<p>Oliver Wyman, which is a Marsh business, works across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting. It has more than 7,000 employees across 70 offices worldwide.</p>
<p>Elphick will support the firm to build out its healthcare private capital offering, supporting clients across the investment lifecycle while contributing to the growth of its healthcare &amp; life sciences franchise. He joins from Mansfield Advisors, where he served as executive chair, helping grow the healthcare strategy consultancy firm.</p>
<p>Elphick is the founder and deputy chair of the European Healthcare Investor Association and has worked in healthcare throughout his career as a lawyer at Linklaters, investment banker at Rothschild, UBS, and Jefferies, and as a strategy consultant. He was also chief executive officer of LaingBuisson. He is a non-executive chair of Compass Recruitment Solutions, a private equity-backed healthcare and life sciences search and recruitment firm.</p>
