciting changes that I experience each and every day&#8221;.</p>
<p>This might sound cheesy to you, but take a moment and listen to yourself&#8230; write down exactly what it is that you say each and every day.</p>
<p>After a few days you will start to see some patterns and hopefully also how ridiculous some of the things that you say to yourself really are!</p>
<p>Here is the thing&#8230; YOU CAN CHANGE THEM!!!</p>
<p>Literally whenever you want&#8230;</p>
<p>Also, in this video &#8211; HUGE Kudo&#8217;s for just doing an activity that required motion and expended energy.  Moving your furniture around is an activity you will not see setup at your local gym but hey &#8211; If you break a sweat, feel fatigued afterward and then realize sore muscles.</p>
<p>It was a workout!</p>
<p>Change things up&#8230; if you are feeling like the treadmill and yourself are in a bad relationship, take a break from it.  Ride a stationary bike for awhile, get outside and breath some fresh air while going for a walk!</p>
<p>Find a stretch of grass at a park and sprint in one direction, stop, turn around and walk back the other direction &#8211; then do it all over again.  You will enjoy being outside plus your body will love how it needs to &#8220;fast twitch&#8221; all of its muscles as it stabilizes itself on uneven &#8220;outside&#8221; ground.</p>
<p>You will end up having a great workout along the way!</p>
<p>So for today take a serious look at your internal language, listen to what you say to yourself and feel how it affects you or makes you feel.  If it isn&#8217;t positive then start making some changes!</p>
<p>Plus mix up your workout and have fun with it!</p>
<p>Lastly&#8230; just have to say, I&#8217;m 100% behind you in your weight loss journey!  I agree with you in this video (you didn&#8217;t mention your name &#8211; wish you did) that the outfit you have picked out for yourself as a &#8220;goal outfit&#8221; really looks good and even after only two weeks you have made some inspiring progress!</p>
