Tuberculosis is a disease of lower respiratory tract infection that attacks lung tissue by mycobakterium tuberculosis bacilli, aerobic rod mycobakterium resistant tuberculosis is a slow-growing acid and sensitive to heat and ultra violet rays, with a length of 1-4 / um thick and 0.3 - 0.6 / um. Tuberculosis is transmitted from person to person by airborne transmission. Individuals can infected through talking, coughing, sneezing, laughing or singing, releasing large droplets (greater than 100u) and small (1 to 5 u). Large droplet settling, while smaller droplets are suspended in the air and blown by susceptible individuals. These infectious particles can settle in the free air for 1-2 hours, depending on the presence or absence of ultraviolet light, poor ventilation and humidity. In the damp and dark atmosphere of germs can last for several days to several months. When these infectious particles inhaled by healthy people, will be attached to the airway or lungs. Particles can enter the alveolar if its size is less than 5 mikromilimeter.

Tuberculosis is a disease that is controlled by an intermediary cell immune response. This response is referred to as hypersensitivity reactions (slow).

Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi or Salmonella paratyphi A, B and C. Typhoid bacteria found in feces and urine of patients. The spread of bacteria into the food or beverages may result from a lack of hand washing clean. Flies can also spread the bacteria directly from feces to food.

Salmonella typhi bacteria into the digestive tract and get into the bloodstream. This will be followed by inflammation in the small intestine and colon. In severe cases, affected tissues may experience bleeding and perforation (perforation).

Approximately 3% of patients infected by Salmonella typhi and not get treatment, the bacteria will be found in the stool for more than 1 year. Some of the carriers of these bacteria have no symptoms of typhoid fever.

90% of cases of typhoid fever occurred at the age of 3-19 years, the incidence increases after age 5 years. In the first week of illness, typhoid fever is very difficult to distinguish from other febrile illnesses. To confirm the diagnosis of germ culture examination is required for confirmation.

Symptoms and signs of Typhoid Fever:

Usually symptoms begin gradually within 8-14 days after infection. Symptoms can include fever, headache, joint pain, sore throat, constipation, decreased appetite and abdominal pain. Sometimes patients feel pain when urinating and there coughing and bleeding from the nose. If treatment is not started, then the body temperature will slowly rise within 2-3 days, which reached 39.4 to 40 ° C for 10-14 days. The heat began to fall gradually by the end of the third week and returned to normal by the fourth week. Fever is often accompanied by slow heart rate and fatigue. In severe cases can occur delirium, stupor or coma. In about 10% of patients incurred a small pink spots on the chest and abdomen during the second week and lasts for 2-5 days.

Complications of Typhoid Fever

Most of the patients experienced complete healing, but there could be complications, especially in patients with untreated or if treatment is delayed, among others:

Many patients experiencing intestinal bleeding; about 2% suffered severe bleeding. Bleeding usually occurs in the third week.

Intestinal perforation occurs in 1-2% of patients and cause severe abdominal pain.

Pneumonia can occur in the second or third week and is usually caused by pneumococcal infection (although the typhoid bacteria can also cause pneumonia).

Liver and bladder infections.

Blood infection (bacteremia) sometimes cause bone infection (osteomyelitis), heart valve infection (endocarditis), infection of the lining of the brain (meningitis), infection of the kidneys (glomerulitis) or genital-urinary tract infections.

In about 10% of untreated cases, symptoms of re-infection occur within two weeks after the fever subsides.

There are some plants that can be used to treat typhoid fever, among others:

30 grams of leaves of Centella asiatica, (Linn), Urban, plus 10 grams of leaves of Coleus amboinicus, Lour, boiled with 2 cups water to boil, drink one cup 2 times a day. Each drink can be added 1 tablespoon of honey.

Hemorrhoid is the swelling and inflammation of veins in the rectum or anus. In America, 50% of the population aged 50 years suffering from hemorrhoids. And an estimated 50-85% of the population will experience hemorrhoids symptoms in a certain period in his life.

The cause of hemorrhoids is mixed. Hemorrhoids can be genetically inherited, or because it is the weakness of the veins in the rectum or anus, or can also be caused by difficulty in bowel movements or diarrhea. Sitting too long can also cause hemorrhoids. Hypertension (high blood pressure), obesity (overweight), and a lazy lifestyle (not active) is also one of the originators of hemorrhoids. Consumption of alcohol and coffee in large quantities and often also one of the precipitating factors. Alcohol can cause liver disease that will eventually lead to blockage of blood vessels in the rectum or anus, while consuming too much coffee can cause hypertension. State of dehydration (lack of fluids) may also be a factor. Dehydration can cause hard stools and difficult bowel movements. Vitamin E deficiency is another factor.

Hemorrhoid is divided into two types:

External Hemorrhoid. Is hemorrhoids that arise in the area called the anal verge, which is the end of the anal canal (anus). These types of hemorrhoids can be seen from the outside without using any tools. Usually will cause pain. Swelling and irritation can occur.

Internal hemorrhoids. Is hemorrhoids that appear in the rectum. Usually these types of hemorrhoids are not painful. So most people do not realize this if you have hemorrhoids. Bleeding can occur if irritated. Bleeding that occurs dripping.

Prevention for hemorrhoids:

Drink plenty of water, eating foods that contain lots of fiber (fruits, vegetables, cereals, fiber supplements, etc.) about 20-25 grams a day

Sport

Reduce straining

Avoid use of laxatives (bowel stimulants)

Limiting straining during bowel movements.

The use of tight underwear can trigger the occurrence of hemorrhoids and can irritate existing hemorrhoids.

At 8 to 14 weeks gestation, the penetration is deeper so that the placenta was not removed perfectly and caused a lot of bleeding. In more than 14 weeks of gestation the fetus was issued earlier than the placenta.
Mild to moderate bleeding in early pregnancy where the POC is still in the uterine cavity. This condition shows that the abortion is in progress and will continue to be incomplete or complete abortion.

Incomplete abortion

Bleeding in early pregnancy where most of the products of conception have been out of the uterine cavity through the cervical canal.

If you are a smoker who wants to quit, you need to figure out why it is that you smoke. The reason that you started might not be important now, but the reason that you continue to smoke, other than addition, is. What types of events in your life cause you to pull out a cigarette and light up? Do you smoke when you are bored or when you are trying to concentrate on something? Do you smoke when you feel stress? Knowing what things cause you to smoke is going to be the first step in truly conquering your habit.

Understand Why You Smoke

For a week, make a note of every cigarette that you have, and make a note of why you believe you smoked the cigarette. If you are unsure, write down some of the things that led to the cigarette. Was it time for a break at work? Did you just finish a large meal? We you sitting on the porch and having a beer with a few friends? Was the craving too great, and if it was, why?

Once you write down all of these things, you are going to be able to see a pattern as to why you smoke. Being able to see the pattern should help you start to understand some of the things that are precipitators to your smoking. Once you find those, you can start to develop different ways to deal with them when they occur.

For example, if you always smoke on your break at work, consider exchanging that with another activity, such as going for a walk. Those who smoke after a meal could also go for a walk, or do dishes right away. Anything that helps you to get your mind off the cigarette and onto something else is going to be helpful.

Quitting is Possible

Once you start to exchange your cigarettes for other activities or chores, it does become easier to say no when the craving strikes. When you are able to understand the psychological underpinnings that cause you to want to smoke, it is going to be easier to challenge them when they occur as well.

You may find that utilizing eCigs, or electronic cigarettes, can help when you are trying to quit. Different people will have different methods that help them to quit. Others have done it before you, and you can do it as well.

Gastritis is an inflammation locally or spread to the mucosa of the stomach and filled with bacteria grown

Gastritis can be caused by drinking too much alcohol, use drugs long-term nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or infection with bacteria such as Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). Sometimes gastritis develops after major surgery, traumatic injury, burns, or severe infections. Certain diseases, such as pernicious anemia, autoimmune disorders, and chronic acid flowing back, can also cause gastritis.

The most common symptom is a disturbance or abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, nausea and vomiting or a feeling of fullness or burning in the upper abdomen. Blood in your vomit or stool-black stools may be a sign of bleeding in the stomach, which may indicate a serious problem that requires prompt medical attention.

Gastritis is diagnosed through one or more medical tests:

Endoscopic upper gastrointestinal tract.

Doctors gently pushed with an endoscope, a small tube containing a tiny camera, through your mouth (or sometimes through the nose) and down into your stomach to see the lining of the stomach. The doctor will check for inflammation and may remove a small sample of tissue for examination. The procedure to remove a tissue sample called a biopsy.

Blood tests.

Your doctor may check your red blood cell count to see if you have anemia, which means that you do not have enough red blood cells. Anemia can be caused by bleeding from the stomach.

Feces Test.

This test checks the presence of blood in your stool, a sign of bleeding. Stool tests may also be used to detect the presence of H. pylori in the digestive tract.

Treating Gastritis

Treatment usually involves taking drugs to reduce stomach acid and thereby help relieve symptoms and promote healing. Stomach acid irritates inflamed tissue in the stomach. Avoiding foods, beverages, or certain drugs may also be recommended.

There are plants that can be used to treat gastritis, among other:

Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the body can not regulate the sugar content in blood glucose or sugar that is transported into cells as a source of energy, just come flowing in the bloodstream, and even go wasted in the urine. Regulation of blood sugar by the body is done with the help of the hormone insulin from the pancreas.

Diabetes consists of two types:

Type 1

Diabetes because the body does not produce insulin, so patients need daily insulin injections to control blood sugar levels. Type 1 diabetes occurs in children and adolescents and their development takes place cepat.tanda diabetes

Type 2

In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas produces insulin, but the body's cells do not respond normally. This type of diabetes is usually associated with obesity and some cases of pregnancy as well as a new outbreak of the age of 40 years.
High blood sugar levels will slowly cause damage to blood vessels and nerves that lead to impaired function of the eyes, kidneys and nerves as well as increase the risk of heart attack, stroke and impotence.

Symptoms of diabetes

In type 2 diabetes, blood sugar control can be done through changes in lifestyle and diet. According to various studies, the changes are shown to effectively reduce the risk of diabetes. Therefore, it is very important for you to realize when diabetes already exists within you.

Someone said to suffer from diabetes when blood sugar levels above 126 mg / dl (fasting) or 200 mg / dl (not fasting). However, the most visible symptom of new diabetes when blood sugar is above 270 mg / dl. Do not rely on symptoms to determine the presence of diabetes. The only accurate way to find out is to test blood and urine.
John (7) (name imaginary) has been suffering from heavy bowel disorder can eat without chilling pain in his stomach. Nothing can be found in his guts when diagnosed; doctors are saying he may be suffering from leaky gut syndrome. And this was happened in his childcare home. This is nothing new, mainly in Canada, as suggested by a research team.

Fifty percent of the children going to childcare home are likely to be victim of obesity. It is also reported by Daily Mail recently. But, simultaneously the children, who grow up under its parents' caress are not so prone to be overweight, as suggested by research. But, is that research have any reliability? Now I write about the details of that research.

The Study:

A Canadian study has found that mind-boggling story and they have sufficient as well as reliable data to form the conclusion. Although there are so many limitations in that study and it is also result may not be true for other countries except Canada.

The research was carried out by some institutes of England, Ireland, France, Canada and they are funded by governments of many countries such as France, Canada etc. The study was first published in Journal of Pediatrics.

The Main study suggest that the sixty-five percent of the children between 4 to 10 years, who are growing up under the care of nursery, are more likely to be attacked by obesity and many other ailments related to bowel. But it is true that all nurseries are not so bad. So, it is up to you to decide where your children will be safe.

About the Research:

The study conducted involving 1649 children aged between 4 and 10 years. Their mothers are given some questionnaire and asked some of related questions of that research.

Next, the research differentiated children based on the child care, nanny and based care, relative based care etc. And noticed the different results came out from different types of cares. They conducted by assiduous efforts.

Hence, the study found the result as wrote earlier in this article. But again, it is not true all care-house or nurseries. However, it is true that some children face health problems during nursery life and it is also observed that some of them follow thorough treatment like Candida cleanse or other treatments to come out of diseases.

So, what's about you? Are you safe sending your children at nursery.

Foods to increase platelet levels (treat Thrombocytopenia)

Platelets are a part of the blood that play a role in the blood clotting process, platelets irregular shape, have no nucleus, and small size. Its diameter is only about 2-4 μm. Normal number of platelets in the blood is about 150000-350000 platelets / mL.

Platelets have a primary function to freeze the blood, so much blood was wasted when there is bleeding. University of Munich revealed that platelets also serve to boost the immune response. That is, platelets also serves to strengthen the immune system. In the event of injury, the platelets gather at the wound and freezing so close the wound. Then, platelets directs bacteria to the spleen. Furthermore, bacteria are 'under siege' by dendritic cells that serve as cell endurance. So that's the immune response that kills bacteria.

Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which the number of platelets in the body has decreased and less than normal.

Symptoms of Thrombocytopenia:

Bleeding can be a sign of skin beginning of the platelet count is less. Purplish spots often appear on the lower leg and minor injuries can cause bruising spread. Can bleeding gums and blood can also be found in the stool or urine. In female patients, menstrual blood very much. Bleeding may be difficult to stop so that surgery and accidents can be fatal.
If the platelet count goes down, the bleeding will get worse. Platelet count less than 5.000-10.000/mL can cause huge loss of blood through the digestive tract or brain bleeding that can be fatal.

Causes of Thrombocytopenia

Some things that cause thrombocytopenia are:
The bone marrow produces fewer platelets

Leukemia

Aplastic Anemia

Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria

Excessive alcohol use

Megaloblastic Anemia

Bone marrow disorders

Platelets trapped in the enlarged spleen

Cirrhosis with congestive splenomegaly

Myelofibrosis

Gaucher Disease

Platelets become dissolved

Replacement of massive blood transfusion or replace (because platelets can not survive in the blood transfused)

Cardiopulmonary bypass surgery

Increasing the use or destruction of platelets

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)

HIV Infection

Purpura after blood transfusion

Drugs, such as heparin, kuinidin, quinine, sulfa-containing antibiotics, some oral diabetes medications, gold salt, rifampin

Chronic Leukemia in newborn infants

Lymphoma

Systemic lupus erythematosus

Circumstances involving clots in the blood vessels, such as obstetric complications, cancer, blood poisoning (septicemia) caused by gram-negative bacteria, traumatic brain damage

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura

Hemolytic-uremic syndrome

Adult respiratory distress syndrome

Severe infection with septicemia.

To treat Thrombocytopenia, should be treated first cause of thrombocytopenia. Increasing levels of platelets in the blood will be effective if the cause is treated.

There are some plants that DAPT used to increase levels of platelets in the blood, such as:

Drinking the juice of Guava - Psidium guajava, Linn regularly every morning and evening as much as 1 cup, effective to increase levels of platelets in the blood.

Plant to treat diarrhea

Diarrhea is an increase in the number (three times or more) or decreased consistency of stools (become soft or liquid) within 24 hours. Diarrhea can be divided into acute (less than 14 days) and persistent (more than 14 days) and chronic (over 1 month)

Symptoms and signs of diarrhea:

Decreased stool consistency (liquid) with / without blood, body temperature may rise (fever), abdominal pain, headache, decreased appetite, weakness, nausea, vomiting, myalgia (muscle pain), anxiety.

Besides diarrhea, also can be classified into several categories, measured by loss of body fluids (dehydration), among others:

without dehydration

Conscious, drink normal, normal eyelids, many tears, the mouth is dry, the skin is not wrinkled. Normal urine.

Mild-moderate dehydration

Restlessness, thirst, sunken eyelids, decreased tears, dry mouth, pale skin, decreased urine.

Severe dehydration

Weak, unconscious, do not want to drink, very sunken eyelids, very dry, pale skin.

There are some plants that can be used to treat diarrhea, among others:

5 pieces of Levant Cotton - Gossypium herbaceum L (the young) boiled with a glass of water for 15 minutes. Once cool, strain and drink the water at once.

10-15 grams of the root of Erchagouyahua - Ervatamia divaricata (L.) Burk thinly sliced, boiled in 3 cups of water until remaining 1 glass. After chilling filtered, then taken little by little.

15 g leaves of Indonesian bay leaf - Syzygium polyanthum (Wight.) Walp, washed and boiled with 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. After chilling filtered and drunk.

In addition, diarrhea can also be treated to apples, please see here

Alcohol is a natural product made from whole grains, fruits or vegetables are fermented, which is a process that uses yeast or bacteria to change the sugars into alcohol. The resulting alcohol can be used as a cleaner, an antiseptic or tranquilizers.

When a person consumes alcohol, the liquid will be absorbed into the bloodstream. This will affect the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), which controls virtually all body functions.

Alcohol metabolism occurs primarily in the liver. When taken in low doses, alcohol is broken down by the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase to acetaldehyde (almost 95% of ethanol in the body will be oxidized to acetaldehyde and acetate, while the remaining 5% will be excreted with urine). These enzymes require zinc (Zn) as a catalyst. Acetaldehyde is then converted to acetyl CoA, the enzyme dehydrogenase. Both reaction requires the coenzyme NAD. H ions are formed, bound by NAD and NADH formed. Acetyl CoA then enters tricarbocilic acid cycle (TCA), which then produces NADH, FADH2, and GTP are used to form adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a high-energy compound that acts as an energy reserve which is engaged in the cell. But if you drink a lot of alcohol, insufficient dehydrogenase enzymes to metabolize alcohol to acetaldehyde whole. As a replacement heart system uses another enzyme called Microsomal Ethanol Oxidizng System (Meos).

Resulting from the breakdown of acetaldehyde by the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase, and interact again with alcohol, will produce a compound arrangement approaching morphine, can cause people to become addicted to alcohol or alcoholic.

Alcohol is a depressant that slows down the central nervous system function. These substances can inhibit some of the messages that should be conveyed to the brain. Because there are obstacles, it could change perceptions, emotions, movement, vision and hearing.

In a very small amount of alcohol can help a person feel more relaxed and reduce anxiety. However, if excessive amounts can lead to large changes in the brain, resulting in intoxication.

Symptoms that arise when having intoxication is staggering, loss of coordination and not aware of the words. Sometimes it also makes people confused or disoriented. People who are drunk thinks that he can move well, but the reality is not like that, and out of character of the person. Reactions arising depends on each person, in some people the effects can appear very friendly or very aggressive and angry. If a lot of consumption of alcohol in a short time, then the effect could be much faster which is characterized by vomiting. For extreme cases are fainting, shortness of breath, low blood sugar, seizures and even death can result. Nervous system changes that come from alcohol can make a person do something stupid or embarrassing. Because disorders of the nervous system that makes a person intoxicated when consuming alcohol.

Intoxication level is influenced by:

Types and levels of alcohol you drink.

The amount of alcohol you drink.

The state of the stomach and intestinal mucosa.

The amount of water content in the body.

Body weight

Sex.

The habit.
