<p>Before any bariatric surgery there are certain criteria that have to be in place. A potential patient must have tried a healthy diet, a correct exercise regime and weight loss medication before surgery can be considered. An individual must have a body mass index of 40 or over, or 35 and over if there are other health concerns present to be eligible for surgery.</p>
<p>The surgery for a gastric bypass involves the division of the stomach in two as well as the rearrangement of the small intestine leading to a reduction of food capacity of over 90%. The surgery is done under a general anaesthetic so that you are totally unaware of what is happening to you and you feel no pain. You will be in the operating theater for between one and two hours.</p>
<p>A person needs to monitor their diet very carefully after surgery due to the change in shape and capacity of the stomach. An entirely clear liquid diet is recommended for two days after the operation after which pureed food is introduced. For nutritional purposes it is important that a high fiber and protein diet is followed, as well as one that is low in sugar and fat.</p>
<p>As with any surgery there are risks. Although the majority of people have no problems following surgery there are some people who suffer from a condition called dumping. This occurs when too much sugar is consumed and can lead to an individual feeling anxious and suffering from a very rapid heart beat. It is also possible that further surgery may be required if there have been any complications during the initial surgery.</p>
<p>It is vitally important that the patient makes drastic lifestyle and diet changes after surgery to ensure that weight is lost and stays lost. It can be extremely difficult for the first month or so for the patient. Previous to the operation food may have played a large part in a persons life and to change this attitude can be difficult. In the long term however the benefits to a persons health are worth any sacrifices a person has to make.</p>

<p>Relaxation must be total, complete. It&#8217;s essential for any of the seven techniques of astral projection to be successful. The inability to relax is caused by fear. It&#8217;s common among those just learning these techniques. The fears are the result of false beliefs that maybe harm, or even death could come to the person who is trying astral project. To help alleviate those fears the Canterbury Institute conducted and researched a study. The Canterbury Institute is well know for their studies of the occult.</p>
<p>Two thousand people were included in this study, all of the two thousand participated in the studies of the seven techniques of astral projection.. The findings of the institute confirmed that not one person, using the seven techniques of astral projection, were harmed in anyway. Even more important, the people in this study have also been followed during the past three years and not one person has complained of any problems.</p>
<p>Now all concerns and fears can be put aside to rest. Lets take a look at seven of the techniques of astral projection that are pretty easy. These techniques have been successful for quite a few people, many in fact. One that is known is the Monroe and consist of seven steps of astral projection or the seven techniques of astral projections:-</p>
<p>* You must relax your body and your mind. There are numerous relaxation techniques that you can use. A simple one is just deep breathing, slowly and calmly. Deep inhales and deep exhales. Relaxing all the muscles in the body one at a time by tensing them and then releasing them, starting at the toes and working your way up the body.</p>
<p>* Enter into the hynagogic state. This is simply the where your mind and body are bordering going to sleep. You don&#8217;t want to go to sleep. You can use the gazing method to do this. Focus on an object as you lay in bed, and keep staring at it until your eyes close and you are still able to see the object.</p>
<p>* Once you see the object with your eyes closed you are going to need to deepen the state you are in. The best way to do this is to look around (keeping your eyes closed) and see what you can see. It is possible that you may see different light patterns, you may notice that the room is cloaked in a purple light. Don&#8217;t pay to much attention to it, once you stop seeing the light you will know that you have entered a deeper state. You are so completely relaxed at this point that you will no longer be aware of your physical body. This is important according to the Monroe technique of astral projection.</p>
<p>* This step four is most important with Monroe. You have to enter the Vibration state. Several people who have been doing astral projection techniques for a long time say they feel the vibration early in the astral projection. It is thought by these people that the feel of vibration is what happens when the astral body starts to leave your physical body. Don&#8217;t be alarmed, only feel these vibrations.</p>
<p>* Now control the vibration while in this state. Focus, make the vibrations move through your body. This is done with your mind. You want to feel the vibrations through your whole body. Like waves washing over you. Practice this until you can feel the waves anytime you want them. When you can create waves on demand successfully you are ready to leave the body.</p>
<p>* The key element to any astral projection or travel is control, your mind has to be the one in power. To help the control to be stranger Monroe suggest at this spot that you practice the partial separation. While having your mind concentrating on the thought of leaving your physical body, first let your foot or hand go of your astral body. Reach them out to and object close to you, as in the floor, the wall, or other object that is familiar, then reach your foot or hand through the object. Then bring your hand or foot back to your physical body,make the vibrations slow down, and stop the session. Keep laying down and let your body fully return to an awake state.</p>
<p>* This is the step where you will leave the body. Again following all of the previous steps, only this time instead of releasing just a hand or foot from the physical body you are going to move completely into your astral body. This requires a simple adjustment to step six. Instead of focusing on releasing one appendage, you are going to focus on releasing the astral body, by thinking about how light it feels, how weightless you are, how you are as light as feathers blowing in the breeze. The astral body should be moving out of the physical body, you feel as though you are floating, or flying.</p>
<p>There are other methods that you can try, such as the Rope Technique, the Gazing Method, and the Anchor Technique. Spend sometime trying different techniques to see which will work best for you. There is an astral projection technique for everyone.</p>
<p>However, you should be aware that not everyone is able to astral project instantly using the above techniques and some of these require a lot of practice.</p>
<p>Fortunately there is a shortcut! With recent developments in sound technology, there are a lot of audio tools around which can help you.
